All the matches on this LIVE episode were really good imo, enjoyable to watch. Everett vs Doc is always gonna be good; they're two brothers who I'm assuming have been playing each other in these games for years so the chemistry is most certainly there. Really liked Heathers attire and colour scheme. Quartz looking jacked as fuck. I'm psyched to get back into the swing of things. #nosummerlull

RUDO’s TOP TEN RIOT TAKEAWAYS 1) Digging Acero’s outfit, gives off that Azteca vibe. I remember the first time I saw him I didn’t really get it, but now it’s coming together more cohesively. While Darren’s attire portrayed a form of insanity, his entrance did not. I would suggest something where he goes nuts, like the dude from Sanity (can’t remember his name) where he flails around a bit in the ring, or the Loose Cannon entrance. Anyways, my two cents. And Darren, just watch the crapples buddy. If they reverse you, you have to either reverse their next move or let them hit you. But decent first outing, mixed up the moves a decent amount and had an interesting move-set for sure haha. Valkyrie dab. 2) Women’s FI should be interesting considering it has basically two tag teams going head to head not only against their rivals but against each other. Can their team-work hold up or will they take no prisoners to earn that title shot? 3) Mens FI - who’s in it aside from Shep and Cort? Is it Tre and Telos? That side of the game is maintaining the heat no matter who else steps in the ring with them through this blood feud. Wouldn’t be surprised if they both forgot about winning the match and just went H.A.M. on each other. Having Tre and Telos slide into the feud now is good to give them some story going into Lution. 4) I admire Blacksmith’s attempts to lure Kass out of retirement for Lution but I don’t think it’s gonna work, sorry bud---wait… Did he just chokeslam Valk?! LOL! And used the Black Mass on her as well...Damn. With Valk using the Springboard Cutter (heel turn confirmed!) I’m starting to wonder if there’s something going on for real...Or is it just ITALIAN COLLUSION!! ACCENDI! 5) Nate & Pugh & Tibby (if it happens) will be a match to watch for sure. Three legends going toe to toe - it’s Lution season baybay!!! 6) Good debut for Cort’s new lady. I dug the colour scheme, and the red cape really pops in that entrance. I was also hyped to see someone land an aerial finisher lol, it was a perfect time to go for it (either de-buffed or no revs). Looking forward to seeing how she progresses character-wise going forward. Evelyn seems to be an interesting character, even though I dislike supernatural gimmicks in general, but her interaction with Fugaz was not what I would expect from someone who claims to be a demon. 7) The mystery man promo scares me. WHAT IS HAPPENING??!!!!!!! *Wrestlution curiosity intensifies* 8) H2O trying to get a match with Drago? I thought Drago was battling through time and space with Mugen against TTT? Oh wait, I forgot about time travel and the alternate universe; surely there’s a Drago in there somewhere that could fight Harvey? 9) AC and Everett RPs were great, had me lol’ing. Interesting to see if this leads into a feud as there seems to be tension with AC not getting the same reaction as Everett with the people. Don’t turn AC! Don’t do it! 10) CQC winning that ME was the best course of action in that it legitimises them as tag team champions, able to take out two top dogs with superior teamwork. But B-17...OMG!!! Beating up Doc Green and going FULL HEEL! How dare you?! Guess it’ll be B-17 vs. Doc at Lution then?

RUDO’s TURMOIL TOP 10 TAKEAWAYS: 1) Turmoil rookies are stepping up and RPing. Great to see the commitment, keep it up. 2) Solomon Caine def. TLBS. HUGE win for Caine considering TLBS probably should be the International champion right now. That should propel Caine towards fighting more top level competition. Also, the salami gag got me. 3) So is the mystery man Dillinger? Big D? I’m getting a feeling, though I’m probably wrong, I just want that slimeball back. 4) The Experience (?) def. Scumciety. Damn, b. The champs lose against a rookie tag team. Perhaps the tag division isn’t dead? If the belts are unified and stuck on one brand then there is basically no need for teams on the other brand, which is kind of a shame, but I get it. No point having a title for a division of 3 teams. Also, is Keith still here or did they just hi-jack his character for the RP? Confused. 5) Benji being consistent lately with the RP’s which is great, keep going man. The stick skills are there, you could be THE NEXT BIG TING! 6) Bray needs this face change to work to build heat for the match at Lution, but it’s incredibly easy to do against such a character as Archer. I think this may be a sleeper hidden gem match for Lution, I just have a feeling. Plenty of room to get ugly between these two characters. 7) TLBS - you can drop the Kass prodding now, he ain’t coming out of retirement to fight you...unless he is…? *THINKING EMOJI* 8) Did not expect Quartz to get bodied so badly, even though I know Bray is great at the game. Hey, it happens. I’m sure he’ll get a chance down the line to redeem himself. 9) The women's division on Turmoil is healthy as fuck right now, just need more heels, or at least a couple of tweeners and we’ll have feud combo’s for days. I’m intrigued as to who the next challenger for Blaine will be. 10) The CCW title match; wow. First of all, I have to give Adam props for putting the belt on the line in a multi-man match where it was really out of his control as to who may win. But that’s a fighting champion. On the other hand, to lose the belt so quickly I think damages the titles rep after months of build. I dunno if there was a reason for the match outside of an exciting Turmoil OUT OF NOWHERE main event, but hey, it is what it is, and gave us a surprise with Code coming out on top. It may have been sudden, but what’s done is done, and I’m always one to look at the bright side so what comes of this is new stories, new challengers, new feuds. I really hope Code steps up to the role of champion and pumps out a great championship run. Turmoil is on your shoulders now, bud; do us proud.

I honestly don't think Doc and Wrex were skipping over things on purpose, they repeatedly stated they were trying to keep the podcast under 30mins, so that's my assumption as to why the RPs weren't all combed over in detail and they jokingly used the "words bruh" phrase. Personally I like the longer casts that do explain a little backstory etc, but I get not everyone has time to cast that long or wants to. If they weren't aiming for a 30mins or less cast I'm sure they would have gotten into the RPs a bit more. Don't water your shit down for H2O and Tyson, Doc, I'm one of the guys who enjoys depth and consistency when it comes to RP's. I learned a long time ago that you aren't going to please everyone with your RP style or character, so just do it for yourself and if people like it other than yourself then it's just a bonus. edit: written before seeing Doc Green's reply.

RUDO’s ROAD TO GLORY RANDOM THOUGHTS AND TAKEAWAYS + The majority of RP’s were just final words building up to the matches, which is sorta what PPV RP’s should be unless they’re pushing a story forward beyond the PPV. Good to see people RPing and also some video packages in there as well. Would have liked an RP from Danny Watts considering he won the damn BR, but shout out to the other guys in the match who put some material in for the show. + Drago and H2O certainly heating up, got me with that little H2O face swerve. Can they please fight each other in an underwater P3 Bonanza studio at Lution? + International title match was actually a 3-way handicap; TLBS vs. Benji vs. Archer +3 ropes. Cannot believe neither guy pulled their opponent into the middle of the ring. Good chance they would be champion. Oh well. Better luck next time I guess. + Dragana vs. Terra @ Lution confirmed??!! I appreciate the twist here, going with the opposite of a blood feud, fighting a clean battle of honor against each other. WIll it happen though, or did I misread the literature and they meant to share the ring as a tag team? + CQC are back together! FACE TURN! I liked it. I wasn’t sure if that was gonna happen or if Quartz was done and wanted to get amongst singles competition but I was hype when he came out during the match. A cool story point during that match was that Rust was beating the hell out of both Inception members by himself while Quartz watched on from the corner, which showed that the accusations of Rust needing Quartz weren’t all that founded in truth at all. Great team showing, even got in the Oxidation. + Women's 6-Man was great, and what an underdog story told in the ring. I was thinking Valk had it there for a sec and man what a comeback that would have been. Great attire schemes from both sides, as you all may know, that kinda consistency is something I appreciate when it comes to attires and ‘looking like a team’. And then the speech afterward from Valk; damn. No happy ending, b. + Ok maybe the whole H2O and Drago thing is gonna wait til post-Lution cos it now looks like P3 is gonna be aiming to take down Spider and Matsuda in a BATTLE FOR SPACE & TIME...2!!! Fuck. If this happens it will be proper mental. + Main Events were fucking insane. Wrex vs. B was an interesting competition where everyone thought it was over but both guys gave it everything they had, kicking out of things left right and center, spots all over the place, B finally landing the elbow only to have Wrex kick out at 1. And then the OCW title match; match of the year contender for sure. Pugh going to the top rope, wake up taunt, jump down, then backhand chop was the funniest shit and was just a great heel moment. They both just had great chemistry and really showed why they’re at the top. It was a good show, great ME’s, but I just felt like there was a lot less build to Lution matches than I thought there might be. Perhaps more will be revealed between now and Lution, in-fact there has to be, but yeah, I figured peeps would use the PPV to announce their matches and use the lead up to build it. All in all entertaining show though, I am pumped to be on the road to Lution now.

RUDO’s RIOT REVIEW - SCATTERED THOUGHTS As usual, here’s some random thoughts from RIOT: + I like that Jake is taking the initiative to bring rookies onto a platform for RPing with the Tayy segments. It gives them time to present themselves and give us a taste of their character. IMO, only problem with Elliot’s part was that he went after a championship + called out some of the best players here. Then he gets bodied by KD. So the more interesting thing will be how he bounces back character-wise and plays off that loss after promising big things. Also, I thought he was a face being an “angel” and all; why he go for chair in match? + H2O vs. Drago is heating up as Harvey further pushes the heel-ish vibes. Will this be a match made for Lution? How will the heel H2O and face (I perceive him as one anyway) Minio? Are KD and Tyson heels now by proxy or? In any case it’s created an interesting dynamic amongst the ranks of Inception. + I enjoyed the tension in the Golden/Cort promo. The calm and collected Golden trying to steer the rightfully angry Cort Marshall away from doing anything stupid, but as we found out, he ended up going furious anger on Sheperd and his ride. I wish online had blood cos this feud needs it. Badly. + We got to see a new side of Telos’ character, kinda like a heel Luke Cage kinda vibe when he’s visiting the old timers at the barbershop. I really want to see Telos’ character and backstory come through as he’s a promising mid-card guy at this point and I’ve seen him go ham in matches so sky’s the limit really. + I don’t know what Aisu’s character is supposed to be, and I’ve said it in the chat, but the demon neck paint just took me out a bit. I just dun like it. He was like Sin Cara and Finn Balor got squished together. Rusty, if you want a custom mask graphic hit me up cos I think the default luchadore options in WWE are pretty lame usually so let's cook up some CUSTOM SHIT BOIIIIIII!!! As well as that, the return of Damian Bourne was a little lackluster. I was expecting him to at least look happy to be back, especially since he’s supposedly a face now, but he was brooding and angry looking in that entrance. + Just when you think P3 can’t get crazier, they go underwater lol. Like always, entertaining and crazy as fuck. + Solomon came off more like an edgy face in his promo here with his SO, so now I’m not sure how to think of him. Is he actually a good guy who’s misunderstood, or are him and his SO heels? I dunno, but I’m looking forward to seeing how his story plays out and which direction he ends up going in the long run. + Book Billy Saturn. I wanna see his CAW + he’s been RPing and I wanna see if he can back up his cocky persona in the ring. + El Parca RPing is good cos RIOT needs some fresh faces to spice things up. Possibly revitalise the tag scene there with Aisu? Lucha tag teams may be cliche, but IMO they work. Same offer as I gave to Rust, Prince, you want a custom mask design hit me up. + Fatterness, lol! As always, quality stuff from these two guys. With Everett’s win over Drago at the last PPV I’m really looking forward to seeing the young gun come up against one of the greatest LHW’s in OCW history at RtG. + Good to see some more character development from FloJo and Blaine here especially leading up to the 6 man at RtG. Even when intimidating FloJo she still put her over a little by mentioning her match with Dragana where she showed what she was capable of. Made me wanna see a FloJo vs Blaine title match to be honest. + “Valkyrie: Maybe I am Ysolda! Maybe I don't need OCW to be happy!” + MSPaint art is always great. P3 vs. TTT imminent?! + I really loved this Terra/Dragana RP. There was just something about the scene on the tape that just got me in the feels. Also gave some insight into why Dragana is the way she is which is always a bonus in RP’s; character development for the win! + I dunno if Bobby wrote this RP before or after his match with Doc, but if my senses are correct this was written after. And if that’s the case, this is a perfect example of how to explain a loss. Give your character an out, a frustration, a reason not to be 100% focused on the match, something like that. Great writing as always and also had that element of character development as well. This whole RIOT really has been great on that front to be honest. Go team. + Is this really the end of CQC? Seems like Quartz is fully done. What happens to TTT? SO MANY QUESTIONS! Both guys have the tools to go it alone but I must say I have thoroughly enjoyed their stint as a team. If it is over, let’s just hope there’s another team that can rise up and take on Inception. Golden Cobra perhaps? + I haven’t really gone on about the matches in this one because I thought I’d leave that for others but the ME was fire. I really enjoyed it and it came down to the wire. Elevated both the World and Pride titles IMO by having such a great, close match. Good lead up to PPV RIOT everyone. I am pumped as fuck for RtG to see what feuds are done and which have the potential to reach Lution.

Just some random thoughts in no particular order: - Was good to be approached by someone to RP after putting the feelers out. Thanks, Nick. Sometimes I think people are either scared to approach me or don't want to work with me. Maybe it's because I'm not cliq'd up with people in any circles, I dunno. Lone wolf baybay. But my door is always open for RP's, just DM me on Discord. - Good to see TY and Asher putting RP's up, even if they're still using that god awful "would" shit. I wanna see where this beatdown story ends up. - Was great to see a lot of tag team offense in the womens match and both teams seemed to gel really nicely in the ring. I still think Terra/Aerith deserved to win that one, but it certainly helps Empley's momentum going into RtG. - "Bray and Mark Reese was not the shit show I expected" - totally agree with this, I didn't see anything really that different to a usual match on Turmoil. I don't know enough about what happened afterwards but match-wise it seemed fine so *shrug*. - I wish Benji would RP more cos I find his Jamaican pimp gimmick entertaining and he's decent on the sticks as well; pity he got knocked out by TJ Stevens (who looked great btw, I like the CAW, Jaime). If he can bounce back and stay in that title picture that'd be great for him. Also, I agree with Jake - boo on the yellow payback, especially because your opponent isn't using any. - Who is this damn mystery person? I hope we find out on RtG. If we don't perhaps they're saving a reveal for Lution? - Shep promo was unexpected and gave major heel heat, holy shit! The pissing on the grave was just the nail in the coffin. Still bitter about Cort Marshall; will this eventually come to a head at Lution perhaps? Or will Shep just take his anger out on whoever is unlucky enough to step into the ring with him? - Can we change the rule to be 3 fins total rather than 3 consecutive? Cos honestly I feel this one could have been over a lot sooner. Like Jake I understand it was for a tournament but c'mon, you take 3 fins you stay down, at least that's how I think it should be. Grats to TLBS either way. - Who's challenging Mistico/Fury for those Tag Titles? Haven't seen anyone on the Turmoil mens roster recently banding together to try and take those straps away or build themselves up as a tag team. It'll be a dead division if no-one takes that leap. Plenty of opportunity to RP and get something going. - Liked the ME a lot, like Jake said, the pacing was great, the FPR was clean (even the crapple slap from Rust was nullified by him realising and letting Lee smack him up; honor), and the finisher kickouts made it a tight fight for the win. This was a great "no-thirst" ME - the flavor pins after the fin kickouts, no in-n-out spacing - forward movement all the way. Props to both guys, hell of an ME.

Hey man, might wanna re-read the handbook and look at the Morrison Method in terms of the formatting. It might also pay to look at a recent show and see how others format their RPs in terms of spacing and formatting as well. Maybe try Grammarly as well to help with sentence structure and tidying up the whole flow.

Damian finally coming out - brave move, well done. Big news on the International Title; pity I'm out of action, though I have unfinished business with Capo, and that trumps even fighting for OCW gold at this point. We have a hype show start vid! YYEAAAHHH! Will be interesting to see how Matthew May goes; good looking CAW and good promo. Asher vid with unknown DD masked atacker. I groined in pain due to no context. If you're doing joint angles for the love of all things holy communicate with each other so you know who's sending RPs in and when the deadline in. CQC split imminent? Caine had a bit more character coming through in the CAW this week. Only room to grow from here. Benji using yellow backpay when Quartz wasn't using them was a bit dishonourable; does he also wear no socks?! It may not be in the rules yet but c'mon man, it's an obvious sign of thirst. Hard fought win though, can't deny that. Was also weird having the ladies come out as the centre piece and Benji just chilling on the outside, kinda took away from the entrance. Should've cut to a Benji-centric entrance at the 'ring-in' portion and maybe had one of them as a manager so they (or at least one of them) appear behind him in the background and don't just disappear from the entrance altogether. Although it could have been a good feud angle I'm kinda glad OtaKru are still a tag team as Turmoil tag scene has gone to shit over the recent weeks. Rookies, find a tag partner and bring this division back to life. Ace beats Dragana! Wow, second time Bray has beaten Drago on the sticks against Dragana. It's a nice contrast though, and gives Dragana something to really fight for; redemption and re-gaining that "beast" status. Dug the double pony-tail look too, was cool to see a different attire.

You're telling me haha. Yea it sucks; basically sleeping on a mattress on the ground, only furniture is two side tables we bought over here. I have phone/laptop/a few books to keep me sane.

Good podcast, always enjoy the PPV breakdowns. As for my situation, just to clarify; I am from NZ, moved to Aussie for 5 1/2 years for money/opportunity/lifestyle until recently, the wife got a great job offer back in the motherland so we've moved back home to NZ. Our furniture, and all of our other stuff (including PS4 and TV's) are currently in a shipping container which isn't leaving the Australian docks until later this month to arrive into Auckland early May, thus just missing out on RtG timeline. So I basically can't do shit until it arrives, which is super annoying and I've missed a chunk of the season because of it, but that's life. It's been hard to stretch this story out over many more months than was originally anticipated and keep people engaged so I appreciate anyone who's still looking forward to the culmination of this story line at Lution.

This is just gonna be some scattered thoughts as I think of them cos I won't have time for a full review before RIOT's up. Was good to see the recent crop of rookies stepping up, and like others have said, they've been consistent in terms of putting in content. The FPR stuff will come in time, though I think it is possible the Caine win over Nic may have been a little tainted as there were multiple infractions that could have turned the match in his favour. Also, I agree with Valk in terms of the CAW being a little odd. Strange build + default face and standard hairstyle; I dunno it's a little bare/default looking to me. If you want any logos made up Solomon I can make you something for your trunks or whatever just to spice it up a bit. Also, a face texture would be a good idea, which I could also help with. Keep up the RP's. Bray and Nic getting that OtaKru heat out in the open was great to see and I'm glad both embraced the ending to last weeks Turmoil and ran with it. Good stuff and it gave Nic a bit more exposure and personality which he has been needing for a while. Good stuff. Main Event was fucking FIRE. Loved it, even though it was long it was never boring, always something going on. And a flaming table! The cut-scenes at the end were great too and it was just an awesome way to close the show. It's something this group of guys has done consistently well for so long in the ME scene on Turmoil and this was just another showcase of that. Great shit and I'm pumped for CG ME. Blaine coming out to fight Jackman was a surprise, in a good way, I popped a lil. Valk getting the group beat down, despite her HEELISH ways in some past TV tapings, gave her the Face treatment in a very strong way and brought the story full-circle back to Valk being the underdog that you want to root for against all odds. Hats off to you and your feud partners, Valk, you have been a joy to watch/read and continue to develop and evolve while maintaining that underdog sentiment. FloJo also had a great promo and it was good to see Gooch take the advice of the Discord and run with it. Like Jake said, great job on the Individuality thing and outlining FloJo's reasons and motivations for fighting. Step 1 complete. Keep it up man. Empress' entrance cracked me the FUCK UP. I was sitting on the hotel bed catching up on the show and didn't expect to see that hahaha. Great stuff advancing the feud with Belle. Mark Reese continues to impress and put up a hell of a fight with Bray. That's all I got for now but I agree with Jake in that this was one of the best Turmoil's of the season; I think the Turmoil roster has done a great job of building to this PPV so hopefully CG delivers.

RUDO’s TURMOIL POST-SHOW NOTES: + This little set-up RP from Trance made me feel like I was watching the opening scene of a movie. Great use of a short RP to create intrigue as to what is going to happen in that scum infested part of town. SHIT’S GONNA GO DOWN SON!! + I found it hard to figure out if Elliot and Evelyn think they are literal angel and demon or if they use those terms as metaphors, mainly cos I haven’t seen (or at least don’t remember) any set up RP’s to explain it. In any case, Valkyrie can only give solid advice and tell Evelyn (who?) to move on with her chin up. Hopefully there is some clarification at some point as to what’s going on with those two cos I was confused. + B-17/Code go wrestling feud 101 with a little tussle and a GM demanding they keep their hands off each other til the match, which I now assume will be for either CG or the SS. This has been building for a while since Code had his victory so will be interesting to see what happens when they collide again. MATCH: Soloman Caine vs. Loki Soloman’s look is ok but without having much insight into the gimmick it’s hard to tell if it suits him. His build is good for a technical striker which his move-set portrays him as. Went to the well a few times on same moves but also left some damage on the table (you can do three ground strikes, Soloman, before needing to pick up/bump). Also make sure to make use of the payback system. You’ll get there, FPR was good, just want to see more of your character in RP’s now. And Loki is wacky as always, that music/entrance always cracks me up. + Empress/Belle saga continues. Swerve from Empress with the coffee gesture. I SO SORRY!! Attire change on aisle 4! Fun little segment to keep this feud moving along. MATCH: Belle vs. Flojo Give me dancing Flojo back! :( Belle coming out dressed for a clean-up. And maybe she’ll clean Flojo up in this match, who knows?! LOL that moonsault botch. Decent action, bit of outside aerial stuff, but eventually Belle was able to put FloJo away and push her further down the women’s division rankings. + I hate guys like JBS; “if you don’t fight me, you’re a bitch!” then proceed to call them names until they give in and fight. Too much talking JBS, get in the ring with Tayy and see what happens to your Macho Man-lite ass. + Despite the circumstances surrounding the ME, Bray did a good job of explaining it in this RP and bringing his character to life again which was great to see. Also looking forward to seeing him take on Blacksmith who is a great competitor. MATCH: Mark Reese vs. Tayy Briezee I like Mark’s CAW and theme but there’s definitely room to grow in that sense and evolve which is exciting as he’s proven he can bring it in the ring. I felt like Tayy just couldn’t reverse anything in this one and it was weird cos Jake is a great player. I dunno if Mark threw him off with timing or what happened but it was strange to see him get so manhandled. In any case, Mark is a refreshing presence in the ring with his move-set and everything so I’m excited to see if he gets involved in a feud or something soon. + I mean, great to see you writing Asher, truly, but perhaps try using something like Grammarly or something just to spell check and make sure your sentences make sense as some parts are missing words, or the wrong words are used etc. Always proof read over the whole thing at least once before submitting. And the “would” shit grates my fucking eyes when I read it. I’m guessing either you got permission from Keith to use his character or he’s back/not flaked? Not sure which one. As for the meat and potatoes of the RP, Asher did not take advice from his stable-mates and foolishly wandered the OCW arena alone; it’s a zoo out here I don’t know what you were thinking man! So Asher is in a feud now I’m guessing? Let’s see how this plays out. MATCH: Empress vs. Ashley Moore I saw three minutes and went “DAMMNNNN someone got FUCKED UP” but then shortly realised it was cut short due to an alleged backstage attack on Moore. Great little video piece; I lol’d at the attire change when it said “ugly Valyrie” hahaha. Oh man. I like the multi-man feud element with both singles feuds kinda crossing over due to friendships and dark alliances. + And here we are; the dark alliance of Moore and Empress. A mutually beneficial arrangement between these two dastardly women to take out both Belle and Valk. The ‘glitter eating’ line got me hahaha. Also the misspoken English parts were hilarious too. Great work guys. + Johnny lays out the thoughts of the OCW universe in relation to Valkyrie’s recent actions but Little Bubba refuses to let others seeds of doubt get in her way and once again storms off alone and from what I can tell, feeling misjudged. MATCH: B-17 vs. TY Sparks This was an ass whooping that didn’t really feel like one, but TY just couldn’t get the upper hand at all during the match. Nothing to be ashamed of though as Adam is one of the best players on the sticks. Great finish, love the catch Bingo Punch; and it connected! B keeps his record intact and continues his climb towards the CCW title. + Valk and Belle about to have a convo with Clark until BAM! Blaine comes in and ruins the party. She’s not wrong in what she said, however; Belle did not earn it, what with Valkyrie interfering like a HEEL and giving Belle the dirty win. Blaine will be a true test for Belle when that ever comes about. + Ace is fucking disturbing. This segment showed a very vulnerable side of Dragana as well, letting her emotions show which rarely happens, well at least in the case of anger and rage. But even then she still couldn’t pull the trigger on the chair shot. Interdasting. I wonder what Ace knows...interdasting. + Zoe Cohle and Aisu reflect on her match/loss. Aisu get’s bigged-up by Zoe but Aisu shows he is humble and willing to wait for his chance to prove himself. + JT promo was weird but flavourful, in the sense that I didn’t understand what was going on in terms of the character but there was definitely charisma coming through. Maybe once I see the CAW it will all come together, but for now, keep it up man, keep writing. MATCH: Valk vs. Dragana Is it 2K’s lack of imagination/not giving a shit or is throwing your opponent into the cage wall the only grapple you can do on the outside of the ring in these matches? Cos if that’s the case that’s balls. Should be able to do normal moves too. Said in chat but the Sister Abigail was weird, with the kiss and everything, unless you were to spin it in the way of "it’s Valkyrie giving her opponent a kiss good night after reading a fairy-tale"? Otherwise; creepy Valk confirmed. Other than that it was a surprise to see Dragana fall but a testament to how much Valk has improved on the sticks over the last year and she is definitely up for a title shot in the near future I would say. It looks like it’s heading towards Valk/Blaine, which if that happens at Lution it will be a banger and I will have front row seats. + Nice face promo 101 from Mark Reese; big up the opponent and stay humble, throw in a catch phrase --- BOOM! I like this guy. + This segment was so good, I felt like I was watching a gang-lands movie. And great scene setting and dialogue aside, that stipulation puts a whole other level on top of this feud. We could potentially be seeing the last of Trance...forever. Damn son. + Valk and Dragana match fallout. The emotion from Johnny was great, pushing Valk away who you could tell was sincerely remorseful for putting Dragana through such pain, but knew she had to in order to stick it to Sensation. But she made her choice. What a predicament. Had me feeling some type of way; great stuff. MATCH: OtaKru vs. Scumciety The fact Bray wasn’t in this match didn’t really make too much difference although it was basically Nic Betamax vs. Jay Fury in the ME of Turmoil which was kinda weird but it is what it is (commentary had been done, etc) but it was fine. I thought that it told a decent story with Mistiscum staying on the outside for the most part, letting Jay have a go at tearing apart Nic. But of course the heels needed to gang up on Betamax at some point, and eventually took him out for the 1-2-3. I appreciated the video content at the end with Bray/Blacksmith but I felt it made the ME seem insignificant to an extent as it didn’t relate to any of the guys in it at all. This gives Betamax a chance to do some RPing; your boy let you get whipped by Scumciety and was at the arena the whole time (or at least, when he got there he didn’t help you). Don’t squander that story hook, it’s a given, even if you guys don’t break up because of it, use it to grow his character and create a little friction between them. Decent show overall, some weird moments but also some great stuff coming out on the road to Lution and I can already start to see seeds being planted for it which is exciting. MOTN: this would have to go to...hmmm...probably Belle/Flojo; I liked the flow of it, and it had some cool spots here and there. RPOTN: Scum/Trance bar/clubhouse scene. Like I said, straight out of a movie, loved the description, took me right into the scene.

Nothing against you H2O, but in a pro wrestling sense, I wholeheartedly agree with this statement.

RUDO’s RIOT POST-SHOW NOTES: + Valkyrie/Moore/H2O segment was great, I loved the effort with the video package at the start; smart use of using what the game gives us to make something of those cut-scenes. And then the split from Inception...damn, some heavy fifi’s going on. I’m pumped already for Valk vs. Moore, but I fear the direction Valk’s taking. + Uncrowned getting shafted again. FIGHT THE POWER BOYS! Those security guards are dicks; reminds me of bouncers at night clubs who won’t let people in cos they “don’t have the right shoes”. I HATE EM. MATCH: Alyssa Winters vs. Zoe Cohle Zoe just couldn’t ever get the upper hand on Alyssa in this one. Saw the ‘Valk special’ go down after that major rev. I think Alyssa could have more attire dedicated to video gaming or streaming logos, she just doesn’t come across as a streamer visually if that makes sense? The kick pads are nice though and look good after that roll through the ropes during the entrance as they’re in full view. Good win for Alyssa regardless and a rough start for Zoe. + LOL, Ashley acting all scared on Insta then shills her merch at the end hahaha. + Cowboy Quartz / Cyborg segment did its job both in hyping their match on the card but also teasing a RIOT Tag Team Title match at CG. Will be another great challenge for CQC to overcome. + Dupree’s RP was so good. Great descriptions of the scene and the OCW staffers alongside his hilarious dialogue (“moose scat” lol). Sets a plan in motion to stop Bobby from doing what Bobby does best; how much more of a villain can you be in this situation? *thumbs up emoji* MATCH: AC Cobretti vs. Kalix Eastbrook BLOCKED BAYBAY + Alyssa getting sick of the Valkyrie hype too? Nice an short RP just showing that she’s here to stay and make sure everyone knows it. + Bobby Minio gets silenced... BOOOOOOOO!!! BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! BOOOOOOO!!! Get FAME outta the control room! BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! + That’s my ‘ish, that’s my ish. MATCH: Tyson Wagner vs. Quartz Winced when Quartz hit that spinebuster on the outside hitting Wagner’s head into the concrete. Lol’d when both guys just start smacking Ted upside the head with strike combo’s hahaha. I enjoyed this one; not too long, and had a few cool little sequences like Quartz rolling out of the ring, Cyborg follows, Quartz back in, tries to run for a rebound attack but gets flattened by Wagner. That finish was slick too; major the move then hit the BLACK PHOENIX BAYBAY! Keeps CQC looking strong going into CG. + Billy Saturn promo was almost generic heel intro promo talking about being the ‘one to cleanse the locker room’ but he spiced it up with a little ‘beauty shit talking’ charisma here and there. Better than a lot of usual rookie openers that’s for sure. Looking forward to seeing the CAW in action and if he can back up his words. + H2O gives Scaggs some insight into his rivalry with Kass. So will it be another triple threat or is Kass fighting H2O at CG? Seems to be a lot of talk about CG matches without a card being announced yet which is confusing me a little. Good promo regardless, character progression and building the story behind the match. + OOOOHHHHHH Secret Wars = FAME vs. UC – nice. Great promo from all four involved, you could feel the heat between both teams, and this pumped me up for the ME. A match between veterans and an up and coming rookie team? Yes please. MATCH: Telos vs. Cort Marshall This was actually really fun to watch as Cort was coming off a great showing against Kass and Telos was vying for his shot at the Pride Title. The finish was great and I marked out for the EndGame cos it’s such a brutal move. So this now puts Telos in the title picture I think, beating the former champ. Pride division is looking good. + Bobby Minio pipe-bomb!!! YOU CAN’T STOP THIS MAN!!! Great promo – giving a little flame to FAME on the mic while still getting stopped by them before he could finish his thoughts. Great heat building segment. + This is an example of how to sway a loss into an RP. Nice short promo from Tyson to show off his PTSD personality and predator gimmick. MATCH: Tre Golden vs. Kass Decent match. I got legit annoyed at Kass for rolling out and staying on the outside of the ring for so long at times lol, heel heat. Those majors really messed Tre up but he held his own against the former champion. How did the ref not see that low blow? H2O interferes due to nut shot or just cos he hates Kass? Either way this further builds from earlier in the night. + P3 bring more insanity. Good start by Drago bringing in the serious tones of consequence for Dragana and then Mugen quickly turns all of that around in an instant with hilarious wackiness. Best moment was Mugen trying to get Drago out then Mugen ends up in the cell hahaha. I just imagined one of those 80’s spin circle screen wipe transitions and Mugen is sitting next to Drago on his cell bed hahaha. + Looks like no-one in the RIOT locker room is safe from FAME’s ego. This stand-off was great though, I loved Cort’s response to Pugh and the fact he didn’t give in to his demands. We’ll see where this goes in terms of Pughs “promise”. + Uncrowned pump themselves up for their match and try to inspire their fellow rookies. Whether they’re pumped or not it doesn’t matter, as long as Uncrowned bring it in their match against FAME. + Mugen...I mean, Empress shoots hard on FloJo and OtaKru. Pretty funny stuff from Empress – good bants/burns. Hopefully we see a triple threat with Empress/FloJo/Ace in the future> MATCH: FAME vs. Uncrowned Awesome match and great commentary from Angus. This right here proves why Uncrowned deserve all the praise they are getting at the moment, beating two legends in a well worked ME. Give these men their title shot! Would be awesome if they got one at Lution if not at RtG. Anyways, congrats guys on the win, and I’m sure you won’t squander the opportunity to use this win in future RP’s. Overall great show, lots going on, fun matches with consequences or building towards an angle, and RP’s getting to the point and not waffling too much. Really enjoyed this episode I have to say. MOTN: ME for sure. The match itself was good but the rookies getting the win over the legends was just a great moment. RPoTN: This show had so many good one’s but I think it’s between Bobby’s pipebomb and Dupree’s OCW Staffer Drill Sarge bit.

Good to see some previously absent, and brand new, rookies getting involved in RP's. Hopefully I'll get time to put together a proper review for page 2 for this shoe.

RUDO’s SCATTERED RIOT THOUGHTS: Benji vs. Thrace – I’m guessing Thrace recorded etc on this one as Benji had the WWE logo in his entrance. I think this has been brought up before; if you’re recording someone’s entrance and they have a custom tron, assign them one that suits from the game or make a real quick Create-A-Vid with their name in text with a background that works. Literally takes 10mins tops and looks a lot better. The arena didn’t have any logos either; need to go in and set those up so the ring looks normal instead of plain black around the outside. Also, gotta cut before the match rating screen appears and fade it to black or something if you can just so it takes the ‘video-gamey’ vibe away from the match as much as possible. Not a bad match in-ring, and was good to finally see Thrace in a RIOT ring. I like the CAW too. Ryu and Quartz match attires were hilarious. Great job in terms of taking the piss out of the fact they’re in a dark match and also feuding with FAME. Minio’s belt signing antics. Made you feel pride in him for smashing out signature after signature for the better part of the show, just getting on with the responsibility of being a champion, and then a wave of sympathy as you realise FAME are just working him to the bone. Great stuff and build for a future match with any one of the members of FAME. I really dig the character progression of the Austin Lee character over the past while with the influence of Terra slowly changing him. It’s great for his longevity and gives him options in terms of gimmick and attire and everything in between in regards to anything hipster/vegan/healthy lifestyle related which could be hilarious and great to watch unfold. I dunno if that’s the long term intention but either way it’s keeping me entertained. AC/Golden segment is funny as fuck. I’m liking the dynamic of this team and AC always brings the lolz. Will be interesting to see how they fare as a team if they’re booked against an established duo on RIOT. Is Acera Ala a rookie or an Alt? No idea whose gamer tag it was, didn’t recognise it. Either way, interdasting CAW. THE UNCROWNED THEME IS BACK AND NOT BLOCKED!!! The addition of the CQC stuff on commentary etc during the match was a nice touch and added to the match greatly I felt, like it wasn’t just another match, there was something else going on. Lots of high flying cruiserweight action in this one but Doc Green’s JJE was just too much boot for the luchadore to handle. A little throwback H2O to the days of his constant introspection. Was an interesting RP from the angle that we haven’t seen the ‘evil’ H2O show up since the tail end of last season I believe? Will he be a constant in the chase to regain his World Heavyweight championship? Who knows? Maybe he fill cause Inception to crumble from the top down. Cort/Maxwale feud? I’d be down. Two great writers and two guys who I feel would be pretty competitive on the sticks against each other. Pure Technician vs. Technical Brawler is always an intriguing match-up and their personalities clashing would only make for entertaining television. Plus we never got to see who would win (though Cort was on the way). Great little ending to that one too with Shep and Bobby coming to add some flavour to the mix. Perhaps it will be these 4 men in a match for the Pride Championship at CG? FloJo comes back with some revenge on the Clark Effect; good shit. I’m looking forward to seeing these two fight it out, possibly at CG? If not, and it goes on for another month I won’t complain, it’s been entertaining so far and stylistically it will be a fun match to watch. Valk/Moore shenanigans continue. I have a feeling their match at The Clash was not their final showdown; surely not. And the handicap was not as one-sided as I thought it may be; Valk hung on for a good while before finally succumbing to Ashley’s DDT. Dug Blaine’s new get up and entrance too. Ashley getting the pin in this one was great as it pushes that feud; would have been less impactful had Blaine done the honours. Telos is back on his own now and this was a great RP from the guy. He in all honesty didn’t really need Dillinger to get him over I think, his writing is great and this RP really showed a more complex character in terms of alignment. He was kinda bagging on Dillinger AND the Faces of OCW at the same time. Let’s see what happens in regards to the Pride sitch though. Kass still keeping himself relevant with an RP deflecting the blame of his loss at DN and also sprinkling in a little bit of Kasstianity into the mix with the throne and sermon imagery etc. We’ll see what happens in terms of CG card but I would not be mad at another Triple Threat for the belt haha. The H2O / Valk encounter was strangely emotional, in a good way. I could feel Valk’s heart break when Harvey mentioned Kasstianity; it was like two lovers having a really tense and full on argument where they say things they’re gonna regret . Whew...gonna be interesting to see the aftermath of this for sure. Will Valk leave Inception? CRUMBLING FROM THE INSIDE! P3 segment was fucking hilarious, if only for the German accents. And Fred Durst getting annoyed hahahaha. Fucking bizarre as always but fun as fuck to read through the chaos these two bring to the show. People talking trash about Pugh changing up the title but I think it fits that narcissistic element of his character (creating a new belt for his run), while at the same time treads the line of being sentimental towards the history of OCW in an endearing kind of way. Oh how long I have waited to see Tibby’s entrance again. H2O coming out with KD as a unit was a strong choice to show solidarity for Inception. Decent match that went all over the ring and outside the ring as well. Was hoping to see a victor out of this match but hopefully the ending to the contest will be explained on RIOT this week.
