Hey I credit Jay for that and I have never said I don't respect him or what he's done, he's created a great thing here but he's not untouchable. Like anyone else if he fucks up he's going to here about it.

 

Many a time he said on the desk that he loves the fact OCW stand up and tell you when there's a problem rather than talking about it "backstage". There's a lot of backstage chatter going on ATM and there has been for a while. This backstage chatter is starting to become public in good old fashioned OCW style but I'm now starting to wonder if Jay does like it as much as he said he did.

 

Did Steve say what he did in a very harsh way? Yes he did.

 

Did Jay say what he said to me in a very harsh way? Yes he did.

 

We're all equal and Jay may be the first amoung equals but if the people who put on the content see a problem we have the right to voice our opinions.

 

Jay has done all the programming etc but without people like me and Steve who have been putting content into shows for the best part of 2 years he programming wouldn't be worth shit.

Dude, Jay created this site yea and I don't discredit him for it. I talk to him as much as I can maybe some shit talk in there but it's all in fun and I like to get his opinion on shit, he's got my respect.

 

But as anyone would say a site ain't shit without loyal members, and it's safe to say Steve is a loyal member. So if he said it wrong maybe thats ah Strike but when you go and ban a Loyal member but won't ban people that won't say shit or do shit then it raises a question.

 

Got people scared to say shit cause they think there gonna get the ban hammer.

Look, I try to stay impartial, but Steve's been a big help to the OCW site. Yes, his approach is a bit...harsh, and he tends to say things the way he feel's F the sugar coating. But banning him for this, I believe may have been a bit harsh, considering his concerns were more than valid.

 

I do believe this topic should have ended on page fucking 2.

 

But then again, I also understand peoples concerns for getting the draft done, and I believe that people may be losing interest in OCW because of the lack of storylines, because we're supposed to hold off on them.

 

Turmoil's a good example. People are still trying to write up RP's to entertain, but the people who aren't a part of it, don't give a shit.

 

Well just a reminder for the people who haven't been here through the dark ages, and stuff. OCW is run, and continues to run, by a community that supports the creativity of each individual person. I'm seeing a lack of support, which will lead to a lack of substance, and honestly, it's a chain reaction that will be the ultimate demise of OCW.

No. I realize why you may be confused though, because at a time we had planned to be tag team partners...which worked off a joker like gimmick, but he left out of nowhere so i went on with the actual joker gimmick by myself, and now once again out of nowhere he might be coming back I assume, and really needs a different gimmick. As from the beginning a joker like gimmick was my idea.

 

Not trying to whine or anything just what i think should happen since i've already debuted the gimmick in shows and such.

I can't believe I missed this thread. I am too busy in la la land or something. I read what I believed to be somebody's quote of what Steve posted.

 

I am the last person anybody would probably ever expect to get Steve's back here...but the "ban" is not called for in my opinion. Draft or no draft, I could care less about when it takes place. As Versus said, I'm doing stuff with Bold and Amart who are on a different show. My point, I don't agree with Steve's point of view on moving a draft along, because I don't give a shit if it ever happens or not...or when it happens, or how it happens, however, banning him for what he posted is just ridiculous.

 

You ban somebody for being out of line. You ban somebody for using racial slurs (in a non-acceptable fashion...I'm fine w/ the jew jokes). You ban somebody for poor fpr after three strikes, you ban somebody for stealing site content and using it in an unacceptable fashion. You ban somebody for being a useless member who creates issues that cannot be tolerated.

 

Steve may piss and moan at times, and come across as a negative Nancy, but so fucking what. That's his perogative. Its like a radio station, if you don't like what you're hearing, change the fucking station or turn the volume down.

 

Sensation, I know that I've said much worse things to you on IM, and probably on posts. I know Double Asshole has said much worse in old posts. Sometimes, even when we run shit, we have to be able to accept critisism. We live in a free country where people should have the right to express their opinions.

 

Banning a member that has contributed so much over the past two years because he called you lazy is just dumb. You are a New Yorker, I know you have thicker skin than that. You are better than this Sensation. Everybody realizes that you created this, and that you are in control. But you've said it yourself, we, the members have also helped to create this. You need us as much as we need you. Its a symbiotic relationship. One cannot exist without the other. Steven Jones is very much a part of this organization, this community, and this product. To remove him from it because he got under your skin is flexing muscles that you need not flex to prove that you are in charge.

 

I move that we return Jones to the roster, close this thread, and return to normal.
