Sitting on the sideline in retirement, it's great to see my friends put on a hell of a show, but I swear to God if Cody Storm lays a finger on my mentor, my friend, the father figure in my life, Recon I will personally come back and kick his ass from here to Emoville, and that is not a threat it's a promise

I enjoyed the show. Three things stuck out to me. 1.) Hostile cut an amazing RP. I know the whole death thing on Riot was a bit questionable, but he's taken that ball and run with it and turned it into one of the best RPs he's written. Also a great opportunity for him to transition to a face and a strong face at that. 2.) Ryder and Trance killed it with their post match RP. Trance played his role perfectly and Ryder gave a logical and powerful answer as to why he betrayed everything he once stood for to join APEX. This was a solid RP 3.) Leon coming back drew two emotions in me One I loved seeing him come back as I believe he's a big enough name to take on APEX and him and Trev have a great history and would be interesting to see these two work together to take on APEX. However Leon made me cry slightly when he cut his face RP return. Leon's strength, and I've told him this before, has never been in writing. However, during his height as a heel Leon got a lot better in writing as a heel. Leon has yet to master a strong face writing style in my opinion. I was hoping to see him come back and cut a real strong RP not only against Trev but against APEX as well. I think Leon tried to do too much Rock when I was hopin he'd come back with a Triple H type intensity RP. Overall Riot was strong and we have some strong momentum heading into next week. However it is A MUST that Aries and Valmont submit something for Riot because I fear that Trance and Ryder will end up having to carry APEX and take it from me when everyone doesn't pull their weight in a faction it falls apart quickly
-
Don't make me join APEX and completely derail all of your careers.

The Sig is a badass for Cross I've always liked it although I have to say I like Cross' look in 2011. Also since Cross replied to Parker's post does that make Cross Parker's Bitch?
-
We could Co-GM that'd make for a great show..a "fuckin emo faggot" and a "drunken racist idiot" has the makings of a great show right there
-
Some of the other Rps were really solid. I really enjoyed the MMM angle and subsequent RP. I sometimes wish I had the game and recording device just so I could use the creativity avenues the game has to exploit some awesome angles.

Gaines as the on-screen new GM?
-
Holy Crap Valmont you don't read anything... No one has criticized you for lack of effort. Stop playing that card cause it's getting incredibly old. We're allowed to say what we think. If an angle was shit we'll call it shit point blank. That doesn't make us bad people or assholes or not invested in seeing OCW succeed. If I'm not mistaken since last year you've been calling OCW doomed. Pretty sure we've been thriving lately. As Smythe said OCW is the best it's been in a while it just lacks star power right now, but that's what's going on right now. OCW is making new stars. As for you saying that half of us aren't worthy of carrying the strap, I gotta be honest with you I dont' really think you deserve it either. You lucked into a title scene a few years ago when the roster was at it's bare bones, and becaues you were there once you've stayed there. Your title runs have been questionable at best, but regardless you've tried and I wont' fault you on that. Moral of the story is stop thinking we're attacking you personally, stop being melodramatic, stop pissing and moaning and thinking you're a victim and just come up with something next week. Simple
-
First off Valmont you are the biggest hypocrit I know. One you've taken time off of four years most recently after Lution. That's not a problem as people have real life shit to do so I don't mind that at all. Second you bitch and bitch about OCW wasn't what it used to be. You pulled shit like that when OCW was "what it was" you'd be torn apart and if Geo was running the show it probably wouldn't air. Thirdly, I hope the rookies produce better shows as they're the one's that are gonna be around a lot longer than the older guys. More people producing good stuff = a better OCW. You always talk/talked about how you wanted discussion about shows and what not, well you got it and people gave their feedback on the angle you came up with....it was shit. That doesn't mean people are bashing you as a person which you seem to thing and then fireback that no one likes your effort. Grow some thick skin kid. It's people telling you the storyline angle is completely unrealistic. Plain straight you struck out on it. Move on come up with something better and we'll all forget about it and talk about something else. Your arguments you come back with make you look like a whinny girl sometimes and I know you're better than that

I have to say I've really been captivated by both Ambition and Riot lately and up until this week I was digging the Aries Valmont fued as I felt like it was gold since it really hasn't been done in the style the were doing it. The whole GTA video attached to a fake rape video is GARBAGE. Pushing the envelope is fine but that was done poorly. Valmont you're trying to do every "look at me I"m a heel thing" and this doesn't make you more of a heel it makes you look cartoonish. Look at Kage as a heel (not saying you're trying to be him) but he got over as a scary sadistic heel without ever cursing in RPs, Raping someone's sister, or killing anyone. If I'm not mistaken he did an angle where he kidnapped AJ's girlfriend (assistant) and did the whole creepy "uncomfortable" thing and it wasn't overdone. As for the GTA video robbing a bank and picking up a gun and all that....REALLY?!!!?!?!?!?! That's not pushing the envelop that's just dumb and idiotic. That's not believable in a wrestling sense. I know in wrestling we're suppose to suspend believability in order to be entertained, but that would never ever happen in wrestling. As for your defense of show me something better, I can point out a few storylines going on right now that are done with out going over the top. As for the defense of you putting effort in, that's sorta a meh argument. I mean you can put effort into a crappy storyline and it's still crap. Not saying this storyline is crappy but it took a negative turn with that in my opinion.

I'm no expert but isn't the purpose of this "game" to tell the person to do something in which they haven't...because if so you my friend have lost Riot thoughts. I like the Valmont Aries angle. The Aries "heel" thing is awesome cause it's different. He's playin the anti-hero hate me because I'm not what you want me to be type angle. Valmont plays off well into it and the fact that he's so "into" himself makes the two of them together enjoyable to watch TJ Stevens didn't quiet get but I haven't followed Ambition as closely as I should so I'm sure there was some mention in there that Aries was his mentor. I have no problem with Rookies being involved in a mini-angle with the Champ as it a.) gives them awesome exposure and b.) keeps things fresh Dane's Character is the perfect mid-carder right now. He's gotten shit on in the past for his old actions but he's really been quiet enjoyable to watch. I like'd his whole celebration thing and Iceberg vs Dane will be new so it should be interesting. The angles they have to play off of with both character progression I liked the interaction between tag teams as I think tag fueds are pretty solid and somewhat unexplored territory as we've never really been able to substain a indepth actual tag teamed fued. I like where the Cross thing is going and the same with Smythe-Sensation angles. Could be interesting. I liked the video RP'd Brawls but I thought the Dane Chokeslam was abit overdone as you guys are a secondary fued and I think a spot like that early on in a fued is a bit much. In retrospect I really liked it used with Mayhem and Aries. I just thought it fit. Overall very good show. P.S> I liked Trips-Crowe interaction (Don't want Trips to thing I didn't pay attention to his stuff.
-
You're facing Smythe and Jookie
-
Enjoyed the show however as has been mentioned by Jay I didn't get that storyline fued infused PPV feeling. With that said it's not that there wasn't any storyline, as I feel like Crowe and Trips has been working well. At first when Crowe used to randomly appear about a year ago I wasn't into his character but he's definitely grown on me and I love his theme entrance and RP skill. So kudos to you Crowe. I also enjoyed the Finale as the editting and the story telling in that moment was unbelievable. I felt Aries pain as he was unsure if he should use the chair. At one point for the second chair shot I thought he was going to chair shot Valmont. Not really sure how I feel about Valmont in that situation but I digress. As for the matches, I enjoyed Trips v. LeTuce as the opener. The pimp gave the biker all he could handle and fought a lot better than I thought he was going to. I also enjoyed Trance vs. Dane. Dane's character has really grown on me, but for some reason (and I'm not sure if this is because he's wrestling Trance who isn't huge) but Dane your character looks like he's got to be at least 6' 7". I"m always skeptical when people build their Caw that way as I feel like they're trying to expose the ability to land long grapples, but I'm not saying thats what you're doing, just more or less a thought on it all. Anyways that match itself was down to the wire and I'm was glad to see Trance get the win as he's a good friend. I loved the fact that Sensation made a few apperances on the show, as I always am a fan of having some type of authority figure intertwined within the show. I liked his fining of Smythe, and I hope that plays along some type of storyline for Smythe and Darkside as it could be a nice secondary storyline. I liked seeing the handpicked opponent for Smythe as it was nice to see DJ back. Glad he didn't win as I feel if that happened in WWE it wouldn't make sense to have a one time showing advance in a tourney. Anyways nice win for KD and from what I"ve seen his ethics and FPR have gotten a lot better. The EX Division match was a bit rough, but DJACK is definitely a beast. Some day I might come back for my title DJACK :) Speaking of Titles, I'm glad to hear the Tag Titles are coming back. I just hope we don't have ME guys trying to team up and win them and then holding them without them being the main focus as such has happened in the past. Also I'd love to see some Ambition Guys actually form teams with a background and what not and challenge for the titles. Either way the tag titles have always been something I wanted to win and probably one of my favorite divisions. I'll have to watch, but the division might need some SEX. Overally great matches mediocre RPs so out of 5 stars I give it 3.75 stars

Hey Baxter my Xbox went down if you have 10 still can you tape the match with DJack. You can drop the title to him as I know you'll be wrestling with bare minimum stats. Just try to do the match justice and I'll use my rematch clause when I can get my XBOX back

Happy Birthday to an old friend and someone I came into OCW with and helped me grow and mature and really hone my craft at making this a game but also a serious piece of work to take pride in. Happy Birthday my friend
-
Very true I agree I'm just saying the Powerbomb I guess was a bit much... And Smythe you are so full of shit it's crazy. (Contrary to popular belief that's not a bad thing) You eat your own shit up so much I can't help but sorta like it. Kudos to you for not lacking confidence
-
Thought the show was pretty solid... The Mayhem-Smythe fued was good for what it was but I"m hoping both men move on from here. I think Mayhem is a great dominate champion, and right now the only person I see that might give him a run for his money would possibly be Aries. As for Smythe I don't know what he does from here. I'm eager to see. He's definitely a Main Event top guy but I don't know who he could work with now as his title shot has gone(don't mean that in a bad way I just mean this fued is over and maybe in a bit again he goes after the title). Either way both men gave a strong fued and the effort was appreciated I thought Baxter winning was a nice moment, but I have to be honest for some reason I didn't get that underdog face feeling when he did win. I don't know if it's because I like Parker so much or what but that's the impression I got. I'm sure Baxter will do a great job though as Television Champion. I didn't like the attack of the GM with Parker and Hennig. The Riot GM reminds me of Kage for some reason in terms of looks which I like, and I know he's a badass but attacking an OCW superstar just is odd in my opinion The Perfect Circle match...just wow. Aries is a badass. Valmont's character and the whole FI thing seems to have fallen by the wayside and I was disappointed with what he submitted(nothing). I dug Richard Clarke sending out his three henchmen and I'm eager to see who these three men are. My guess is the bigger one who Jackhammered Aries through the table is Charles Morgan. Just a feeling.... Xavier looks like a bastard child of Double A. His match with Trance was pretty solid, but the ref looked like he was definitely paid off by Xavier as he got in Trance's way a few times. Either way nice win for Xavier. **Special props to Xavier who helped me and D.Jones out by recording our match. So thank you The tag match to open the show was yikes (in terms of it becoming a handicapped match as I think this could have helped propel a tag division). Mania flaking is a joke. I like Mania and what he used to be was awesome, but now he's just a punchline. He ruined any legacy he had. As for Rox coming out with red skin and horns, it looked like we signed some noob to wrestle on the PPV. The Darkside getting the win was expected, and as Park said the shooting star leg drop by Jook was nice and I was happy to see KD and Jook set that up well. I hope that helps them maybe kick start a tag fued/division, because KD and Jook have definitely done a great job at pushing themselves as a legit team (if there's anyone to fued with) As for my match. Finding people and getting everyone coordinated for a time was damn near impossible. It sucked that we couldn't give a true Rage in the Cage EX match. I know I have dropped the ball somewhat in this title reign and part of it is my fault part is circumstance, but I will give 125% effort from where on out. As far as D. Jones this kid is the future. He's a hell of a person and a good wrestler. Unfortunately, the match itself sucked because of the connection. We had so many "attempting to reconnect" messages and pauses that a 13-15 minute match took 25-30 minutes to actually wrestle. I did my best to edit it down and try to make it flow, but it still wasn't to pleasing. I thought at the end it was a pretty decent finish as we both raced up the cage, seeing who would get out first. The potential of the match could have been a 10 but the overall result was probably truthfully a 5.5 at best. But I tell you all keep an eye on D. Jones probably the next EX Division Champion

Still have 2010
-
Not to further the issue but if I'm not mistaken Smythe Management has the right to use our characters without our permission. Pretty sure that's in the rules when we sign on if I'm not mistaken.
-
Jook your point is way off...Trance can be a dick to deal with (I'm his tag partner so I would know) bu the's creative and he's had a bunch of successful fueds, with people who want to work with him
-
One I was never in that match Mayhem :( and two I think it's clear to say if I will one day rule the world, I appeal to every freakin race out there. No way I'll lose this one. I just can't have a vice president or cabinet, cause we've seen how well I do with teams.
-
You want the real deal of credentials here they are Nathan Gaines 1x CCW Champion 1x EX Division Champion 5x Failed Factions 1x Got Heart Award Winner Has wrestled in more title matches than anyone else here (Fact) and most importantly.... 1x FUCKING AWESOME
-
By the transitive property I feel like I will also be losing to Aries since I can't beat Trance and Aries' is a jerk and beat me once by kicking out of two of my finishers (Jerk)

First off I need to say this show meant so much to me. To see guys who have been here and left come back and write something for the show, and just to have a night were everything seemed to all be about the love we have for this place was absolutely special. As I said to Leon when talking to him, With this show I laughed, I cried (well teared up didnt' breakdown and cry), I was amazed, I was angry and all the emotions in between. With that said here's a page by page breakdown Page 1 This could be my favorite page of the show. It set the tone nicely for what is to come. The graphic of the show was simple yet elegant, which I think fits our personna over the course of 6 years. So we start out the show with the announcers talking about tonight and Guy saying he can no longer put "this" off. We then get Sensation's theme coming to the show, and when you have an Anniversary Show it's vital that you're owner and founder kick it off Jay's Speech--> In classic Jay fashion he drops F-Bombs left and right but still manages to make me somewhat emotional. Just being here 4.75 years and remembering all of the moments Jay was speaking about and the people that he mentioned, really made me think back to the "Glory Days" and the fun I had when I first got here. I came into OCW as a Junior in High School who was somewhat socially awkward and not necessarily confident. Being able to field an alter ego of Nathan Gaines and hone my writing skills have made OCW so much more than just some "wrestling game". In fact the writing skills I've learned from here have actually helped me secure a job. In fact just recently one of the promotional paragraphs I wrote for a World MasterCard give-a-way were selected and are now on their website. So I thank all the great writers I've learned from here at OCW for that. Anyways with that said, Thank you Jay for this. Arnaud's Interview--> I have to be honest I've been extremely confused as to whether or not Arnaud is face or heel. He had been sitting with the fans recently trying to win their approval, but I guess that got too much for him? Anyway he tells Stacy Clark that someone's gonna get their ass kicked tonight. G-X-T--> Trance and I breakdown the history of OCW in our own way with the unique characters this company's seen. Small RP read it if you want Dylan Jones vs. Wesley A. Poe--> There fued has been a quiet sleeper on Riot the past few weeks, and I dig it. They put work into their RPs and they complement each other nicely in the ring. DJ is out first and I dig his theme for some reason. The pink shirt is different but I like it none the less. Then we get Poe coming out like he's one badass mofo. Poe seems to have the upper hand in the start of the match. Poe busts open Jones late in the match and we have Eminem and Lil Wayne on in the background which I'm diggin. Use this as your next rap theme Smythe. I was hopin to see Poe hit his finisher after he gets the Sig Twist of Fate in there. I was thinking it was going to the perfect ending as we have "You should have never gone to Hollywood" playing as Poe was about to finish D. Jones off. From here things get sticky as we have the NYPD come down and arrest Poe. That D. Jones pulling his cellphone out of his tights is one smart guy. Hoping this fued continues and we figure out what will become of Poe in Jail. ToP Returns!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! In what was one of the paramount things I wanted to see on this Anniversary Show, we get a return of Theatre of Pain. I have to say when the video first started playing and their theme came on I thought to myself "I know that theme but who the hell is it?" Needless to say I was happy I found out who it was. I thought the entrance was put together so well and I'm glad they made it as long as they did because a group like ToP would get a defining ovation if they returned. To have the TiT in there made it even more special. Page 2 I'm not going to breakdown what ToP said but it was so nice. It was cool to have the group come back and somewhat break character to thank everyone. I know Majin and I had our differences early on and I'm fairly sure Fausto hates me, but I appreciate everything that you guys have done. I'm glad to be your "favorite punching bag". By the way ToP on commentary are a major win. Aries Interview--> Aries meets up backstage with Stacy Clark to talk to him about what this Anniversary show means to him. I thought Aries brought up a good point about the "next generation" and impressing the forefathers. Anyways I'm looking to see what Aries has in mind since my tag team partner was too afraid to face him. :) more to come when I have more time tonight

Gotta be the first to say after the speech Jay gave...Thank you Jay for everything...Keep the Memories alive of those who are gone and the presence of mind to look forward to the future. Absolutely Amazing
