No they don't realize that no matter who wins they gunna face Drago. Leon beat TWO of them, Drago gunna eat the Winner's Lunch, they mamma's Lunch, the Loser's Lunches, their grandparent's lunches. They are all literally fighting for the chance to get their lunch eaten by Drago.
