  1. Anyone else hoping we get Dark Red and Dark Blue :p
  2. Jay WWE beat you to the punch Jeff Hardy vs the Miz was surely booked at one point or another ;)
  3. Smythe honestly? You call yourself a key member to the community and consider yourself a big shot, but you throw in small barbs like this. Not necessary at all you made your opinion known on how you feel about Ryder winning, and I feel the same way but for you to constantly carry on with this is ridiculous. There's nothing wrong with criticizing content on the show that's part of having an active commnunity but to constantly bitch about it defeats your purpose and makes your argument weaker. Please be above all of that Smythe cause I like to think that despite the fact that you love to blow yourself you're a good member of the society, Start acting like one
  4. Agreed we've had the gt before
  5. That's who it was that got run over I'm so confused with trying to remember who looks like what I thought it was Valmont who got run over for a short time and I couldn't understand why Leon was concerned about him
  6. or just pick a really girly one like the Chick Kick and no one goes near it
  7. Suprisingly I actually like this RP however one problem that I am seeing is that everyone seems to be shooting from community OOC stuff and bringing it into the role playing side. I always thought this was fround upon, but aside from that taking this for what it is and looking at it it makes things very interesting and I like it. Good work Trips
  8. First things first I found the Ryder's RP to not be what I was hoping or expecting. It had the feeling of a suprise champion coming out and I was gearing up to hear about how this was the start of a new era a leader for the new age of limitless levels, but instead we got a shoot on what happened with the community feel of the title. I was always "brought" up on the lesson that shoot Rps are weak. I thought more could have been done with that RP and if you're trying to get over as a face champion I don't feel that was accomplished in the slightest. Watched the Smythe vs. Hostile match and it was more competitive than I thought it would be. Smythe has a distinct style but if you claim to be a face you don't seem to wrestle as such, but I guess that fits your character. However, with everything being said the Smythe Hostile match was pretty good to watch
  9. **The Scene opens to the sight of a large Naval Vessel. The large ship is ported and men can be seen loading the contents of the ship up the ramp way and on to the top of the ship itself. Weaving between the large crates and the Airport style hangers the camera comes to the sight of OCW veteran Recon standing at the base of the Naval Carrier. Dressed in full Naval garb, decorated with various past war medals, Recon stands admiring the enormity of the ship itself. Next to him is a roller luggage, and in his hand is a duffle bag that is most certainly packed full. As the camera comes from behind Recon and captures a view from the front, we see the reflection of the ship in Recon's aviatar sunglasses, however, we also see the reflection of another individual coming into view. Recon takes off his sunglasses, puts down his duffle bag and stares at the individual in front of him.** Recon: Came to say goodbye? **The camera pans to around to get a side shot of Recon staring at the person who he is engaging in the conversation with. As the shot gets wider we see Nathan Gaines standing before Recon. Gaines is dressed in casual wear; Darkened denim jeans, a white form fitting t-shirt, with a black sports coat over the top. His hair is pulled back into a pony tail, and he is sporting similar sunglasses to that of Recon's** Gaines: Not exactly Recon: Well than I'm not sure I really wanna hear what this is all about *chuckling* Gaines: You remember when had the Christmas party a few weeks back. We had the whole Militia seated around and it was just like the old times. Recon: One thing I've learned from being in this business so long Nathan is that the most rewarding experience of it all is being able to call people family. Gaines: Exactly, but you know how Jeni asked if we ever thought about getting back in the ring. Just one more time to feel the electricity of it all to experience everything. Recon: Yes....... Gaines: It got me thinking, and as I was driving over here, the whole way I kept thinking why not. Why can't we give it one more run. This time it's not about having anything to prove, because face it you've done it all, and as for me I've accomplished everything I was capable of, but this time why not do things are way. Recon: I haven't stepped inside of a ring since the last time you and I tore each other's heads off Gaines: See that's what I'm talking about, we've forged friendship through leaderships, and bonds through battles, why not go back and do things together. Why not wrestle with each other instead of against each other. I'm not talking about bringing back the Militia because that will never happen without Samuel and Matty, but I'm talking about watchin each other's backs, why not bring back a little history to the company we love, the company you helped establish. Recon: Nathan, as hard as we all try to fight it you can never bring back the past. Gaines: See that's the last thing I'm trying to do Boss. I'm talking about living in the future. Why can't we sit around telling stories of what we're doing instead of what we did. I'm not trying to proclaim that our return is going to save a company, but with the chaos and confusion that Alex Robinson and Leonheart have created, why not help show the fans that there still are "good guys" left. We've been away for so long, we didn't even show up to honor the man who gave us a start, a man who you were from the beginning Recon: I have a mission that I promised would get done. Gaines: The question is Recon what mission is that you really want to accomplish? Something that pulls you away from your friends and family, or something that brings you home. Its your call **Gaines hugs Recon and wishes him well as the camera shoots Gaines walking away. Just then the camera turns around again to see Recon gone and the ramp of the ship being pulled away as the vessel begins to head out to see**
  10. Enjoy this moment Ryder cause it's the only time something that anyone is doing overshadows the sighting of an OCW Legend :)
  11. I hope so but as you can see you're stuff better be better than good because of the way you ended up with the title without a lack of a storyline. That's the difficult part
  12. Here's my take. Ryder coming out and challenging Leon as a face was one of those moments were you got the feel that a little guy was gonna give Leon a fight and then get beaten just at the end. Was the match good? Yeah it was an entertaining match to watch, but when you won it just left a WTF taste in my mouth. It doesn't have anything to do with you as a person, but honestly I don't really feel that it was justified. You don't really RP, your fued with Poe failed miserably(and I know that wasn't your fault at all) You just turned face and to be honest you haven't really done much in my opinion to get over enough as a face. In general I feel like if Leon was looking for someone more worthy of a out of the blue title shot he should have gone with someone who has been here and active. I know he couldn't have gone with someone like Smythe or Valmont since they wrestled, but they're in the Main Event level more so than Ryder. Ryder deserving the title because he wrestled a great match with Leon doesn't really justify you being champion. Yes you won so you earned the belt but in my opinion you still didn't deserve it. Hopefully you can hold it for a while and restore prestige to it, but who knows. As others have said it's a sad day because in my view the title really has fallen. We used to have great fueds with Nate and Majin and Kage and Guy and Versus where the title was seen as a prize gem. You had guys doing perfect circles and kept the title over months and made it seem like you had to work. As the storylines in general had a captivating appeal to them to the point where you were pulling one way or another for a guy cause they told a great story. I'm not going to judge your title reign based on how you won it, but I sure hope you have something great instore, and it has nothing to do with proving people wrong, it has everything to do with restoring a belt prestige that I once looked at as the greatest title in wrestling inside and outside of E-Fedding
  13. Lies I think it's a criptic message. Dr. Death was the one who killed Jaysin Sensation
  14. No one else finds it odd that a tribute show to Jaysin Sensation is instead dedicated in tribute to someone else?
  15. Happy Holidays everyone even if you're not a big religious person try to embody the kindness and compassion that Christmas is suppose to stand for...and enjoy the company of those you keep the holiday with because it's times like these that remind everyone how valuable having good friends and family really are. God bless you all and Merry Christmas
  16. Thus the cycle of Hazard not getting it continues...why did we let him back in again?
  17. Great freakin card
  18. **The scene opens up with a shot of a nice suburban downtown with local shops lining the "main" street of the town. The store fronts have clearly been restored and the street itself has most certainly seen the ups and down that the years have presented. As the camera slowly pans these store fronts there is a light snow falling. The ground has been covered, and the sense that winter has most certainly arrived is felt by the viewer. The scene fades out and then centers on a fairly nice colonial looking home that is set on a hill. In the darkness of the night the house is illuminated by lights and activity of a family engaging in laughter. The lights of the house reflect off of the large frozen pond in front of the house and with the reflected light the steam from the large brick chimney that is set to the left of the roof of the house when looking straight at the house. As the camera leads in through the double victorian doors and swings to the left past the double marble staircase in the main room of the house we are settled in a room that is marked by a magestic wood burning fireplace. Seated on opposite sides of the fire place are OCW Wrestlers Matt "Maniac" Wilson and Samuel Von Kerin. Sitting on the leather couch directly opposite the fireplace is Nathan Gaines and his wife Jeni Wilson Gaines. On the floor in between all four people is Sean Gaines, Nathan and Jeni's 4 year old son and OCW Legend Recon.** Recon: Let's see that left right that Grandpa Recon taught ya **Recon puts up his hands and Sean, looking right and Recon studies his hands, and slightly confused, pauses before just running right at Recon who catches the young boy and falls backwards lifting him high into the air** Matt: Jen, it's amazing I can't believe how big my nephew is getting. Samuel: Dat der boy is growin up uberfast, good thing he looks just like his mother **Everyone lets out a laugh** Gaines: At least I don't look like the Phantom of the Opera there Sammy. I'm not buyin it's still from that motorcycle accident. Jeni: Don't be picking on Samuel, you know if I hadn't gotten involved with you I woulda married him **Jeni winks at Samuel and playfully pushes Nathan away from her on the couch before Nathan grabs her in close and kisses her** Matt: Last thing I need to see is my sister doing that. **Recon who has stood up and is holding Sean, realizes that the young boy is starting to fall asleep. He nods to Jeni and Nathan, who both stand up to take the boy from him. Recon puts his hand up and signals to both of them** Recon: Let me take him. I'll read him one of my favorite war stories and I'll put him right down. **Recon and Sean leave the room and head up the marble staircase to the upstairs section of the house** Jeni: I have to say I think this is the first pre-Christmas gathering we've had were all three of my boys aren't in the wrestling ring. You boys were always so beat up and it pained me to see how much of a struggle it was for all of you Gaines: Geez babe you make it seem like we're all old cripples. Samuel: Speak for yourself Nathan I'm no young tike anymore. After the motorcyle accident and the constant bumps and bruises I just couldn't do a full schedule anymore. I sure do miss the boys in the back though. Has anyone talked to Johnny D or Rodney lately? Wilson: I just got off the phone with Kris the other day. He's tourin with the band again but he's made some apperances at events. God those were some battles we had. It was those battles that brought my career to a close a lot quicker than I wanted it to. Gaines: We're talking about battle scars? Matty you nearly ended my career when you suplexed me off the cage at Summercide '07. Let's be thankful that didn't do it cause I had numerous other factions to kill. Jeni: I'm just gonna go check on Recon and Sean to make sure Sean isn't too fussy. **Jeni gets up and kisses Nathan and than walks over to Samuel. She hugs Samuel and kisses him on the cheek. She than walks over to her brother Matt Wilson and gives him a hug. Matt kisses his sister on the cheek and wishes her well** Wilson: Hell of a catch you got their Nathan. Gaines: Best achievement I've had Samuel: Dat kid of yours is uber special as well Wilson: He's somethin, and it's amazing how much he loves Recon. Gaines: As you guys know Recon mentored all of us. He taught me everything I know in the ring and a lot of what I know out of it. He's been there for me and Jeni throughout everything. Been able to get past some of the differences we've had and I couldn't think of a better Godfather for Sean. He loves that kid like it was his own. Samuel: He's a special man. True class and a hell of a Hall of Famer. Wilson: Speaking of the Hall of Fame and the business you guys ever miss it? Think about gettin back into the ring Samuel: I miss the competition but I sure as hell don't miss the politics Wilson: I don't miss the travel and the time away from home Gaines: I miss the fans and the respect and admiration we had when we were out in that ring. Ya know whether we were winning or losing we were part of something big. Hell even when the Militia was around we were part of a legacy. Wilson: We were somethin Samuel: Those were da days. Wilson: Amen I'll drink to that. Gaines: To the business that give us everything we have Samuel and Wilson: TO THE BUSINESS **All three men toast and raise their glasses before taking a swig of their drink. As the camera fades back the three men continue laughing and jolly conversation. The camera scene fades to the way it came in and settles on the overall shot of the house**
  19. I like where this is going.....Leon formed a team on the last Riot andnow someone took Sensation out. All very interesting. I hope this turns into the who took our RD storyline cause that was a lot of fun Good work on this storyline now let's just hope we get some good fueds surrounding this one
  20. This is disheartening Aries was a great member of the werstling organization and in many ways was vastly underappreciated. He was the Vega of this generation. Great in ring skill but not always put in the top when speaking about the greats. Alex and Leon have been behind 3 firings in the last few days. Something smells pretty fishy if you ask me.
  21. This makes me hate Alex and Leon even more those bastards
  22. Gaines has some free time and wouldn't mind GM'ing :)
  23. Quick thoughts----> Hazard and KD's match seemed like they each spammed certain moves. Not sure if it was on purpose or just forgetting their moveset but in particular KD seemed to use that drop down uppercut punch very very often. Smythe's character interests me a lot. I like what he brings to the table, and I think he's a good character because he's not necessarily Main Event or in the Main Event picture but he still does things that seem big and important and really capture the attention of the viewer The whole Agent signing thing in my opinion is dumb. Are we really suppose to buy that Trips signing with Valmont's agent is a big deal and that it's going to make Valmont so angry? Was Valmont in love with his agent or something? Cause if he wasn't than it's not a big deal. These two have a gold fued that they're sitting on, and it could be a great non title Main Event fued. There's already hatred there. Don't ruin it with stupid angles. Cruz impresses me each week. He makes matches look good Seth Irving when he RPs is one of the greatest of all time when you put it with his in ring skill. I like that he has team Irving with him and no one else mentioned how great it was that he was carrying around a cut out of Matt Wilson. That shit made me laugh. I loved the ending to the show. I thought that it had a great TV Main Event feel to it. It's not like it's a PPV where you're gonna have a shock moment. It was cool to see Leon and Alex thinking they were gonna run shit again and then boom here comes Jay in his limo tellin everyone that it's his world and they're payin rent. I loved how Leon and Alex didn't back down at all. Gonna make for some great stuff here. Finally I loved the NA TItle coming back and RD drivin that. Recon being tied in is great. Makes the prestige of the title come alive even more. I would love to see whenever the title is redebuted to have Guys like Tyler Ewanchuk Matt Wilson Chris Mania and hell even put Leon there to help bring the title back.
  24. OCW needs more KAAAAAAAAAAAAAANG!!
  25. Could we get a new Alex Robinson too because the fact that she looks like an uncle of mine is extremely creepy
