The OCW World Champion Trevor McManus has issued a statement declaring that due to an incident this past week on RIOT he will not be attending this week in protest. We are not aware the exact reason for his protest, the initial instinct was to assume something surrounding Mr Sensation retaining custody of the OCW World Title but he has assured us this is not the case.

Maybe Sensation doesn't want to see the only man he has NO common ground with as the champion of his company.

Some good RP work this week. Lots of different RPs linked with each other and everyone seems to have at least touched on the OCW Title, we've got to be doing something right if everyone is RPing about it right?

Just going to touch on the first match first then move on. The match was absolutely horrid. Aries was told to PM it to Jay and he told me that he PMed it to both the Bloom and Sensation accounts. As far as I'm concerned the proper channels were used and the match was submitted.

You can block a running move. Surely it's your fault if you fail to counter it?

I Would think so. If we're going down this route I want my tech perk back. Also. Guy has a finisher and you try to whip him. He blocks and does the pull back then ground finishers you. I would be SERIOUSLY pissed if this happened.

Now we're fucked though. I shouldn't have made it common knowledge that it can't be blocked, now every fucker is going to do it. *Trevor McManus will NEVER use the irish whip again.*

After you reverse a whip you have the opportunity of letting your opponent fall into a situation (bounce of the ropes or in the corner or on the ring apron) where he can then reverse the move. Or, you could do a pull back attack that he cannot block. So you get a choice between a move he can block and a move he can't block. Also. His punishment for being reversed if that he fails to hit you.

From that point of view it would be fine. But if you reverse a whip then do the pull back you're getting a free move just for reversing which is completely against the notion that everything should be reversable.

99.9999999999999999% sure you're incorrect here. We can try it out though and see if you can block it. Yes we can try it, but i am correct, you will even see it in some of our old riot matches, but that will take more time goingback through them. Me and smythe used to do it all the time in dm's and had a blast taking the piss out of each other when one of us reversed it. The reverse animation [if I remember correctly] is a toe kick to the arm/hand that's pulling you back.

Where are we standing on the running irish whip/irish whip reversal in to a move? You you try to whip me and I block, you can't then counter my irish whip pull back move. It's the same if I run at you and hit B to whip you, you then can't counter my pull back move.

It's a respect thing. Just because you can doesn't mean you should. This is the sort of thing I talk about when I say we can't relax rules, people get the idea of "I CAN do it so I SHOULD do it."
