First part is very important. I failed to put the impact I should have on that. Just because you win a match filled with FPR fuck ups doesn't mean it should be submitted. Talk it out like a civilized person and do better. I also agree with the 2nd part. My main issue is not with the FPR itself, more-so that it's become a consistent issue to the point that it's taking away from the great RP/match content being posted by our community on a week-to-week basis. I want to read about what x person thinks about a story, not how someone can't follow rules. We bow to Nate

Hello OCW fans! Welcome to something I don't want to do! This is about to be overly negative, sure, but since we're all here in this wonderful community gifted to us by the all-powerful Jaysin Sensation, and week after week on TV, you animals (you know who you are) continue to spit in his face by breaking the carefully crafted rulebook that is FPR, I HAVE to do this. So now, instead of sitting back and enjoying the RPs, instead of finding out which new fun Summer storylines I can't wait to see unfold, instead of watching fun, competitive matches... I get to walk through every single match and call out every single FPR break... and what better show to do it than one with KD in the main event! Since my politeness has not worked with fixing FPR and the same mistakes keep happening, I guess THE FPR REPORT will have a comfy home on both Riot and Turmoil. ...and yes, I'm sure you'll say "oh Jake it's not that bad, it's just a thing here or there" but I am tired of discussing FPR every show. I am tired of people making excuses and flat out lying about shit they SHOULD KNOW ABOUT. I am tired of not being able to say something about the stories and instead have our entire community chucked to the side because we're talking about following rules. I love to be liked, but I guess I have to be a fucking asshole like Kass for anyone to pay attention. To be clear to everyone here, I'm only including FPR breaks that are included in writing in the handbook, clearly written, clearly told. If you're a rookie and you're breaking FPR because you choose to take rule advice from other rookies instead of simply asking your fellow more experienced veteran peers, that is your fault. I will only include blatant rule-breaks... I will not include anything obviously glitchy. So without further ado- ® Leo Grimm vs Kalix Eastbrook Total hard FPR Breaks: 10 (TEN) Before I even get to the match, why in the unholy fuck is there a MICROPHONE ON. Rookie gets a pass, but cmon man. We're an e-fed held together by ducktape and immersion. Please don't fight matches with your microphone in or on. If you want to talk to your opponent, join a party so it's not picked up in the recording. Also, since I'm being an obnoxious prick anyways, I might as well point out that Leo has the WWE logo. Again, rookie, so he gets a pass, but the rest of you - NO WWE SHIT IN YOUR ENTRANCE. It literally takes no effort to fix this. If you don't want to create a custom tron, just use Undertaker (generic blue), 98 Kane (generic red) there's a ton of options. Not recording your own ent? Don't make a custom tron and expect your opponent to make it for you. ANOTHER THING - Staff and management deemed FPR tests redundant, so we changed our system. Let me break it down to those of you that are new how this is supposed to work. If you are in a "DM" on TV, this is essentially an FPR test. People involved in a "DM" were to send Spider the match BEFORE IT HIT SUBMISSIONS so he could watch it and clear it for TV. Apparently, like 3 weeks into this new system, people just stopped giving a fuck (OR WE WERE NOT CLEAR ENOUGH) that these are to go to Spider for approval FIRST. So they just started going straight to the shows. JAY HAS ENOUGH SHIT TO DO than to watch your fucking matches before posting them, so they're just posted and we all have to suffer the results. That being said - this match is a prime example why OCW needs to bring back FPR testing offline. If you're not ready for TV, you don't belong on TV. Simple. Keep practicing and try another FPR test. Not being hyper familiar with all of OCW's rules on day 1 is fine, but not reading the handbook like it's gospel and respecting what the legends have built in OCW enough to read the handbook is not. The rules are clear. Anyways - This fucking match. Jesus. http://i.makeagif.com/media/6-19-2019/yHwVqT.gif #1 CRAPPLE ATTEMPT I understand this game enough to know what animations mean what - most of the top people do, this is why I consider "Crapple attempts" the same as crapples. Watch as Grimm is reversed, he just starts mashing the A button trying to override the reversal and keep his advantage. This is a CLEAR FPR break. This is one of 10 in this match, so take notes if you want to learn. http://freegifmaker.me/img/res/1/5/6/0/9/8/15609873512136613.gif?1560987366 #2 MOONWALK CRAPPLE Leo Grimm gets reversed and just walks away, blatant crapple. It's listed very clearly in the handbook. "Do not Crapple: The act of trying to make it so after you have been reversed that you strike, grapple or walk away from your opponent before they have had a opportunity to capitalize on their reversal." http://i.makeagif.com/media/6-19-2019/qinoud.gif #3 MOONWALK CRAPPLE Again, instead of trying to reverse, Leo walks away and counters asap. http://i.makeagif.com/media/6-19-2019/VupS4O.gif #4 NO RESET AFTER GROUND MOVE This actually comes immediately after #3. Leo attacks using a ground head slam. Ground moves, per the handbook, are resets. You cannot continue to follow up after a ground move of any kind. Yes, even though he gets up via stupid game mechanics on the ropes, there are ways to reset off this. Leo will learn as time goes on, he's just a rookie. This is for the rest of you to refine your FPR. http://i.makeagif.com/media/6-19-2019/7lr_3B.gif #5 ATTACKING AFTER GROUND MOVE Yes, kneeling moves are the SAME AS GROUND MOVES. You must reset. This game is shit. I'm not here to argue whether this should be a rule, I'm here to point out that it IS a fucking rule and not knowing FPR is no excuse for not following it. Once again, LEO is a rookie and is fine. It's not on him this was aired. It's on US as a collective for letting someone who is not ready compete on TV and take up valuable space. http://i.makeagif.com/media/6-19-2019/EsX2WE.gif #6 MOONWALK CRAPPLE Stomping reversals have been long confused by rookies and veterans alike. I don't play favorites. I love Spider, but here, he gets reversed and immediately high-tails it out of the ring instead of following FPR and allowing his opponent to follow up. While I'm here, I should say we're 4 FPR breaks in at this point and neither man has any limb damage. I say this to say, Spider is in a position where we're VERY early in a match and it's clear his opponent has no sense of FPR. He's protecting himself by taking FPR liberties, which is another problem. Breaking FPR leads to protective/revenge FPR breaks "eye for an eye" which is horseshit. Follow FPR and everyone will be happy. http://i.makeagif.com/media/6-19-2019/53JV3k.gif #7 MOONWALK CRAPPLE Same exact thing as #5. Leo reverses, Kalix hightails it away from him and hits him before he's given a chance to follow up. Ground strikes and kneeling strike reversals are STILL REVERSALS. They are not exempt from crappling. http://i.makeagif.com/media/6-19-2019/dNakEe.gif #8 NO RESET AFTER PIN Here's a question that was asked in Discord - "Do you have to reset after every pin or submission?" The answer is yes. You reset after pins and submissions. Here Leo looks like he's ready to reset, then just runs up and punts Kalix in the gut. http://i.makeagif.com/media/6-19-2019/v6Mxik.gif #9 NO RESET AFTER PIN Kalix, again, perhaps in self-defense, repays Leo by attacking him after a pin without a reset. Knowing this sack of shit game the way I do, this could have been a glitch, as sometimes with seated/kneeling opponents, trying to pick them up (flicking up on RS) will make you do a move instead. Take this one with a grain of salt, but rules are rules. I'm putting it on here. http://i.makeagif.com/media/6-19-2019/jOK8v9.gif #10 ATTEMPTED MOONWALK CRAPPLE We've already made it painfully obvious Leo has not practiced enough to be here. I've also made it clear we have done a poor job preparing him for the TV. Here, he gets reversed and backs up to try and do what he's been doing all match - Crapple. This time, he doesn't get far enough away and Kalix is still able to get him, but this is STILL A CRAPPLE. If you get reversed, try to reverse, not circumvent the rules. Kalix Eastbrook wins in an 18 minute WWE 2K19 Online Quick-Play match. He was forced to defend himself using similar means. I know this because I know Spider isn't going to do this under normal circumstances. We'll get to "protecting yourself" later. Shit match. Minus Five Stars. Let me reiterate one more time - this should not be seen as a Leo Grimm shit fest. This is not his fault. I want nothing more right now than to go to him and ask to DM and help so he can get to the TV Stage and contribute to OCW. Last thing on this match - LEO, you have an entire moveset comprised of OCW finishing moves. Please review our SIG AND FIN SHEET (PM me on Discord if you need it) and fish out the moves you have as regulars. Over the course of this match, I saw Joopiter's sig Valkyrie's fin Shepard's fin Wrex's fin and more. Please let me know if you need anything. ® Odon Klein vs The Man Called Joopiter Total hard FPR Breaks: 2.5 http://i.makeagif.com/media/6-20-2019/aPg9gp.gif #1 ATTACKING AFTER GROUND MOVE Odon dodges the aerial attack, leading to Joopiter taking damage. Odon does a ground move to Joopiter, lifts him back up and hits him on his knees. This is 3 knockdowns. Let me explain. 1. Joop miss. (any knockdown that requires you to pick your opponent up is a knockdown) 2. Ground moev (instant reset after) 3. Kneeling attack. http://i.makeagif.com/media/6-20-2019/7M9ocp.gif #1.5 ATTEMPTED CRAPPLE* I'm going to put an asterisk on this, because it takes place after Joopiter whiffs. If you watch, I try to grab him RIGHT after the reversal, because this game is shit, my animation doesn't work well with how much space we have after that particular animation. Some people here, would still allow an opportunity to follow up, although others would say "whiff = fair game". Personally, I don't. I did not forfeit advantage by moving away or not following up. I tried, and the game fucked me. He tried to hit me anyway, which is not a big deal honestly. I give it half a point. Feel free to ignore it if you want. http://i.makeagif.com/media/6-20-2019/efabkH.gif #2.5 MOONWALK CRAPPLE Once again cursed by the shit animation given to Joopiter by WWE 2K, instead of allowing a chance for follow up, Klein moonwalks the spinkick and immediately follows up with an elbow, which means this match goes from Joopiter having him red with a 1 rev advantage to even revs and both men red. I also feel the need to point out Dane's bullshit response in this thread that he "realized it right away and reset". Well, you definitely didn't realize it right away, I had to tell you in PMs and you first didn't know you did it, then your response was that the game "made you walk away" instead of just accepting it and moving on. I understand you are coming from familiarity of adjusted rules, so I don't mind the crapple, because I agree, I still could have won despite it... but what annoys me is you lying in a thread trying to save your ass. Bad look for you. That being said, I'm still here to clarify anything for you. This post is to help everyone through negative reinforcement, not get anyone banned. Let's keep improving as communicators and FPR-followers for the betterment of OCW. All in all, not the worst match of all time, but stuff to clean up. Understandable from a rookie. ® El Parca vs Telos Total hard FPR Breaks: 1 Prince/Parca, do better on your entrance. You have a kickass theme and a damn good CAW. There's no reason I should be looking at the WWE RAW logo through your entire ent. This isn't even something you need to record yourself, just fix your CAW online and we got you. Only 1 FPR break in this match, but MAN was it huge. This match is the PRIME example of how one perfectly timed crapple can switch EVERYTHING. http://i.makeagif.com/media/6-20-2019/z4DbzR.gif #1 CRAPPLE As soon as he gets countered, Parca starts mashing strike to save himself from his doom, hitting Telos first. Blatant Crapple. It happens in the heat of the moment, especially for rookies... Here's why this matters. If you can't see from my shiity GIF quality, Telos has 1 reversal to Parca's 3 after this reversal, if Telos is allowed to follow up, it'd just be a 1 rev adv for Parca... not insurmountable. After the crapple, Parca has a fucking 3 reversal advantage. He's got Telos in the corner dead to rights, and Telos can either use his last rev to try and hit something, or face a full 3.5 minutes of getting his ass kicked. In this case, he opts for the latter, which is huge for Parca. In the end, it doesn't end up mattering. Telos' superior experience and spacing gets him the W. I have to mention this before we get to the next match - Parca, you run so much. We've talked about this before and to watch it, but early in the match you couldn't figure out Telos spacing so you just opted to rush him over and over. This wasn't an issue because you're still learning to reverse moves, but I'm telling you, once you figure out the timing, if you keep rushing, it's a touch and go way to play. Keep an eye on this as you continue to develop. Love your CAW and moveset in general though. ® Elliot Parker vs AC Cobra Total hard FPR Breaks: 2.5 God damn speaking of running, this match was run run run run run. I understand you're quick fast guys, but man.. Every reset it seemed like there was a rush! It's just my stupid opinion though, this is not an FPR deal. Just notes I made whilst watching. Let's get to the FPR shit. http://i.makeagif.com/media/6-20-2019/dXBNos.gif #1 ATTACK AFTER GROUND STRIKE In the grand scheme? This is minimal. Yeah, Cobra knows what he's doing. This won't be consistent, but it's necessary to mention. Good thing to do here... If you accidentally do a ground strike... just keep ground striking! You get 3 weak strikes! Don't break FPR and say "whoops". Just go with the flow. http://i.makeagif.com/media/6-20-2019/SczAqx.gif #2 RUSHING CRAPPLE Another case of people not understanding that GROUND STRIKE REVERSALS ARE STILL REVERSALS. Here, Cobra tries to hit Parker in the kneeling position and Parker reverses... Instead of giving Parker a chance to reverse, Cobra just rushes him and dropkicks him. I mean, these two spent all match rushing each other, but this one actually broke FPR. Give people a shot to counter. http://i.makeagif.com/media/6-20-2019/RNeNJw.gif #2.5 CRAPPLE* This one is similar to the one from Joop vs Odon. Parker tries to counter right away but game BS lets Cobra be out of range. Cobra just potatoes him. I won't fully fault Cobra for this because Parker whiffed, so half a point. Tre Golden vs Harvey Ocean Total hard FPR Breaks: 1* First and foremost, this was a good match. Best on the card BY FAR. Thank you to both of you for giving me something not shit to watch this RIOT. That being said, I've counted the other "meh" ones so it's only fair. http://i.makeagif.com/media/6-20-2019/C44IbE.gif #.5 MOONWALK CRAPPLE* Tre walks out of range and then hits H2O, despite getting reversed. To his credit, he did stand still for a bit and expect to get hit. H2O walking away probably made him assume they were resetting. I almost want to throw this out, but I have to be fair to the other half-point ones I did. http://i.makeagif.com/media/6-20-2019/HeOaSi.gif #1 PARKERING* For those that don't know - Parkering is drilling someone RIGHT when they get in or out of the ring, giving no space. H2O does this right away on Tre, not giving him space. I give this half a point because H2O was still woozy at the time and Tre had a chance to follow up despite this as it was the first knockdown. Formalities. Thank you guys for not only putting on a decent match at RIOT, but also to both of you for improving FPR issues when they were called out instead of being a big man and ignoring the rules because you don't give 2 fucks about OCW... Speaking of which, lets' move on to our "Main Event". KD vs Doc Green Total hard FPR Breaks: 4 While I was typing this, the biggest sissy in OCW himself chose to respond exactly as he was expected to to this thread, so I'll save my comments til the end of this. http://i.makeagif.com/media/6-20-2019/uONeeR.gif #1 CRAPPLE Shocking development! KD decides to mash the strike button after getting reversed, stealing Doc's reversal. This has been a theme with KD, because he plays OCW matches like he's playing WWE 2K online, he knows his punches are fast and will interrupt most things, so he just mashes X when he gets rev'd. http://i.makeagif.com/media/6-20-2019/D5rVT5.gif #2 2 KNOCKDOWNS + GROUND ATTACK After the leg-caught chokeslam, KD tosses Doc into the corner, doing his 2nd knockdown, and just decides to do another move for the hell of it. http://i.makeagif.com/media/6-20-2019/_PD0NW.gif #3 CRAPPLE Same old story, KD gets rev'd, mashes strike button to make sure opponent can't follow up. http://i.makeagif.com/media/6-20-2019/oSFTah.gif #4 ATTEMPTED CRAPPLE As I mentioned, trying to crapple is the same thing as crappling. You can see in the gif that he gets rev'd and his CAW rears back to do those stupid punches again, but luckily Doc gets to him and doesn't allow it to happen. This is more the fault of the animation making KD sell than anything else. That's it. 23 FPR breaks on 1 episode of RIOT. ---- I love OCW and seeing this shit sucks, honestly. If you wanna sit there and say "wow what kind of loser would do all this", that's fine, but I put too much time into this "hobby" to just yawn while a show I look forward to every week get fucking butchered because people don't want to follow rules, intentional or not. Oh, and KD, cut that "I have a life" bullshit, because just so you know, the world doesn't revolve around you. You ain't shit. Every single person in this fed has shit they have to do... Work, wives, kids, jobs, lives, college, military, etc. All walks of life, you sissy. Only difference between you and the rest of us is that YOU use your RL obligations as a crutch to blatantly disregard the rules and pay no attention to the fed and it's rules. If you have so much shit going on that you can't be bothered to follow basic FPR rules, then take a hiatus. OCW will understand. People do it. Legends before you have left OCW temporarily to handle business and people after you will do it to. This entire season for you has been a huge slap in the face to JCS, who puts a FUCK ton of time into this for you and the rest of us, and you can't read a handbook or take criticism when it's given to you? Your childish ass response is the reason people like me, Rust Cohle, Valkyrie, and the rest of the newer people who have had the displeasure to be booked against you this season can't be bothered to call you out when you take a giant shit in your matches, because we know how you're going to react. Simply put, whether you think we're all a bunch of sissies who take this too seriously or not... If you don't give a fuck about OCW, then don't compete, because you ain't shit. Not even sure if you'll read this, since I know damn well you don't read the shows, but /SHRUUUUUG OCW over everything. -- Nothing has changed over here. OCW numba one. If you have an issue with me or anything I said here, feel free to PM me. If I missed something, go ahead let me know. If you have any questions about anything, please ask. Finally, this post was to help OCW because it's the big leagues. Jay has dedicated his last 15 years to making this what it is. Let's at least allow him to watch a show and enjoy the storylines and shit without needing to fan the flames about FOLLOWING THE RULES IN THE DISCORD. I love you all. Peace.

Nobody can do that except you and the two mods. It must have been an accident when you posted it.

Since we're enjoying the deep exhale that is post-lution, I guess I'll get my piece in too. Sorry if I get a scoff at such a comment about a fake fake wrestling community, but fuggit. Big shout out to those that inspire me in kayfabe and out and have created such an obscenely entertaining medium for me to interact and exist in. I consider it a great honor to even be considered for Wrestlution, much less the main card or being allowed to call every single one of these 14 matches we put on this year. I've not been here as long as - well, most of you, but I want it to be clear how much I appreciate the direct and indirect inspiration for OCW content I've gotten from guys like Pugh, B17, H2O, Bobby Minio, Kassidy Hayes, Tiberius Dupree, Nate, and others. More importantly, I think, thank you to Terrence, Pierre, Dan, Kent, Doc, Bobby, Kass, Theo, Jamie, Adam, Ed, Milan, Gerry and pretty much all of you one way or another for providing my stupid ass with such a wonderful outlet and opportunity to keep myself busy and creative over the last year and a half. When I'm not working on something or contributing, I can tend to get lost in my thoughts, which is not something I enjoy. These stupid videos/shows/PPVs/conversations are sometimes the highlights of my days/weeks at times. Getting to commentate, it might be hokey and stupid, but man it's real. When I said I had goosebumps when I heard "The Fire's" theme, I wasn't kidding. I don't like when people put their shit out there, because it can come off like it's more important than other people's shit, which it's not. I'm no more special than anyone else in the world so I won't get into it, but thank you to everyone from the depths of my cold, black heart. I left him out of the name-drop up top because he deserves his own section, but most importantly, without fail, thank you to the man himself #1, Jaysin Sensation. Without you, none of this shit would exist and you don't get enough credit for this empire of beautiful dogshit you've created. You may not see it all the time, but I know I'm not alone when I express my gratitude. I'm looking forward to many more stupid commentated matches in the future. Sappy shit over. Two Lutions down, many many more to go. Here's to an incredible Summer, you fuckbrains! THIS SEASON'S NOT OVER Don't forget kids: Don't break the golden rule 10% what happens to you, 90% how you react OCW > If you don't support OCW, then fuckk you !cult This has been a battle! http://media.giphy.com/media/yCAoGdVUCW5LW/giphy.gif

Taking Place Immediately Following Wrestlution XIII Sounds of crowd cheers take over the scene... A black screen covers the view, but we can tell something big has happened in OCW. Voice: ...I guess you think you're big shit now? The view flickers on to see Inness Quartz inside the Mind of Quartz. He knows he's there, his face more anxious than you'd expect after winning the OCW Undisputed Tag Team Championships. As the view zooms out, you can see the typical fixings of the Mind of Quartz... Total black with flashes of light in the background. Inness Quartz stands in the purgatory, staring at something just out of view. His gaze attracts the attention of the view, which shows an angered Ijitu Quartz. He appears as we last saw him, in street clothes and messy mid-length hair. Ijitu: You did it. Go ahead, gloat. Inness: Ijitu... I'm so happy to see you. Ijitu scowls and clenches his jaw. He stands up and the chair he was sitting on vanishes. Ijitu: Well I'm not happy to see you. Couldn't help to butt in where you weren't wanted, huh? Inness' expression does not budge. He is legitimately happy to see Ijitu back inside the Mind after he disappeared before Road 2 Glory. Inness: I thought you... Ijitu: Thought what? Thought I broke? Thought I didn't have what it took to hang around in this dark abyss? Pathetic. Inness: You understand why I had to take control. Ijitu: Hah! That's where you're wrong, Inness. You didn't take control. I gave up. I quit on the body because it wasn't good enough. I lost time and time again. I... I lost... because of this pathetic excuse for a body that you said you made better! Inness: Ijitu... You and I both know it's not all about the body. This body has been through so much. Our collective mind carries the vessel. ... Inness: It's our job to continue to bring strength and pride to his vessel. You know-- Ijitu: Don't you tell me what I know, bub'! Ijitu, with tears in his eyes, points at Inness, then back to himself reverently. Ijitu: That... That was supposed to be me. He looks down at the Undisputed Tag Team Championship, hoisted over Inness Quartz' shoulder. Inness: ... It could have been ours. Ijitu slouches down backwards. He lands on a sofa that manifests itself from thin air. Ijitu: I just don't understand... It's never me. Why can't I do it, Inness? Why can't I make him proud? Why can't I represent Isaiah? Inness: ... Ijitu: You see? You don't have an answer either... I just... I just don't understand. Inness is frozen in place, looking down at his blue counterpart holding his head in his hands. Innes: You have had an indescribable impact on this... place, Ijitu. Inness: When I travel, people... They still call me "Ijitu". They recognize CQC as "Ijitu Quartz and Rust Cohle". That's because of you. Inness: I'm the one that's in control now... Holding this championship. But it couldn't have happened without you. Do you understand that? Inness, trying to level with his counterpart inside the Mind of Quartz... Reaches down to Ijitu, still broken up about the entire situation. Ijitu: No... Ijitu: There are only two things that make sense here, gah' dammit. Ijitu: Either... I'm completely useless... or you stole my moment from under my feet. Inness' eyes widen and begin to also tear up as his attempts to reach Ijitu seem to have been in vein. Ijitu: From the very beginning... 18 years of this. You've always been the same condescending do-gooder that has to prove me wrong... Inness: No... Iji-- Ijitu: ENOUGH! Hahahahah! Still tears falling down his face, Ijitu leaps from the sofa, which fades away into the mind, standing face to face with Inness. Ijitu: You know? If I could hurt you... I would. I want nothing more than to break you. I am not the bad guy, despite how much you want me to be. Inness: Please-- Once again interrupted, Inness flinches as Ijitu swings at him... His hand going straight through his face with no impact. Ijitu looks back down at the championship belt and scowls. Ijitu: ...I hate you, Inness... You don't deserve this... Ijitu walks off into the black purgatory, disappearing eventually... Another voice pops up, as tears continue to run down Inness' cheeks. Intell: Congratulations. You did it. Inness: ... Intell: Are you not pleased? You've proven yourself right. You've done what you sought to do from the start. Inness does not respond, instead wiping his tears away and closing his eyes tight... As he opens them, they are bloodshot... But he is back in the locker room. In the real world. Still in control. Still the OCW Undisputed Tag Team Champion.

Nice big promo to open the show, I liked how it got several other people involved. I've always said these little tie ins keep the universe as one instead of treating us like we exist in bubbles with our feud partners. These got damn Spider promos throughout the show were fantastic. Was imagining young ambition people. As an OCW legend mark, good stuff. Did not enjoy the Saturn/Wagner match, but Billy is new. He'll get there. Tyson's new look fits the Cyborg bill and it also explained in RP. Goodjahb. Antonio letting the pressure of recent weeks get to him with some outright heelish behavior towards AC Cobra. What a prick. AC was very good in this show, the buildup has been very good and I cannot wait to see this one. B17 showing motivs for his recent despicable behavior. I wonder how long this bubbled inside face-B17 before he released it. Parca and Cort with a solid battle, nothing to write home about. The first spot into the Cort-plex was dope, but Parca kicked out. Cort landed it again putting the rookie down for good. Momentum into Lution! If every RP was P3 I wouldn't complain. Parca so wholesome backstage in defeat. This whole Lee/Wrex feud is more than heel/face. These two aren't aligned in any camp other than the "Fuck that other guy" camp. I don't know who I want to cheer for, but I know I want to watch someone get the shit kicked out of them. LOOONG tag match between Golden COBA and Sheplos. I noticed a lot of moments where they should have tagged or moved where they just didn't. No real attempts to end the match til very late... except for Tre, who tried to hit Shep with a finisher on yellow, lol. Wish I could have seen a bit more from Telos, his inexperience in tag matches showed as he refused to tag out in crucial moments several times. Excited for Golden Cobra more in the future. God damn big people always near the ropes ruins Sheps fin, and he gets caught in a non-early finisher for the 1 2 3. Bobby cutting a fantastic promo. As Jay said above - Wrestling 101 WCW Brawl! Cort and Shep won't stop til someone is ded. More mystery man stuff, whatever document this person has is apparently official? No idea who this is, but I guess we'll find out at Lution Blacksmith, edit out that first part of your clip that shows the "Create a video" menu. It keeps popping up. KD and Tyson cement themselves as a tag team, not breaking up as it seems the "faction war" of early season 14 is over. Bobby Man-E-Oh dispatching Spider, further proving that he is no fluke on the sticks headed into his title defense. Thinking about it more thoroughly, Antonio has always been the more unhinged one between the two, lashing out more readily than Doc. Maybe this is a characteristic and could explain why Doc is more level headed in RPs and confrontations. Antonio showing more signs of carelessness here as well, whereas Doc further cements himself as the true babyface. I dunno man, with Antonio's outward aggression, choice of words, interrupting a HOF babyface induction to take his title in street clothes, insulting veterans and letting his ego get the better of him... This has been a very interesting arc for Antonio and Doc... With both firmly in the singles realm now. There could be something big on the horizon. DRAGO GONNA DANCE IN TWO MATCHES. DOUBLE DUTY DRAGO. ITS ALMOST TIME FOR DDD. This felt 100% like a shoot promo. I was taken aback by much of what was said and it's kind of a period at the end of the recent Valkyrie sentence... Not an exclamation point, but a period, or maybe an ellipses, because there is more to come here. At any rate, from both women, very shoot-style, work-shoot vibes for me personally here. Kinda bummed me out to see Valkyrie in such a state. Could be a dark day for OCW come Wrestlution 13. The cap to what we knew was coming but so happy to watch play out. The reasons given here is perfection when you consider all 3 of these legends. Pugh's determination, Tibby's insecurity, and Nate's GOAT status. It all comes full circle in one week. DREAM MATCH x10. There will be no talking during these entrances. Goosebumps already. LUTION

531 gave me goosebumps like no show between CG and R2G did. As a straight up professional wrestling show. This was quality all around, in my opinion. This is a long one, but discussion is well deserved! Doc Green victory lap - This shit starts with the two world champions throwing down a hell of a gauntlet. Are the fucking titles about to be UNIFIED AT LUTION!? Parca looking for Tayy before his match - El Parca can't find Tayy, and that's because he headed home. As a last minute swap, The Man Called Joopiter and El Parca put on an incredible match. Intense as hell in the ring. Looking forward to more development and possibly feuds with Parca MATCH: Rookie Debut Billy Saturn vs AISU - Billy Saturn doesn't RP on this show, but he displays... things in the ring. A lot bad, but also a lot good. FPR stuff will be fixed, a little more raw than you'd hope for a rookie, but it will be fixed, Billy has enough drive to make sure of it. Pros - I like his theme, his attire, and his creative moveset. Ashley Moore and Empress tie the knot - I popped heavy at the RP and at the thumbnail of the video, I thought Valkyrie had another trick up her sleeve! Yet another mockery from Empress leading to a sweet moment and finally a cementing of the team after so long. Who plans to take down the women that killed Valkyrie? Bobby prepares for promo - Bobby gets my hyped up for a tongue lashing, which only he can dish out... This would lead to great heel heat (but also fuck you Maxwale) later in the show. Danny Watts lays out challenge to JT - Danny Watts, creative way coming off a huge opportunity at the PPV. The arrogance and motives he has would make you think heel, but the way he frames it is very much confidence over arrogance. Will JT respond? Telos kicks the shit talk into high-gear with Tre - I fucking love that a fire has been lit under Telos. Moving strong now, back to how he was in his feud with Tyson last Summer! P3 BONANZA w/Empress - By FAR one of the best P3s of the season (although I feel like I say that every week). So much great comedic timing and taking elements from IC and OOC. Mugen and Drago will never cease to make me giggle like an idiot at 12:30am El Parca post-match nice guy promo - Wholesome El Parca is wholesome MATCH: Telos vs Elliot Parker - Telos with some absolute dominance against Elliot Parker. I'm still waiting on Elliot's theme/new ent to... grow on me. I just haven't got a great read on his character yet. Hopefully more development and backstory from him later. Telos caps it off with the Sidewinder, one of my favorite fins in OCW. JT Responds to the throw down from Danny Watts - JT with a creative segment (making OCW some of that sponsorship money from SONY), simple, easy to understand and here you have great back and forth that will make me CARE about the match on Turmoil this Friday! Will the excited underdog turn up and win this thing? LET'S GO! Telos continues his recent dominance - More Telos goodness. Really locking in his intentions. He's racked up some pretty good wins over the last few weeks. Valkyrie heads home, too - An expected Jake sits almost sad, watching Valkyrie return to Finland and harshly dismiss OCW and America. I was expecting a swerve after she shockingly lost at the PPV... but I kinda dig the "anything can happen" aspect of this. What's next? MAXWALE ambushes Bobby - Fuck you Maxwale. Some classic heat here, locking in Minio for an extended time on the ramp. He's right, it's 1-1. I actually didn't hate the match at R2G, so it should be a blast. With so many exciting mid-carders vying for Bobby's title and Bobby's incredible sticks improvement holding it tighter than I thought he would, it's an exciting time to be in the Pride race. Uncrowned find cheeto-laced Cobra playing MK - Classic comedic promo from Cobra + UC... Does this mean OCW's gamer is coming for Antonio's LHW title? He was the first to answer Drago's challenge this season, but now it's in rookie hands. MATCH: Queen Mab vs Dragana - Dan was right, this was a clinic. The most competitive match of the night, without being draining. I honestly expected this to be a quick squash, putting Dragana's rehab with Terra back on track, but it was fast paced, never felt like it dragged on too, long. Somehow making me care about a match with enhancement ass Queen Mab in it. Go Dragana! She's back! #ShowLove TTT conspires against P3 - The remnants of the once powerful TTT... still have 2 Legends ready to finally get revenge on the """"ass breaker"""" Drago Cesar and Mugen. Such a powerful match on the way. Blacksmith calls out Kassidy fucking Hayes - WHAT THE FUCK TLBS!? I gotta say, of all the names I was expecting to see here, Kass was not one of them. Recently semi-retiring, I have NO clue how he's going to respond to this. I was very shocked to see this. I wouldn't be surprised for fasha to shrug his shoulders at this rookie though. Mystery man still up to no-good (or is he?) - I'm not quite sure who or what this mystery person is that's been popping up. Now he's got some kinda document, are we about to see some old legend buy OCW or something? H2O TNA: Crosses The Line, b - STUPID H2O! Certainly getting Drago's attention, holy fuck. Multiple chair shots and a powerbomb off that truck. That is attempted murder. I can't lie, I didn't take Harvey seriously when he was coming after Drago before. It got a little more srs at that autograph signing, but this is insanity. Cort and Shep II: Electric Boogaloo - So glad Cort and Shep are back at it. I missed Shep after he lost that triple threat at Clash. I kinda expected a "wrestler" return for him, maybe a face turn, then he shows up, pisses on Mr. Marshall's grave and gets inserted in a sure-to-be-fucking-insane FI match. Our last FI winner was a flake and a disappointment. So far, the two entrants we know are top notch. Who else we got? MATCH: KD vs Spider - Still struggling from his broken ass, Spider is unable to fight through long enough to get the upper hand on KD. I haven't seen that F5 often this season, but got damn does big KD make it look brutal. Clark Effect: Capo gets real - A bit of a swerve from the usual Capo segment, he gets more serious and a bit delusional. Very nice piece of work from Capo, able to maintain his current character while also driving into his motives and showing that he's more than a funny man. This is an important part in the very long Jehst-Capo saga, with Capo now establishing himself as an emotional equal to Jehst, something very much needed in an emotional feud. MAIN EVENT: Shep vs Antonio, non-title - The main event rocked me off of my fucking feet, man. Recently, Antonio Everrett has wins over KD, Drago Cesar, and fucking TIBERIUS DUPREE. He's always been great at the game, but recently has been tearing the house down. I saw the time on this one and expected him to make quick work of Christian Shepard... Then I watched and was legitimately blown away by what essentially amounted to a squash match for Shep. This puts Shep back on the competitive MAP for me, which is perfect for him headed to Lution as well as establishing himself once again in the upper mid-card, a place he really held well when he was the Pride champion. FAME FINALE - What can be said about the final promo? We all know what's coming. Back when I first joined, I used to get CHILLS reading some stuff and following along with the OCW shows. I kinda lost it a bit between CG and R2G, I couldn't really tell you why, but I will be the first to say... I haven't been this giddy about a show in a long time. Was on the edge of my seat for a lot of it. The matches were an entertaining break between the storylines being established and moved forward, but to be honest, the stories themselves were the highlight of the show. None more than the showdown at the end with FAME. Nate finally speaking out more after the buildup of silence and headshaking he's given us since he returned as an on-screen presence. I can't tell you how highly I value these 3 in OCW lore, and even though I never really saw Nate's hayday live, the aura he exudes in this promo is almost deity-like. I think we have ourselves a 3 way dance, a little under 30 days away at the greatest show. 5-star RIOT with no 5-star matches, so let's call it 4.5/5 MOTN: None of the matches really had any heat or storyline build, but many of them were VERY entertaining to watch and other than the rookie debut, there weren't many FPR issues that I saw/remember. I had a blast with El Parca in our match that came down to the fucking wire. I hope it was fun to watch. That being said, the cleanest, most entertaining was MAB vs Dragana. Nice work. RPOTN: C'mon. Finale with FAME, next question.

Yes. I could not agree more on the general sentiment here. Hearing RPs dismissed as "words, bruh" RPs and just generic comments with little to no understanding of the backstory or product is frustrating. I do not mean to imply Doc or Wrex don't read the shows, just that some people can be outright dismissive of certain things. This isn't to say that's all that happened here in this pod (or any others). They did point out some continuity and understanding of certain things, but there were times where stuff was outright skipped because "words". Outside of that happening with some people, and I have had this discussion with and about Bobby specifically... PLEASE don't think that this is fed-wide. I don't want the general consensus from guys like you and Bobby to be one of disrespect because there are people in the fed that love to read the "words bruh" promos, me being one of them. Not all of them, if they're shite of course, but I would not classify a Bobby Minio promo that way. I don't want to make this a "OCW has changed" mentality, even though there are some people who don't care to read the show or hate on the words. I can assure you plenty of people do. So two-fold, please don't start buttering down the awesome stories and little things in your RPs because there are a bunch of us who do see enjoy that.

Sometime after Riot 530... The sound of crickets chirping into the moonlight accompanies the view of a mostly empty US 1 highway. Single cars drive by, one after another. The street lights come into focus, small bugs flickering about. Another car, with a slightly louder engine, can be heard driving down the street. The camera focuses on this car, a black Honda Clarity, small droplets of sprinkling rain floating off of the windows and shiny exterior. The tinted windows hide the identity of driver as the view moves to the front of the moving vehicle. Back to the outside of the car, it drives quickly by a sign... Welcome to Providence Voiceover: Finally back home! After a few passing moments, the scene fades into a Providence suburb and the Honda Clarity pulls into a driveway. At this point, the sky has turned a new-morning pink. The sun just barely illuminating the night sky. As the door opens, the driver steps out... Grabs a large backpack out of the car and walks up the small stairs to the front door of the home. The clinging of his keys unlock the front door and standing in the doorway is an older woman with a big smile on her face. Woman: Taylor! The camera zooms out to see the young man from behind. He removes his hat and holds it in his right hand. Young Man: I'm back home, momma. As the young man wraps his mother up in a big hug, the text on the front of his hat is clearly shown. I GOT HEART The camera fades to black after panning up into the pink morning sky, birds chirping off in the distance.

We've been missing out on that young discussion. CMON YOU FUCKS, WE'VE LESS THAN 6 WEEKS TO LUTION - Pre-match promo from Salami Kane, love the recent activity from the now outed Nick, also don't hate the choice of dancing partner. Jehst's recent promos have been with only 3 people and have been a bit disconnected from the OCW universe, so it's good to see nice short and sweet promos like this get everyone back in the same playing field. - Empress and Ashley impressing as usual. Ashley getting back to less manipulative things and almost comes off like a face here, a preppy face, but you can kinda feel the hate for Valk is just for Valk. Empress on the other hand, is a foul mouthed heathen. Haven't seen much character-specific development yet, but this story is fun anyway, so that can come later. - Salami Kane continues knocking down his peers, this time running through JT. JT actually put up a solid fight, I thought he might sneak it out, but not quite. These two both involved in the upcoming battle royal, so great job to book them and get a little showcase here. - TY Sparks promo is short, sweet, establishes his goals, links to his upcoming PPV match. Classic, descriptive, easy to read stuff here. - Ashley and Empress... Together acting like faces?! Empress apologizing like a human!? - popped hard at Valkyries use of "cartoons" instead of anime. I liked the descriptiveness of the scene here. Put me in the room without over-doing it. Valk seems all-too okay with losing... Not the Valk I know! - It doesn't surprise me in the least that Justin Jehst knows all the Turmoil staffers name's. Enjoyable and adds a part to Jehst's character as a face. - Not sure why this came out sans Morrison Method. I did not submit it that way. Oh well, no biggie. Have to say, Empress and Ashley are very efficient and easy to work with. Empress once again being a bitch. Maybe she's grown attached to Ashley and is just mean to everyone else? I'd ship it. - This match was a whole hell of a lot of fun. I'd be happy to work with any of these 3 again. The tag moves and a very clean match in my opinion. - The Danny Watts promo. Very interesting. I have to say, initially I was questioning the dialogue here, but I think I got it after re-reading it once. His speech patterns are very unique and I don't think it's awkward writing, I believe it's a design choice for the character. Not Jittery per se, but kinda vintage early Golddust in the way that he affirms his own statements. I dig it. - Bray and Mark Reese was not the shit show I expected. See Aries post on page one for details. - Good exposure for the Experience. I see the writing skills of Sparks and Asher is improving, which is an overall improvement on the reading experience. I still hate the past tense stuff, but it's fine. Following up on things instead of having one-offs is good too. Kinda interested in who is knocking out rookies backstage. - Another one-off from Benji. Interesting content none-the-less. Hopefully we'll see more from him other than when he's booked now that he's in contention for the International title. Continuing to bring the twins is a fun wrinkle to his gimmick as well. - More strange ominous promos from this weird tycoon that overlooks Turmoil. I guess he has another spy with this woman on the voicemail? - Benji vs TJ Stephens ahead of his match for the title. This one ran a bit longer than I expected, but actually didn't hate it. Still bummed to see Benji choosing to keep fists as a "get out of major" free card when everyone else has since dumped yellow paybacks. It's not technically illegal til R2G though, so /shrug. - Holy shit. Shep is pissing on Cort's fathers grave. That ratched up like 40 notches from Shep being absent the last few weeks. God damn I knew I missed this feud but I didn't realize what a Big Boss Man Shep was going to be! - 22 minutes of no-selling fins later and we have a competitive but exhausting match. There was admittedly a lot on the line, so I get it. A lot of fin reversals too! How is the despondent Code gonna bounce back from this one? - Ohhh snap. The Scum of the show come out in a big way. Mistico playing threatening, yet lesser to Wrex as I imagine he walks out like the final boss or some shit. B17 has really done a great job showing us his more serious side over the last few months. - Nice subtle reference to Terra at the start of this Dragana RP, not even mentioning the story, but continuing to plant the seeds (see I just did it too). Unfortunate way to write off Ace... maybe? Dragana kept the box. Oh heavens me. - This was low-key a fantastic Main Event to watch. It really was a brawl with the only "grappling" moves being HIGH impact suplexes and slams. Mostly striking and very limited fucking around with spacing with these two. Palatable and fun to commentate, fun to watch. Reminded me of a Wrex/Trance match a bit with all the striking. Rust Cohle showing his strength ahead of his handicap match. Not the best Turmoil I've ever seen, but as always, being a biased mark, I enjoyed reading it. MOTN: Cohle vs Lee RPOTN: None of them really blew me out of my chair, but I was most interested in all of the changing dynamics from Ashley Moore and Empress... Who desperately need a team name. The skirt of Ashley in the tag match... Dress 2 Empress anyone? ...okay, I'm done now.

ThirstCAST Episode 3: Dark Days, Brighter Tomorrow's
Quartz replied to Mr.Sensation's topic in OCW The Magazine
Super late, but the organic style has been the most effective and enjoyable part of OCW for me since I've joined. This is the blueprint I try to teach rookies as they're coming in, while some of them are still confused by staff not handing them a feud or them not needing to plan something out from start to finish in a scripted sense, the key here is "OCW is 10% what happens to you and 90% how you react to it." Cort mentioned this a few times in various mediums, but it's one reason it's hard to be a traditional "monster" character in OCW, because if you lose, you don't really have my loss protections like they would in real wrestling. I believe this style is the most enjoyable as well for the handler, even if you're very good at the game, because it makes your life so much easier and you still get surprised yourself in the moment. All you have to do to succeed in this frame is put out just a small amount of effort. RP on your show and build your character every week and things will come naturally. -
Turmoil even gets disrespected in it's own discussion thread!
