Nathan Gaines

Thought Turmoil was real good this week. It had more of a big time feel instead of the "b" show stigma. Trips vs. Vindicator was a bit of a blow out, but that's cause Trips is a hell of a wrestler and Vindi while not necessarily a rookie is still a bit green. Hell of a entrance for Vindicator though. He's got a markable character - KD's RP was a bit odd. While it's awesome to see that at least he's putting something fowards, its more or less rasing your hand in class even though you don't know the answer. As Nate said I think there was a post in the locker room a way back talking about writing an RP. It'd be real helpful for you to take a peak at KD because we've seen that you can be a decent talent. We just need to get that RP part up -Next RP we have Regan and MMM. As normal some great lines from MMM Valmont vs Kang- This match while good was sort of dumb from a storyline standpoint. Why two members from I-Gen would wrestle despite the trickery from MMM still doesn't make sense. Also the attack at the end was good, but as stated it sucks that there are fueds overlapping more later

As Gaines is in the trainer's room after the match, the doctor is attending to his back after the rough match with Nate Ortiz. Gaines grimaces in pain as the doctor pushes down around Nathan's spine. All of a sudden Deano walks into the room to check on Gaines Deano: How's the old man doin? Doctor: Well he's definitely showing his age Gaines: First off I think he was talkin to me doc, and secondly I'm not old. Deano: Hey I'm off to the showers, but I wanted to thank ya for stepping up there. Gaines: Deano you just got out of the shower. Deano: Never said I was going back in to clean off Gaines: I'll see ya back at the hotel Deano: Take care of him doc Deano takes off towards the door as the doctor continues treatment on Gaines' back Doctor: Alright Nathan, stay here I'm going to get the ultrasound to try and ease the tension around the spine. As the doctor leaves the room Nathan spins around, and sits up on the table. He looks out towards the door and then stands up from the table and heads over to the medicine cabinet. Nathan begins to search for pain killers as the lights begin to flicker. Nathan comes to a dead stop and looks up with a concerned amazed look on his face. All of a sudden the light above the medicine cabinet goes on as the darkness in the room is illuminated in front of the cabinet showing Nathan Gaines ???: Now this is a picture to keep in memory, the great Nathaniel Gaines standing here stealing pain killers to prolong his career. You’re only a replica of what you once were. Gaines: Who's there ???: Nathaniel you know who I am. I'm that voice inside your head, the darkness that you constantly try to suppress. The world you base yourself around, is all a lie. I'm here to show you… Gaines: Show me? Show me what! ????: Show you that you're just like me. It might not be there on the outside because of the illusion you create to hide your demons from your family, friends and the circle that follows you, but it is there deep inside your soul. You are what I spurn of the most. Gaines has a look of confusion on his face as the person continues to speak ????: The verity is in front of you but you have yet to embrace it. You are afraid that in doing so the people around you will see who you really are. I will bring to fruition that reality and force you to embrace it. I will exonerate you. “And you will know the truth, and the truth will make you free. [John 8:32]” Just then the lights flicker again and go back on. Nathan who is still confused, is still standing in front of the cabinet with the pain killers in his hand as the doctor walks in. The doctor stares down at Gaines who looks at the pain killers in his hand and just shakes his head, as the scene fades out

**The Scene opens up in the I-Gen locker room with a shot of Carlos Cruz. Cruz is seen in a maid's outfit dusting the various furniture that's located in the room and is humming a long as he works. In the background is Gaines who is seated at the bar watching the Lakers-Celtics game. Off to the side of Gaines is Valmont, who is sitting at the edge of the bar looking at his hardcore title and muttering incoherently as he clinches his fist. As Gaines and Valmont watch the game they see the Kobe hit a shot and both yell out explicitives. Just as they do King James walks into the locker room** King: Why in the world of small fingered bitches are you dressed up as Sveltlana cleaning our shit? Cruz: Aye papi you scared me there. Well since I haven't gotten my official visa my contract bonuses haven't kicked in, and since you guys pay for my plane tickets and hotel accomedations, Gaines said I should pull my weight. I thought I'd clean. King: And the outfit? Cruz: Deano's idea but I have to say the breeze is remarkable Gaines: Cruzy who's there? Kang: It's the leader of the Innovation of the Got Damn Nation. Gaines grumbles as he sips his whisky sour Valmont: I swear when those painted little clowns decide to get into the ring with me, it's all over. King: Valmont you talkin to yourself again? Valmont: Kang you know how bad I want those guys. I just can't wait around for the fight to be brought to me, that ain't my style **Just then Deano walks in, after being at the trainer getting the post match examination** Deano: Ahh well look who it is. You gotta get here earlier man. The shows just ending King: I had to take care of some stuff, but you're right everytime I show up late your ass losses Deano: Jackass King: Good to see you too. Deano: Hey Gainesy pop me open a brew, and get one for King. Gaines: James can get his own damn beer Deano: Seriously you're still pullin' that crap? King: Let it slide Deano Deano: Hell no. You're better than that Gaines. This ain't you at all. Hell how bout when you left me high and dry in June before the S.E.X match. I went out there on my own. I was pissed, but I forgave you. Gaines: Yeah but I never forgot who I was King: What the hell are you talkin about Midget Mack? **Gaines slides up out of his bar chair and walks over to King. Deano looks at the two and walks over to Valmont who is now looking directly at the two of the stronger personalities of I-Gen** Gaines: What am I talking about? You're the leader of I-Gen right? King: Got damn right Gaines: You're the leader of those people out there right? King: Hell yeah! Gaines: You're the man who took on legends Majin and Kage without even thinkin twice right? King: You better believe it Gaines: You're a 2x International Champion and 1x Hardcore champion right? King: A king must have gold Gaines: Well then how come you forgot all of that three months ago when you tucked your tail between your legs and showed how big of a bitch you really are? You want to pretend that nothing happened? You wanna re-establish your leadership as the captain of the best god damn faction this company has ever seen? You want me to respect you again? Why don't you drop the silence, stop walkin' on egg shells and start being the loud mouth punk you used to be. Why don't you start whoopin some Molly ass and take back the leadership of those people out there. Tonight Nate Ortiz was right, there are no more heroes, no more white knights riding in on horses to save OCW. There is no leader, and in the absence of leadership people will listen to anyone. The masses don't drink the sand because they're thirsty Kang, they drink it because they don't know the difference. Each week these people see Smythe DaWonder, and Leonheart and everyone else who strolls down that rampway with a microphone in their hand, and an ego the size of a planet, proclaim the way things should be. These people yearn for someone with heart, someone with passion, someone who's not gonna get beat down and walk away. These people need a leader. You wanna make things right between us? You walk out there on Turmoil and show me who you really are. **With that Gaines blows past Kang and slams the locker room door, as Kang slowly nods. Deano and Valmont who have been captivated by Kang and Gaines, just look down, and Cruz, who is still standing in his french maid outfit, looks wide eyed, amazed at what has just happened**

I think VV's look is too Batista. Also his waist didn't look proportional to his upperbody in his entrance. And in accordance with Deano, I kinda wanted to see Madmen kick VV's ass as well. I was hoping for the beat down. I think it might be me but for some reason I think of Sting when I see MMM's hair and paint

Don't worry when VV when I use to come out people thought Nate was making an apperance....It was a huge Let down. Hell in carried into real life too. Slut: Oh my god it's Nate Ortiz!!! This is a dream come true Gaines: Nope just me Nathan Gaines Slut: See ya!!

Some unbelievable RPs here.... Liked the Seth Mayhem thing thought that was unique Vindicator and Smith had a meh ending but reading what they wrote I'm sure the ending in the original was sick. The match itself was great, and Frank and Vindicator are two great rookies even though they're not "true" rookies. Thought the Deano Nate match was outstanding. Really liked the ending. The whole Smythe Nate thing reminds me slightly of JBL Michaels except Smythe likes f-ing people over. Tag match was tough on Cruz and Kang but it was nice to see Blade come out on top. I feel like people often over look the Blade Versus fued cause Blade's come out on the end of matches losing. The kid missed a full year of not playing, and don't under estimate when they step in the ring, Blade knows how Versus plays, which is gonna play into his hand very nicely. The RP Versus had was kick ass. On another note, I really love the whole Dexter D thing, but I feel like people are hesitating on writing their own opinions down cause they're waiting to cream themselves when they get their name mentioned by Dexter D. That's like the Madness Report. It's flashy in-depth, and whoever is behind it deserves props. However small insight is appriciated as well

Easy there buddy if you look at it Majin wrote in color indicating thathe was in character while razing Ryder. Majin is the last guy who would take a shot at someone putting work in. So don't be calling out Majin.

**Immediately following the shot of the announce crew, the scene returns to the back in the medical room, where Nathan Gaines is being examined by an OCW Medical Staff Crew. Gaines is laying down in the prone position. The Doctor is running his fingers along Gaines' spine. In addition to checking to see if there is any tenderness, the doctor is checking for any buldging discs.** Doctor: Do you feel any pain when I push here Gaines: GOT DAMNIT!! Doctor: I'll take that as a yes. Gaines: Can't you just reallign me and call it a night. Doctor: Nathan you know we've talked to you before about this. When you retired last year, it was because of the beating your back has taken. The only way to avoid the pain, is to avoid wrestling. Gaines: I know, but sometimes you can't back away from a fight Doctor: Look I'll prescribe you some pain medication, but when you get to town for Turmoil contact a local chiropractor. It looks like you're gonna need more surgery. **The Doctor goes to the medicine cabinet on the side next to the examination table. As Nathan sits up he grabs the medicine vile. As the doctor exits the room, Nathan pops the bottle open and takes two pills. He grimmices as he gets off the table and heads off back to the I-Gen locker room**

I really enjoyed Riot...I feel that it really is our flagship show as I feel the RPs always seem to be better. Matches themselves were good as well. I'm not going to divulge into a break down of all the matches, but I really enjoyed the Leon-Deano match. I'm also glad that Cruz is back. He's a great guy and having him Deano, Valmont, and Kang(if he's not dead) all working together on RPs, I feel that we have one of the best collections of RPers in the game. Just wanted to comment on Bloodline. They've gone through a lot of change with members leaving and I think it should be noted that Smythe has done a very nice job of continuing to keep the faction together and functioning. I, more than anyone else, know the challenges that having a faction where at times the members are in and out and not really RPing. Having Smythe keep it together and organize things with Nate is great. As I said earlier this could be the fued of the year because it's definitely got the "it" factor to it.

I love when pop culture is thrown into an RP. Extremely well written. I really like the whole gimmick Kip. I know you had the Hollywood type thing going early on but this upped it a level. Great work

"I swear Gaines is The Love child of Don Johnson and some mulatto woman who was an extra on Silk Stalkings or something. Kanye West Meets Grover!." This line still has me laughing. It has made my night.

Exactly I was never trying to say Trips is this and that and all that bullshit....I just felt it wasn't a great RP, but I still don't think it's a reflection poorly on Trips. I've told Trips before as well as others, I really do like his character especially when he's at his heelish best, and that still stands, I just felt this wasn't his best work. Trips please don't feel that I was attacking you, as that was not my intension at all

Mentions it 3x in the RP(which would be the first one) and not at all Steve...Just because people comment doesn't mean there are other motives involved. What was the main gripe coming out of last year? That the community doesn't comment anymore. I chose to voice things that I saw and felt and got the feel for. I know you're not a big commentor, but just because I saw some stuff and it wasn't all positive, doesn't mean I'm trying to attack someone

Really didn't enjoy Turmoil this week...I thought for the most part the matches were lackluster, and only a few decent RPs. I feel this show fell a bit short in comparison to Riot. 1.) Trips...you rambled on about the Television Title and towards the end the RP I was praying you wouldn't talk about it at all anymore. That title is dead and gone. It's not coming back. I felt you dropped the ball a bit in this RP as I felt after a strong showing against Leon this could have been a great home run opportunity to explain things. Still glad to see you're back but I feel this RP lacked a bit 2.) I was suprised by Justin Rox...good for you. I wish you'd go over the top with your rockstar personna. Think Russell Brand in terms of that whole larger than life type gimmick. 3.) As annoying and strange as he is, there is something slightly markable about Kavito. I like the entrance theme, however the in ring style just didn't seem great. I'm not saying any ethics or FPR were broken but the flow of the match just didn't seem great 4.) Bloodline RP...Very entertaining. Mikey adds something great to this group, and I'm glad he's been back for a while now. In addition I think it's interesting the dynamic between Smythe and Nate. 5.) I-Gen RP...very well written by Deano. I also thought it was nice that the Kang situation was finally addressed. Hopefully Deano's give-a-way girl will be a good one and not a one with a suprise. 6.) The Main Event---Where to begin. It was a pretty good match, and it was nice to see the Future back but it seemed cluttered and it hurt the progression of two angles since they were both thrown together. Seeing Mayhem come back was pretty cool. Look Mayhem and I have not always seen eye to eye, but when done right he's got an unbelievable character, and I think a major fued with Seth will be awesome. The attack between Frank and Trips didn't really make sense to me, as there was no build up or explination as to why Frank was back and why he'd be going after Trips. Hopefully that gets explained later on. Overall not the greatest Turmoil, but I have a feeling it will be the lowest "rated" one of the year.

Throughly enjoyed Riot...Just some things off the top of my head that I really enjoyed.... 1.) Bloodline RP...Great lines and great to see them interacting and showing some stuff. 2.) ____'s new attitude. The Dark Knight quote fit perfect and it gave me a small chill. I think this could be an early favorite for storyline of the year if it plays out right 3.) WAP's RP. A little to heavy on the Nate Ortiz reference but still unbelievably well written. I like the whole joker type thing. 4.) Rachel's apperance. She stands for everything that is wrong with how you use to try to build a character Leon. Please never use her again. Nice new look though 5.) Seth's RP- I like it as it was different and is a cool angle. It plays off well for who Seth is. Like I've said before I think Seth can be a top tweener heel.

I like this RP alot...You two both have done a good job of making a hateable heel. I think the alliance between you two is a good one and can be very interesting. Kip don't let that go to your head ;)
