That almost makes me not want to put in any work, but instead I'll choose to ignore your storyline. Nathan Gaines Posted January 20, 2011 Posted January 20, 2011 I have to say I've really been captivated by both Ambition and Riot lately and up until this week I was digging the Aries Valmont fued as I felt like it was gold since it really hasn't been done in the style the were doing it. The whole GTA video attached to a fake rape video is GARBAGE. Pushing the envelope is fine but that was done poorly. Valmont you're trying to do every "look at me I"m a heel thing" and this doesn't make you more of a heel it makes you look cartoonish. Look at Kage as a heel (not saying you're trying to be him) but he got over as a scary sadistic heel without ever cursing in RPs, Raping someone's sister, or killing anyone. If I'm not mistaken he did an angle where he kidnapped AJ's girlfriend (assistant) and did the whole creepy "uncomfortable" thing and it wasn't overdone. As for the GTA video robbing a bank and picking up a gun and all that....REALLY?!!!?!?!?!?! That's not pushing the envelop that's just dumb and idiotic. That's not believable in a wrestling sense. I know in wrestling we're suppose to suspend believability in order to be entertained, but that would never ever happen in wrestling. As for your defense of show me something better, I can point out a few storylines going on right now that are done with out going over the top. As for the defense of you putting effort in, that's sorta a meh argument. I mean you can put effort into a crappy storyline and it's still crap. Not saying this storyline is crappy but it took a negative turn with that in my opinion. Because if people read things beginning to end they would see I even said there was feuds that caught my interest, and ones involved doing a good job, but not a single one of you can lie, and say that OCW is what it was. Not by choice, not by the game, but by this roster. I wasn't downgrading anyone's work, and I certainly wasn't reviewing anything so how could I be talking only about me? Only thing I've done so far is try to defend my idea. The GTA was an attempt at being creative. All of you do know what being creative means?? You can call it over the top if you want, but now I just don't care. It's doing something other than repetitive shit. It means NOT BEING AFRAID TO step out of your box. Even I admitted to Aries himself it wasn't the greatest thing ever. It was made for one purpose to progress the storyline. I really think nobody has a mind of their own, one jumps on another comment. I swear if I didn't know any better some on this roster are hypocrites. I mean seriously for four straight years I put my heart, time, effort, and everything else. This doesn't mean I'm better, but it does mean I'm loyal, and I don't do shit then take months and months breaks then return. Because I love how everyone around here thinks their top shit that they have done something, and their shit don't stink. Soon I can bet all of you that the rooks will be producing better shows than yall. I really can care less now who watches this storyline because it's real easy dissecting one's work when your the one doing so. I can take the best criticism in the world, but when it comes out like an attack towards me I don't respond very well. I've read every last one of your comments, and unlike all of you, I WILL MAKE THIS WORK. Believable, or unbelievable in your eyes I see progression, and I will continue working on this storyline.
