Vincent Valmont Posted February 18, 2012 Posted February 18, 2012 It also gives the opportunity to build further character via guys "joining" the commentary team on matches involving somebody they're feuding with. If Suda and Nati would be up for it, this could be the perfect way to do riot from now on Yeah all the more reason to do it. It's not just for feuds, and character developing, but also it gives a fresh feel to matches again. I can sit down through a 30-50 min match if given commentary. Also it will give more meaning to music being played in promos, intros, and anything else instead of having familiar songs replayed throughout the year in matches. Even if we don't make Riot or any show all video again the commentary can still work. OCW's 2008's Most Improved Wrestler 2x OCW Heavyweight Champion2x OCW Hardcore Champion
Leon Valentine Posted February 18, 2012 Posted February 18, 2012 Leons promo was alright, the music could have been muted i guess. I was just going to post the promo on my youtube account originally. I thought it was just matches we were not posting music for heh. I did mute the video but Reese then complained at me as there was no background noise >.< So he must have just gone with the first video. Yeah new theme, actually made up with it as Leon is not the M"F"ker of the Year anymore. Now I know Riot was a lot of work this week and I bet Reese had to do a lot to make this work. One thing I would defiantly keep after this Riot is Matsuda and Illuminati doing commentary, if they have the time and like doing it. I just think they made Riot 10x better. We can go back to the old ways of doing things just keep Suda and Illuminati and have people not put music in their matches and turn voice of in options. 1
The Vega Posted February 18, 2012 Posted February 18, 2012 I should also add to this, that people in a fued should write a little simple compilation of story what they have done so far. So the Commentary has some thing to talk about inbetween the calling of the moves and so the Commentary team isnt forced to spend their entire week being up to date with storylines. If the kick out rule proves to be succesfull the matches will be more to the point and the commentary team combined with the little backstory will be enough info for people to really get into it. If the kick out rule proves unsuccefull, what stops GM or the recorder themself from creating commercials ? Just skip 10 min of the match that have nothing interesting in them and move forward to the last 5 min of the match. 2 http://25.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_m7y1beZ6HA1rxb915o2_r1_500.gif
Matsuda Posted February 18, 2012 Posted February 18, 2012 Nati and I could probably do it, we would just need to find a better way, which will probably happen. Glad everyone loved Nati on the mic, he used to do announcing in high school, which is why I snagged us the spot, lol.

Best way (from experience in Podcast/voice overs with more than one guy) is to just be in the same room. Makes it feel much more organic. Looking forward to more, hopefully, but in order to do that, we'd have to have deadlines say 2 days before the show, so that you guys have enough time to get shit done No.
Tiberius Dupree Posted February 18, 2012 Posted February 18, 2012 Hearing King & Cole in the back kills Nati/Suda's commentary. K.Dangelo Posted February 18, 2012 Posted February 18, 2012 I forgot to change my intro/ring attire . When you get someone else to record your match , you want to get it done whenever you can . The moonsault I didn't hit cleanly and since all of you have been watching entire matches you already know I do one every match . The show was pretty good . Wonder why there more views on the final part than other parts . Valmont is beastly ! LSD's biggest fan ( sorry Kent lol ). THE ALPHA !
