RUDO’s TREACLE TASTING TURMOIL TAKEDOWN: + Will Dragana take the Women’s Championship, taking out a most elusive, difficult to hunt hare in the process? NOW WHO IS THE MASTER HUNTER, DRAGO?! Should be a fiercely contested triple threat for sure. + Daryl Bradley…what is this sorcery? Bit of a piss take or…??? Wait, he’s a past wrestler? I’m too newb to know who he is so I guess I’ll need to wait and see. But for some reason he is backing Jett Draven as his ‘champion’; like an arrogant demi-god, a Daedric Prince, or just a delusional King, putting all his chips on Draven. Will the oddball help or hinder Jett’s rise to the top? MATCH: Jett Draven vs. Bray About time someone used the Shield crowd entrance. Fits his character as well; brooding and mysterious psycho. The back and forth is real in this one, neither separated by more than a colour grade for a good chunk of the match. Hadn’t seen Bray in a match in a while so wasn’t sure what to expect but he held his own against Jett. Double foot stomp by Draven for the pin! 2 count! Some aggressive turnbuckle work by Bray into a strike combo, but unfortunately for him he gets caught with Jett’s rolling cutter. + CJ gets taken out before the match tonight; what is Raggy gonna do?! + Bray gets embarrassed by his sister for losing; sibling love, everybody. Sure he’ll bounce back. + H20 and Baker attempt to break into Mugen’s stronghold to retrieve a can of Buffblaster; a sure-fire way to give himself an advantage in his fight with Mugen at SL. Now possibly lost in time? Here we go again. MATCH: Tyler Steel vs. Justin Jehst Tyler was easy to work with, responsive communicator, and I think we put on a pretty competitive match. Rookie mistake from myself at the end there with the dive, but it made for an interesting finish and gave me a talking point for my post-match RP. Dude no sold my finish for a 1 count too, so had to go all out haha. Grats, Tyler. + Dillinger and Breezayyyyy meet Valkyrie. I am wondering how Tyler makes his money as a recording artist when he’s essentially a mute at this point? Valk is obviously still salty with Aerith which I think she’s holding onto too much; let it go and make up. + Quartz’ mind continues to warp and cause delusional behaviours. Let’s hope he can keep himself sane enough to compete at Savage Lands; or is that where the real ‘savage’ within Quartz will emerge. The Black Phoenix will rise again. MATCH: Womens Fatal Four Way Ashley Moore still sporting the DANGER BOOTS! It’s all on from the get go with all 4 competitors going HAM, all over the show. Loved Flojo jumping into a Diving Hurricanrana just before she would’ve been pushed off the top rope haha. Valk prepping the announce table? Naughty, Little Bubba! Half way through it’s reasonably even, but Moore has taken a decent beating. Valk with the dive and miss and Flojo makes her pay, tossing her into the steps. Flojo escapes the superplex! Everyone’s getting their shit in right now. Flojo running from Valk around the outside, lol. Blaine with POWERFUL butterfly facebuster! Damn. Shooting Star from Valk misses! Moore steals it from Valkyrie! HEEL SHIT! Great finish. + Some guy from RIOT slagging off Turmoil and this review. No name drop for you then, Telos…DAMN IT! Good heel promo to rile up the fans behind Cyborg. + Ashley Moore enjoys her success in the fatal four way, but only for a moment before getting interrupted by Flojo. FEUD PLZ. MATCH: Celtic Dragons vs. Code Terror So Bray is the replacement for CJ; interesting. That Jackman CAW is hilarious, going the no knee pad look. In fact he looks like a caveman with that attire. Code Terror with the double team. Bray gives a walloping. Ricky fails his comeback. Tay with a dirty shot at Ricky as he makes the tag, but Bray makes him pay with a barrage of offense. That Becky Lynch taunt is mad feminine though, Bray, unless that’s what you’re going for? Fame-Asser from Code! Burning Hammer from Bray! Can’t quite clutch it. Bray Dragons are looking good at the 3 quarter mark. Bray makes the scramble and the save for what could have possibly put Ricky away with the ‘Lia Drive’ from Jackman! Both men are down! Ricky gets up and hits the Truth and Consequences but gets pinged with a rope break! But follows up with the Twist of Fate for the win! + Valk is ready for Savage Lands, no matter the cost. This one will be interesting, it’s not often we get handicap matches in OCW so I’m looking forward to it, especially with all Valkyrie has to prove. But stop being a stubborn ass, Valk; Aerith wants you two to be friends like before this whole kafuffle, and it would be in your best interest to let her back in with Showblitz showing no signs of stopping or shutting up shop on Turmoil. + So perhaps Bray took CJ out to get into the match with Rags? Hmm…interesting. Doing what he needs to do to get into the title scene. Admire the ambition but not the path. + Tay is not happy about the loss, taking it out on Jackman. I got a feeling they’ll be ready for Savage Lands either way, and these two teams will be very evenly matched going into the title match. + Punctuation, Ricky; get some up ya bloody growler m8. So steel cage match for Savage Lands? Fits the bill for sure. I’m pumped for this PPV; gonna be carnage. + Again, another unfamiliar face to me re-appears, but I’ve heard the name bandied about. I can’t say I don’t like his methods of keeping delinquents in check; a swift kick to the balls will do Jay Fury a world of good I’d say. MATCH: Jackson Montgomery vs. Wrex 9min timeline, I’m expecting some sort of ass beating or perhaps a Scumciety interference. Past FI holder and current FI holder go head to head. Even for the first part until JackMo got heavied into a massive combo streak by Wrex on the outside. JackMo is loving the rolling butterfly’s, one of his signature attacks I’ve found. Not too far apart in damage at this point. Top rope DDT from Wrex was brutal, followed by a diving leg drop, not enough to put him away. Bit of back and forth before Wrex continues his savage winning streak, hitting the Mercy Kill for the 1, 2, 3. Who will stop this beasts rampage across Turmoil? Decent show overall, plenty of storylines about to wrap up at Savage Lands. Like others have said, great to see RIOT guys using Turmoil for furthering storylines and I want to see more of it, as well as Turmoil and RIOT guys cross-RPing. Really looking forward to the PPV, the matches on the card are great, no fillers, even with the summer lull. MOTN: I really enjoyed my match with Tyler, but in the interest of fairness I can’t choose my own; so I’m going with the Fatal 4 Way, if not for anything but the finish, it was awesome. RPOTN: This was a hard choice so I ended up going with the one that stuck out with me the most which was H20 and Baker breaking into Mugen’s stronghold.

RUDO’s RECREATIONAL RETREAT RIOT REVIEW: + The show opens with D. Dillinger coming out to the ring in his finest attire. A bit of playing to the crowd and cementing his cocky attitude. Then he presents Tayy Breizee, whom, with Dillingers introduction sounds like he will be a heel? “Draws the ire of the crowd” seems to indicate that but we didn’t get a chance to hear from the man himself which is a shame. Cool looking CAW though, can’t wait to see if he truly lives up to the hype being presented by his manager. + Valkyrie and Jackman have no luck finding B-17, but at least Jackman got drunk. Why did he not get hit on? Was it the smell or the dreadlocks, I can’t tell. Still no sign of B. MATCH: Taiga Masuka vs. Doc Young Not sure of the lack of entrance music for Doc was intentional being his first match, like how a local talent gets no music, but I thought there was gonna be some sort of inspirational hip hop track or something playing. Taiga got those funky beats doe. Grapple battle to start things off, which Taiga gets the better of. Some interesting offense from Young during the bout, sticking to his strong style/lucha hybrid description. In fact it was actually quite a ‘martial-artsy’ type match; lots of kicks and strikes. Both men landed some crazy dives to the outside which was awesome, love watching those cinematic angle clips to help break away from the normal camera angle. Pretty even match all the way through, but Doc Young able to land the JJE for the debut victory. + CQC and B20 have an exchange of words before their match tonight. No love lost between these guys at all with that trash talking. B20 staying in the impractical part of the hotel; what if there’s a fire? CQC are straight out the door while you watch the painter from your high level view and get engulfed in flames. Now tell me who has the better room, huh? Safety first everyone. + Not much to say about Doc Young’s promo; he was short and to the point. Keep your eyes on him in the coming weeks. + MJF giving credence to his “Better than You” confidence, outlining his hometown sporting accomplishments. AC, he talking shit bro, you gotta respond. MATCH: Cozz vs. Loki Whoa. Cozz. You freaky psycho now? Intimidating face paint. LOL, Loki gets no love. LOL, that doggy headbutt. Both these guys had interesting offence, very unorthodox in a lot of ways, I like it. Loki nearly kills himself, Ricky style, with that dive over the ropes. The counter battle at the end was nice, then Loki misses the Springboard Blockbuster only to be crushed with Cozz’ ‘The Way Out’! 1, 2, 3, Cozz picks up a win. Great match, amazing finish sequence. + Jackman and Valk get up to more shenanigans, this time at a nudist beach. Surely he would have been there? Also, LOL @ pervey_guy69 on the beach. Cover up, Valk. Wonder if they’ll ever find him. + AC fires back at MJF, pointing out all the cowardly actions he has taken to avoid AC. Savage Lands it is all on! + Jehst/Elsa RP. Comment as you wish. MATCH: Jekub Trenz vs. Cody Cole No entrance for Cody was great as I didn’t have to hear Adam Cole’s music as he made his way to the ring. Codebreaker! Can he do it?!! NO! 2 count! Buckle Bomb…damn, that’s brutal. Only a 1 count off that; Bourne showing some resilience. Counter powerslam off the dive! I’ll say this till the cows come home, but Jekub Trenz is a BEAST. Last week against CJ, this week against Bourne; he just continues to run through people. Kick out of the Codebreaker again?! Trance pounces to the outside taking out both me - - - what is this?! SCUMCIETY TAKE OUT TRANCE! BAH GAWD KANG! These villainous bastards are in everyone’s pies at the mo! + Oooof. Cort putting his heart on his sleeve and speaking some truth to the RIOT tag division. This was great as it was funny yet serious at the same time, really laying into the other top teams. Cort and Shepard have a lot to fight for. Those belts were given up by Cort and it will mean a lot if they win them back off Ligerbunny the old fashion way; a good ol’ fashion beat down. + More adventures with Valkman searching for B-17, and an introduction to Javier; obviously a member of the B-Community. Well, they’ve found B at least! And how did Valk get Quartz’ sunnies?! MATCH: Coolidge vs. AC Cobra While Coolidge seemed to dominate the start of the match, his stamina wore out and AC gained some lost ground by mid-match. Daring dive by AC takes Coolidge out! I would not want Coolidge putting me in an armbar; FUCK THAT NOISE! Match remains even so far. AC HITS THE “GAME OVER” BUT CAN’T KEEP COOLIDGE DOWN!!! Coolidge keeps going for that armbar but can’t quite cinch it. AC underestimates his leg strength and fluffs a leg drop. Go for the pin, why not. Coolidge has had enough an lands a devastating GTS on AC for the 1, 2, 3. + Cyborg with a short promo against his Savage Lands opponent. The bad blood is evident. Gonna be a damn slobberknocker! TABLES, LADDERS, AND CHAIRS!...and kendo sticks, baseball bats, etc, etc. + Valkyrie ends up taking over Cheryl’s Clark Effect segment. Where she finds the time in between that and finding B-17 I’ll never know; busy woman! The segment was back and forth accusations between the two women, eventually ending with Valkyrie putting the last word in, which was a super tense and perhaps showing a more compassionate side of Valk – or perhaps darker, if the implied answer was that she would have bashed the shit out of Cheryl. MATCH: CQC vs. B20 Is that Joyner Lucas on that B20 theme? Nice little back and forth by Quartz and H20 to start the match before both are able to tag out and pit Cohle against Baker. Baker certainly playing the heel, firstly when he jumped in to attack Quartz as the illegal man, then spearing Cohle off the apron. That multi pin reversal spot was awesome with Baker n Cohle. Gotta love the double team spots in tag matches. Things start falling apart into an all out brawl at 15mins, no one is safe! Quartz jumps from the top and takes out his partner! H20 almost taken out by Quartz with the Black Phoenix! Tense last portion of the match, down to the wire where H20 hits the major and then lands the Rip Tide to end the match. + Jackman finally gets clean! The OCW locker room thanks you, Sensation. The peg manufacturers are cursing you out though, they've made a killing these past 4 weeks. + Kass emerges from the back to demand answers about his Fasha! And who appears but SENSATIONAL SPIDER!! FUUUUUCK! That entrance was so good I was like, keep the beat rolling let me hit a verse in this trash cypher. Fucking hell, Spider just runs rampant on the mic, ripping into Kass like the batteries never gonna go flat. Ripping on rookies too. Some shoot shit right here! Ooooooh baybay the RIOT main event at Savage Lands just got more juicy! MOTN: This is probably a tie between Loki/Cozz (mainly cos the finish was slick) and the main event, but the ME went a little too long for my attention span haha, great match though, and a few close calls near the close of the match made it fun to watch til the end. RPOTN: This is gonna be a three way tie between Cort’s heartfelt rant, the Valk/Jackman escapades, and Spiders reveal. If I had to pick one of those it’d be Spider purely for the “HOLY SHIT” factor. Great show everyone, heaps of storylines evolving for the PPV and great matches, super solid. This PPV is shaping up to be one I’m pumped for, even in the Right Side-Up summer lull.

RUDO’s TRANSFORMATIVE TENTACLE TURMOIL TAKEDOWN: + Show opens with a hilarious segment with Aerith and Johnny vs. Dragana and Morse Code. Great build up to the “U suck lol” line, hahaha. MATCH: Cort Marshall vs. Rust Cohle Canada vs. France on the sticks. Played some Fortnite with 2 of my cousins the other day and the fourth member of the squad was a random French guy. He was weird as fuck, didn’t speak much English but kept saying he was “Spiderman”. Anyway, lots of back and forth for the first half of the match with both guys only one yellow a-piece. Missed elbow drop from Cohle turns into a comeback from Cort, hitting the diving DDT!!! 1, 2, OHHH!!! Rust tryna do the classic heel runaway, which backfires with Cort hitting a wonky-sault, but only gets a 2 count! Flying knee drop to the outside by Rust, can he put Cort away? Shit getting wild with that whip into the stairs, this man ain’t playin’ around! Rust counters the fin and then works to hit his own for the finish. Solid AF match. + Jackman plays the sympathy with Valkyrie and she falls for it. Will this be a face turn or will Little Bubba be screwed over by the “Rank Buzzard” Code Jackman? + This RP with Aerith and Valk makes Valk look like a childish, unreasonable, little girl. Perhaps that’s a little harsh. Incredibly stubborn maybe. Just kiss and make up FFS. Also, when did Little Bubba get a potty mouth? Is she shedding her child friendly personality and turning into a motorbiking badass? + Kat vs. Heather, NO DQ next week? I’m fucking all in. MATCH: Valkyrie vs. Ashley Moore B-Community Valk enters the arena! Ashley Moore is thicc, and with that gimmick (blonde social media queen) is probably thick as well. DANGER BOOTS! Referee ain’t tryna get tangled up in that arm drag. Moore is being dominated colour-wise though visually it hasn’t seemed like it should be that far apart in damage. Moore with a late comeback! SWANTON! Knee off the counter in the corner by Valk! WAKE UP MOORE, IT’S PARTY TIME! BOOM! Angel’s Grace seals the fate of Ashley Moore for the 1, 2, 3! + Has Valk injured Ashley Moore? Or is it fake news for the InstaWagon? + KD calling out the legend, Nate Ortiz? THIS MAN AIN’T NO SISSY! Wonder if we see that at Summercide. + Malu answers KD’s challenge! Wooo! Battle of two beasts. I’m pumped. Also, Archer is in the firing line. Better buy himself some bodyguards real quick. MATCH: Jett Draven vs. Mistico I still feel like, if I was Mistico’s opponent, that I wasn’t fighting him, but that he was taking me out to a romantic dinner with that entrance theme. The grapple battle at the start was nice. Everyone seems to have that top rope double foot stomp, and I bet it’s because if you miss you don’t land on your face and risk being attacked, but roll to your feet. But let’s be fair, nobody wants to be a carbon copy of Ricky in that department. Draven hitting Mistico with the diving dropkick through the ropes, kind of a “I can do that too, punk” moment. Super close in the last minute of the match, Mistico needs to get him red, AND HE DOES! Draven counters Mistico and drops him with the 1, 2, 3! Great match, loved the competitiveness of these two and the finish. + Mugen x Drago promo. Fuckin hilarious, loved it. Mugen needs to drop de five but won’t listen to Drago’s instruction, or tries to sneak his way around eating right and exercising. Great RP. “I do not mean the discoteque” = LOTN. MATCH: Wrex vs. Thomas Archer The baseball bat entrance was intimidating as fuck, good shit. Nut shot on the apron by Wrex; ouchies. Archer gets revenge later, laying into Wrex’s nads with a bat. Taking out Archers legs, smart; minimize those leg kick attempts. Irish whip into the chair off the counter was awesome. That ring chase sequence was funny as fuck, and then Archer with the missed dive! Jay Fury with the interference! 1, 2, 3! That’s how you make an impact as a heel tag team. Loved it. Great match, thought Archer may have been able to make a comeback after Wrex hit red but that finish was awesome. Incredibly light show RP-wise, which wasn’t a bad thing as it meant way less time reviewing. Summer lull is in full effect (but not in the Upside Down, it is cold and raining). MOTN: I gotta go with Draven/Mistico for the sheer competitiveness and the finish was great. Shout out to the Main Event for the finish. I just love when people create angles in a match with cut scenes it just adds to the show in a great way RPOTN: Mugen/Drago – too funny not to get RPOTN.

RUDO’s REJECTED REVOLUTIONARY RIOT REVIEW: + Another naked hospital RP from B-17, this time co-starring Drago! Funny as always, loved Drago’s reaction to the nakedness/B-Community antics. B-17 may end up opening his own naked hospital one day at this rate. + Cozz has come to confront management about his booking rate. There’s a lot of people in the fed at the mo so it isn’t gonna happen every week. But from an RP perspective, Cozz still comes off as an angry young man ailing from some sort of mental health condition, and perhaps physical, seeing as he fainted. Or is Dr. Edmunds some weird extra-terrestrial causing strange shit to happen? Or is he from another dimension? Alternate timeline? Guess we’ll have to wait and find out. + Jackman continues his crazy streak. If he doesn’t come back to Turmoil with a pet buzzard who “tells him to do things” I’ll be disappointed. Bringing in some type of Al Snow crazy gimmick would be great. + H20 and Heather drama continues. Still curious to see how this Valkyrie thing goes down or whether Heather is purely jealous of Valk/paranoid. Interesting putting Ricky up against H20 in the ME too, gonna be an un-safe extravaganza. + RYU is being tortured as fuck. Will he even survive this mental onslaught?! I’m hoping for amazing things come Savage Lands in terms of his attire/look based on these RP’s. + Another great intro promo by Young King showing more of his background and why he has entered the Thunderdome that is OCW. If he ever wins a title it’ll mean all that more given his character background. + NO DQ for Savage Lands for Telos/Cyborg? Fuck yes! A stipulation earned through solid feud build up. Well done to these two as well, it’s a feud that’s had a great build and the payoff match should be one to watch. MATCH: Cody Cole vs. Tigermaasooka Again, fuck, that music I just can’t associate with anyone but Cole. IMO you should get some original music that’s similar, seriously there’s a ton. Trance’s finisher out of the gate. Some punishing strike combo’s from Taiga. One of CJ’s finishers by Bourne. You need to check the finishers thread my man. Twin springboard hahaha. Don’t think I’ve ever seen that. I like the crotch chop taunt set up for the fin, I do the same thing with my camera wind up; it lets the opponent know what’s coming but it’s a familiar thing for people watching and they get used to seeing that before the finisher hits. Finisher Man wins. + Cort Marshall/Rust RP; hilarious banter about the OCW video game and the DLC etc. So good, I lol'd a bit. WHO WILL SURVIVE THE SAVAGE LANDS WHEN THESE TWO TEAMS CLASH?! + These RPs are great. Drago being disciplined by his mute sister was hilarious. B'd Brownies. MATCH: Coolidge vs. Cyborg Fuck, Godsmack, that's taking me back a ways to my rebellious teenage years. Battle of the big men is oooooon! Brutal powerbomb on the outside by Cyborg. That elbow drop to outside was nuts; big man flying! This is turning out to be an all out brawl, counter battles for days! That finish was awesome, clutch counters into the final ending move from Cyborg. Coolidge had some interesting offense, looking forward to seeing more of him in ring. + Not only did Telos promote his match with Cyborg at Savage Lands but he introduced a catch phrase that puts over his finish (I dunno if you've used that before but I like it), as well as putting over his finish over Cort via said move. Short but to the point for sure. + Sad to see Capo duck out but I'm sure when he's ready to come back he'll be fired up to get back into stride. + Coolidge is a "no fucks given" beast. Let's see if he can right the ship in his next outing. + Jackman, you bastard! How dare you push Little Bubba?! Annnnd steal B-17 away! I don't like where this is heading for B. And can someone let Valk out of the closet, plz kthxbai. + Cort n Rusts gaming antics continue. Again, some funny banter in here as the two square off on an OCW game. Testicular is absolutely legal, no redo bubba. MATCH: CJ vs. Trance Holy piss. At least I can say bell to bell this was a quicker match than me vs. Wrex, so thank you CJ for wiping me from the OCW records books! Those punches from Trance were doing ridiculous damage with each hit, it was nuts to see a match where someone just doesn’t get coloured at all. Damn. I don’t know what to say, I expected CJ to put up more of a fight but I guess this just cements why Trance is a Main Event player. + Kassidy needs to find his fasha! Hilarious RP from the champ, and continuing the build to Savage Lands.I’m really intrigued about how this is all going to end up. + CQC promo; I’m loving this new Quartz attitude/personality, and pairing it with Rust is great. Sort of a Raven/Stevie Richards dynamic.. I will be watching this match at Savage Lands with great interest; get that tag division cracking boys! + Here comes that crazy buzzard Jackman! WHERE IS B-17 YOU MONSTER?! The entrance was longer than the speech hahaha. + Ricky RP! Yay! Man of few words but plenty of action (and danger). Let’s see if he can get it done against H20. MATCH: Ricky vs. H20 H20 + Heather entrance = fire. He looks like a damn star, as a champion should. Ricky held his own throughout the match which was great to see as H20 is not an easy beat. That Coast to Coast was awesome, I popped a lil for that. H20 with that pin feint, oh shiiiit! HE AIN’T DONE YET! NO NO NO! RICKY WITH THE PIN FEINT!! HE AIN’T DONE NEITHER!!! NO NO NO NO! I think we need to put together a montage/collection of Ricky’s missed springboard attempts from all matches (<3). 450 to the outside hits! DANGER AVOIDED, WILL ROBINSON! Holy fuck, Ricky needs a manager called Will Robinson; can someone plz make a CAW kthxbai. PACKAGE BUTT KICK! That Dragonrana counter into a powerbomb was fuckin SEEK M8! That kick combo into the finish was creamy, slick finish from H20 to keep his rep up. Grats. Pretty great show overall, a plethora or interesting and funny RP’s mixed in with the more serious and feud driven narratives. MOTN: I’m gonna have to go with the ME. Highly competitive and had a tasty finish after that kick out and desperation crawl from Ricky, like he’d given everything to try and beat H20 and then he gets a three kick combo to put him down. RPOTN: Have to go with the Cort/Rust saga.

RUDO’s TESTICULARLY TANTALISING TURMOIL TAKEDOWN: *Jehst would like to advise readers that the opinions herein within RUDO’s TESTICULARLY TANTALISING TURMOIL TAKEDOWN are that of his own and do not reflect the views and opinions of OCW. Feel free to tell me to SMDFTB and give your take on things. + Jehst/Elsa RP: MINE so I’ll let others comment. MATCH: Riley Quinn vs. Ace I really like Ace’s aesthetic with the entrance/attire/attitude; I think Turmoil needed a bit of a serious shake up, and Bray/Ace as well as Scumciety have offered an extra injection of it. The sequence at 4.13 was fun to watch, with Quinn getting thrown around. Very evenly matched players it would seem. Ace’s kick out of the spin kick finish was clutch. Riley pulling out the high risk elbow from the top to the outside, just as unsafe as her brother it seems! The overdubs were annoying, although the first “I can’t believe you’ve done this” I did chuckle at. Ace locking in the sub fin for the win. + B-17/Valk RP – Valk is enticed by B-17’s flailing phallus and goes to tell him a bed time story. She is now a member of the B-Community? B’s already got Jackman rocking his merch, now Valk’s going out into the world repping it to. Some interesting little mythology tid-bits in there; all told while B-17 remains naked? Valk is not phased by genitalia. + So Mistico is friends with Damian Bourne? So he’s now a ‘massive heel’ by proxy then right? I thought Mistico was supposed to be a face, maybe that’s all changed. And a tag team between those two? Why not? Could probably do with less references to other feds too; this is OCW baybay. MATCH: Cozz vs. Nick Bates I like Cozz’ new attire, it’s awesome. I still don’t know what Nick Bates is gimmick-wise. The attire (especially entrance) is a bit ambiguous and haven’t seen not one RP from the character. Man, Bates took like 4000 Half n Half suplexes. Pretty evenly matched fight, heaps of counter for counter sequences. Wait, did Bates just dab? American Hip-Hop Boxer? Gooch, what the hell is his gimmick?! That piledriver off the apron was brutal. Then Cozz drops Bates on the opposite apron! Clutch kick out by Cozz! Unable to escape the second though. If he’s a boxer shouldn’t he have a punch combo or something as a finish? Or was that move the ‘Hip-Hop Drop’? + Good to see a new member putting in work even when they haven’t been booked yet. I can tell you have had experience with e-feds before so I’m curious to see the CAW in action. Keep it up. MATCH: Cody Cole vs. CPT Alex Just a thought, Damian, but a different hairstyle could make you break away from the straight Cody Rhodes look, and perhaps some facial hair or something to mask the face import. And the music... I, personally, appreciate originality when it comes to OCW content so I couldn’t get down with that; I’d suggest changing that too; I'm sure there's plenty of royalty free music that would suit. Attire is cool though, dig it. Match itself was decent but I was not a fan of the desperation/thirsty sub finish. Not illegal by any means, just seems like a cop-out. To me, IMO (ie. feel free to tell me to ‘SMDFTB’ if you don’t agree) a sub should only be used to finish a match as a sig or fin, not a regular move. You never saw Triple H lock in a kimura, or Kurt Angle win via any sub other than the ankle lock (as far as I can remember, for the most part). I did like the arrogant, cock chopping degenerate attitude though, not many on Turmoil that do that sort of thing; I could get behind that gimmick of “No Fucks Given”. + Valk is cleared!!! And now she’s wanting to take on both members of ShowBlitz? You cray, gurl. But respect for putting forward the challenge, Little Bubba. Cheryl and Riley are still the ‘mean girls’ of the roster for sure. Bullies always get their own back, though. + Jackman has grown in both stench and delusion over his time in the box; he thinks Wrex is his friend? Potential Summercide match-up if Code Terror win the belts at Savage Lands. “Battle of the Bearded One’s”. MATCH: Mistico vs. Tyler Steel Tyler Steel new mask for entrance is pretty sweet. And Mistico wearing a football jersey is pretty relevant to the world cup goings on. Taunting at the start of the match not a great idea for reasons Mistico was more than happy to demonstrate haha. Mistico taunt with the mist was kinda random, but if a heel turn is imminent then hey. Mistico looked like he was going to maintain a healthy lead until Steel started to catch up around the 9min mark. Tylers kick-out game is strong. Sub sig for the win, kinda worked seeing as Tyler had kicked out of two of Mistico’s superkicks. + Heat building between Aerith and Dragana here for their looming title match collision. Both are title ready IMO going off their recent perfomances, but never count Sentai Hare out of the realm of retaining. + So Ace is confirmed as unstable as fuck. Wait is it Mori or Ace? Pick one, super confusing for those of us new kids on the block that only know her by ‘Ace’. Or is she split personality, hence the white half face paint? That would make sense. Do tell, Sir Bray. MATCH: CJ O’Donnell vs. Austin Lee This one was a lot closer than I was expecting when I saw the total match time, which was a nice surprise. Plenty of back and forth which kept things interesting. CJ held his own against the champ trying to claw his way back to an even damage ratio but inevitably fell victim to a brutal Discount Cutter. Great finish off the counter dropkick. MOTN: Probably have to go with CJ vs. Lee purely based on the pace and constant back and forth competition, and then that finish OUTTA NOWHERE! RPOTN: I'd have to say a tie between Valk/B-17 based purely on it's cheese and hilarity, and Bray/Ace as I've not seen them in my time in OCW and felt it put their characters across quite nicely as this unstable duo who could snap at any moment. Props to those who contributed; let's keep the shows burning baybay!

Good things take time. Mine will be up when I get home from work tonight.

RUDO’s RADTASTIC RAYGUN RIOT REVIEW: + H20 and Quartz throw shade at each other to build their match tonight. I wish more people did these kinds of simple interactions, even if it’s not for a feud but just for their match. It makes the viewer want to actually watch the match and see who wins. Promo’s 101. I’m sure there’ll be a few more coming throughout the show. + Lost in Translation – B17 vs. Ligermask. I love when RIOT guys and Turmoil guys RP together, it just sort of makes the whole fed feel like it’s not separated just because of the brand. Mmmm…Tamales. + Here we go, another promo for a match on the card; Cort handlin’ his bidness. Looking forward to him vs. Telos, seems like a good match up skill-wise. SUGAR RUSH! New tag team name for anybody who wants to use it. MATCH: Karissa Dawson vs. Ashley Moore Great showing from Moore against a vet handler. The kick out at the end of the DDT 2 count was clutch as fuck, had me on edge, thought the rook was gonna take the upset win. Overall a pretty competitive match, really liked watching it, and it wasn’t too long. Sick Kick for the win. BOOM! + Ryu mixed up in some strange plot; no surprises there haha. I dunno if this Cyborg fella is from a past angle but I’m intrigued to see what he looks like and how this whole thing is gonna play out. + Coolidge seems like he’s gonna do what he wants, when he wants. And with a frame like Lesnar I’d say that’s probably how it’s gonna go down. + Archer and Lee make their presence known and Trance falls right into their trap! Sid Harrison! Trance took a beating, hopefully he’ll be recovered enough to exact revenge on Sid tonight. + I don’t trust this Dennis guy. His client I’m not sure about, but until I see action from Tayy I won’t know if he’s Jedi or Sith. I am definitely looking forward to his debut after weeks of build-up. MATCH: Cort Marshall vs. Telos This match was fuckin awesome. It was a slow build to 2x finisher kickouts (one a piece) and then when Telos had kicked out of the second finisher from Cort, the Marshall made me mark out with an IRL OMG when he took to the skies with that cross body to the outside. I don’t think that would have had the same impact on me if it happened at the beginning or even the midway mark, as this seemed like Cort going outside the gameplan having been unsuccessful with his last two attempts to put Telos away. And then Telos hitting the Endgame for the win was devastating (cos I want the heel to lose, obvs); such a brutal finisher too, suits him. Grats to Telos. I didn't actually notice the FPR break until I read the comments on here and rewatched it. Something to note going forward, sure it'll get cleaned up. + Kass does not know de wae Ryu has been taken by the Cyborg. + Tyson Wagner is BACK! And he’s on a mission to get either revenge on Telos or at least a snack to feed his hunger in the ring! + Scumciety are coming for those Tag Titles and putting the whole division on notice. Now with a sanctioned match against Ricky, will Wrex duplicate his efforts against the Dragon, or will Ragnarath even the score? MATCH: Anthony Baker vs. Shepard First time seeing Shepard in a singles match in a while from memory. Brah, that AJ Styles glitch hahaha, surely that could have been cut out? Funny, though. Plenty of counter battles to be had in this one, was fun to watch the back and forth wars. Haven’t seen a lot of either guy so it’s been fun getting familiar with their movesets. The end was rad; a close call with Anthony Baker almost getting the 3 count call, then a counter and a Bakers Cut to end the match. THE CLARK EFFECT w/ Damian Bourne The main thing I took away from this is Damian is still as arrogant and cocky as he was before interview. He faces a veteran CPT Alex this week on Turmoil so let’s see if he can hang with him before allowing his currently delusional mindset to begin to manifest into any kind of truth. + Lost in Translation 2: IQ Test Edition. Again, more humour between these two, great to see. It’s also refreshing to see Ligermask on “TV” as I hardly ever see him (I know he’s an alt, but he’s a champ). + Shep and Cort talk love, life, and losses. Ok… just losses. Can AWOL make a comeback in the tag division and get those straps back? Also “train my kick-out shoulder”; gold. + RYU is in deep trouble here. This some MIB shit, wiping memories. Then implanting new ones? If these crazy dudes are successful, what kind of RYU will emerge this time? MATCH: Quartz vs. H20 For a while there it looked like H20 might gradually start running away with this one, but Quartz, who has been on a mission to get himself up the rankings of RIOT, had a brilliant come back, even getting frustrated and powerbombing H20 on the apron. When he hit that fin near the end I thought that might seal it, but H20’s resilience was able to save him and give him enough breathing room to put Quartz away. Great showing by Quartz, even in losing the match. + B-17 is all over this SHOE! So is Cort! Two of my favourite RPer’s in one segment? Bodacious, bro. The hospital has been a great scene for B-17 to roleplay with a host of people in the company. As for Cort not being a shitty human, I’m sure Shep will keep him in line if he begins to stray. MATCH: Sid Harrison vs. Trance Cracks me up the show has dookieshoe replacing swears but Harrison’s theme is riddled with cursing haha. Nice quick match that showcased both mens physicality in the ring. Great clash of styles, props to the bookers (or the guys themselves if it was self-booked) for having these two particularly face off. The Frog Splash was able to connect but couldn’t keep Harrison down for the 3. Despite an effort to come back, the Codebreaker put him down for the count. + Code Jackman was gifted a great angle by Wrex with this box thing. I hope Jackman keeps up the crazy persona and carries it over to the weeks after his time in a box is up. + AC Cobra calling out MJF, who makes his way out. Classic fight build up, then heel bails leaving the crowd hot. I’m looking forward to seeing this match at Savage Lands for sure. + Valk/H20/Heather interaction. Is H20 going to turn face again at some point, or is he luring Valk into a false sense of security, playing mind games for an eventual in-ring encounter with Heather? I’m not sure, but I will say, I am intrigued. + Quartz RP. Some great imagery and storytelling in this one, giving a background insight into the history and mind of Ijituzukiminoru-goku Quartz. Enjoyed reading that one. + Kass is on a mission of his own now that he knows Ryu is definitely missing. Will the Dark Master find his fasha before his memory is wiped and replaced?! MATCH: Wrex vs. Ricky – Extreme Rules Some brutal spots in this one; the straight-jacket German onto the chair was nasty as fuck. Ricky was getting pretty heavily bodied for the first 10mins then seemed to kick it up a gear, staving off the announcer table beat down and hitting a few moves on the outside. Was a bit iffy for a moment but then he put Wrex through the table, AND hit the Twist of Fate, which Wrex kicked out of! Ricky’s throat will be broken after that chair stomp! BY GAWD KANG! It’s all over with the Mercy Kill! Then the dirty buzzard, Code Jackman, comes out to lay down more punishment! Good match, lots of variety in terms of the hardcore spots, went all over the place, ultimately finished it off in the ring. Great job guys. MOTN: It’s a tie between Main Event and Cort/Telos for me. Both were awesome to watch even with the FPR break. RPOTN: I’m gonna go with Quartz little flash back piece. It was different and well written, I enjoyed that. There were a heap of good RP’s and angles happening on this show. The champs had their stuff going on throughout the show, putting in work. Matches were good lengths and entertaining, really good showing from everybody, no duds. All in all a solid show for me. Ricky in the ME and no RP? Come on man, just a few bars? And shout out to those working 3 characters and still putting in work.

I dunno if that bump comment was aimed at me but I didn't even pick up on that tbh, plus Jett/Steel was just in my head when I wrote my quick review notes so I spoke on it. If that's the case then yea, definitely that's something to bring up.
-
Thanks for the FeedBack, Valk, appreciate it. 1) Glad you like the CAW/entrance, etc. As for face imports, I don't really ever use them, I just face morph like in older games haha. It'd be weird to give him a new face at this point so I'll leave it. 2) You don't see me in the DM channel often because I live in the Upside Down and everyone is always DMing while I'm at work, which sucks cos I'd love to DM more. His style has constantly evolved throughout the year, but I initially took influence from my favorite wrestlers in terms of style so I've been tweaking moves here and there to more suit his personality and such. Like you say, work in progress, etc. 3) Appreciate the gimmick feedback. It's something (over the last few weeks especially) I've tried to bring out in him with film metaphors, references to actors, etc. As for the win, it definitely gave me a bit of a boost as I've not won since I beat Jimmy Henry a while back. I think I'm half decent on the sticks but I need to find a rhythm otherwise I fall apart against seasoned opponents (see: ass whipping via Wrex). 4) Perhaps surprisingly I totally agree with you on the whole "Mauler" name. It was something I started with and his style and personality has gone in the opposite direction. It's probably going to be dropped to be honest as it's conflicting. I'm going to be evolving more so towards the actor/eccentric personality as I feel I can write that better and I like that showman in-ring style too. 5) No... <3

RUDO's Quick Note Turmoil Takedown: So Ashley Moore and Riley Quinn double face turn? Weird, dunno if I got that, why would the crowd suddenly cheer these two? On the positive side, Moore finally got off that ddt for a win. Archer vs Malu - Pride Championship @ Savage Lands? Tyler Steel vs. Jett Draven. All I'm gonna say is that if I was Tyler Steel I'd be pissed. Just a lot of living in the Grey area with FPR from Draven. FPR breaks happen on occasion (heat of the moment etc, I've done it) and I can brush off the odd mistake but, man. It may not say things in the rules but there is a general etiquette that I've seen and adhere to, especially with pick up bumping. If you're the one bumping, don't immediately attack; to me that's an FPR break as you haven't, in a sense, reset at all, you've just continued your string of attacks. Rematch? I'd like to see it. Tag Title feud building. If these two teams face off @ Savage Lands we'll get to see if CD can truly stand up to CT 2 on 2. Bray with the ambush! Do you know what would be cool? If Bray brought out a surprise tag partner next week and it was Bates but he is now a tagger/graffiti gangster and they enter the tag division and then there will be one more team to feud with and that's my OCW fantasy booking of the day, thank you. CJ (and handler) is all over this show. AWOL and CQC bringing the hilarious to Turmoil. Good to see their tag division heating up too. And yes, all about RISK. B-17 holy shit hahaha, I actually lol'd at this one. Mugen via hologram; genius. Scumciety are taking over. Refreshing new team. Real threat to those titles. That 450 from Wrex was hilarious. When I saw the "Finisher" prompt pop up on the screen I had completely forgotten about the steal finisher thing and thought he'd adopted a top rope move. Then that happened hahaha. Malu is plotting revenge on the walkouts. HOW DARE THEY! Riot should be interesting indeed. RP of the Night: B-17 (Hospital Nudity) MOTN: Without being biased and choosing my own (which I really enjoyed, thanks for stepping in Ricky), I had to go with Stixx/Flojo based on the pure competitiveness of it.

Can we please get to page 2? Kthxbai

You could have kids, I don't know. What I do know is that Rust Cole and John Morrison's sperm samples were combined in a lab somewhere and that's where the CAW was born. Use that gimmick if you want, free of charge. Genetically engineered human coming to take over OCW.
-
FACS! That was a heel as fuck beat down.
-
It's all good man, like I said, not everyone's a writer or enjoys that part of the fed. If you ever want any advice or to do a combined RP, hit me up on Discord. I see a lot of potential with that CAW.
-
So, doing full show reviews is giving me burnout, hardly gives me time to write RP's so I'll be doing quick points I found interesting about the shows. RUDO's QUICK NOTE RIOT REVIEW: +Damian Bourne’s beat-down of Moore spells feud in the making? Two heels though? +Did H20 visit Valk or is Heather talking shite to wind her up? +Code kicking out of the Jackhammer, then Montgomery kicking out of Code’s finisher. Boss back to back sequence, had me on the edge of the train seat on my way home. +H20 vs. Mugen announcement; fully seek mate, bloody well done ya flamin’ Galah. +Dillinger and Tayy RP with pictures, well written, I’m intrigued as to the debut. +I don’t mean to completely poo-poo it but Tyler Steel’s time to shine felt a bit like “I can’t be fucked, here’s a generic heel promo, bye”. It could have been something to really spotlight his character but instead I felt it was treated like more of an annoyance of having to write. I know not everyone here is a writer but I feel like that CAW could have such an interesting character behind it. +People using L1 instead of down on the D-Pad for breakups. I’ve noticed it a bunch recently. It works for heels when they’re trying to inflict more pain, but otherwise it looks weird. +The Telos/Cyborg brawl; that overhead belly to belly in the locker room was brutal. +Mistico writing in Spanish; no idea what that promo was about. I’m all for having the bi-lingual stuff in promo’s, it can work really well. But unless you speak Spanish you’d have no idea what just happened. All I know was there was a car and some tequila. +Anthony Baker looks like Rust Cohle and John Morrison’s lovechild. Like others said, the theme goes HAM. It bangs bruh. +6 Sensational Saboteurs – WHO ARE DEY? DO DEY KNOW DA WAE? +Flojo said it, but yeah, Valks recovery shoot was real JRPGish it was cool. Made me wanna play some FF7. All in all it was a good show. Great that most of the matches were short in length and the RP's and content is still flowing, feuds are building etc.

RUDO’s IT’S TREMENDOUS, I”M TELLING YOU, TURMOIL TAKEDOWN: + Valk and Riley have a tense interaction. And even with Valkyrie in no shape to defend herself physically, stood her ground even more vehemently than usual. There is a fire lit under little bubba. + Kass with the FACS! That’s a long list of former champs. How long is a season? I would’ve thought that would be a year/every game that comes out? Wouldn’t that be a three year reign? + Captain Alex is back on the Turmoil scene. Looking to bounce back from the loss at WL12, let’s see if he can keep Cozz grounded in their match and pick up a victory. MATCH: CPT. Alex vs. Cozz New look Cozz, I like it. The arm band with the logo is a nice touch. It’s good to see a default design be used and not look super trash. Alex looked like he was gonna run away with this one at the start but the health difference slowly began to close over the course of the match. Alex has a lot of military press moves, which is fine, of course, but I just feel it takes away from his military press signature. Every time he’d hoist someone up there I thought he was hitting his sig, but he wasn’t. Cozz’s move-set is interesting, and I saw a few glimpses of the crazy, tortured soul/mind gimmick he was getting into before his break (the tackle and rapid punches, etc). I’d like to see more vicious moves in there like that, and perhaps taunts that portray that vibe (if that’s what you’re still aiming for, Cozz). Close battle near the end with a clutch kickout from Cozz, but wasn’t able to kick out of the elbow drop from Alex. + Another hilarious box promo from Jackman. I’m glad we still have another 3 weeks of this hahaha. + Is CJ becoming a motivational speaker? Last week with Cheryl, this week with Jackman. Until he begins putting doubt in Jackman’s mind about his partner, and Jackman does the same to CJ. Things are definitely not over between these teams. + MORE NAMES FROM KASS + Soooo…are we gonna get Damian Bourne vs. Malu or something? People have said it before, but you are over promising in your promo’s to a point where you can’t do anything if you lose; your entire RP was a “lie” in a sense. Though it is satisfying seeing a big mouthed newbie getting trampled so…keep at it! MATCH: Nick Bates vs. Benji Moore So is Nick Bates an American Boxer gimmick now with that outfit? Flojo continues to improve on the sticks, showing some grit against a promising new comer. FPR break with the OMG Move on Bates, just remember they need to have an orange body part before using it. Backfist countered into a Stunner was fuckin cool looking, though I think the Stunner may be a claimed Finisher for a couple people. If that was me I'd take it out of my regular moveset. I honestly thought Bates was gonna take this one but Benji was able to hit the fin outta nowhere to pick up the victory. + This RP was hilarious with the whole robe stealing and mocking of Pastor Pete, as well as Pete’s reaction. TABERNACLE! Brilliant, had me almost lol at work. + MORE NAMES 4 DA LIST! BE GONE THOT! + Cozz with a scathing promo on the locker room and management about being underappreciated. If you put on good matches on a consistent basis people will have no choice but to recognise that. MATCH: Pastor Pete vs. CJ O’DONEEEEELLLL vs. Capo I love the Pastor gimmick; it’s fresh and different, and I think it has a lot of mileage. Capo in the robe!!! HAHA! That was gold. Seems like Capo has a few new moves up his sleeve. That diving headscissors to the outside was awesome, too bad the following dive missed Capo. Capo with the cheeky crucifix pin, then the dancing taunt haha. CJ is becoming almost as unsafe as Ricky in this one with his outside dives! I thought that Power of the Punch was gonna seal it but CJ managed to interrupt the victory. Just watch that hovering, Cap, gotta give him room when getting back in the ring. Bit of too and fro before CJ steals the win with the Celtic Knockout. + No luck for Cort’s plea with Sensation. Looks like they’re gonna have to go through CQC if they want those tag titles. MATCH: Jackson Montgomery vs. Tyler Steel I liked that the second attempt on the rolling butterfly's was countered, made it seem like Steel had learned his mistake. Missing that Swanton had to hurt. Few counter battles for good measure. That's what you get for taunting a high flyer when he's got the upper ground JackMo haha. Well, with that win, Tyler Steel has beaten two former world champions I can think of off the top of my head. I want to see more RPs from him though, especially with these wins under his belt. + CJ and Cheryl up a tree! K-I-S-S-I-N-G! CJ really knows how to piss his sister off haha. Not a date though, right? + Aerith/Valk promo. Will Valkyrie ever trust anyone again? Will Aeriths genuine concern and friendship get through Little Bubba's stubborness? I hope so, because someone needs to take out ShowBlitz. + Scumciety? A new addition to the tag team ranks is always welcome. Should be an interesting team to watch. MATCH: Aerith vs Karissa Dawson The counter battle/strike fest was a nice little moment, showing off the strong style tendencies of both women, with Aeriths coming out on top. Another counter battle! This time Karissa having the last laugh. Aeriths is coming ba--nope! SPINKICK! So good. This match was actually really fuckin engaging, I didn't know who was gonna win. And it shows you don't need half an hour on the match to have a good one, MOTN so far for me. Congrats to Aerith. GO TO SCHLEEPERUUUUU! + Shep goes to town on the roster and gives the best promo I've seen from him in a long time. An AWOL vs CQC feud is what the RIOT tag division needs right now. + More names from Kass. The list is a long one. You could probably turn that scroll into a DnD item. Cursed of course. And if you read it, it is never ending, and you must make a DC 20 wisdom save or be lost in the list for eternity. + JackMo still has the FI. Hopefully he can rack up some wins and cash in at the right time. I love his RP’s, always hilarious. As stated, he’s held gold before and will again. This loss is just a temporary setback. + Drago, a good brother. Pep talk for the sis is sure to help. Will Dragana make a championship run? Find out on the next Dragonball Z. MATCH: Code Terror vs. Scumciety Can’t expect much less from two teams of heels than constant interference in each others corners and attacking the illegal man haha. Plenty of that going round. The paper champs aren’t looking too good at the 9min mark, both double yellow compared to a single yellow on Jay on the opposing team. Jay is definitely an interesting new character, his moveset is pretty cool to watch, has a few moves not a lot (if anyone) of people use. Code has lot of clutch counters, so did Wrex. Looks like we have new contenders in the house with that win from Scumciety. MOTN tonight was Aerith/Karissa for sure. Fast paced and action packed.

RUDO’s RIP ROARING RIOT REVIEW: + DRAGO IS HERE BUBBA! That music is crack up. Also, may want to change the colour of the font on the titantron to white or something so it’s easier seen. Love the little arrow shot, ode to the hunter gimmick. Loved the promo; showing respect to Leonheart, announcing his part time schedule, and a surprise appearance from BUBBA! + Tyler Steel finally puts forward an RP. While it didn’t really shine much light on his character it was a snippet of a glimpse into what he is in OCW to prove. Let’s see how my tag partner fares against him later on in the show. + Sid Harrison RP. I don’t know who he is, nor his handler, so I’m not familiar with his past in OCW, but that RP was hilarious. I can already tell he may be one I keep my eye on purely for the character lol’s. MATCH: Capo vs. Tyler Steel Nice short match to kick off the show. The match was fairly even throughout, no-one being more than one body shade away from the other. I think if Capo had been more aggressive instead of just trying to counter everything he may have gotten a few more moves in. You can do it, my guy! Steel hits the fin, Capo kicks out! That’s the one, my guy! Unfortunately Cap gets caught with another one and can’t kick out a second time. + Code Jackman RP was funny as fuck hahaha. Nice tie in to having to wear B-17 t-shirts in there. The Go-Pro angle is a great idea. Tay, grab some deodorant spray for your tag partner as a house warming gift. + TTT are in the house! 2K really need to do something about the title belts and overlayer clothing meshes working together rather than cutting through each other, hopefully (but probably not) in 2k19. Loving Ryu as Kass’ hype man in this one. Then HOLY FUCKING SHIT, SENSATION! Dropping that bombshell like it’s just another Tuesday! Savage Lands is already looking interesting as fuck! MATCH: Benji Moore vs. Sid Harrison The NEXT BIG TING, Benjamin Moore with a whole new attire change. The new Jookie perhaps? Sid Harrison got that snail trail belly hair going on lol. I was intrigued once I saw the Leonheart handler name, then I knew it was rookie vs. Vet. Benji was doing quite well considering the experience level of Sid’s handler but was never able to truely take the lead at any point. Nice quick match, Benji goes down to butt town as Sid hits the Stone Cold Bummer for the win. + This was a long ass RP but the interpersonal banter between all four guys was great. Good to see the makeshift tag team of Cohle and Quartz coming together and gelling, backing each other up, backhanded compliments and all. And the ME gets made into to a tag team extravaganza! Will be interesting to see how Rust Quartz handle their first tag team outing. + Turmoil’s Tag Champs psyching each other up for their match against Trance/Lee. Let’s see if they can start their tag reign with a win. + My man MJF letting it be known that he is better than AC Cobra...or is he? Find out next time on...SAVAGE LANDS! Good little build up here, I’m sure AC won’t take that lying down. + CLARK EFFECT: w/ Ashley Moore. Moore is like a bratty teenager; it’s a great heel gimmick. Selfie obsessed, social media enthusiast, a slave to her followers. I dunno about them both taking a selfie at the end, I’m almost certain Stacy would still be pissed about Moore’s comments, but ah well. MATCH: Lee/Trance vs. Celtic Dragons What does it say on your shirt, Lee? Genectic Superstar? I can’t quite read the font. Those tag belts look good, can’t wait til Hollywood Money has them around their waists. Easy on, Wrex, wtf?! Putting Ricky out of commission! Wait, why did Trance tag in with CJ? Shouldn’t it be Trance/Lee against CJ? Tree of Woe / Cannonball spot was NOIIICE! CJ being unsafe with that Shooting Star to the outside. It’s cool now being able to recognise certain moves of CAW’s, like Lee’s pop-up powerbomb, Trance’s diving leg lariat, and CJ’s Wasteland/senton combo. CJ was able to get the 630 off for the win. Hopefully this whole thing gets explained on Turmoil cos that was hella confusing. + Telos ain’t waiting for no man! This guy has no qualms about putting hands on staff members. Could his impatience be his downfall against AC? + A back and forth exchange between Heather and H20; bitch be cray! Why would H20 be visiting Valkyrie unless she was making her way towards the Good Light? + Who is this Tayy character? Seems like a fresh face who could be interesting to keep an eye on. MATCH: AC Cobra vs. Telos After Telos’ last outing I thought he might have been able to keep up with AC Cobra a bit better, but AC was just one step ahead the whole time. Small FPR issue with the stomp into sub but only minor. I think Telos will bounce back from that loss, after getting his face bounced off the canvas by AC. + After Jackman’s 30 days are up I think we may have to have a rematch for the homeless bum gimmick. + TTT be scheming to get out of the stipulations of their Savage Lands match. Will it work? + Telos on some supervillain shit. “So, we meet again, Bruce Wayne”. Cyborg isn’t gonna take getting slapped; if that isn’t fuel to beat the fuck outta Telos whenever they meet in the ring, I don’t know what is. MATCH: CQC vs. H20 TAG TEAMS YO! CQC, glad they had a combined team entrance. It’s cool seeing this post-Lution evolution of everyone’s CAW’s, not only in this match but on Turmoil and Riot as a whole, really like seeing the new attires and moves and character progression through RP’s. Cort nailing that diving DDT! Timely tag by Cohle as he runs out of counters. I get H20 is a heel, but hitting people numerous times when they’re in your corner seems overkill, especially when it felt like Quartz wasn’t able to counter them for whatever reason. All was remedied though, as Quartz suplex’s H20 into the ring, and the crowd even popped for it haha. Nice counter battle between Quartz and Cort, and another timely tag from CQC, really seem to be gelling as a team. Finally Cort is able to tag in H20, with a tag grapple no less. That double team move was made for those two to use. Cort’s just like “FUCK YOU REF, LEMME GET SOME O’ OL’ QUARTZ!”, and he does. H20 able to get some high flying and kicking action in against Cohle. This ref earned his paycheck tonight, he’s been getting thumped. I think after that dive from H20 nearly landing on the steps he should be in the next Safety First match against Ricky. Again some great double team moves by CQC (pause). The DVD ends it! Congrats to CQC. + OUR HERO with some plans of his own to counteract TTT? Juicy. + Bobby HEEL TURN! I think that was great, setting up the retirement angle then swerving everyone with this narcissistic, microphone fiend character. I’ve always praised Bobby’s writing and this was no different. Can’t wait to see what happens next with him. MOTN: Tonight I had to go with the Main Event. CQC overcoming two of the best on Riot was great, especially seeing the teamwork these guys were putting in. Good show everyone, onto the next!

Super Turmoil 203: Tournament Edition!

I thought so (re: music). As for the moves, I'm the same way, trying to use more of my moveset in matches rather than just grapples and strikes from the front. -
Super Turmoil 203: Tournament Edition!
Justin Jehst replied to Mr.Sensation's topic in The Daily Suplex
My folks came over and surprised me for my bday weekend so didn't have as much time to get this out or watch the show. RUDO’s SMDFTB SASSY SUPER TURMOIL SHAKEDOWN: + We start with the purple brands champion, #AustinLee, bringing his newly won championship to the crowd for a bit of a show off. #flexin-on-em’. Then out comes Archer, feigning injury, luring the crowd into a sense of sympathy, until revealing the hoax and drawing the ire of the crowd. Heel shit. “Fries to Go”, LOL! Heel shit. So Archer has his own title now? EnTITLEment at its finest. New Era of Turmoil? Bring it on. + Dragana and Johnny Law drop some history bombs to build up to Dragana’s goal of facing Sentai Hare. She’ll need to take out Flojo tonight to advance. Sentai vs. Dragana is destiny, BAYBAY!!! + H20 with another great promo, gracing the purple brand with his Good Light. Looking forward to seeing him against Cort Marshall later in the show. MATCH: Kass © vs. KD I saw the timestamp and went “JESUS, 37mins?!”, but I don’t think I ended up skipping any of it. Seeing how much damage KD took in the first ten minutes I thought Kass was gonna run away with it but KD crawled back to make it more even as the match progressed. Some awesome spots in this one including the announce table brainbuster, leg drop off the ladder onto the chair across the throat of KD, and KD slamming Kass’ head down onto the chair with the Muryo Slam (I can’t remember what it’s called so it’s called the Muryo Slam now, deal with it). That sub finish was fuckin knarly, never seen that move before. + I agree with Kass on this one, should be using the interviewers names by now. Apart from that, the RP was fun to read. Should have been a couple “dookieshoe” replacements in there but what ya gonna do? Looking forward to seeing if Flojo can bring some of that magic back to the ring later. + KD has a son?! Oh damn! Wonder if he’ll be a face or a heel in this sitch. + Kass deservedly proud of himself after fending off KD. Ryu wins in alternate timelines. you can’t stop him because you can’t stop time unless you have a level 9 spell slot and you’re a wizard Harry. + Cort/H20 meet up before they face off tonight. H20 as always being an arrogant slimeball, while Cort just chills and throws cheeky jabs at the LHW champ. I’m hoping Cort can step up against the champ, it would put him in a really good place on RIOT; definitely has the potential. + This RP with Cheryl and Danny Boyd was great as it showed a peek into a more vulnerable and caring side of Cheryl before she returned to her self-obsessed self by the end of the RP. It will be interesting to watch how her character evolves in the coming weeks. MATCH: Cort vs. H20 FUCK YEAAAHH!! That new Cort attire/entrance is lit AF as the kids say these days. Loving the new look and music. And does H20 have new music too? This match was so damn good, it was basically a counter battle the whole time up until the finish. Corts moveset has that very 80’s vibe to it, it’s rad as hell. And H20 seemed to be doing more flippy shit than usual, or maybe I’m not remembering that well. In any case, this was one of the best matches I’ve seen in a while from the back and forth, inside/outside flow, well timed taunts and generally keeping me immersed. The final counter off the sig into the Superkick was so good too, and even though Cort lost I still felt like both men came off looking strong. + Valkyrie RP. So she’s still a little banged up but seems like she’s gonna recover, seeing as she was able to get up and get a can of Coke. I’m sure her eventual in ring return will get a huge pop from the crowd. MATCH: Flojo vs. Dragana Really enjoyed this one. Honestly was way closer than expected; Flojo has really improved a lot in ring and it’s showing in her matches against top tier opponents. I like that Flojo has unorthodox moves in her moveset, it really helps set her apart from the other ladies in the division. Dragana, in the end, 2stronk and picks up the win with a cool little finishing spot. + This Ashley Moore RP did two things for me. Confirmed the character is a bitch and put over her DDT finisher. With Echo in the background, I wonder if they’ll end up feuding. + Flojo looks forward to a rematch someday; so do I. + A lot going on in this RP, main thing though, Cheryl and Riley’s argument/mini-feud is apparently over, as long as they can work together and not clash again. After the make up talk, it seems like Riley’s words of encouragement have lit a fire under Cheryl. + CLARK EFFECT – I was in this so I’ll leave it to others to comment. + Nick Bates and Benji Moore trade words in a build up to their match. Haven’t seen Bates wrestle in a minute so will be interesting to watch. MATCH: OCW Pride Championship Taiga vs. Malu vs. Mistico I must admit, Mistico held his own in this match against two veterans on the sticks. Malu is a dang beast, hefty motherfucker with spin kicks that I could only imagine feeling like getting punched by an angry Mark Hunt. As for the match, I felt it flowed pretty well with all three guys trading spots/move combos. That missed shooting star press to the outside looked like it hurt; ouchies. Thought Malu was gonna get DQ’d with that chair shot but didn’t realise it was No DQ. Good match by all, but no one kicks out of Malu’s POWERSlam. + Wrex making the stipulations for the match with Jackman? I didn’t realise the homeless homeboy had that much pull. If you got the clout, may as well use it to your advantage I guess haha. Plus, there’s no way that agent is fucking with Wrex. + The 0.5% make another appearance. So Aerith match next week, and Karissa vs. Stixx? I can dig that. + Damian Bourne: first RP I’ve seen from the guy. Things I learned about his character; he’s an abrasive, entitled asshole. He’s confident, but probably to a fault, making challenges to legends and champions. He does not value tag titles as much as other titles, which is a shame. Perhaps he should face some tag team division wrestlers to test his mettle. + Mistico seems to be pretty peeved he lost his title, showing a more aggressive side of his character. It wasn’t clear until the last leg of the match who was going to win. Next match you get, Mistico, keep your opponent in the ring; don’t let him leg it up the ramp with your title. And don’t try and put your opponent away until it looks like their on their last legs. Ok, too many leg references, I’ll stop now. + JackMo speaks was hilarious. JackMo drank straight from the cow, and he turned out just fine. That’s a great way to promo without having to write anything; so to those who never put content up for shows, or those who put in the minimum, you can do like JackMo and KD and do a video RP so no writing is necessary, if that is what’s stopping you. This one was great, using the face replacing filter. JackMo has the FI, so when will he cash in?! + Jackman and Tay with words for the tag division. Any time you boys want it, Hollywood Money is ready! And Code is still relentless in mocking Wrex… All I can say is keep your head on a swivel in that match later cos he’s probably going to throw everything including the kitchen sink at you; and I mean literally throw things at you. MATCH: Karissa vs. Stixx Ah, so from earlier reading I thought this was happening next week, but it seems the opening was meant for this show. Loved the catch off the tope rope dive - that was cool. Pretty even match, I don’t think I’ve ever seen these two handlers play each other before so that made it interesting as well. The end sequence was great, countering Cheryl, taunting to get up, then hitting the running fin for the win. + HM segment, will let others comment. + Valkyrie RP: some creepy guy who I thought was a weird rape-o coming in to do some molests, actually turned out to be someone Valk knows…maybe? Wasn’t very clear so I guess we’ll find out in the coming weeks. MATCH: SAFETY FIRST Ricky vs. Mugen Mugen straight out the gate with the cultural appropriation headdress. The SJW’s will be swarming Sensations office any time now. Fuck this match was unsafe, but holy shit it was fun to watch. So many weapon spots I can’t list them all, but a couple of my favs were Mugen’s counter neckbreaker onto the ladder, Mugen missing the senton on the outside onto the ladder, and the Japanese table not breaking (“I AM THE TABLE!”). If that top rope arm drag sent Ricky onto the steel steps I was gonna start a “holy shit” chant on the train. With Ricky battered and bruised, Mugen puts him away with the fin and butt drops the table for good measure. + CJ, the nice guy he is, perks up the still disgruntled Cheryl, but gets snapped by his sister. And after Riley and Cheryl had made up earlier, perhaps this will create another gap in their friendship? MATCH: MAIN EVENT – Loser Lives in a Box for 30 Days Wrex vs. Code Jackman Again, this was another one I thought was more evenly contested than I had thought it might be, but Code held his own in this one against one of the top Turmoil talents. From the get go Wrex was out for blood, chasing Code down wherever he could, bringing weapons into the fray, and hitting him in the nuts. Both men had timely counters during the bout but I felt Code left some moves on the table in places after them; punch his face man! The pin after the announce table break was telling; Wrex is not done yet. Ladder powerbomb; the pain continues for Jackman. Able to mount some return offence, Jackman begins to level the health playing field, but it isn’t enough to stop a return comeback from Wrex, who cheekily steals Code’s fin for the win. Who the heck is that helping Wrex take out Jackman?! MOTN: for me, personally it was Cort vs. H20, I just felt the flow was awesome and it was immersive as fuck, which I like when watching these matches. Thanks to anyone who helped put the show together. -
I edited out the ladder bridge break because it was a horrible glitch. Basically Capo rolled out of the ring, got caught in a lying down animation on the ladder and then it glitches out an just broke, it looked horrible.

Been a busy weekend/week at work so been trying to get through the review for the shows. RUDO’s WONDEROUSLY WACKY WRESTLUTION PRIME WRITE UP + Mez Murdock comes in firing. Bit of OCW history in there for us rookies too. Pumped for the ME of this one. + Mistico with a suprise plan to beat the Pride champ eh? Looking forward to seeing that unravel later. MATCH: Future Investment Ladder Match The entrances in this one were edited really well with the timing, etc, as was the match (using multiple angles). My pick going into this one was JackMo, I just had a feeling he’d take it out, and I wasn’t wrong. That finish was awesome too, such a heel thing to do; run up the ladder while the other guy is distracted and steal the victory from him. JackMo / Irving feud anyone? Great match overall. + Gene interviews Dragana. Little bit of a look into a possible post-Lution feud with Sentai Hare? I’m guessing that’s what the bunny ears were signifying, though Dragana being a Turmoil star it may not be correct (unless Dragana is on both consoles like Ricky and Kass). MATCH: Pride Championship: Mistico vs. Archer © Mistico took it to Archer with the leg work in this one. I really liked the psychology of using his own strength against him and then eventually tapping him out to a leg sub after two 2 counts off of finishers. Short lived title reign from Archer, which is a shame as I really like the CAW/character and he would have made a great champion to RP as I think too. + Mixtape release! Funny how it goes Drake (ok, I get this one, one of the most successful hip-hop/RnB artist of our generation) but then drops off to 21 Savage and then drops even further to Lil Xan... There is a list a mile long of rappers you could’ve chosen hahaha. Anyway, the Cheryl diss was pretty crack up, and I know Echo is gonna be putting out more songs on Turmoil/RIOT in the future for our entertainment. + Mistico with a post-match explanation of his tactics. Commentators are right about the blessing/curse aspect of being the champ, I hope you do the belt justice, Mistico! Congrats. + H20 and Heather both bigging themselves up before their matches. Have to say, H20 is one of, if not the hardest working dude in the company RP-wise. Running 3 characters that I know of and still putting in work for all of them. MATCH: Dragana vs. Karissa Dawson Enjoyed the back and forth in this one. To be honest I was looking forward to seeing who would hit the piledriver first but it never came! Surprised to see another sub finish. Rematch for the piledriver finish plox. + Echo/Moore RP: Moore learning the hard way that wins don’t come easy in OCW. Women’s division on Turmoil is stacking up, though, there’ll be plenty of opponents to face. + Wagner laying down the heat; BRING HIM THE MEAT, BAYBAY!!! Time for the triple threat! MATCH: Quartz vs. Cohle vs. Wagner Rust Cohle’s entrance attire was so out of left field haha. Since when was he about the shiny, flashy getup’s? Ring attire underneath was cool though. The story of the match was told pretty well I felt; the two heels would double team the face (pause) until they had an opportune moment to hit each other to get the upper hand. The double corner body splash spot was rad, rarely see that. So was Cohle’s dive over the stairs to the outside. Pick up fin for the win? Shouldn’t that have been an auto redo? Telos coming out at the end was an awesome surprise to set up for next show. + Valk vs. Cheryl interview. Lots of back and forth insults from these two, the heat building up for their match, which I’m really looking forward to. Will be interesting to see which way these two will go after this feud. + Quartz and Rust forming a tag team? Gonna be super dysfunctional and provide plenty of funny RP’s I’m sure. MATCH: Women’s Championship: Sentai Hare © vs. Heather Angelo Two of RIOT’s top handlers going one on one here. The ref took ages to count the fall after the table facebuster spot lol. Such a good match, and Jay was right, last ten minutes were fire! So many spots, back and forth with counters (including finishers), dives, springboards, sub attempts, just so much goodness. Congrats to Sentai for retaining. + Dragana and Asian ref RP – someone got a translator for that one? + JackMo celebrates his FI win. Great RP. I’ve always enjoyed JackMo’s RP’s, always very well written and descriptive with hilarious dialogue. Looking forward to more of him on Turmoil now that he holds that golden key briefcase. MATCH: Mez Murdock vs. Tobin Frost This was just a god dang war! The double powerbomb onto steps spot was brutal. I wasn’t here for the duration of the history behind this match but I can appreciate the years long rivalry coming to a head at the grandest stage in OCW. Such a good match with all the weapon variety/table spots/stairs shenanigans and downright competitiveness. All down to the wire until the counter into Tobins favoured Powerbomb for the win. Thank you to everyone involved in putting together the show, and Jay, you are appreciated my man, what a slog to go through to get this event up put together. Everyone who participated at all, RP or match, well done. MOTN was probably Sentai/Angelo but close second was the ME. Main show review to come.

RUDO’s RIP ROARING RIOT REVIEW + The champ is here! H20 makes his entrance to RIOT only to slag off everyone else on the roster. Accompanied by his missus, Heather Angelo, the pair state their cases for taking home the gold in their respective match ups at Lution. If Kass loses to KD at Lution, I’d love to see him and H20 feud, though heel vs. heel can be tricky. + Ashley Moore promo pre-match. I would have said it almost felt unnecessary, like it was just done to “have an RP on the show” until I saw the entrance with her on her phone. A “mean girl” meets “social media addict/model” could be an interesting gimmick. MATCH: Flojo vs. Ashley Moore I enjoyed this one; pretty quick with lots of move variety. FPR stuff has already been touched on so won’t go over that. That Rikishi butt to face spot was so disrespectful! I like it. I’m liking both CAW’s movesets too. And yeah, this iteration of Flojo is my favourite so far, with the attire, entrance dance moves, etc, feels more like a defined character. I like the Shining Enziguiri finisher too; grats Flojo on the win. + Kat is back! She is laying down threats left, right, and centre. Will the OCW referee’s be receiving more beatdowns from the roster in the coming weeks? Seriously, there will be none left soon; a bunch of us will need to make referee Alt’s just to keep this place going. + Post match Moore/Flojo interaction. Moore showing restraint not to pop off with that DDT. I think we’ve got a hot head on our hands. Let’s see what happens the next time she loses. + JEHST/CAPO RP – I don’t usually review my own stuff but I have to say, it was a fun little RP to write up. Jehst is enjoying being surrounded by money again. Thanks, Capo, lol. MATCH: Irving vs. Steel This was a close one, for sure. Never more than one colour away from each other the whole time which kept the suspense up. FPR from Tyler Steel has been on point so far in his matches, including tonight, though I wish I would see at least a paragraph RP from him at some stage as he’s been getting booked. Seth, surpisingly, takes the L on this one with a walk up fin. Well done, Tyler, not an easy feat. + As always, hilarious promo from Cort. Shep’s dialogue was pretty good too, showing him as the more responsible member of the team. When are we going to see those two team up again? GIVE ME TAG TEAMS RIOT! + MJF with yet another arrogant, obnoxious promo, this time on the biggest interview stage on RIOT; the Clark Effect. Great writing, really paints MJF in a certain way and keeps him consistent. Great RP. + Colby Young pops in for a little chat to the crowd. Momentum after one victory can easily be brought to a halt. It will be interesting to see if he can walk the walk after talking the talk. I also want to see another side of him than just “I’m the best, I’m gonna win”. MATCH: Mugen vs. Cort Marshall This one was fuckin great. Cort was probably the underdog in this one seeing as Mugen had recently taken out the number 1 contender for the OCW Title, but he was winning until the end. Lots of action in ring and out. The ending was great too, fin counter into fin pin. Kindness prevails. + Capo and Kass putting in work with this RP. Kass and H20 has been hyped for so long, I’m pumped to see how it plays out. Kass has the bragging rights to be able to talk smack because he can back it up...my guy. + I...penguins...Wallace & Grommet? That’s how I imagined this whole thing in my head; a claymation sequence. Entertaining but completely ridiculous, hahaha. + Mez / Frost RP – hype for the ME for PRIME was on point. No dialogue needed, just a good ol’ brawl and verbal spat. Looking forward to this one for sure. MATCH: Valmont vs. Trance Lots has been said about this one already but damn, Valmont hung on for dear life until the end. Frogsplash lol was great, but ended up hitting the Codebreaker in the end for the victory. + Mugen makes his final prep before his battle through time and space with Ryu. I wonder what shenanigans are going to take place at Lution with this match. Artifacts vs. Artifacts? + KD speaking on his Lution match. Bit down after his loss to Mugen, but let’s hope his cardio training is enough to take it to Kass at WL and make their match top level. + Valk RP was great. Her being handcuffed by her new manager to stop her from getting herself into trouble was genius after her beatdown on security recently. The diss track was fun to read too. Valk, you better win at Lution and put ShowBlitz to rest. + 3 way cutscene RP was great, and having had edited stuff like this together I know the effort it takes to get all those clips recorded and edited together so well done. Also a great setup to the triple threat match which I’m pumped for as I could see any one of these guys walking out the victor. + Strong words from Nate and Parker, getting personal and making this match really stand out as a “one to watch”. Even not seeing much of either of these two after only being here since Jan, I’m intrigued to see OCW history with this one. MATCH: H20 vs. Kass !!!!! Man this one was a good one, action all over the show, counter battles, etc. Didn’t seem like either was coloured until nearly halfway through. The ending was great with H20 going over, sets up future match ups. If H20 loses the LHW title perhaps he can go for the OCW title. The Bobby Minio appearance was awesome too, finally getting in some kind of revenge before heading into Lution. Overall this one had great build ups for Lution and I’m super pumped to be a part of Lution for the first time. MOTN: H20 / Kass and Mugen / Cort were the contenders but H20 going over the champ just inches the ME over the line in this one.
