See you at Wrestlution, CT. + Valkyrie and Aerith tensions grow. Can Valkyrie put enough trust in her partner tonight to get things done against the thorn that seems to have been lodged in her side for months now? Let’s hope so; ShowBlitz need their feathers rustled. MATCH: Aerith/Valk vs. ShowBlitz Valk and Aerith seemed to just have ShowBlitz’ number in this one. There was a few times early on where Riley went to 0 counters and Aerith made her pay both times. Valk held her own once she got in the ring, funnily enough, against Cheryl. Shooting Star Press - - - nice. I’m surprised no-one had taken that as a sig or fin yet. Some timely taunts in this one like Valk taunting Riley in the corner. Cheryl got some payback after she slapped Aerith down in the face corner with Valk delivering a move of her own. Straight counter battle until the knee strike puts Cheryl down. + Flojo, please, please, please write promo’s for Lution where you man the merchandise stand. Heaps of opportunity for hilarity. + B-17 & Wrex meeting backstage was hilarious. The brawl coupled with the dialogue was great. Pixelated for your safety. + Code Terror celebrating too early with that champagne! Haha. Both men looking to get victories tonight before heading into Lution. MATCH: Capo vs. Tay Terror Two of the tag participants for Lution’s Turmoil tag ladder match go head to head. Perhaps Tay took out the third man on the original card? That springboard elbow/roll under spot was awesome. Man. Capo, you got springboarded on for a bit there, my man. Tay went to the well too many times and Capo was able to capitalise, until the tables turned back in Tay’s favour. This match made me see Tay as more of a Light Heavyweight than I previously have; so many dives and springboard moves, and him compared to Capo size-wise made it clearer as well. Feel sorry for my tag partner in that one, but Lution is the real test. + Leading on from the previous encounter between these two, Karissa is piiissssed. Battle for the rights to the Gotch-Style Piledriver perhaps? + B-17/Wrex part two – “OH NO, I TOUCHED IT!” - - - nuff said, lol. MATCH: Connor Rawson vs. Tyler Steel COMMENTARY!! REEEEEEEE!! Turn that off plz kthxbai. Fuck I just looked at the match length... The action wasn’t too bad though, move variety was different enough to keep it fresh. I like Steel’s entrance and attire; like a highflying blacksmith. Lots of dive action tonight, not complaining though, I like seeing that stuff. I think I counted 3 finishers from Steel before finishing with the sub. Went way longer than it should’ve but can’t really complain about the action during the match. Would’ve liked to see an RP from at least one of these guys on the show but what can ya do? I wanna know more about their characters. + Could trouble be a’ brewin in the ShowBlitz camp? Riley sticking up for herself. Wonder if this loss will affect Cheryl for the Lution showdown? + B-17/Wrex 3: again, hilarious banter. Perhaps one day B-17 will own his own beach house at a nudist colony and show the people just how they too can become a part of the B community. + HR meeting between Valk/Cheryl. This is basically a blood feud that will culminate in an eruption of violence at Lution. Probably one of the top feuds going into the event to be honest. A lot of drama, betrayal, bullying, revenge, boundary pushing, etc. The classic “bully pushes victim until they snap” story. Looking forward to this match a lot at Lution. MATCH: Code Jackman vs. Mistico vs. Ricky the Unclean What’s with all the 20min matches tonight lol. Random question as I watch this (and I’ve noticed it in other multiman matches) but is it considered hovering if you stand by someone executing a move and basically grapple/attack them as soon as the animation finishes? I would say yes, but I wanna hear what everyone else view on it is. Also, is it a dick move to dive out into someone just after they use the Roll Escape ability seeing as doing so uses stamina? Kinda like an extra counter in a way; like a diving “crapple”? Again, would love to hear vets opinions on these types of things. As for the match itself it was a decently even match, I didn’t feel like anyone was well ahead at any point, which is how a match should feel until the end (unless it’s an ultimate comeback story type deal). Ricky got thrown onto Code twice in this match by Mistico hahaha. Would’ve been a cool finish if Mistico’s pin on Ricky was successful after that finisher trade. Code and Ricky working together? Whaaaaat? Mistico, don’t take that ish! Famouser OUTTA NOWHERE! Code Terror will be going into Lution on a roll! + This tag team segment was fun to write for this feud. That trailer took a long ass time to put together but it was worth it to tie into the Lution feud (plus, I need practice anyway). Looking forward to the Lution match with all 5 other guys involved in this one. + Mistico still protected his win/loss record here by not getting pinned, so that was good for the Lution hype as he goes in still looking strong for his Pride Championship match against Facemask McGee. Hopefully Archer uses that mask for a while longer (milk the gimmick!) it’s a great story/RP piece. + Part 4 of the Naked Chronicles – Triple Dick-plex! A dog whistle to stop B, hahaha, so good. This shit was ridiculous but highly entertaining hahaha. MAIN EVENT: Lee vs. Trance Lee’s shirt, lol. That’s what happens when you taunt the devil, Lee! Punches in the face. Lee gets his own back on a taunting Trance so everything is restored to normal. The Force is balanced once more. Diving Leg Lariat was dope. Tree of Woe cannonball spot was also dope, was a cool sequence leading up to it as well. Man, Austin got coloured up real quick but managed to keep the difference minimal, catching up by the ¾ mark. Rare top rope dive from Lee, pulling out all the stops. Dodges the Frog Splash! Again! Lee is holding on! 1 count on the Discount Cutter?! BAH GAWD KENG! Buckle Bomb has the ref in for a check. Lee too dazed and gets finished with the Codebreaker. MOTN: Main Event for sure. Under 15mins and still had the back and forth and close calls needed to make it a great watch. Overall this show was great. The stories keep reaching new heights heading in to Lution. Was expecting more RP’s from others being the last Turmoil before the big one but hey, we’ve got Riot next week for the go home show, so hopefully any loose ends are tied up on that show. As always, big thank you to anyone involved in putting the show together.

Thanks for clearing that up. I didn't realize they were Cheryl's protection force, if that's the case then go ahead and kick the other one in the bollocks too. And with Aerith, I've been following the story, it must've just been the English thing that perhaps I didn't think about when reading through the segment as your writing is very good; I wouldn't be able to tell it was your second language if I was unaware.

So I've seen some comments in Discord about my Valkyrie comments which seem to have been taken the wrong way. First off, yes, I know Valk's first language isn't English, and in that respect she writes really fucking well cos English is a confusing language if not your native tongue. Secondly, it wasn't only the "I can do whatever I want" line by itself. If I remember correctly she had just KICKED A SECURITY GUARD IN THE DICK and then said that. Like "fuck you guys, I can kick you if I want to". That's just how it came across while reading it. Plus, hasn't she kicked some other staff members recently?

In short... yes. The Upside Down is a strange place.

RUDO’s ROYAL WEDDING RIOT REVIEW + Bobby setting the tone for the evening with a tense interaction with a security guard. MATCH: Colby Young vs. Bossa For the love of Bill Murray that theme music has got to change. Though something positive will come from that; we will have another OCW meme to add to the collection. Aside from that, it was a decent outing by the debutant and I was digging the moveset, aside from the flipping senton ground attack, although I can sort of let it slide with his apparent athletic background gimmick. That finish is also great, dug that too. Simple but effective, putting Bossa down for the 3. + Cyborg with words for Telos. Cyborg is one of those CAWs that if he was real I would not want to meet him in a dark alleyway. Looking forward to see how Telos fares against one of the top handlers on RIOT. + KD promo was gold; “Sophia, I still see you baby” hahaha. This is why KD don’t have to write to get over. + H20 with the spoken word; great stuff. And having big security guards was a nice touch of heel antics, keeping himself safe from a possible Minio attack? Man, Lution is shaping up, I’m pumped for this re-re-match. MATCH: Telos vs. Cyborg Tyson’s entrance song goes hard. That beat is hard as fuck. COMMENTARY!!!! FUUUUUUCCCCCKKKK!!!! Turn that off next time. Totally distracting. Apparently there’s a WWE superstar in the match called “Taylor”? This is why you turn it off. As for the match itself, it was decent, a lot of back and forth although Telos was constantly behind in healthy body parts. OMG move to the outside wasn’t enough to put Telos over as Cyborg hits the powerbomb fin for the win. + Mugen you are a mad man. Hopefully the Lution arena isn’t sucked into a vortex or crumble to dust in the wake of Mugen vs. Ryu. Someone needs to rein in these artifacts! Where’s S.H.I.E.L.D. when you need them! + I felt like this triple threat was missing input from Cohle until now. Now we’ve got a coward running scared from the big bad wolf. But at Lution, you’ll have two guys aiming at your throat (pause) and nowhere to run. + This is how you make the Clark Effect your own. Great job by TTT to take over the segment themselves and bring in old storylines to back it up. Kass putting his rep on the line with those fighting words. + Quartz has arrived! This man oozes disrespect and arrogance. Don’t take that crap, OCW Universe! So many attacks and cowardly actions from him and Cohle against the weapon of a human, Cyborg. Wonder if there will be COLLUSION between those two at Lution? MATCH: Liger Mask vs. Quartz This was a really good match IMO. Even all the way through til the end where Liger began to pull away before the finish. Liger’s moveset is so weird, but it suits him for some reason; the poison mist, Peoples Elbow, the Santino cobra strike thingy. Are Liger/Bunny still tag champs? Where are the tag teams on Riot at? + Telos and Cyborg feud post-Lution? With that RP it seems Cyborg won’t really have a choice. + JEHST RP + H20 is in Bobby’s head. He’s lost his mind, or at least his ability to see clearly in his state of revenge fuelled rage. The moment that bell rings at Lution, H20 will have to deal with what I’ve seen as the most motivated and fuelled version of Bobby Minio. Also, great writing once again. + GhettOCW: I never get these video clips for Murdock. Maybe it’s been a running thing for a while, but as a relatively new member of OCW I’m totally lost. It’s just a random fight clip, then the match banner at the end. Can anyone explain this to me? Is it Murdock being super poetic and using this video clip as a metaphor as to what will happen at Lution? I dunno. I’m looking forward to that match regardless due to the heat between the two. + Nate Ortiz RP: Started off with a history lesson on OCW, which I always appreciate reading, as I learn a little more each time. Will Parker show up on Riot next week before WL? I’ll be looking out for that for sure. + Creepy ass video clip. I heard “Black Phoenix” mentioned in there so, Quartz? That you? Wonder if so, if this will affect his Lution attire/entrance/demeanour, etc. + I feel like Valkyrie is doing a lot of heelish stuff lately which is weird. I’m all for Chaotic Good face wrestlers, but she’s teetering on the heel side with some of that stuff, especially saying (paraphrase) “now that I’m under Aerith’s protection I can do whatever I want”. Seems a little big headed for the little bubba, but nonetheless, her enthusiasm in getting rid of ShowBlitz (the true heels in this story) overrides it. Then the brawl ensues. A lot of spots thrown in the mix, hardcore brawl for sure. I just hope the spots in this brawl don’t overshadow the match itself. It was good that the heel (Stixx) got the last laugh as it leaves the payoff of the feud til Lution should the face team win. + MJF in the hoooouuuuuussse! If he feuds with either Bobby or H20 after Lution it’ll be one of the feuds I keep my eye on for sure. Can someone please tell me who his handler is? No-one has yet lol. I wanna give props to them but can’t if I don’t know who it is. + Now we see the results of the carnage between Valk/Stixx. Valk shoulda waited til Lution by the looks of things. + I…what? Penguin vs. Lion in a chessmatch? I couldn’t help but picture this RP as a Pixar short film lol. MATCH: KD vs. Mugen Daaaammmmnnnn, Mugen takes out the number one contender before Lution cleanly! Does that mean he may get a shot at the title in the coming months? Surely he has to be considered after that performance. KD still a monster though. I suppose Mugen has to go through Ryu before he can get a shot at his sons belt. MOTN = Main Event. It was a toss-up between that and Quartz/Liger, but I think the sheer wow factor of Mugen beating the number one contender was what made this one really stick in my head as the MOTN. Two shows til Wrestlution everyone. Wooooooooo!!!

She's been a busy week/weekend but finally got to reviewing the show. RUDO’S TEETER-TOTTER TILTAWHIRL TURMOIL TAKEDOWN + The show opens up with four of Turmoils best. This was a heated exchange of words, even between stable-mates. Could the hunger for the gold strap tear this powerful faction apart? + Could this be the vulnerable side to Dragana? I’m sure it won’t play a part in her in ring mentality, but was good to see that side of a competitor. + Valk/Aerith RP – thought it was good to see these two interact, and it was interesting to see two faces (I assume Aerith is a face) not being “best buds” like would normally be expected of two face characters. Let’s see if these two can take down Turmoils most dominant girl group. MATCH: Dragana vs. Riley Quinn This one was pretty even most of the way, and had enough back and forth to keep it interesting. Even though Riley was a bit behind near the end health-wise it never really seemed that way while watching. First time seeing Dragana in action. That dive through the ropes was dope, and that piledriver finish is brutal; for the win. + Pastor Peter getting an RP in. Entertaining stuff. So Butcher / Pastor feud, or Butcher / Pastor tag team? + Colby Young better back up this hype, that’s all I’m gonna say. Hopefully we see his debut in the coming weeks after Lution to see what he’s got. + Showblitz / Valk & Aerith RP. Good setup for Lution. Good to see them playing off the “dirty pin” from their last match. Man, OCW refs are getting a hard time lately, hopefully there are some left for Lution. + Mistico getting RP’s out is only good for his standing in the mid card of Turmoil. Been on a roll lately too, on the sticks. Excited to see how he fares against Archer at Lution. + Cort and Pete RP; classic Cort humour. I just imagine the “montage” song from Team America playing during the start of that RP. He has the Lord’s blessing for his match against The Steve? The Steve may need to wear some Behemoth merch to the ring to counteract the holy spirit. MATCH: Mistico vs. Vincent Valmont This was a pretty good match, even colour basically the whole way through. Mix of high flying vs. Power brawler was a good watch too. Mistico deserves that title shot after his recent run of W’s. + JEHST RP + Tobin with the strong words of revenge for Mez. I wonder how far he’ll go to take that W from Murdock. + JEHST/CAPO RP + YESSSS! Archer has a face mask! CONTINUITY BITCHES! I told you I’d mark out if that happened. Then he rips on Capo and Ricky in typical Archer fashion. Will be watching his title run closely; we’ll see if Mistico is the real deal at Lution. MATCH: Hollywood Money vs. Celtic Dragons Our competitive match went way too long so it needed to be edited down significantly, hence the seemingly out of place edit clips. Hopefully the rest of it wasn’t too out of place. Had fun with editing the ending together as well to tie into the Lution match. + Ashley Moore: the interviewer was obviously not Ms. Clark as she didn’t have the right questions for Ashley, obvs. I’ll be waiting to see if her DDT has as much impact as she says it does when she debuts. And who is Guzdulgan and Oozelwurt or whatever? Is that a soccer thing? I don’t know the kicky ball sport people so can’t comment on that. + And then, the Celtic Dragons were born. I like the name. See you gents in the ring at Lution. + Some history and fighting words from Nate Ortiz himself. I’ve only seen less than a handful of Nate’s matches having only been with OCW since late last year so it’s going to be a hell of a match to watch at Lution I’m sure. That card is fucking supreme as well, really pumped for it. MATCH: Austin vs. Wrex vs. Trance I don’t know what it is but I love Trance’s moveset; suits him to a T. Really thought this one was over when Lee hit the Discount Cutter at about the 14.40min mark but Wrex was able to kick out. Wrex winning while Lee was caught in the tree of woe would’ve been a cool finish too, but alas, Trance kicks out. There were so many clutch counters in this match. I think that rope break near the end fucked Trance over pretty bad too, I think that would’ve done it. Congrats to Wrex for the sneaky school boy roll-up; classic. MOTN: Main Event for sure. Long, but constant edge-of-seat back and forth, especially near the end. And shout out to Valk, thank you for reviewing/commenting on my stuff, it’s good to see some kind of view on it as I don’t think I’ve seen any kind of comment on my stuff for a while and I lose gauge of if people are digging it or not. So thank you again. Props to Jay and Nate for putting it together, and anyone who helped with the show. Lution is not far away now peeps, let’s bring ‘er home.

RUDO’s ROWDY RODDY PIPER RIOT REVIEW + First interaction of the night sees H20, the hardest working man on RIOT, meeting up with MJF, one the guys I’ll be watching the closest on RIOT. Great interaction of two LHW heels; so I guess it’s an all heel main event?! + Cort in a church?! Maybe he has seen the error of his - - - oh wait, nope, never mind. At least he trying. Great to see Pastor Peter up on the OCW TV screen too. Got a better insight into the character as well. MATCH: Mistico vs. Pastor Peter Good attires from both men tonight, really like em. The match was good, back and forth, a lot of counters hit, bit of a brawl on the outside. I’m digging the rookie class of this season, at least those that have stuck around, and those that are new too; Pastor and Mistico have defined characters that are different than the “vanilla midget” or “steroid head” guys that are often on TV, WWE or otherwise. Did notice a little bit of rushing from Pete, seemed like he was getting frustrated. Counter, counter, finish; Mistico picks up another win. + Another great, well written Minio RP. That referee done goofed, for real. Bout to get his ass beat. + Good to see Mistico writing. Like I said before, different character, coming out with the Spanish and English vocab. Nobody else doing that to that extent. I like the Lucha rep too. MATCH Ijitu Quartz vs. Ricky the Dragon I think Ricky has Bart Simpson-esque wardrobe, while Quartz buys a new outfit every week and even has an alter ego to go with it all. This was an intriguing match as I think these two are pretty evenly matched on the sticks. This match was varied, with strikes, power subs, outer ring brawl (powerbomb on the apron was dope), and high flying attacks (and attempts) from Ricky. Jeff Hardy Jawbreaker, 450, it’s all over. The Dragon wins. + LOL Kass. Monster Hunter dressing room would be dope, though. Foam ain’t gonna do shit against a TRUE MONSTER like KD. Gotta get yourself a real glaive, or a polearm, or a flail or some shit man! + Kat’s shown up and she’s pissed. Is she wanting a rematch with Heather, or did she just leave OCW? I can’t tell. Hopefully we do see a rematch, I’d like to see that. MATCH AC Cobra vs. Bunny M I would tune into a Bunny M match for that entrance/song alone hahaha. AC with an epic entrance of his own. That song was made for pro-wrestling haha. All the matches so far have been pretty varied, it’s good. In ring back and forth in this one, pretty even til about 3 quarters of way through when Bunny M started pulling away a lil. The outside dive from AC was great; FLYING SNAKE!!! Wait, do they exist? Cos fuck that noise. Then Bunny with his own dive, senton off the apron. AC’s neck is gonna be killing him after all those alley oops onto the ropes. Major reversal off the suplex and BM hits the fin for the win. + 3 Way Tag Team RP; had a lot of fun writing for this promo and have been enjoying working with this crew of dudes as well. Comment as you wish. + Minio you are beast, man. Great writer, long ass RP, but never boring, set the scene well and showed off a barbaric, desperate side of Minio’s character who is willing to torture an official to get what he wants, or perhaps what he ‘needs’? MATCH KD vs. Cort Marshall This one was going pretty evenly for the most part, Cort holding his own against the number one contender. When I first saw “7:20” on the timer I was thinking squash match but that’s not quite what happened. Cort was pissed with Kass coming in and ruining his shot to beat the number one contender (was pretty even before the end) and rightfully so; maybe he’ll get his shot at Kass at some point in the future. There’s still a couple weeks before Lution, Kass, I’m sure KD won’t take that lying down. + Cyborg RP in the desert with military and his dogs; King and King. Where’d he get a grenade launcher from? Oh, yea, Merica’, right. Looks like a possible Rust/Quartz/Cyborg Lution match? + Mugen the mad scientist; what has he created?! Will we see Mugen emerge from the entrance ramp with a head of golden, luscious locks?! + KD hitting Kass where it hurts. Very interested to see this match at Lution. Can KD end Kass’ reign? MATCH H20 & MJF vs. Kass and Ryu Pretty good tag match with some fun spots. I liked seeing Kass and Ryu enter as a team. So yeah, can someone please tell me who MJF’s handler is? Kthxbai. An all heel tag match lent itself to fuckery; attacking the non-legal man, double teaming the legal man in the ring, entering the ring to interrupt the match, flipping the bird to the opponent (how dare you Ryu!) and other heelness. Thought the match was over after Ryu hit the fin but H20 made the save. But he couldn’t save MJF from the sub. + Cort and the pastor working together? Can Pete really bring Cort into a new life of goodness and piety? Who knows? Also, where is Shepard? I wanna see more tag team action with those two. + H20 you’re a jerk! A bloody jerk I tells ya! What did MJF do to you? Was thinking Bobby might spring out for the save/hit H20 with the fin but I guess we’ll have to wait for their confrontation. All in all a good show, though I was expecting more RPs from guys seeing as Lution is around the corner. That being said, the build ups that did occur were great. MOTN for me was probably a tie between Quartz/Ricky and Main Event. Thanks to all who contributed and to those who put it together.

Cos I'm a shit and couldn't see the extra two pages, heres my footnotes on the last two pages: + The H20 / Bobby build up is one of the most slow boils in OCW, culminating for what seems like at least a couple months, and will surely be one of the best matches on the Lution card (if it does end up being the rematch). Great heel moment for H20 screw jobbing Bobby to get his title back and leaving him with a bleeding nose. I'm sure retribution is on Bobby's mind now. + KD fuckin went wild man. Kass came out to try and demean him and talk smack but the big man was having none of it. Uh-uh. The final moments of brutality were, I'm sure, what the fans have been wanting to see done to Kass for a while now. BAM.

RUDO’s REALLY GOOD RIOT REVIEW + MJF promo was solid af. Dudes character came out in full force. And I fuckin HATE him (good job being a heel!). + The Steve promo pumping up Lution was great. I like the character, very funny and dad-like. Will be watching this match with anticipation at Lution for sure. Please trade chinlocks for half the match kthxbai. MATCH M.J.F vs Charles Young Enjoyed this match though I did notice pin break-ups using L1 instead of down on the D-Pad, which to me, looks weird. Like, why are you just letting him up? I get it if you’re a heel and you’ve beaten the face to a fuckin pulp and you’re all like “you want some more you little shit?!” and you stop the pin and deliver some more boot to skull. But if you’re a face it looks odd. I don’t know what Charles Young is cos I’ve never seen a promo from him. I was hoping MJF would pull this one out on his debut (unless he’s another returning vet?) but alas he did not. I didn’t recognise the gamer tag for MJF; whoooooooo are you? + Cyborg/Quartz interaction was cool; it’s always refreshing to see cutscenes used on shows, not that writing alone doesn’t work, I guess it’s just I’m more of a visual person overall. + I can’t tell what Rust’s gimmick is anymore? Is he a joke character now? I always thought he was more of a brooding, asshole, but now I’m not sure. + H2O gathering the refs for a meeting and then BAM! One down. A trade is afoot with the two LHW rivals prize possessions. MATCH Bunny M vs. Ijitu Quartz ‘Mans Not Hot’ had me crackin up. Good pace in this one, back and forth and even throughout. It was Blood’s vs. Crips in this war. Unfortunately Quartz counter timing was just off at the end and Bunny hit the fin for the win. + Great old school style, no nonsense promo from Cort Marshall. Get in front of the camera, build up the tension, tell the people to tune in to the PPV, leave. As said earlier, this’ll be one I look forward to. + Valk makes a new friend. Hopefully her diss tracks are like that poem from 200 cos that was great. Valk is keeping up appearances and putting in work over the last while, good on you. + Telos being all an shit and then BAM! Hit’s em with the SWERVE! Interested to see where this man goes from here. MATCH AC Cobra vs. I.Q. Did Quartz double book himself? Can I make an alt attire and get two matches? :P Fan of AC. Superplex spot was dope. Cool little back and forth before AC seals it with the Game Over! + I’m really wanting to know who Heather’s “master” is. + Again, I’m really wanting to know who Heather’s “master” is. MATCH Womens Championship – Sentai Hare vs. Heather Angelo MOTN for sure. It was long but didn’t drag at all. Really even match up right down to the wire. I don’t know how you guys kick out on those tiny kickout meters, I can never do it haha, End in a draw? Setup for Lution? + Minio gets some sage words of wisdom from Master Mugen. One step closer to restoring the balance of the LHW division. + Telos you monster!!! Who’se going to step up and answer the challenge? + Massive build up to an obviously historically charged Lution match. Looking forward to seeing this one as it’s been building for a while now. Lution is shaping up to be an awesome card. MATCH Ryu vs. Bobby Matsumoto is a god damn star! Bobby was doing ok until about half way through and then it just sort of snowballed until the finish. I’m not sure how I feel about the “no shoes” look, it looks odd, even with kick pads over top. Grats to Ryu for toppling the number one contender. Surely he’s on the radar for a title shot soon?

I will also add that it was disappointing to not see RPs from some of the peeps who had matches on the card. This was a prime moment to get your stuff out there. At least everyone else made up for it.

Now that I’m back into the swing of things I have time to write a proper review for T200 so here it is: RUDO’s TURMOIL 200 TITTY TWISTING TAKEDOWN!!! + The show opens with a man whom I’ve never seen in action in an OCW (being a relatively new member); Cactus Gauge. It was cool to see the CAW as I’ve seen his name bandied about on Discord and the forums. This promo was long, or at least it felt that way, probably due to the almost 2 minute entrance videos for each character plus the reading time, but in saying that it was good to see these guys writing and interacting. Looking forward to the rematch that was hinted at. + CAPO! Handing the reins over to Gene? Hopefully she lives up to the one and only. MATCH: HIJO DE MISTICO vs BUTCHER BARNETT vs BENJI MOORE vs PASTOR PETE Mistico – dug the new digs, mask looks great, Me-he-co flag cape was dope, 100% more original looking than the previous edition. Good work man. Butcher Barnett – the attire is cool man, plus the creepy grindcore clown face paint would give people nightmares. In saying that I still can’t get behind that entrance. It just seems too, I dunno, “elegant” for a big scary man to be performing? Personally, I would be going with something more like Luke Harper or another intimidating guy with a little bit of a mental side to him. Benjamin Moore – already said this before but I love this CAW. Polished look, great entrance, music fits the gimmick. Thumbs up. Pastor Pete – great to see the debut of one of the newer rookies on Turmoil. I dug the entrance attire, though I would go with an all-white, almost Brother Love-eque attire like a TV Evangelist; at least that’s what I was picturing. The in-ring attire, though, looks more like a rough house biker. Again I would go with lighter colours like white mixed with something else. Just my opinion though. As for the match, not really a fan of commentary during entrances or the match, mainly because they reference WWE and it breaks the immersion. Noticed a lot of rushing attacks (at least 10) from Pastor Pete, not sure on the general consensus but I find them sort of cheap if used too much. I try and limit them to around 3 per match. Overall the match was great, I really enjoyed it. Benji had the upper hand for the most part until he was eventually eliminated. The ending was awesome and quick paced after the first elimination. I could see a feud between Mistico and Moore but also Butcher and Pastor Pete. + Wrex’s RP was great. His personality always shines through and is consistently obnoxious and ungracious. Could this be a clue as to what might happen later on the show? I’m pumped either way. + Flojo/Gene RP was crack up. Back and forth bitchyness with a sprinkling of sass. The “ESL” part had me lol’ing. + Cort/Shep/The Steve RP was fuckin gold. Love these characters. “The Shut” was my favourite piece of dialogue hahaha. Great stuff boys. + JEHST RP – Comment as you wish. + CJ / Gene RP – Great to see a promo from CJ touching on his rivalry with Cozz, one of the matches I’m most looking forward to watching. I felt a bit more personality shine through in this one which was great. Good job. MATCH Flojo vs. Aerith Well fuck me dead, this was a ripper. I honestly didn’t expect this match to be as good as it was, and that’s not a knock on either guy, it was just so damn good in my opinion. Back and forth like a motherfucker, weapon spots, back to back moves, back to back finisher counters, kickouts when you think it’s gonna end, all the way down to the wire. Was really rooting for Flojo to pick up the win here on the big stage but if this match is anything to go by, she’ll definitely be one to look out for on Turmoil from here on out. Also, fucking love the new Flojo look/entrance, really cool and fits her personality. + Valk/Cheryl RP – I thought this was great, really allowing these two to be in each others face and build anticipation for the match. That’s what a promo should do. Tinkerbell vs. Malificent; let’s go! + JackMo SpeakEasy – I always find JackMo does a good job of the whole “show don’t tell” thing in his RP’s, describing JackMo in a way that really brings the scene to life. Finer than 1999 Britney Spears got me lol’ing. + Flojo/Aerith post match RP – I think this one may have been put too far after the match, but hey, whatcha gonna do when Hulkamania runs wild on you? Great promo from Flojo, I’m sure after that banger of a match you’ll do just fine. Keep your chin up man. + Valmont SpeakEasy – a bit extra on top of the earlier promo with Cactus, building towards the Leonheart match. I’ve yet to see Leonheart so I’m looking forward to seeing the big bodied Valmont fight tonight to see what Leonheart can bring to the table against him. + Karissa Dawson promo – I haven’t seen a lot of her on Turmoil since joining but the new look is cool with the pink hair and also the new attitude. Need a bit of no nonsense brawlers in the Turmoil Womens division. Not sure who Dragana is so couldn’t pop for that but was a cool little segment with the cutscene and piledriver to shut the Queen of Old School up. + ShowBlitz RP – these guys have been all over the show so far, great work. They’re good heels too, I want Valk to crush them all hahaha. MATCH JackMo vs. Malu Great short match between these two Turmoil top dogs. Both got their shit in. Malu looking hefty. Man look he just gonna come in, smack a fool, then go for a surf to cool down. Enjoyed this one to break up the longer matches so far. + Leonheart RP – As said earlier, I’ve not seen Leonheart in OCW so this was a good little history lesson as well as a build to Lution. Heartfelt RP, looking forward to seeing him against DRAGO. + H2O in the house! And B-17? Great combo. Good to see RIOT guys put in for the show. Loved the interaction here; hilarious. MATCH Jack Rogue vs. Connor Rawson Decent match overall but I felt there was a significant lack of pin attempts in the early and mid match, even after high impact moves, which made it feel a little disjointed compared to a match you’d see on TV. Don’t forget guys, you can pin and release it at the 2 count by pressing down on the D-Pad to add that flavour to the match. Rawson picks up the win in this closely contested bout. + Ricky/Capo/Archer interaction – good little RP to set up the match. Always good to see Ricky write something cos he got the skills on the sticks. Keep writing man, even if only a short RP. Capo as always bringing the chuckles, and Archer staying true to his wealthy douchebag ways. MATCH Justin Jehst vs. CPT Alex Unfortunately for me I needed to have this match basically as soon as I had arrived home from the airport to get it done on time. Still feel very rusty and need more DM’s. Hats off to CPT Alex for being so accommodating with the whole time difference thing, I’m glad it worked out in the end. Couldn’t get a damn hold of this lanky fucker; your arms are too damn long! At least it wasn’t a Wrex 2.0 beating. Congrats to Alex. + Invictus RP – was waiting for the gang to pipe up. Ok so now I get why Aerith had a Trance shirt onl I have made the connection. Go me. Centerpiece of this RP was Karissa walking out on Invictus. Was it just a momentary fit or is she gone for good? + JEHST RP – comment as you will. MATCH Code Terror vs. Diamond Wood I don’t know what it is but I can’t buy Tay as a LHW. All these agile flippy moves just don’t look right on him, I dunno why. I would move to heavyweight and become a powerhouse. Just my opinion. As for the match, well, if it wasn’t obvious, there needed to be fill-ins for the challengers who decided not to show up or communicate at all to apologise or anything. I missed a match time once cos it was my bucks night and I got too drunk and woke up way too late but I at least apologised and rescheduled. Not acceptable really. As for the match itself, big ups to CJ and Capo for filling in and making the match happen at all. I think if they didn’t the tag division on Turmoil would’ve taken a huge hit. Code Terror came out looking strong, as they should. Random question, but what is the deal with tag team finishers? Is it possible to do them in an online match or would the rule be, once you’ve hit a legal finisher on someone, your “Tag Team Finisher” (ie. A designated corner or standing tag move) can be used to end the match? + Ashley Moore RP – short and to the point. Another addition to the Women’s roster which can only be good for the competition. MATCH Leonheart vs. Vincent Valmont Opportunity to see Leonheart for the first time. Decent match but could’ve ended, and should have ended, around the 15min mark but Valmont let him up. I don’t get that. Should’ve just pinned him. Anyway, Leonheart ended up with the win in the end so maybe Valmont learned his lesson haha. + Flojo/Valk interaction – someone needs to stand up to ShowBlitz, glad it’s these two. Go hard girls. Also, that poem was hilarious, Valk, hahaha. + Quartz sighting! Again, good to see a Riot guy pop up on the show and show some love to Turmoil. Quartz just being Quartz in this one. + Another great Wrex promo hyping up something with Austin beef. Also, Jim better have both eyes peeled at all times including sleepy time. + Hype for Main Event with B-17 & Gene. Like the rivalry within Invictus and really pumped to see those two go at it later in the show. B-17’s one of my fav’s on the brand, his character and the way he writes him is hilarious and endearing. You do you, boo. + Straight fighting words from CJ to Cozz; let’s see what happens in this brawl, up next!!! MATCH Cool to see street fight attire from both of these guys. Cozz’s was particularly both menacing and hilarious. Good street fight, doing away with most of the technical hoo-ha and bringing out weapons and such to take the fight to each other. What was that Rebirth thing? Ending spot was on point though it seems perhaps there was some trouble with the footage? Is that why it cut straight to the ladder spot? + Dragana/Johnny Law RP – good to see new faces arrive (well, new to me anyway) and Johnny seems to have some energy and charisma so I’ll be looking out for these two in the coming weeks for sure. + Bray is back? As a manager no less? This should be interesting... MATCH Valkyrie vs. Cheryl Stixx Great match overall although I’d be a little peeved if I was Valk. Some FPR breaks and dick moves by Cheryl (hovering, hitting a Sig off a bump) that I noticed throughout. Overall, fairly even until that top rope suplex turned Valk double red. Cool spots and the final pin glitch was actually kinda cool cos it made it look like Cheryl used the ropes to win. + Mez Murdock ain’t fuggin’ around, Tobin! Don’t get got before Lution! + Oh, ho, ho I think Showblitz have finally got some competition to keep the numbers even. They thrive on getting their victims alone but now they’re beginning to be matched. Could this be the shifting of the tides in the Women’s division? + Man, Wrex is all over this show! Another great RP with Gene, who is also ALL OVER THIS SHOW. Turmoil is turning up tonight! MATCH Pride Title – Capo vs. Ricky vs. Archer Decent match, triple threats can get quite messy but this one wasn’t too bad. A few missed spots, Archer was lucky not to get put through that ladder by Ricky, but ended up getting a Joey Mercury style face to ladder moment when he tried it on Capo. Grats to Archer, but what the hell Capo? Hahaha. Standing around like “da fuck, what button pushes the ladder?...Guys? GUYS?!” + Apparently Colby Young thinks he’s gonna come in and be “the wrestler” here on Turmoil...haaaaave you met Irving? He may have something to say about being the most pure athlete on Turmoil. + Hilarious follow on from the match, turns out I was right, Archer done got Joey Mercury’d by that ladder. If he comes out next week in a basketball facemask or somthing I’m gonna mark out. + The Steve/Cort had a good ol’ father/son style bonding moment; warms the heart it does. I actually thought their match was great, and you’re right Cort, gosh darnit! Don’t need no flips and weapon spots to have a good match! MATCH CCW Title – B-17 vs. Austin Lee Austin?! Trying to take a page out of B-17’s book perhaps? Not sure how I feel about that attire on you hahaha. At first I saw 35mins and was like “oh man this is gonna be a slog”, but the match didn’t disappoint at all. The catch finisher on the outside, announcer table spot, superplex through the table on the outside, so good! B-17 with that Bingo Punch out of Nowhere! Then Wrex coming out to greet him for his cash in, WTF?! Even their brief fight was great. Then B-17 rejects Wrex’s moment of glory by sealing it with another Bingo Punch. I think it’s one of the most deadly moves on Turmoil at the moment. MOTN for me was a tie between Flojo/Aerith and the Main Event. Overall a great show, hats off to all involved and Jay for putting all of it together, what a mammoth job.

So I've been away on a conference for a week and now I'm heading back in NZ due to some RL stuff but I thought I should chime in with my thoughts. Too much to cover and read/watched too long ago to give a full review but this was a great show overall and congrats/kudos to everyone who contributed to the Rp's and matches. Things I remember being good were Kass/Austin, H20 being everywhere, Capo being everywhere, Main Event was awesome and surprising, B-17 beating Malu to go on to face Austin again. Overall a great show and good to see a bunch of other peeps getting in some words on the thread here too.

The premise was good but the actual RP could do with a grammar and spell check. I did notice you are from Germany so I'm guessing English isn't your first language. If anything I would advise against writing "u" instead of "you" as it just looks lazy. Great CAW though, can't wait to see her in the ring.

I'm out here in the middle of the outback on a work conference, got some time to myself and thought I'd chuck up my usual show review. So without further adeu... JEHST’S TURMOIL 198 ACHEY BREAKY HEART HOEDOWN + Austin has me super intrigued as to whether his Face speeches to the crowd on previous Turmoil episodes are truly genuine or if he is putting it on for some ulterior motive. Perhaps, if he keeps making mistakes with his microphone, the crowd may turn on him. + The CAW still freaks me out, but Captain Alex’s promo was really good. Built a framework around his match with Valmont; Vincent’s weaknesses and how he’ll overcome them. That mixed with a little comedy was a great segment. MATCH CPT Alex vs. Vincent Valmont There was a point I thought Valmont was gonna run away with this one but Alex managed to claw back. The counter on the outside that sent CPT red was a cool spot. This was two of the biggest, if not the biggest, guys on Turmoil, which is dominated by LHW’s and CW’s. The F-5 is dangerous, Valmont is looking good since his return, even with a close loss to Irving. + Aerith promo was met by chants from me of “WHO-ARE-YOU? WHO-ARE-YOU?” I feel like I’ve heard the name before on the forums or something but can’t quite pick it, so for me this was a little weird but hey. + Danny is back!! About time! I like the Boyd character as he has flair and, shock horror, “character”. There are a lot of vanilla midgets I can’t get behind (not necessarily in OCW but wrestling in general) so it’s good to see the man back. Let’s go Boyd! MATCH Moore vs. Boyd Fuck yeah, Boyd is back! Great entrance for the CAW. Moore is also one of my up and coming CAW’s to watch, swag and style. I thought Boyd was gonna be in charge from the get go going by his previous matches but Moore took it to him for the majority of the match. In the end it was neck and neck until Boyd hit the finish. Welcome back. + Good to see Frankie and Diamond on the RP’s cos they deliver when they write. Setting up some “tag title” stuff in this one with Code Terror was good to see, and the tag scene on Turmoil is starting to heat up. + Archer being Archer was great, like this character as well. All about the PR and dollars. The ending had me blue balling hard though; who is the new Invictus member dammit?! + Valkyrie is back! It’s clear she still doesn’t know who kidnapped her as there was no proof of ShowBlitz’ involvement so that means the sucker puncher is still at large! MATCH Valkyrie vs. Gene There seems to be a lot of comebacks on this show. Didn’t think Valk was going to overcome the colour but came back with that walk up DDT. Now go clean yourself up, Valk, you dirty. + Words hurt, Wrex, words hurt. Jim seems to like bothering Wrex haha, good little promo to set up the match with Malu. Wrex has been dominating his opponents on his way to the finals and he deserves to have people watching his path to the title. MATCH 4 Way LHW Match I actually really enjoyed seeing these 4 go at it. Super fast paced as you would expect from these LHW guys. Rogue was all over this match, really went hard. CJ got his shit in too. I’ve told Cozz in a DM but I like the attire. Great match overall and Cozz sneaking in with the finish on CJ keeps their feud/angle interesting as well. + Harper clip was weird. I mean I get it, I like the chilling in the whip shit but it went way too long I skipped ahead a few times to see if anything else happened apart from just driving around. Then he’s randomly backstage doing press ups? I mean I dig the CAW but this segment confused me a little. + Is Dominic an alt? I haven’t seen an app for him. Either way he’s seeming very Jersey Shore to me at this point. The new Frankie? *shudders* let’s hope not haha. + Fuck yes. SJW Cort angle is great. The entrance with the wig etc was hilarious. And then his interaction with The Steve was a surprise but helped build their match at 500 which was definitely a bonus. Looking forward to this match even more now as I haven’t seen The Steve in action before either. MATCH B-17 vs. Wrex MOTN for me. Great music choices for during the match. Pretty close the whole way through, B definitely did better than I did against Wrex hahaha. The chair spot was great, enjoyed Wrex resorting to weaponry to win. Heels take note. That finisher steal and then the kick out on that tiny bit of meter was insane. B-17 hits his own and it’s over.

To the comments about people talking about favoritism etc, if you aren't putting in work with decent RPs or content, matches, discussion contribution etc, like others have said, that's on you. Don't blame others for your laziness. As for the poll, no skin off my back. I didn't join OCW to take part in popularity contests, but it's always nice to be recognized for the work you put in. Jehst is a little goofy and eccentric so I know not everyone is gonna like him as a character and that's fine. In closing, stop whining about not getting a shot, put work in and keep chugging along.

RUDO's TURMOIL TURN DOWN FOR WHAT TAKEDOWN + Champions Address: Really enjoying Austin at the top of Turmoil. If he beats the winner of RtG tourney I’ll be happy cos I’ll know we got a great champ at the top. Benji vs. Henry Great match, kept the pace fairly consistent and enough back and forth to keep it interesting. I liked Moore’s swagger in his entrance. I did notice Moore used Jimmy’s finisher as a regular move which I would say you should probably remove that and switch it out, that’s what I would do anyway. If I see someone using a finisher I have as a regular move I swap it out of my moveset. Same with particular signatures but there’s only so many moves in the game so not as crucial. Jimmy picked up a much needed win after two consecutive losses, congrats. + Capo setting up the movie shieeet. Sign me up. + Enjoyed JackMo’s promo in the bar, hilarious. + The Valkyrie mystery continues *cue X-Files music* + Pastor Peter promo debut; good character building/revealing. Will be great to witness his in-ring debut and see what he looks like/what his heavenly moveset contains. Ricky vs. Cap I think a lot has already been said about this one but yeah, could’ve ended quite soon after the 13min mark. Ricky had a couple of FIN’s I believe, should’ve and could’ve attempted to end it sooner. Understand there were time restraints for a redo so at least ya’ll know for next time. That Cap CAW is freaky bro, seriously. Dude look like an NBA centre and Zangief had a love child. Dude look like the Slim Jim guy got stretched out, slapped on a moustache an givin’ a haircut. Dude look like Tony Robbins caught pneumonia and still made the Olympic wrestling team. Damn. + B-17 naked never gets old. I’m loving the free spirit/80’s gimmick/feel B’s had recently. Very different, stands out, it’s fun to read and watch in matches as well. Good job man. JackMo vs. Tekhanu Jr. Great match for the most part, good back and forth. I really like Tekhanu’s style and “American Luchadore” gimmick, something different. Noticed a couple of quick strikes (or “crapples”) after Tekhanu got a reversal off; not against the rules but I’d say it’s a dick move. Once again the Jackhammer puts another victim out of their misery. Wrex vs. Jehst Had this match the day after I got back from my honeymoon and the ring rust showed. Holy fuck. I don’t even think I had a chance to think in this match it was so fast paced. Couldn’t capitalise on my reversals and also used them at inopportune times, mostly out of panic I think. Is 2 and a half minutes a record? Congrats to Wrex. Valmont vs. Irving Having seen previous clips of Valmont the CAW that appeared on the entrance ramp when the music hit was not what I was expecting. Firstly, wearing Brock Lesnars official shorts was incredibly off putting as it took me out of the OCW Universe and dragged me towards WWE. If you want custom logos for your char let me know so you can ditch those Brock one’s, tag on some generic Samoa Joe style shorts and make ‘em black, and tack on the custom logo to make them your own. Not sure how I feel about the the Finn Balor neck paint. As for the match, I enjoyed seeing a battle of two long tenured OCW stars, and always look forward to seeing Irving throw down some shoot style. This was power grappler vs. Technical brawler, two of my favourite styles to put against each other and this one was a great watch. + Seems like Mugen and Ryu will be competing for the artifacts in a cosmic, intergalactic power race. Malu vs. Trance This one was MOTN for me. Malu had Trance against the ropes until he ran out of reversals about mid way through and Trance coloured him up to even it out. Last half of the match was reversal for reversal, back and forth, great competition until the powerslam ended it.

RUDO's QUICK NOTE RIOT WRAP UP + H20 again all over this show, shout out to you man, keep up the hard work. +Valk vs. Riley - Valk's entrance is evolving nicely, the icey ramp is great. Maybe add some dark lighting with blue tinge to make the mood fit the music too, would be epic. As for the match, I thought for sure Valkyrie would take it out up until a minute to go when she got a red body part. A lot of running from Riley after Valk turned double orange I noticed. + Rust's new gimmick as a sneaker fiend? + Epic Mugen storytime telling long forgotten tales of OCW lore. Where will the next artifact be taken from? + AWOL, yes! Cort as always with the hilarious promo banter. Good build up for the 500 match. + Bryson Blaze vs. Natoli Joe - Is Bryson a heavyweight or does he just look big next to Joe? If he is a heavy he's using some weird moves for a heavyweight, more suited to LHW/CW's (hurricanrana's/flippy moves). Has Bryson RP'd? Never seen him on a show or heard him in the Discord. Either way, it's Joe who is victorious. + Kass making his thoughts clear. Where are MY #GothThots? + AC Cobra you funny fuck. Loved these RP's. + Valkyrie mystery! Will CJ get to the bottom of this?! Only time will tell... + Scaar with some char. development, good to see some RP's from the dude. TAKE ME TO THE DARK REALLLMMMM BAY BAY!!! + Quartz picking up his win to forget his loss, great match, right down to the wire in the final minute. + Cort gonna become an SJW through this process with Sensation? Imagine Cort coming out following week with dreadlocks and an ANTIFA shirt. + Capo holding it down in the street against some punk ass bitches. THEY DON KNO DE WAE!!! Suplex, bitch! + Trance vs. Jackman - is the missing 'O' in Code and Terror a graphical glitch or a super easy 'code' to be broken? I feel like there should be a graphic there, like a clock to replace the 'O' in both words. It was looking like Jackman wouldn't even colour Trance. Last 5mins were really good and had me on edge. Gotta hand it to Jackman, Trance had to hit everything but the kitchen sink to finally put him away. + Minio with the pump up for 500. One of the matches I'm looking forward to the most to be honest. Their most recent bout was epic so I'm expecting great things. + Quartz layed out? Is someone just running around king hit sucker punching OCW superstars tonight? + Mugen vs. Kass - MOTN for me for sure, thought Mugen was gonna pull it out at the end until he got hit with The Turn! Great match. Overall a really good show. Plots thicken, good build ups, epic down to the wire matches; big ups to all.
