So I'll explain this and I hope that it's received in a positive way. Alot of of people may not know but Ive consulted many vets and HOF's in regards to FPR. Jehst what you described as "Living in the Grey area", the veterans and more experienced players would describe as "Playing aggressive." I was told by a reputable Hoot and I'm not going to name drop that contrary to popular belief, a reset isn't about spacing it's about giving your opponent a chance to reverse again. If you look at the match there's actually a two "One Thousand" counts after each bump, which is enough time to reverse again. Also you have to take into account that I'm putting myself at risk by bumping considered I am actually able to be hit after a bump, so if the opportunity for offense is not taken or is missed on top of having the opportunity to reverse, it's fair game.

 

I strongly suggest you look at all the veterans matches and see what a good bump is. No one has to even say a word to you. Just go back and look at old footages. What you did throughout the match was weak. Once you take a look at the videos and take a look back at this one then you’ll see for yourself that you were extremely aggressive. This is coming from a very aggressive player.

Personally it's my dream for dennis to bump me then crack him with Thats Sensational for the 1 2 3 just to see him lose his mind.

We already touched on Doc, I will say all I can say is have an understanding about bumping (Id rather not turn this into some kind of discussion) I am all for simplicity. If you get bumped and don't want to, let em know, don't bump me next time. If yall plan to bump all match lettem know. All in all a good win slightly mired.

I remember that. I don’t remember exactly who I was facing oh wait it was YSL vs H2O I believe. He bumped me he stepped back and caught my fin. That was the only time throughout the match I did that.

that is accurate, id say hit a finisher off it is worse then just a grapple or strike, its not match ending a finisher is. Lets leave this as it is and move on.

 

 

Also if people feel wronged in a match, they should be submitting a complaint with staff with the match video and if something questionable is deemed a break then get granted a redo before the show is aired.

Don't mind me, just trying to make Jehstman happy by reviewing his stuff for once.

 

 

So you changed your caw a little (new hair and attire color). Gotta admit, the entrance is neat, especially the light effects. A lot of attention to details. The attire is 8/10, I don't understand why nobody uses custom face textures, they are really easy to import but at least Jehst's face doesn't look like half of the roster so it's ok. The shorter hairstyle you had on Lution looked more Mauler, the one you have now looks more Hollywood. You are stuck in between I see. It's kinda philosophical, it makes me think, like the Ying and the yang

 

In ring: you improved obviously, even though I rarely see you on the dm channel. Your style is somewhere between a showboat and a brawler, which matches the caw that's also somewhere between Batista and Miz, not for nothing a mauler and an actor. I'm all for putting on good matches, but this is a competitive fed, don't forget. Your style was effective and that's all that matters for now. You'll have time to expand your repertoire.

 

The post match RP: I'm guessing you are now reborn, ready for a fresh start. Can't really find anything bad to say, you have a gimmick and you stick with it, that's already well above the average and not easy to do every week without running out of ideas, so props to you.

 

Constructive criticism: Hollywood Mauler? I mean, Wrexy Wrexy looks like a mauler, Trance looks like a mauler. You were rocking pink underwear and getting your butt handed to you just a few weeks back. You gotta earn your nicknames! The Hollywood brawler, the Hollywood fighter, the Hollywood athlete... or you know what, keep mauler, but you better make sure you MAUL your opposition from now on

I didn't want to get involved but after Kass' last comment it modivated me to speak up.

 

Some of you have been riding Jett hard for what you all call "The Grey Area" or poor etiquette but not once has anyone pointed out Tyler's "Grey Area" (at 9:48 on the clip) when Jett tried to run and jump off of the ropes to kick Tyler, but quickly landed on his face due to the fact that Tyler deliberately ran away from the attack to avoid it and not waste a reversal...If we are going to point out flaws let's point them all out.

 

P.S I am not trying to throw anyone under the bus, just laying everything onto the table.

Didn't know that was a grey area Benji, but honestly he was just avoiding a move and not wasting a reversal. A lot of people run from moves such as those, I've seen you do it yourself in dark matches. Wasn't really wrong for it, like you said he wasn't planning on wasting a reversal so he didn't. I'm sure he wanted to preserve his reversals for an aggressive player such as Jett, although he could've used a different method. Now the comment about people riding Jett, I don't have anything to say about that except that maybe people have old grudges about Jett.

1) Glad you like the CAW/entrance, etc. As for face imports, I don't really ever use them, I just face morph like in older games haha. It'd be weird to give him a new face at this point so I'll leave it.

 

2) You don't see me in the DM channel often because I live in the Upside Down and everyone is always DMing while I'm at work, which sucks cos I'd love to DM more. His style has constantly evolved throughout the year, but I initially took influence from my favorite wrestlers in terms of style so I've been tweaking moves here and there to more suit his personality and such. Like you say, work in progress, etc.

 

3) Appreciate the gimmick feedback. It's something (over the last few weeks especially) I've tried to bring out in him with film metaphors, references to actors, etc. As for the win, it definitely gave me a bit of a boost as I've not won since I beat Jimmy Henry a while back. I think I'm half decent on the sticks but I need to find a rhythm otherwise I fall apart against seasoned opponents (see: ass whipping via Wrex).

 

4) Perhaps surprisingly I totally agree with you on the whole "Mauler" name. It was something I started with and his style and personality has gone in the opposite direction. It's probably going to be dropped to be honest as it's conflicting. I'm going to be evolving more so towards the actor/eccentric personality as I feel I can write that better and I like that showman in-ring style too.
