CCW Turmoil 06-03-2008

[Versus]

Since the matches were already reviewed, I'm not going to go over them again. There were more RP's then matches this week, and the RP's were quality, so that's my focus in this review.

 

Turmoil RP Review for Lazy Self Serving Fux

 

I'm not going to focus on my material, or mention it. BUT I WILL let you know, that you did miss the SHOW LONG (all 5 pages) return of VS BAR.

 

Page 1.

 

Trance starts off the show droppin KNOWLEDGE!! He uses words in this RP that 80% of the roster won't understand, but I personally admire. He put together a verbal twister around Val, callin him second fiddle to the 1 man orchestra known as Jacob Trance. I'm diggin it.

 

Commentators open up the show with some witty banter back and forth.

 

First appearance of someone in the ring with a mic...Bauer...BradBauer. Looks like he needs a p.a. or someone to take care of his flight schedule, because Bauer can't keep track of shit! It appears the RingMaster has been fuddling around with Bauers flight times. Brad asks that loony ass Ringmaster for Anthony...or now (as the RM indicated) Anton "the magnificent". The RM then leaves Bauer with an offer "Join The Final Act Brad Bauer...or be destroyed by it."

 

Next up lil sexy ass cuntry bumpkin...Bobbi Jo. For some reason, I keep picturing Rogue from X-Men...not the movie Rogue, the middle aged "C'mon suga" Rogue. Val's first appearance on this Turmoil, and wow, it's Brokeback Finale! Tassles, honkey tonk haircut and all! Fantastic. VALLEN? Val's first name is VALLEN!? What...was Allen taken? HAHAH! Finale doesn't seem as confident as his opponent did, Val's response to being asked if he was ready to take on Trance was " I guess...." I'm not sure if this is the first RP to use "Varmit" in it, but it's a quality placement, good RP.

 

VS BAR

 

Air and Nate have an interaction, that's pretty odd. I haven't seen these two talk much before. Buuuuut, I guess since it involves Gaines...Air has...vested interest. He offers some advice to the Franchize, to get Rev Inc to regroup...and if that doesn't work. He tells Nate, that "a man's gotta do, what a man's gotta do." Whatever that means.

 

 

Page 2.

 

This opens with Aries forcing out a sneeze, but sharig it...all over Chloe. After Chloe gets over the booger bath Aries just gave her, she collects herself like the true professional that she is, and asks the questions at hand. Which, this time, revolve around the triple threat cage match Aries is involved in later this evening. Aries expresses his excitement, then turns all Ortiz on us by tossin in a racial reference. He goes on to explain that he and Ryder have been talking again, and he can see Ryder winning his triple threat match, and tosses in an insult to Trips while he's at it. After Aries short rant about how he's going to win, a still bitter Chloe says that her money's on Seth. Aries is hurt...for a short period of time...until he realizes that he's not even friends with Chloe. Funny RP.

 

Greed gets called into Regans office. Regan explains that Gaines can't make tonights match...I can only assume Gaines is out tanning to get another skin tone added to his repetoire. So Regan replaces Gaines with Ed Reed, which Greed scoffs at....until Regan adds my boy SMYTHE into the mix. Yeah...Greed and Casey aren't so cool with that lil addition.

 

Rivers (the commentator) gets clotheslined for a reason I will not go into.

 

Knox gets kicked out. I'd elaborate, but seriously, that's it.

Page 3:

 

Carlos goes to see a psychiatrist, Dr. Boycott. Why do all CCW/OCW wrestlers doctors have the most peculiar names? Eh, anyway...UH OH FLASHBACK TIME!!! Carlos goes back and realizes that his "trouble' started in December, during OCWFED.NET PRESENTS Chill Faktor, when he heard a voice that knew exactly what Carlos wanted and needed to hear. He then tells how he paid for this session to this doctor, by explaining that the people who were filming for Carlos' latest movie role, were 'dumb enough' to leave their wallets and checkbooks accessible for filthy theiving Mexicans. Carlos then explains that the voice is getting louder and more aggressive and controls what Carlos does, even leading to attacking Trisha, and some rookies...very 'unCarlos' like. Then Carlos admits to using "performance enhancing powder," I used performance enhancing powder a few times, but that shit just makes me grind my teeth, drink water, and makes me want to turn up the music, but this powder caused Carlos' mental state to somewhat collapse, and give him a mild case of what I believe to be bilingual schiztophrenia.

 

Next up, since I didn't write it...is the introduction of a new member of the Bloodline. His name is Poe, and he's now part of what will prove to be the most dominant team of performers ever assembled...and just think...we haven't even started yet.

 

Next up, Soul Glo decides that he's not going to wrestle again, until he's up against someone with melanin in their skin. Quit an entertaining lil read, Chuuurch.

Post Irving, Ryder, Aries triple threat...

 

Mace comes down to the ring, seemingly for Seth, and rips the cage door off of the cage and orders all the other competitors out of the ring. They comply. Mace and Seth do a little jawing back and forth, before A-Jax makes his way into the ring to start a sneak attack on Seth. Before they leave, and after they hit him with the "25 to Life" they once more inform Seth of what a mistake he made, ever getting into the cell...willingly or unwillingly with DR.

 

 

Next up, I swear I thought Gaines was going to turn heel, but instead Nate Ortiz gets smart and kicks out the "cancer" as Guy put it. There are accusations of not being team players flying all around the Rev Inc locker room between Nate and Nathan. But the final straw comes when Nate tells Gaines to learn to be a team player, and until then, you're OUT of Rev Inc. Sha-na-na-na, sha-na-na-na, hay hay hay, fuckin cya.

 

Page 5:

 

VS BAR FINALE.

 

And after a great main event, Regan comes out after Rivers had been bitching about getting clotheslined by Coop. He informs Rivers that he'll rectify the situation, and does...by putting Rivers in a 1 on 1 match with Coop next week. I guess Rivers shouldn't have posed a threat to XXXXX and he wouldn't have been in this prediciment.

 

Thanks for not reading the show shitheads. Really makes people want to contribute mroe when nobody cares. Awesome, really, seriously, awesome.

Turmoil RP Review

 

Page 1.

 

Jacob Trance opens the show with a different RP. Instead of just using the standard lines of calling your opponent stupid Trance ties in the city with his dismissing of Val Finale. The one thing that I don't like is Trance using the whole Messiah type gimmick as I think that can be over done sometimes. I do hope though that he is continued to be given a chance because just baed off of this RP he shows he has talent.

 

 

Brad Bauer is next and he's in ring talking about his man crush A-Mart. Bauer is suspicious that the Ring Master is screwing up his flights. Of course this brings out the Ring Master who offers Bauer a chance to join the Circus. I did like the proposal because I think it puts Bauer in an interesting spot. I always felt that Bauer would be a MUCH better heel and I hope this is an opportunity he takes to go heel.

 

Bobbie Jo is a very interesting character. I like how she has complete control over Val Finale. The little comedy of Val being uncomfortable in the cowboy outfit is great. I like the pairing here and I like Trance and Val working together which I hope they continue.

 

Versus Bar makes it's return and Versus is at it in full. Smythe adds a new little touch and for some reason I feel like Versus isn't gonna hold anything back. Looks like Coop is still inslaved by the Sage Master. Smythe talks about how he's upset at Vimes and how he's the real OCW Champion. This section was more about Smythe but still good none the less

 

Air and Nate together is very odd. However, it seems like Air tries to convince Nate to "do the right thing" for Rev Inc and get rid of Nathan if he's being a problem. Seems like Air is having Nate do some work for him without Nate even realizing it.

i appreciate the preivies people do, but why do them if you only do 1/4 of it?
