Finally back into the swing of things so here's my quick notes for RtG: + Opening match was solid AF as the kids would say these days. Good to see JackMo back into the spotlight. Looking forward to seeing where his character goes as I didn't see much of him before he left previously. + O'Donnell vs. B-17: Good showing from CJ, thought it may have got closer near the end but good job keeping up with one of Turmoils best. + LIGERMASK & BUNNY M vs AWOL : Finally Shep has the USA gears on! TAG TEAM COLOURS! One of my fav matches of the PPV, great action, pity Cort & Shep couldn't pick up the titles they gave up to earn back but great showing. Congrats to the new champs! + KATHERINE vs SENTAI HARE : Possibly my favourite match of the night. Thought Kat might take it out at the end but Sentai held on and hit the finish for the win. + Malu vs. Capo : it's easy to see why Malu/Nate is regarded as one of the best in the game with this beatdown. Capo with the new getup; don't know how I feel about it yet but I'm sure I'll warm to "wrestler" Capo over time. + Ricky vs. Austin Lee : Ricky really gave #Marvelous a run for his money in this one. Really good match, tied fav with the Womens Title match. + H20 vs. Blackbeard : Good match but seemed like it was on a slowed down playback which kinda put me off the overall match. Congrats on retaining H20. + SEAN McGEE vs KASSIDY HAYES : Great match, and everyone has commented on it but HOLY FUCK that cell finish was a thing of beauty! Grats, Kass on living up to the Big Match Kass name. As for the RP's, I thought everyone who wrote did a great job of either ending/beginning something new, or giving some worthwhile character development to the show (ala Cozz, who I want to keep an eye on now that he's going loopy). The arena was dope, shout out to whoever designed/made it. Can't wait for 500/200/Lution now!

Because I live in the future I watched this when it was April 2nd so it didn't click it til the end haha.

Good podcast. I agree the communication thing is huge, especially playing across timezones and with time limits to submit content. I've been lucky enough not to have worked with anyone who has been a chore to try and get stuff done. -
Hi team, bout to get up and take a ferry to an island but before I go, here's my quick thoughts. Watched the show last night in bed and it was a great length I felt, like, didn't seem too long or drag on. Pugh vs. Blackbeard was such a good match! The ending was epic! Shout out to H20, dude was all over this show, like a champion should be. Shout out to Kass' beard. Capo and Mickey RP had me cracking up. Mo' Cream = holy shit, maybe jumped straight to my top 5 CAWs lol. I like characters if you couldn't tell. Tag match was fire as well, but I was highly disappointed there was no camo/USA attire for Shepard. All black everything is boring brah. Heaps of build up to not only R2G but 500 as well.

Stuck in traffic on way to the honeymoon spot so time for a little comment of stuff I can remember from reading the show this morning. Capo showing up with a bunch of RPs again, keeping that work rate up I'd hard, so shout out to Capo. Benjamin vs. Irving = Irving is one of my favorite CAWs in the fed, I mark out for shoot style in real life (MMA fan) with heaps of subs, etc. Tried to give Jehst a bunch originally but it didn't really fit his more goofy, eccentric persona. Match was good back n forth, good to see Benjamin too, like the look. Wrex back with his bitter buzz. Words for the interim champ and everyone in the tournament. Another Flojo loss, but you are definitely improving. Chin up and keep going. Like the CAW but not sold on the Becky Lynch entrance throwing up the horns, seems like too much of a "wholesome" character (or at least I thought that's what her gimmick was?) to be walking the lefthand path. Matsumoto you are a maniac and I love it. The Betterness lives on! Really cool Invictus RP, getting to see everyones personalities shine through. And having not been around when Trance was active previously its cool to match a personality to the CAW. Our Triple threat went a little shorter than I would have liked. I don't know why but I seemed to stay down for a hell of a long time from what seemed like a minor move but ah well. Valk vs. Riley segment was cool, good to see character development from both of these guys. I dig the Valkyrie gimmick throwing in mythology (cos I'm a nerd) references. Riley is giving me a slightly less chaotic, more in control Harley Quinn vibe. Sidenote: these roadworks on the motorway are killing me, hopefully they end soon. I've liked Tekhanu Jr's work so far, will be good to see him in action. AMERICAN LUCHADORE. JackMo one crazy bastard. Does OCW not do background checks on their employees? Terror vs Diamond = decent match this one. Can't remember the match too well at the moment but I think Tays entrance was touched on. I don't know what your gimmick is. If it is "terror" then you need a more menacing entrance, dark lighting, heavy slow music. I dunno. I think if Code Terror had Jackman as the slightly mental mouthpiece and Tay as the frightening muscle guy it'd work well. But hey, that's just, like, my opinion man. Wonder if I'll end up on Jimmy's wee list? Something brewing between JackMo and Capo? Good banter between these two. Invictus vs. CozzJ O'Donnell = enjoyed the match, quite back and forth with some timely tags and tag cutoffs. Excited about where all 4 of these characters will go the rest of the season too. Big ups. Again, Ryu, you are an evil genius. I don't know if the world is ready for Ryu Dupree. Austin cementing his spot at the top with a true Champs entrance. Laying down his words to the crowd. Will he continue his title reign post 200? Only time will tell. Main Event was really good, back and forth, not too long, heaps of power moves, suplex's, strikes; my kind of style. Was super close at the end. Makes me look forward to this tournament as these two may face off again.

Yeah I agree I definitely could have done more. It's all a learning process for me at this point. This was my first singles match since my debut and I don't really get a lot of DM's in so I'm only going to get better from here.

RUDO’s RIOT BREAKDOWN – STUFF I CAN BE BOTHERED COMMENTING ON + Jett’s promo was surprising, in a good way. Blew me away honestly. Just that raw anger came through perfectly, it made me want to see his match, which is exactly what a promo is supposed to do. Plus he dunked on Cozz after that which gave it more weight. Good job. + KD, was your promo funny as hell? YUP. + Quartz punished Jookie in the last part of this match. I missed the early finisher but I suppose he got what he deserved it that was the case haha. + Cozz going mental, confirmed. Stay away from him, CJ! + MOTN – CJ O’Donnell vs. Capo: Holy fuck, this match had me on the edge of my seat at the end, legit popping and marking out with each close call. Capo, did you have your updated moveset in this match? If so it works way better, CAW looks good too. Shout out to CJ for hanging in there at the end and putting it away. + Bobbio Minio’s promos are great, he just puts out the idea he’s getting across and that’s all; no filler or rambling. Strong words here, let’s see how Bobby does against H20. + Another fucking great promo. Cort Marshall, you gem! Unloading frustration like Jett did earlier on the show. They say the best promo work comes from real emotion and that came through here. And Shepard; if you don’t come out for your first tag match with Cort in full American attire I will be disappointed. Good on you, Cort, for relinquishing the tag belts to earn them back. + Runner Up MOTN – This match was really fucking good too. And shout out to Minio for pulling out the win, this shakes up the LHW scene. + Is Mugen going to infuse himself with Dupree’s power by implanting a single strand of Kneesus Christ’s golden locks into his own head???!!!! + Stigglitz vs. Hare – another upset win with Stigglitz going over the current champion. Possible challenger for the title in the near future? Overall a great show, well done everyone.

It's OK, you guys can break your necks. Just make sure you do it inside the ring so I can roll one of you up.

The Desk Ep: 139 - Keeping It Moving
Justin Jehst replied to Mr.Sensation's topic in OCW The Magazine
Really interesting podcast. As for the comments on the Jehst CAW, I agree the look doesn't match, which is why I have something cooking for turmoil 200 When I first came in I kind of rushed my CAW because I just wanted to get started in OCW, so now I've had time to let my gimmick evolve through just writing RPs, I think my new attire etc should fit a lot better. -
Had no idea. Well, I guess since you've been fired, it looks like that spot is free to be taken ;)
-
Favourite matches were Archer/CJ and Henry/Rogue, although I did think Rogue needed a CAW makeover. As per his post above that solves that mystery. Excited to see what the new belt will look like. What is happening to Cozz? He gonna go mental or something? Invictus with some strong fighting words, and two of them will face off to be the Interim Champ. Good choices Mr. Sensation. Good to see a few segments from some of the newer peeps, keep writing. Capo starting a movie studio without asking Hollywoods own Justin Jehst to be a part of it?! HOW DARE YOU?! That Main Event match/RP combo was awesome. RICKYYYYYYY!!! Was cool to see the Young Drakes at the end but I was rooting for Capo to over come the odds there. Great show everyone!
-
Just got through the whole show here in the Upside Down. Great episode of RIOT tonight, heaps going on and a few really good matches (my fav babe Roxy Rose being in one of them). Shout out to H20/Liger and Kass/Tobin as well, really enjoyed the matches. Ricky/Draven was pretty decent too. Lots of words for those no longer with us, Minio and KD in particular letting rip. Love that shoot style promo. KD video had me cracking up. Great first outing from Quartz; lets see where he goes from here. I see Bryson Blaze got the editing treatment haha - who is that? Rust and Jookie continues to heat up despite feeling like it should have ended at CG, but these two are keeping it fresh with the tag team angle. SENTAI HARE ANIMAYUUUUUUU - Please link up with Masked Rider in a future episode, just for my enjoyment. And maybe the green Beetleborg. As I said, all in all a great episode; solid matches throughout, great storytelling. Shout out to those putting in work, both in RP's and putting the show together.

FINALLY, Justin Jehst HAS COME BACK to the CERTIFIED GREATNESS THREAD! 5 pages in Microsoft Word later, holy fuck... You can tell I was getting over it by the end haha, from now on only quick reviews to save my soul. RUDO’s QUICK NOTE CERTIFIED GREATNESS CLOSE UP + The show kicks off with the enigmatic Blackbeard and his new stable “The Account” who are all female. Interesting concept for sure, and I’m a fan of both Blackbeard and Billy Bones in particular; she looks like some of the girls I used to date ;) . Good build up for the match on the card, plus a teaser for a potential ‘Lution match; definitely one rivalry I’ll be following. MATCH: Vincent Winters vs. Blackbeard Thoroughly enjoyed this match from the get go. The build up and added pressure on Blackbeard to pull out the win made it feel like there was really something on the line here. The action was well paced and varied and didn’t drag on for too long. Blackbeard picked up the hard fought win in the end, propelling him towards an eventual confrontation with Lucas Crowe. + Eerie and Anna RP; great showing of character and personality between these two rough-around-the-edges bitches. They are not fugging around here. Let’s see how Eerie fares in the triple threat. CHEA! + An RP brought to you by Invictus Industries. Archer and Lee banter is always entertaining. Nothing was resolved for the rights to Invictus Industries even after running through a plethora of ideas. And a minion got slapped out of their seat by Blaine, so all in all a great promo. + Creepy ass Heather Angelo promo. Roma Downey seen this shit; this bitch ain’t getting touched by an angel any time soon. She surrendering her soul to the devil, to the demons who are spawned from the Abyss! + Clip of some pimps talking. I don’t get it, maybe it’s some inside historical reference? I’ve seen these a few times on shows but I don’t get it; some1 plz explain 2 me. + RP from yours truly. I leave alone. I dun no de wae. MATCH: Heather Angelo vs Eerie Sunshine vs Queen Mab Eerie Sunshine a bad bitch. Heather Angelo a freaky bitch. Queen Mab a ??? bitch. I wanna see more Queen Mab promo’s to see what her deal is, the entrance clip left me wondering. As for the match, solid showing from everyone, health stayed even throughout. Got the feeling Angelo and Eerie just wanted to beat the snot out of each other. Heather’s Orange Crush finisher is fucking brutal. When everyone was double red near the end it was like every pin could end it. Mab picks up the win via cheeky roll up. + Kass and Ryu back at it again with the white Vans...I mean the RP’s. Hilarious once again with the Hulk figure shit. I had a huge wrestling figure collection when I was younger so I popped for that. + Strong words from Jookie. Not much to say except we’re gonna see how this blood feud gets settled later in the card. + Strong words AND actions from Dennis/Madison in regards to their position on Turmoil, the title, and huge disrespect to RD Money by defacing his statue. RD Money gonna wanna land a few king hits in this match to get his own back. MATCH: Rust Cohle vs. Jookie Marley I’ll mirror the sentiment this match has already received in that it went way too long. It could have ended a lot earlier with Jookie winning and been a really good match. Apart from the length it was great up until about the 20minute mark and then began to drag on. + Short set up RP for the Clark Effect with H20 and Tibby; we’ll see how this unfolds later. + The Trio of B-17/Ding/CJ lay out their plan of attack...well...B-17 attempts to explain a complicated football-esque playbook plan before being set straight by Ding; fight the bastards! YEA DADDEH! MATCH: Ding/B-17/CJ vs. Seb and Code Terror Digging Bingo’s attire as of late. The tights, top combo with the logos and designs = thumbs up from me. Also, Code Terror’s matching attire was good to see, look more like a team. Been a while since I’ve seen them come out together. Seriously boys, just go full psychological horror gimmick; with that entrance you can pull it off. The match was fucking chaos; good chaos, fun chaos. Was really awesome use of camera angles, multiple people recording is such a good idea for multi man matches with 6 people. Some awesome spots including a 180 degree elbow drop to the outside by B-17, which I’m assuming was an animation glitch but damn it looked cool. Down to Tay at the end against two of Turmoils top guys, held his own until getting pinned. Really good match. + Another build up promo for the LHW title match; lots on the line for both guys though Tibby has more to lose in this one. + Mark out moment with Kass and Ryu playing with the action figures again. Straight up nostalgia for me when I was young and had a container full of wrestling figures. My top guys were NWO B&W Hogan, Stone Cold, and Edge. + Irving RP; really well written in that it makes me believe he just wants to hurt Ricky. It doesn’t even seem to be personal, he just wants to hurt someone and Ricky is the unlucky soul. Really enjoying this character as the MMA-esque, no nonsense, scrapper. MATCH: Irving vs. Ricky This match was really good. Doesn’t bother me if people claim the ending was ‘fixed’ it was entertaining to watch the underdog get beat up, come back, get beat up again and eventually come out on top. + Man these dudes putting in WORK! Shout out to Tiberius and H20 for putting in around 10 RP’s. Give me this match NAOW. MATCH: Katherine vs Sophia (Womens Title) Really good match. Lots of hardcore spots for a hardcore match; tables, ladders, and chairs. Despite the controversy surrounding the ending the rest of the match was entertaining to watch for sure. Hopefully, now, under new light, the Womens Division can become something new and exciting/re-invigorated. + Ricky talks about his win over Irving and the Young Drakes head off to celebrate with a couple of beersies at the Roadhouse. MATCH: Dennis vs. Perfect Circle Knowing what we know now this match is tainted for me (viewed it before things came to light). I thought each match was really competitive in terms of body colour damage before Dennis got the pins on each guy. Hopefully these guys can come back for more matches at the top of the card because they all have the look and talent on the sticks to be there. + Cort and Ed announce the details for the tag tournament. Been a while since the show so I think the polls have closed for entry. Looking forward to seeing what happens with this and the Riot Tag Team scene. MATCH: Tiberius vs. H20 (LHW Title) Really great match exhibiting just what the LHW division should be about; springboards, top rope, technical moves, reversals, and athletic strikes. With all the build up to this match it was one I was glued to. In the end the torch was passed to H20; congrats man, hopefully you can do the title proud. + Invictus RP; B-17 and Lee, will the friendship be repaired? And who was on the other end of that phone call with Lee? + In ring contract signing with two of OCW’s legends. Excited to see what these two bring to Lution this year. MATCH: CHAMBER FOR OCW TITLE Pugh looking very Y2J-esque; dig it a hell of a lot. Massive match but there were definitely a lot of cool spots to keep things fresh throughout. I was rooting for Pugh at the end there but alas it was not meant to be. Looking forward to seeing what Kass’ next challenge will be to defend the belt.

RUDO’s TURMOIL QUICK NOTE BREAKDOWN + Malu lays out the plan for Turmoil from here on out, gonna be an interesting few weeks to come for sure, but I know Turmoil as a collection of handlers will be able to pick up the work and make the blue show a better product. MATCH: James H. North vs. Capo Finally thought I was going to get to see another new rookie debut, once again Mr. North has a no-show. Like I said last time, hopefully for legit reasons. Seb fighting was a plus though as these two put on a very good match. Again, Capo is showing improvement in his overall game. Capo wins by way of DQ and Seb just keeps beating the crap outta him with that bat, holy hell! Good story driven match. I absolutely have no problem with story driven matches, even in a comp fed (unless it’s for a title). Good work by these two. MATCH: Chaz Hendrix vs. Fudo Nishimura Good first showing from Fudo, always interesting to see new Rookie’s movesets and character personality shine in the ring. Not sure if Fudo knows he’s using Mugen’s entrance? Also, as a Rookie the pyro is probably a bit much (I know I’m saving it til I graduate at least). Chaz was a good first challenge for Fudo and was not enough of one as Fudo was able to put him away with the Trouble in Paradise (isn’t that somebody’s FIN already/claimed?). + Wrex is back being his cunty self, picking on ol’ Jim Black. Been a while, looking forward to seeing him back in a Turmoil ring later on. MATCH: Jehst & Bates vs. Diamond High Fuck me, I hate tag matches sometimes. I had to edit this a bit to make it work and it still wasn’t polished enough really so I do apologise, I was getting ready to go away for this past weekend and IRL got my time. In regards to the match, I didn’t find it too bad although Bates seemed to be the second coming of MJ. I was trying not to moonwalk as much in this one. Gotta say though, Diamond High are a pretty good team in terms of fluid tags and their timing, just need RP’s dammit. Gotta agree with Sensation on Frankie’s flipping Zig Zag, no idea how he pulled that off haha. + Is Capo heading towards an ‘insane’ gimmick? FIND OUT NEXT WEEK ON TRUMOIL!!! Rest up kid, get some Vitamin C and a comfy bed. MATCH: Cozz vs. CJ First time seeing Cozz. His entrance was a little disjointed in parts but no biggy. The match was really pretty good overall, particularly enjoyed the spot where CJ missed the dive, then Cozz came out with the same idea and hit it. Good show of LHW talent on Turmoil. Ending had me thinking this could be a feud in the making? SHAKE HANDS YOU ASSHOLE + Cheryl and crew enjoying a few wines before being interrupted by a Troy. NDA, what’s inside?! + New #Invictus womens tag team? I like the names they came up with. Would be interesting to see these two take on Showblitz to test their team work. MATCH: Cheryl Stixx vs. Haley Nichols Well, Haley got her wish to get booked, facing off with one of the premiere Bombshells on Turmoil. Cheryl’s kicks are brutal. This turned into a bloody brawl on the outside with a double count out, Cheryl continuing to put the beat down on Haley. I’m sure Nichols will want revenge and a rematch to prove herself. Then Showblitz come full force to put more of a beat down on Haley. Revenge match please! MATCH: Wrex vs. Big Ed vs. Irving vs. B-17 Multi-mans generally are just a messy style of match, especially if not elimination rules. 4 of the top guys in the Main Event (minus 1 now) and I see them carrying this division into the future. Really a fan of Irving; entrance, moveset, attitude, all spot on as a character. Also, can’t remember if I’ve said it before but I’m high on B-17’s attire change, glad he dropped the Ziggler jacket and came with his own brand of Living Colour get up. Really loved the ending to this one with the Invictus re-union beating down the Big dumb dumb and coming together in the middle of the ring. Really, really cool moment. + Sensation with the McMahon strut hahaha, so good. First time seeing Our Hero on a TV segment so was a bit of a treat. Great segment bringing closure and an announcement of a new era to come in the weeks to follow. All in all a great show, some really cool, defining moments for sure. Excited for the next state in Turmoils future.

I know it's hella late but I just got back from a weekend away last night and been catching up on all the shows. Certified Greatness review to come too. RUDO’s RIOT QUICK NOTE BREAKDOWN After doing the CG breakdown I’m no longer going to review every single part of the show. I’ll do match reviews and plug in any RP’s I thought were significant or I liked, etc. Full reviews just take way too much time to put together, especially for a PPV. + The show started off with those involved in the controversial angle with the Womens title; this RP gave way to a new direction for the angle and will hopefully solve the dispute and get the division shook up a bit. MATCH: Billy Bones vs. Sasha Banks Billy is just a badass looking chick, like, I’d want her on my side in a fight. There was a moment where I thought Rose wasn’t gonna even get a single yellow on Billy but by the end of the match it was down to the wire. Nice match and another win for Bones. + Rust vs. Jookie is still alive. Interesting to see how this impromptu tag team will fare in the invitational. MATCH: AC Cobra vs. Masuku Masuku look like he gonna put a Japanese curse on your ass if you cross him. Or he’s boys with the girl from The Ring and the kids from The Grudge or some shit. AC’s entrance was a nice touch, made it look like he was pumped to finally be back in an OCW ring. These two fought all over the place before AC was able to pull out his top rope finish for the win. + Tobin Frost with a little history lesson. Always appreciate knowledge of past OCW events, bit of a lore buff. Let’s see how Tobin live up to his message from here out. + Ijitu’s arrival to the arena didn’t quite go as planned it would seem. Looking forward to seeing his first in ring appearance. MATCH: Dimsmore vs. Tyson Wagner Battle of two big guys. Lots of high impact slams, strikes, and suplex’s. In a world where reversals are often used one after the other until someone has none left (I’m guilty of this myself), I felt like these two left their’s for key moments and it just made the match flow a lot better. Something I’m going to try and include in my matches going forward. My money was on Dimsmore but Tyson got the sneaky Powerbomb off to pin the B20 member. + Ayyyyyye, Capo tryna get with Stacy haha. Good on you. Also, if you got any auditions going for the film company, Jehst is looking for a leading man role ;) + Tag Champs have their challengers it would seem. Will Rust and Jookie put their rivalry aside to give themselves a chance to be champions in OCW? + Sean McGee goin on his anti-Sensation rant; seems to be an ongoing occurrence. Wouldn’t want to be in the firing line of that dumbbell. MATCH: Ryu Matsumoto vs. Mugen – Extreme Rules KENDO STICK BATTLE! Alley-Oop table smash was friggin sweet, same with the top rope elbow drop/steel chair combo. Lots of great spots overall to be honest, match of the night for me. Mugen taps to the Rear Naked Choke after a huge battle. + I really wish this was a work – the first title I wanted to aim for was the Light Heavyweight title (not knowing it was an Xbox exclusive at the time) and I saw Tiberius’ cut out on the OCW site as that belts champion. I always wanted to eventually challenge for it but alas, I do not possess an Xbone-1. Great show overall this week, some interesting post-Certified Greatness angles evolving. Looking forward to the following weeks to come.
-
Yea I noticed that, didn't realise there was a no-firearms policy do will note for next time. Glad you liked it, tryna play off the Hollywood gimmick by doing parody RPs using movie genres, tropes, etc.
-
Really interesting podcast. It was good to hear some of the questions Capo asked answered, I learned a bunch about grey area FPR and looking forward to seeing the new and improved Capo CAW. Also, I didn't mean to sound pretentious with those Turmoil RP submissions, Jay! There was just a bunch of different shit to put together and I thought it would just save you time if I laid it all out.

RUDO’s QUICK NOTE TURMOIL TAKEDOWN + The show kicks off with a meeting between the Crown members discussing their plans to continue their domination of Turmoil. Careful not to underestimate your opponent’s boys – could be eating your words come CG. I enjoy Crown promos where everyone’s personalities get to shine, this was one of those. Madison has Dennis’ balls in her purse – I’m pretty sure if I searched hard enough on RedTube I could find a video of these two in the FemDom category. + Young Drakes but on the scene. Ricky going by “Rags” is fitting seeing as it looks like he’s used a few on his face since his CAW update; thumbs up. So it looks like Kit Anderson is out for the night; disappointing, was looking forward to seeing if he could pull out another win. Let’s see if these two young high flyers can pull out wins tonight. MATCH: Tay Terror vs. Corey Forde This was a long ass singles match but it was varied enough in spots, etc, to where it was never really boring to watch. Inside the ring, outside the ring, top rope, springboards, subs, back and forth reversal battles. Considering the damage Corey had taken I figured he’d be hit with a finish and it would be over but the surprise ToF to seal the deal was a great way to end it. + Code Terror enter the dank basement of the Turmoil arena on a bear hunt but what do they find? A NAKED, SWEATY B-17!!! Did not expect that. Naked brawls are never not funny, especially when someone touches / gets touched by the pee-pee. Unlucky, Code, you are now tainted. Think this is the first RP in which someone has a fully erect naked penis; good one you B-17, be proud of your man parts. #PEN15 MATCH: Thomas Archer vs. Ricky the Dragon Second new rookie to not show up tonight – James H North. Hoping they were legit reasons and not just flakes. In any case, the match was entertaining; Ricky’s high flying style vs. Archer’s methodical technical brawling. Was sure Ricky was gonna win at one point but ended up tapping to the leg sub. Nice match. + Cort Marshall is one of my favourite characters; hilarious and defined. Couple of great lines in there including “patriotic biceps” had me lol’ing. Pumped for the match later in the card between him and Tobin. + Code Terror promo. Very short but I guess it got the message across? Still not sure what their gimmick is; what’s with the tick-tock? If Code becomes some sort of deranged time guy with a pocket watch that counts down peoples demises and uses “1..2..3..” one liners etc I would mark out for that. Then Tay’s “KILL” on his mask might make sense too; go full psychological horror movie. Happy Rusev Day everyone. MATCH: Cort Marshall vs. Tobin Frost Good match at a good length; prefer matches that run around 10 – 15mins purely for my attention span purposes. Good back and forth in this one, with the added pressure on Tobin to pull out the victory heading into CG, which he did with a powerful Sit-Out Powerbomb. Good luck for CG, Tobin. + Cheryl/Madi RP. Good build up of the tension not only between the heels and faces of this womens rivalry but I felt a bit of tension between Cheryl and Madison in this one. Good job, looking forward to watching the match later in the card to see who gets the bragging rights. + Justin Jehst promo: 10/10 best promo writer on the show, can’t get enough of JJ. Should probably be Main Eventing at CG but ah well. Yeah, nah, I’m not gonna comment on my own RP’s, I’ll leave that to ya’ll. MATCH: ShowBlitz vs. Flojo and Cassidy Valentine Riley Quinn is ecceptionally quick at changing her attire, either that or she wearing some shit that change colour in particular lighting. Lotus was getting lit up by Cheryl early on before tagging in Valentine; good move. Dominant performance by the ShowBlitz girls. + Haley Nichols promo: better back up those words, gurl! Short and to the point but got my intrigued to see if that confidence will be backed up by her stick work. MATCH: Big Ed vs. KD Two of the shortest names in the fed but certainly two of the largest in size. A brawl between two giants, this match was extremely even and kept a good pace throughout. Punches, slams, and high powered moves, what more do you want from two big bastards going at it? KD picks up the win with the Blackgate F-5. + An RP brought to you by Invictus Industries. Archer makes some money with merch before going off for his match that had already been. A small oversight I’m sure. The RP then reaches a heart warming conclusion as Austin Lee admits all his wrong doings against his stable mate, nay, brother, B-17, and vows to have his back from here on out. Melts the heart, it does. + Again, a master class in RP writing from Justin Jehst. No more to say; flawless. (Again, will leave my RP’s for others to comment on). + Another Crown RP; short one to set up Tay’s match with Corey, which has already happened; again, a small oversight. Can’t imagine organising the sea of RP’s for this show into cohesive order, props to the show organisers. As for the RP, nice interactions between the Crown members, and it’s fun to watch Code Terror try and earn a place with the Crown. MATCH: Austin Lee vs. Capo Really good showing from Capo, I can tell he’s definitely getting better, and he took it to Austin. Unfortunately for him the Invictus member caught him with the Discount Cutter to close it out. Good match, enjoyed watching it. + Austin promo reconnecting the Invictus dots with Stacy Clarke asking some probing questions that were not answered; where does Austin Lee truly stand with his stable mates? + Short and to the point promo for RD Money’s Main Event match and also bigging up the CG match with all three involved in the RP. Let’s see how RD Money does in the Main Event. + Stroppy Ricky is perked up by beers, like any normal human being. Now I want a beer. Or 5.The Young Drakes went 1-1 tonight but are still on a mission to take out as many Crown members as possible. MATCH: RD Money vs. Shepard Being the smaller man in this contest, Shepard had to try and use some highflying offense to take down the big RD. It was RD who was able to wear down the Crown member enough to hit a huge powerbomb for the win. The Crown tried to be slick with a 3 man distraction but RD is a vet and could see Shepards blindside attack coming. Pumped for CG! All in all a good preview/build up for the Turmoil side of CG card. Really looking forward to the PPV. Thank you to all involved in putting the show together.

Who are the 10 peeps in the battle royal? Doesn't have any names on the card.

Haha, well there ya go. I thought it was being used as a story mechanic, so I guess it was a happy accident that made sense in the end.

RUDO'S QUICK NOTE RIOT BREAKDOWN: + The tension between H2O and Betterness/Kneesus Christ is building really nicely with a few back and forth promos. + I don't think the Cohle/Jookie feud needs long promos or complex/deep stories to get over for me; it just feels like a good ol' "I wanna beat da fuck outta you" type feud. Looking forward to the cage match at CG to conclude this rivalry, at least for now. MATCH: Rust Cohle vs. Bunny M I don't know what the hell a Bunny M is and I don't think I've ever seen a promo to get into his character. Guessing he's someone's alt? In any case, good showing, taking down Rust, whom I thought was gonna get completely walked at the start but came back as the match went on. + Ryu's "BRO" persona had me cracking the fuck up, very relatable as a gym goer myself, plenty of those types around. MATCH: Pyra vs. Billy Bones I am really liking the feud with Blackbeards crew vs. Sanctuary crew and this match really tied into that well, especially with the promo edits at the start and the promo after Minio/Mugen. Digging Billy's look, kind of looks like a hardcore chick. Very back and forth, both getting their shit in. Battling inside and outside the ring. Pyra's flapjack is also the same move my cousin uses for his CAW's finish so I popped a little for that. Solid match. The Kraken reminds me of some of the boys I used to play rugby with. + Minio/Mugen promo; good build up for CG, putting over not only themselves but the match as well with a hilarious promo involving everyone's favourite pre-workout...BUFF BLASTER. + Again, hilarious "bro" promo from Matsumoto with McGee to build up the Chamber Match. I felt the build up to the chamber had been good so far in the show with everyone interacting here and there to make it truly feel like a multi-man match that means something to all involved. MATCH: Roxy Rose vs Sasha Banks I mark the fuck out for Roxy Rose; probably my favourite Bombshell on either roster. Just an overall cool look and character, like a female Bowie/Rockstar. Really good back and forth match with some killer high spots with Roxy coming out on top. The follow up promo almost had me and then BAM, Tyler wit da SLAP 2 DA FACE! + Tibby building up the suspense with the golden telephone promo; WHO WILL IT BE?! Short, but did well to build up the mystery. + Jookie coming down for some SERIOUS BUSINESS with that bat. Rust brings the paid-for gang for a beatdown; classic one-on-many coward move, makes me root for Jookie at CG; job well done. MATCH: B20 vs Tiberius & Pugh Gotta love the suspense of waiting for a surprise tag partner entrance and this did not disappoint. Great tag match. Tibby taking the pin shows he can be beaten which for me makes the match at CG that much more interesting to watch. + AC Cobra's return. Wasn't around for his previous tenure but will be keeping an eye out to see if he keeps his promise of sticking around being active. MAIN EVENT: McGee vs. Ryu vs. Kass Did not expect Kass to eliminate himself. Not sure if it was to leave Ryu to get beaten down by Sean and save himself for CG or what but would've helped if there was perhaps an RP to set that up and explain it. Like others have said, would've been cool if Sean had overcome the odds, but hey, that's the way it goes. Still an entertaining match, was unsure of who might win all the way down to the end. Great way to end the show.

Enjoyed this weeks show for sure. Heaps of good segments to read and stories developing. There was one that started out with a line about a "souped up Monaro" and before even reading on I knew it was gonna be a Seb Abbott segment hahaha. Monaro's are grouse. Interested to see how this situation with the Circle and Dennis works out too.

Yeah I get what you're saying, for sure, I guess it's just more about us, the players, not exploiting mechanics in an unfair way. It's just good to know what is considered a dick move in the game as to not do it in matches.

Great episode, lots of interesting feuds starting to manifest/continue. Excited to see what unfolds in the coming weeks.
