I liked the idea of trying to get into Quartz' head, but the theme thing wasn't quite ideal, as that is Ijitu Quartz' theme and the reference you were making was to Inness Quartz losing the title to Kass. They do not have the same theme. I won't hold it against you for not being fully involved in my own ridiculous batshit stupid multiple personality story, though. That said, I actually liked the use of Ijitu's old theme, as it gave me a very good transition into debuting the new one. Also, you're welcome for the elevation, kiddo. Now go win a title or I'll regret giving you that much offense.

Full review may come later, who knows. Off the top - IceMan, please press down on the DPAD to switch to your finisher. This is like the 2nd or 3rd time you've had 3 fins and just sat there with a signature not ever attempting to win the match, you'd maybe get one over on these folks if you did that. Other than that, I really enjoyed this match because it had a lot of competition. I don't mind longer matches as long as they're clean and don't drag for artificial reasons. This was just competitive and fun to watch. Also, vector your shirt graphic, Iceman. I can see the black outline of the graphic on the shirt itself. Bingo, you've been here for like 7 years. It's completely wack for you to record in the S15 arena and just say fuck it and not re-record. Be better. Like Bambi, I'm not a huge fan of the big NPC guys that can never wrestle or have their own stories for Marisa. I feel she can ride on her own with other handlers in OCW. Ladder matches are hard, but end of the day, Morgan continues to trend upwards. I feel a title shot in her future. Forwarded the story between Evelyn and Marisa too. The video itself was a bit crude and not as fleshed out from a visual continuity standpoint as I'm used to from Welch. I am looking forward to Evelyn's return to in-ring action next week. Judge needs opponents. Congrats to Danny Watts. The match told a story about your back and your continued reluctance to not try and hit the clothesline "out of nowhere" was genuinely funny. Not the best show match quality wise, as I'd still rank MOTN Shep and Iceman from a fundamental standpoint, but moment of the night (sans RPS as I have not read them) is definitely Danny dethroning Mr. 361.

With a card full of possible stips, I imagine the similarities were bound to happen. I felt the Kumite proper as well as the fight pit were different enough from one another personally. Jay had similar concerns and we tried to space them out as best as possible. With the quality of the women's match, we opted to move it to 2nd on the card and allow Salami/Doc's character work to shine. The voting was a dangerous proposition in the first place, but I was blown away with how everyone performed given the task in front of them. The other side of the coin regarding the CCW and Women's match is that I believe both had reasons to be stips due to the fact those people fought previously, so I personally don't feel like I was robbed out of a great singles match that I've never seen before. With the Fight Pit, it removed the possibility of Zoe utilizing that suplex small-package finisher to win, as she had needed to use the previous two times. That story was told perfectly as because she couldn't use it, the killer in Ashley was able to take advantage and win the match. The Kumite is Wrex' wheelhouse and their longterm rivalry warranted such a physical KO like interaction. My issues with how the Kumite was played aside, I felt those two were different in story and it frame, but I'm interested to see that others felt the same way Jay did. As I mentioned, he voiced his concerns about the similarities before the show.

Hey you. If you're reading this, you will be expected to understand these additions. These will be promptly added to the handbook and are in full effect as of right now. Please make sure you're familiar with these new rules and lets have as just as good a transition as we did with the last rules patch --------------------------------------------- SUDDEN DEATH APPLIED All matches that end in pinfall or submission are now always going to be contested under SUDDEN DEATH RULES. This means that you can end the match at any time via pinfall. You do not need to hit a finisher first. Everyone knows what Sudden Death is. A couple of things: 1. Your opponent still must have one RED body part and one YELLOW body part (or just one RED body part in a multiman match) in order to execute a finishing move. 2. Sudden Death only applies to pinfalls. You still cannot submit your opponent until after an impact finisher has been hit. 3. OMG moments are subject to the same rules as submissions, you may not finish a match with an OMG moment unless a finisher has already been hit. *This is in place to keep folks from just hitting an OMG as soon as their opponent hits orange and pinning off that. GIMMICK MATCHES such as Ladder, Table, TLC, or Cage will still be subject to the same rules as before UNLESS STATED OTHERWISE BY STAFF. Enjoy, and don't be a dick. Ask staff questions if you're uncertain on anything. --------------------------------------------- CHANGES TO GROUNDED CORNER MOVES Corner-seated moves will now be considered GROUND MOVES This means that you get three weak strikes (stomps) or one strong strike/grapple when your opponent is down in the corner. Previously, this was considered still in the corner. Not anymore. If they're ever seated in the corner, they are considered GROUNDED. A simple change, so should be easy to correct. --------------------------------------------- PICKUP FINISHERS(BETA) The no-pickup fin/sig rule is going to be removed on a trial basis. You can now hit a finisher after picking someone up, giving you another option in addition to wakeups/reversals. This was a legacy rule that has outlived it's usefulness and isn't really necessary anymore. We do not anticipate this will be a huge deal, but this will keep us from having those "WTF" moments when a wrestler lifts his/her opponent up and then their opponent doesn't have to worry about being hit with a finisher. Now, you have to stay on your toes no matter the situation. We are going to monitor this, much like we did with Sudden Death in the previous patch and if it is shown to be an issue, it will be reverted back to the old rule. --------------------------------------------- Thanks, everyone.

Blackness. A silver chair slowly fades into view. The sound of a door slamming shakes the darkness as small specks of light begin to pop up. Walking in opposite the chair are two pairs of legs. The camera pans up to see Inness and Intell. Inness crosses his arms and peers over to Intell, who straightens his glasses. They both take a step forward. A force slumps down into the silver chair, breathing extremely heavily. We have once again entered the Mind of Quartz. Intell: Well? Inness: You did it your way. Panning up and around, we see the bloodshot eyes of Ijitu Quartz, the new OCW World Heavyweight Champion. He laughs in their face and throws the big gold belt over his shoulder proudly, leaning back in the chair, still breathing extremely heavily. Intell: It’s been almost 20 years since we came to be. Every single step of the way, you have told anyone who would listen that your way was the only way. Inness: Turning your back on friends, Isaiah’s family, people that cared about you… Even Rust Cohle. Ijitu continues to smirk at the other two manifestations of his mind as he tries to catch his breath to no avail. He cannot find the words, just continuing to breath in an exhausted manner. Intell: The only other person you ever truly cared about stood across from you tonight. Inness: ...And you held nothing back. You did what I couldn’t do inside the chamber. Ijitu nods his head to Inness and Intell, still breathing heavily. Inness: Representing Isaiah is what we all want. Protecting who he is and who he was. Intell: Respect, dignity, grace, honor? . Intell places his hand on his chin and shakes his head, almost confused as to what he should be feeling. Inness: ...No. Being the best. Reaching the top of that mountain before it was too late… Before the body ran out of steam. Ijitu winces as he places his hand on his knee and stands up, clearly showing the effects of the match. He takes a step forward and lets out another series of deep breaths. Intell: I think he would be proud. Inness looks to his left to Intell inquisitively for a moment before turning his attention back to Ijitu. Inness: Yeah. He would. Ijitu smirks and looks at both of the other forces that make up Quartz. He looks down at the world title over his shoulder and shakes his head before taking one long deep exhale. Ijitu: It’s… not over. Intell and Inness look slightly confused. Ijitu: I’m going to keep going… for as long as I can... The view zooms between the heads of Intell and Inness and into the determined eyes of Ijitu Quartz. Tears begin to run down the face of the blue-eyed champion... Ijitu: ...Because we’re Isaiah Quartz, gah’ dammit. Quartz smiles and lowers his head, closing his tired eyes. Suddenly, the blackness fades as the door slams shut again. Back to reality as Quartz’ head snaps up and he throws on his PRISTINE SUNGLASSES to hide his bloodshot, tear-filled eyes. In behind him walks Spider and TY Sparks. He slowly turns and holds the championship high above his head. RYU: YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAASSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!! The scene fades as Quartz collapses into a nearby locker, clutching the world title as Sparks and Matsumoto run to him to celebrate the victory,

I for one appreciate Stacy Clack's informative journalism.

Boss reviewed the videos so here's some quick hitters on the WERDS BRUH since nobody seems to care about those much these days. - Wrex's promo at the start was great. Firy as hell and a much better "im back" presence than he's had since he came back and won that safety first match. Links to previous encounters both men had and really cements himself as the savior of Turmoil. We got a Face vs Face match for CCW and a heel vs heel for OCW lol - Sometimes necessary to get all parties involved, but the first UAE promo was a bit long in the tooth. I feel as if the Maxx portion coulda been separated away. It's a little busy, but I like the interweaving of stories keeping all UAE people on the same plane of existence. - H2O continues to be a smug condescending prick and we're supposed to cheer for him? I prefer Heather, as I said in the VP. - Dylan's promo was short and sweet, stated his goal, gave us a look into how he is. A tip for you - leave out the quotation marks around your dialogue. The Morrison Method already shows you what is dialogue and what isn't, so quotation marks are redundant. I did the exact same thing when I started in OCW, so I get it :joy:. Also, if you remove them, you can then use quotation marks in the dialogue itself to quote other people or as a speaking device. - Im with Fraser on the first part of the stamina challenge thing. No fucking way am I waking up at 5:30am, you can have the win. - Locke & Key always great. I love the rivalry brewing between Archer's fuckmoney group and Colin's. Wrestling is so stupid, but I love that it can make me really get behind this storage lot buying rivalry. It'll be a long payoff I'm sure, but the eventual Colin/Archer match better be good. - Aisu is back! another short and sweet promo. State your goal, remind everyone who you are, tick tick tick - Cobra/Kass benefited a ton from cutting down the content and sticking only to dialogue portions. I loved the 2K version. Kass' OCW themed 2K screens were awesome. Makes me wanna see even more of it. - This 2nd H2O/Heather promo feels like a slight departure of character for Heather. She's always been a more serious, more badass type of character and yes, she has let her guard down with H2O before, but... idk, she's never really seemed lika "damsel in distress" that would run into a man's arms out of fear. Enjoyed the spooky TLB thing at the end of the match with FloJo though, even though I'm starting to think TLB hates women more than Jamie. - I thought FloJo's thing was gonna be another "woah is me" promo but I actually liked this one better. It was that, but it also did a much better job being a resiliant babyface instead of a crybaby. You have to toe that line. Instead of "i suck wah" its gotta be "its a rough patch, I will be as good as x y and z". Finally sinking her teeth into this feud with the House of Faith is good, too. Maybe a 1 on 3 handicap match will be good for FloJo (im just kidding gooch don't yell at me) - I don't trust Cort. I'm still pissed after he took the money. It looks like to me he's trying to make good after fucking up against Archer. The curveball being Jehst's doubt as well. As a reasonably man would, he knows Cort's history and he knows he's not someone who should be immediately trusted, so I like that he's taking more than one sign of good faith to restore his trust. This can go in so many directions headed into the go-home and chill faktor. Still tops on my list of stories so far. - Salami's continued craziness and obsession over the title is good. He'll need to channel that insanity if he wants any prayer of beating Doc again. idk how he did it , but DOC went from the shittiest heel to one of the top babys in the company. That's just good promo work. You don't need to change as a character all that much, just tilt in a direction and DOC does that super well. I can only imagine Caine's insanity will peak again at the PPV with some off-the-wall entrance and appearance lmao #BeatUpDocGreen - sorry for getting green mist on your jacket, tibby. That comes out with natural soaps, hit me up if you need any. - Pugh finally getting back on the mic this week to end the show. This firey good guy promo isn't going to play well with him or his character, but I don't really know what other direction you can go against Dominion. (hence, Quartz). They're kinda over alignments though. Its just Pugh and Nate. If this happens and that's a big IF, I'll say it'll definitely be helped if Pugh keeps winning matches. If he was losing and got his request, it wouldn't be nearly as enticing to me. I think focusing on that part is important if anyone is going to give a shit about a pugh/nate match on a future PPV. das it, eat my ass. see you for the go home

New year, new OCW!? evidently not. here you go, losers. - Rust Cohle's days as champion are numbered - Cort and Jehst. "You use it to buy drugs, or Russian videogames, or United States Senators." gold. Because I know what's coming later, Ido enjoy the subtlety in Cort's actions here. Referencing the way to spend his money and the tentativeness about facing Archer. I am also very interested in where this is headed. I like that Jehst has a real logical reaction (pissed) to what Cort does in accepting the bribe from Archer. He said what we're all feeling! Pack your shit Cort! Iceman vs Pugh was fine, would have liked to see Iceman get a win but you know how it goes. Good action, no real issues other than 1 or 2 very iffy short-resets from Pugh. Gotta get those key reversals to survive kid. Pugh still undefeated. - Don't shoot on me, Feinstien! I don't dislike the dynamic of Tyler and Derek, I am just wildly confused about their connection to this shady group led by Archer. I guess they're bad guys too? But this mini-story around Anny led me to want to cheer Derek and Tyler and boo TWC. Promo was straight and to the point. I'll wait to see where this goes from here. - Fuck you, Cort. - I'm glad we get some explanation around Tucker's look and new aesthetic. We have a similar vibe around Tucky as his pre-Solomon Caine days but with less enthusiasm and more chillness. He's at one with his inner hippie. I will miss LETS GO TUCKER but we'll see where Tucker goes from here. Power and Glory tag match was as I expected it should be. Shouts to the fucking rookies for editing out most of the lag, that stuff is annoying. Glad Walker and Derek won, then tried to enact revenge. Without their allegiance to UAE this would be straight forward, and I'm guessing they're going to be abused or cheated in some way by Archers' schemeing in the future. Also the running away part from TWC is amazing. - Parca puts over all three possible competitors in a good way. Didn't run too long and also referenced Tony and harkin'd back to their old feud in a good way. Loving Salami Caine as new LHW champ. Was expecting to see a new challenger this week but I don't hate letting it breathe and his promo really nailing the point home about beating up Doc - TY's naivety and general "shucks I'm gonna go far here!" is a little more of a departure from his old character as I'd hoped, but I do like the continued connection with B17 now that they're both faces. I want to see more than cliche one 5 word sentences from TY moving forward. Give us more of a reason to care other than who the bad guys are. I root for you hard in matches! Just need one more step up in the RP deparment. New Tucky vs Webster. Webster is unique. I know it's probably easy to shit on that look because of how basic and goofy it is but it appears like it's intentional. It's not bad on accident, at least not to me. In a CAW world filled with Aleister Black ripoffs and 60-layer CAWs, Webster fits perfect for a debut. Good competitive match. I miss the old Tucky. - LUCHA COUNTRY BANNED FROM RIOT!!! - Foul mouthed Fraser continues his bartop banter with Colby. As amazing as these guys match was, the bar segments almost hit me as trying a bit too hard. The over-the-top Fraser is cartoonish, but could grow on me, though. Happy to hear about the best of seven, but not super clear with this RP how that works. They say "lets start with our second outing tonight" but they're not on the card. Is the first one a part of the series? Who knows! Also, don't allow "fucks" and "cunts" throughout a promo and randomly censor them in other parts. One or the other. Didn't land all the way with me, but the main point is we get more great matches between them. Love that part. - Funny they're back to back, but this Joanna/Morgan RP I enjoyed much more. These fucking weirdos do a good job setting the scene and I feel I've learned a lot more in their past few encounters about who they are and what kind of characteristics to expect. their definitely weirdos and "third eye" sounds like an innuendo for butthole, but I dig it. spoiler, I dug the match much more - Okay, this Tre/Mac segment is... a mess. Please use the Morrison Method and put the names of who is talking before each line. If you line break, that's fine, just put their name first again. Example: Tre: I'm gonna beat up Jehst. Tre: I showed him what was up last week. Don't break without including that second iteration of "Tre" to show who's speaking. Also, please use colons between the name and the dialogue, or at least a dash or something. Some places you do, some you don't. This whole RP is just shaky with formatting. This RP is short but I got lost, I know they're boys but they both give me face vibes at the start then shift. I think there's a point where they forget to put Tre's name, so it looks like Mac is talking, then they say they have a sissy to toss around, but neither of them are booked so I'm just super confused at this whole interaction. Sorry guys. Morgan vs FloJo! I loved it! This is about as great a match as you can get without any heat or anything. I know it's a throwaway deal but I've grown more on Morgan's character and can appreciate the not overly involved or intrusive inclusion of Joana at ringside. Nice work. You can do small stuff without sliding in the ring or making yourself the fucking center of attention as a manager. Big win for Morgan. At this point, Flojo isnt' hurt by losses. She can only go up. Good job to both! I also really enjoyed the INT triple threat. I think the right man won in Danny as well! They had a good match at Anny with admittedly a very sloppy last few minutes, so I want them to get a second chance because Danny was competitive as hell. The match was solid and despite Mantis' AWFUL "I WAS TYPING WAHHH" excuse for the ending, it was an awesome end that saw Danny come out on top with Colin getting fooked over. All 3 looked good in their own ways. - Everrett does a great job in this RP with Parca that other heels should take note of. He's validating his actions as a heel and shows that there's a reason behind the actions without losing too much of his old character. It's evolution in a good way that shows him to be a justified heel, which are always the best kind. Naturally, by default, Parca benefits from this heel work as the face that's eyeing him down. Their revival of the history also helps this for me. The Simple Math thing with naive TY and Mugen is just hilarious. Wish we got more around the KD attacked angle than 4 seconds at the end but still worked out for me. - H2O interrupted by TLBS. I like the slight diversion thinking it'll be someone else. We talked a lot about this in the chat. I see TLB's chaos coming off a lengthy face run as respectful here. I think the crowd being behind him shows that. H2Os denial pisses him off which is slowly making him be a dickhead here about Valk and later to Kass who is trying to show him the way. Next week should be good. I love this combination on paper. Fuck you Harvey, I hope he stomps your brain into a fine mush and turns it into marinara sauce. - Jordan calling out Mantis for a FITE is good. Short and sweet, though allusions to the actual "ignoring" Mantis did of him are prevalent. Kass with some amazing video work with the AC/Kass gaming segment. All of the little references to other OCWers is great and it just looks clean and original. idk how he pulled that all off but amazing stuff nonetheless. - Solomon Caine keeps being a fucking weirdo, very mysterious! Parca and Everrett was everything I thought it was going to be when it was booked. I had a feeling we'd get Dominion involvement at some point but at least we had a winner (El Parca via DQ). This continues what should be an amazing clash in the future between LC and Dominion. The ending bit was good, showed both Parca and Ev in good light and I always get excited over some tag team wrasslin (or possible hints towards them) - This second Fraser/Colby scene is fuckin-- FOOKING chaos lmao . The dart in the bartenders cheek got a laugh outta me. My criticism of the earlier RP is washed away here as it appears they were talking about tonight's encounter at the bar. I guess it's not gonna be 7 matches, but 7 contests. Reminds me of Blaine/Dragana's fued from a few years ago and that's not awful. Good follow up here. - All you need to know about Maxx's RP is that he has a red carpet photo shoot. While Jehst has moved to full time wrestling, it appears Maxx is still starring in movies because he's a wannabe! - Flo and Ashley going back and forth, I do laugh at FloJo putting herself down and that's cool but if someone else puts her down she fires back. Short RP that establishes things as necessary heading into a probably encounter at the go-home show. - Marisa already knows how much I love this response to Terra's Insecure video. Countering "you're hiding your insecurities" with "nah bish I'm confident in how sex I am" is hilarious and perfect for Marisa's character. - Colon's continued war with UAE rages on and those BASTARDS bought the blacksmith lot out from under him. Archer has so many hands in so many jars right now and this Feinstein character is doing it all for him. - Jesus lucifer christ please do not tell me Bingo is being propositioned to join Dominion or do their bidding. Its bad enough that my other favorite babyface accepted a fucking bribe tonight. The main event was balls to the WALLS action. IT's a Safety First Match so you already knew that was going to be the case. I was rooting for TY as he did just join the most prestigious group of legends from here to Tokyo, but alas, Wrex enacted his revenge on Mugen and has EARNED his way into the match wtih Bingo. I think that's an important distinction, as he wasn't walking back into it story wise. He completed an existing story and earned the shot... It should be a fantastic match and if the Chill Faktor voters do this right, they'll put wrex in his hardcore wheelhouse! There were some ups and some downs. It certainly wasn't OCW's best work, but the show was jampacked with content so that's always a good thing. Just 3 more shows til the PPV so we should see some of these feuds kick into high gear as we draw closer. Good work everyone.

A camera fades into a man holding a yellow jacket that says “TRUE HOFER” on the back. He spins around stroking his chin with a big smile on his face. His silver tooth can be seen in his wide smile. You already know who it is. RYU: ...So! That’s the plan… What do you think? The camera pans to an angry looking Quartz. His arms are crossed and he’s already removed his PRISTINE SUNGLASSES. Quartz: Spider… This is NOT what I agreed to when I pulled you out of that stupid cube. Spider puts his hands up trying to calm down the big man. RYU: I know, I know! Hear me out, though. RYU: THIS? This will be the biggest thing of 2021. This idea, I promise you. You have my guarantee that it’s going to work out. You thought you were a star when you beat that crook Nate Ortiz… You have to trust me on this one, big guy. Just wait until OCW gets a load of… Quartz throws his hands up, stopping Spider from continuing. Quartz: Do not say it again, Spider. For Christ’s sake. Spider has his hands held out, smiling at Quartz like a snake oil salesman as the big man lets out a deep sigh. Quartz: ...Fine. Spider claps his hands together and puts his arm around Ijitu Quartz. RYU: Now then! We have just 2 weeks until we reveal our masterplan! Quartz and Ryu Matsumoto walk out of the room, the latter looking much more pleased about whatever scheme hatchery is afoot.

Riot 562 - Winter's Chill, B! (THE GO HOME SHOW)
Quartz replied to Mr.Sensation's topic in The Daily Suplex
First and foremost, the lack of discussion so far this year is disturbing. Let's get the rocks out of our asses and give OCW the time of day it deserves, you fucking fucks. These matches don't mean dick if there's no reason to watch them. Anywhooooo http://media0.giphy.com/media/PoGg4p9nOR6yO6JvHW/giphy.gif - "Is that you, CubeSmart?" pop. Great idea bringing in the money guy to buy up the lots. Thomas Archer's middle name is Theodore? What a dork. Seems like universe building for now, but these two are too good at what they do to keep this just at arms reach. I will be cheering for Cort when that eventual clash happens, but Colin looking very good in RPs as usual. Triple threat was a good time, but absolutely not the cleanest affair. A lot of whiffing and targeting tomfoolery around. The story works out imo with FloJo yet again just barely coming up short, but not taking the fall. Now grab this by the horns and do something! - Mantis continuing his misfortune with Jordan Trance. This has made for a semi-entertaining back and forth so far. Fits where it should be. Not every feud is/deserves to be main event material. Good starting point for both rookies to get some momentum, although it's gotta be said, I read all of Mantis' dialogue as if he's wearing a monocle and top hat. COBBLERS! - No idea what this Zapme app ad is for, but it got a laugh out of me. checks play store - More universe building from Archer. He's like the glue holding the kayfabe stories together and getting guys like Derek involved even without TV appearances. I am very VERY worried this may mean Derek is going to possibly play a role in Cort Marshall getting fucked out of the match... Also... 12K for surgery? What the fuck did you do to yourself?! - FloJo keeping it short and sweet. Unofficial mentor: H2O... Because making H2O your official anything is career suicide. FloJo Supremacist sounds.... dicey. I will indeed stay tuned before passing early judgement. Colby McCallum quickly raising up my rookie wrestler ranks. Hopefully his dad actually stays retired save for a cameo here or there, because he shouldn't be overshadowed. His matches at Ambition and here had some of the sickest finishes this season, as short as it's been. Fraser just seems like he's kinda there for now, but as a big meaty man to put over Colby, I'm here for it. - AC COBRA! This Kass apology tour has had some hits and miss. No, that's not a typo. The only miss was teaming with H2O. That being said, AC always delivers and gets a laugh out of me. Looks like both guys spinning their wheels outside of in-ring action but I love the continuity shown and this RP actually serves a purpose, so it works for me. imma fuck this marisa bitch up - uhh, this Derek UAE promo is posted twice. Cue the Tom Phillips "Let me take you back to what happened earlier tonight" - OH MY GOD. What a payoff, of course it's Cort Marshall on Zapme. "Totally Normal Wrestler Stuff!" would make a great shirt. Cort is hilarious. I can't really get this speaking pattern down for IceMan. It might take a few more promos, but it's different enough! I feel I repeat myself on this bit, but Cort and Jehst continuing to interact despite not directly being a part of the title scene is good for continuity, ya dig? Sets up out match later tonight, which turned out to be good, if not frustrating. - I don't think all those snacks are what El Parca was looking for when he asked for the "goods" in this Lucha Country segment. Someone call the drug dogs. Simple and plain. Gets you excited for the main event. More comradery shown. Checks the boxes. - ROOKIE RUSH IS BACK!!! Oh boy. We have a nice fresh batch of excellent rookie talent too. Who the hell does Tiberius Dupree even like? SECRETS! - Jesus *beep* Christ, Empress gives no fucks about your Clark Effect. We're diving right in! Ashley "I'm sorry, I don't understand typos" made me laugh way more than it should. I seem to have forgotten how "give-no-fucks" and vulgar Empress is. Good lord. Also mystery sticky note towards Ashley. Possibly her mystery opponent at Anni? Not as good as the Colby/Fraser match, but puts Cort over in a big way. I found myself shouting at the screen in the latter part of the match when Marshall refused to go for the kill and kept dicking around baiting his opponent. IceMan would not die, so despite a terrible first half performance, he nearly came back. FINISH THE MATCH COR- oh there we go. Go USA! - More developments between this new relationship of two rookies Joanna and Morgan Blackheart. Ends on a cliffhanger. We'll need to wait and see more about this dynam-- wait a minute. Dandelion?! This is gimmick infringement! I'm calling UAE! - My first thought at the second UAE segment was "is this another repost of the Derek one." My second thought was "No Maxx! You just stopped being an Archer stooge!" My third thought, well I can't really explain because I was too awe struck at that fucking poster. Great work. It's interesting, because these could be more long term things, but I'm kinda hoping this just doesn't turn Maxx and Derek into stooges. Especially Maxx, he's already gone through this phase. I actually liked this John Carter video. The rugged/back to old school gimmick they're running combined with their general aesthetic is just entertaining to me. Carter actually building some hype for the upcoming battle royal! Rookies are doing work son! - Dumb-onion heel work. The general full-of-shit prick heel stuff from Rust is fine, but I really feel like out of all of the members of Dominion, Rust has had the largest departure of character. Not because he's a heel now, but just... idk I can't really place it. Antonio still has the same kind of vibe to me, Danny's been a heel for a while and Nate is Nate. It might be that Rust has gone back to his way way way back days of cowardly heel instead of his CQC heel days of frustrated/vengeful heel. I'll need some more time to process it, just a thought I had typing this up. I do like how this one segment tagged all the boxes for Anniversary. Danny vs Parca, the tag team match & (ugh) the world title match. So here's the deal with Rust vs Mugen. It's Rust Cohle vs Mugen. A legend who has not wrestled in OCW in a very long time (if you don't count Purge Mugen last Lution) and a megastar in OCW brought in against one of our top guys on the roster right now. It's obviously good on paper. Here's what I don't like. All those other matches I mentioned, with KD/H2O and even Parca/Danny (which stretches back further, even)... This WORLD TITLE MATCH has literally 0 heat. We had 1 random P3 promo in the promo room, which if our structure played out in real life, was an internet/twitter exclusive promo, right? Then you're telling me this world title match is built on the back of that online exclusive and ONE LINE OF DIALOGUE ON TV on the go-home show, and yes, I'm well aware that Rust made this challenge on Turmoil a few weeks ago. H2O and Nate has been brewing since the start of the year, included an in-ring encounter which is very big and Antonio/KD's involvement is obvious. Their feud dates back to last year. I'm not gonna lie to you, I don't like this. I'll get into Shep/B17 later and explain why it's different to me, but this is just so disappointing imo. I really do understand it may have been a last minute thing thrown together, but I deserve to be upset that a matchup with the potential of Rust/Mugen had to be slapdashed together last second. You could have had a huge video segment with Mugen coming out to interrupt Rust or come save someone from a beat down or ANYTHING. You have the P3/CQC history this could have used to play up on. One line on the go-home show and a promo room/internet exclusive is just not good enough. I'm sorry. Maybe my expectations of a match like Rust vs Mugen is too high because I love both of them so much, but had to get that off my chest. Just doesn't do it for me. I'm going to chock this up to my own high bar. There are maybe 4 matches on that PPV I'm looking forward to more. Maybe we'll get a feud extension. Pugh vs Jehst was a great example of why Sudden Death matches are fucking phenomenal. I was heated when Pugh rolling Jehst up, man. Anything can happen! and because it ended the way it did, it doesn't really hurt Jehst imo... Not that losing would hurt him anyway because of his general charisma/overness. - I'm not going to lie, I read the promo with Nipsey multiple times because I thought I was missing something and I drink a lot, but I felt I wanted to because I was interested. This is the kind of vague bullshit I do too, so I wanted to read between the lines and figure this out. Well, I didn't figure it out exactly, but I'm interested to see more so that I can. - Yes! Colin also committing to his place on the card and building hype for the battle royal! Matches like these are obviously designed to be rookie showcases, but this is a part of it! You can say "oh it's just a toss in rookie match" but promos are what brings the matches to life. Now I know that the characters of John Carter and Colin Locke actually value this match, which means they will mean that much more. It's fucking wrestling, people. Not just about that though, he also brings it back to his segment and the Archer showdown, which again teases a future encounter. Checks all the boxes once again. - Ugh, Harvey. "I Am The Captain Of My Soul" is literally the dumbest fucking thing ever. Jokes (they're not jokes) aside, I do appreciate continued continuity between KD and H2O. They go back to Inception and it works perfectly with Antonio there too. This tag match is low-key very well built and I hate to say it, but I'm looking forward to it given the starpower involved and them taking such care in a non-title matchup. - Doc's entire aesthetic and general vibe do NOT scream babyface, but I've thought about this and it's very interesting. DOC's previous 12 months in OCW have been filled with shitty dealings and heel behavior. His dedication to slight and gradual attitude change based on previous events and not just going "OH YIPPEE IM A GOOD GUY WITH UPBEAT MUSIC NOW" is very cool. He's a baby with an edge. I cannot WAIT for this LHW match. Best build heading into Anny imo. Hopefully Solomon can keep it close. The MAAAAAIN EVENT. Well. This was certainly a match of two halves, wasn't it? The first half was exciting with both teams having a fun competitive match and even doing their damndest to get some TAG TEAM WRESTLING in there. The second half? Well it consisted of the Hattons' brains turning to fucking mush and not doing anything making any sense. Letting guys tag in and out looked totally silly and helped take me out of it. The match was still super competitive, but those little things, ESPECIALLY from the Hattons kept it from being great. The finisher kickouts and breakups had all the makings of a great title match, but idk. I couldn't comeback from some of the silly easily avoidable things in the 2nd half of the match. Congrats to Lucha Country, I really thought this was the one. Looking forward to see what these guys do next. - H2O #1 in CWI Magazine? cancels subscription - The final B17/Shep segment. This is a great go-home segment. It was a short-notice thing and honestly B17/Shep have NO HISTORY, so let's compare this to the Rust/Mugen and explain why this is so much better. B17 and Shep had a reveal. It had a fun, intriguing story that connected with another story. B17's car was destroyed and based on their interaction earlier in the year, B17 assumed it was KD. That gives the reader/viewer some level of intrigue, then the physical altercation combines with a great reveal when SHEP appears. Now, not every single encounter has to be a huge reveal, but this had exactly what Mugen/Rust was missing instead of "i want to fight you" "i want to fight you too" "okay see you sunday". Within this final interaction, you get a reveal as to Shep's intentions and his motives. He reveals WHY he wants to fight B17. He reveals what led him to this point. The best heels are the ones that satisfy the viewer with reasonable motivations, but shitty means of doing so. Shep has both. A. I want to be champ and I was discarded after the pride title run. B. I destroyed your car and sucker punched you. Also within this go-home interaction, B17 cuts a hell of a babyface promo. He also lays out what led him to this point and points to last season's marquee moment turning on Kass as what got him back on his feet. He references matches with Trance, Elliot Parker, Jehst etc. There's history, motivation, story etc. Then of course the added element of the "Doom Machine" mindset. Shep trying to draw out the loose cannon of B17 to get him to slip up and B17 trying to stay calm and also great, it ends with a great final physical altercation which combines every element and makes you want to watch the match! You don't NEED physical encounters and even sometimes, not having them is better, but this was done in just as much time and done much better imo. I'm absolutely looking forward to this one. Not counting the rookie BR, which will be fun for non-feud reasons, here's my heat rankings in order: 1. Doc vs Salami 2. Tornado Tag Match 3. B17/Shep 4. Parca/Watts 5T. Mugen vs Rust 5T. Ashley vs ??? (No immediate build, but could change depending on who it is/mystery element is a wildcard) Don't let this rant fool you. Rust vs Mugen is always going to be super fun. I can't wait to see what they do IN the ring. That's the one silver lining they have is that their starpower allows for them to get away with a less-than-adequate build. Anni coming up in just a few days! THOSE ARE MY THOTS. THANK YOU FUCK YOU BYE.- 12 replies

Hot diggidy damn. The season has premiered. It's time to dive into this show proper. W O R D S BRUH - bummed we missed out on Parca vs Archer, but I love that Watts is building into a match with Parca considering they are booked next week. Will be interesting. Maybe we'll get that Archer vs Parca match in the tournament! - Love Jehst and Cort's interaction. Cort's intro was perfect "-ABSOLUTELY RIGHT!" I love the continued building of the relationship and establishing them as a not-dead-team... but I gotta say, Cort has a bad track record in tag teams, I'm afraid of where this might be headed. Very entertaining tag match even if it wasn't a barnburner. The Wrestling Club coming out the way they did was great. I anticipate that we're going to be sports entertained every week by these guys, win or lose, which is a great recipe. Establishment for the Hattons - Interesting further development between H2O and Heather... Also, who the fuck would ever say this in an interview "Stacy: Heather you’re smiling. I don’t think I ever would see a smile on your face so soon after losing your child." Jesus Christ, Stace. - Classic heel shit for Marissa beating up the double D jobber from the crowd. - The REAL Main Event build throughout the show was hilarious. Quartz wasn't booked for the show because TV shows can't handle both of us on the show at once. I love how they chopped it up into multiple segments bouncing between both guys engaging in shenanigans. - H2O all over this show early, which means I hate it. I didn't expect to see this much Harvey on the screen until he was arrested for having copious amounts of child pornography. The SPA re-opens and there are a ton of names here interacting. I dig it a lot, I've always stanned for segments that connect the entire fed and don't keep everything in a tiny bubble. - Summons to appear next week is legitimately hilarious to me. VP shit on the intergender match, but I thought it was fine, they have built this a bit in promo room stuff. Evelyn fit right in and looks good in victory. Always solid to add more comp to the women's division. - I'm not going to shit talk Franklin Wesley's *intent* because it was A+ effort and as a rookie, that's what you need. That being said, he was told from the start that the WWE stuff would not go over well (as WWE does not exist in our universe) and he opted to ignore advice and move forward. I can respect sticking to your guns,, I guess. Hopefully we get some more info about what kind of person Franklin is. I think Tyler's video later in the show did a MUCH better job at both backstory and in establishing the kind of character we're supposed to expect. - popped for Millionaire calling Bingo "Mr. 17". MORE universe connection in these cool ass SPA promos. Entertaining stuff. Kudos to all involved. Women's match was very fun to play. Shout out to Ashley for the opening spot idea. It popped me on rewatch - Holy. Shit. Locke & Key was superb lmaooo. Promo of the night. It's definitely very long, so those of you who don't like "werds bruh" will shuffle off to do whatever it is you knaves do, but here's the deal - This was a perfect combination of descriptive, funny, and accomplished the goals of setting up the match for next week. Hilarious stuff. Reminded me of prime Bobby Minio in the comedic timing and general style. - "Parker, sufficiently spooked..." another pop. Continuation with Caine and Elliot from End Games. This version of Caine seems to have lost his god damn mind, and I don't hate it. In terms of a straight up match, the new rules were SHINING in Doc vs TY. MOTN for me, highly competitive and the removal of resil makes every title match a completely scary affair. Good survivability from TY but couldn't hang on. DOC getting attacked by the Insane Caine is interesting. With this and his involvement with Elliot, I'm not sure where Caine's head is at. - FloJo and Ashley setting up a possible encounter down the road? This is a smart interaction considering neither was pinned in the match Fuck the handicap match. Kass' apology tour ending with the greatest betrayal in OCW history was just... ugh. The story told actually led me to start cheering for Nate by the end. No surprise there, though. Nate fucked by Ted again as he had the pin for like 7 seconds before Ted got back up. - I thought the lottery line in the earlier promo was a way to get a one-liner in, but this is actually a good connection to Pride champion Archer. "Wealth Detector". Is Cort getting back into the Pride title picture? - Mercer's video work was solid. Again, loving the effort coming in from the new handlers. This is the kind of thing that is going to make your first feud even more interesting, whenever that happens. Also... WTF is this music? That is not exactly what I expected to hear seeing Manik's aesthetic. - Fake ass Capo, Tre Golden interrupting the Justin Jehst promo. I love the matchup (if we get it) based on where both ended up in Season 15. I think it's an even matchup that will certainly be well written and elevate whomever wins... also, Cort Marshall now linked closely to his new friend and the man he turned heel on 2 years ago. Coincidence? - Doc's a bad man. Doc and the unhinged Salami on deck!! The REAL Main Event was most interesting because of their build to it and the starpower. Inside the ring, it was a straight forward Spider style match with Pugh getting back on track to kick off Season 16. - Looks like Kass is operating as a hired gun. With his history on the roster, he could pop up anywhere at this point. Scary stuff if you're fighting someone on his tour. KD's new look is awesome. I definitely appreciate his longevity and willingness to fight anyone and everyone. Unfortuantely, he's pretty much outclassed throughout by the World Champion and his annoying little group. Take your shirt off, Rust, you're a world champion pro wrestler for fucks sake. The big announcement gave me chills... and I made it! I appreciate everyone's reaction in the show discussion channel as well as in VP... But there's more to come, this is only the beginning. 8 killers and 1 bracket... STAY TUNED!

A tearful woman sits in a comfortable looking office chair. She is trying to console herself. A hand reaches down and rests on her shoulder. She looks up and lets slip a smile. A man pulls a chair up and sits with her. They speak in a hushed whisper, the buzzing of old light fixtures contrasts the soft spoken voice of the young man. The woman nods her head and starts laughing with the man. The two share a kiss as she wipes her tears away. A clicking sound of a door is heard and the couple stand up. Walking into the room is another couple. They smile wide at the sight and embrace the younger couple. The two who entered the room appear to be older than the young couple, likely in their mid to late 30s. They seem incredibly happy to see the once teary eyed woman, who seems to be in good spirits, despite her tears. 2nd Man: I cannot tell you how grateful we are to you both. The younger man nods his head and smiles at the gratitude. He puts his arm around the teary eyed young woman and another clicking of the door is heard. Walking into the room in a large white jacket and scrubs is a man who appears to be a doctor. Doctor: Mommy? He enters view carrying a small, newborn baby. The baby fidgets around, but doesn't make much of a fuss. He brings the newborn child to the two couples, leaning towards the younger woman, identifying her as the mother. Doctor: Would you like to hold him? She takes her baby and stands with him in her arms. The younger man joins her and they speak to their baby. Mother: Look at you. Mother: You're going to be great. I just know it. Mother: I'm sorry we can't be the ones to watch you grow, but you're going to be in good hands. The new parents look up to the other couple, who are also now becoming emotional. Mother: We love you, Isaiah. She carries the child to the other group and all four share a tearful embrace. She hands the child to the other couple. She smiles so wide and holds him. Mother: Thank you both for making this process so easy for us. I know the last 3 months have been just as stressful for you as it has been for us. Father: Do you plan on staying up north? 2nd Man: Not long. Just long enough to make sure this little guy is safe to travel. We have to be back in Philadelphia before the new-year. The birth father laughs softly and nods. The view fades out as more pleasantries are exchanged. The birth parents gather their things and hold onto one another as they say goodbye and walk out of the office area. A zoom back into the couple holding the newborn shows great happiness on their faces. There is a brief pause as they soak in the moment. Man: I'm glad we kept the name, you know. Woman: Is that right? I thought you didn't like it? Man: I think it was because I was using their name, you know? But I've come around. Isaiah Quartz. It has such a nice ring to it. The woman laughs and gives a playful tap on his shoulder before looking back down at her new baby. Woman: What do you think, little handsome? Do you like that, Isaiah? The view focuses on the child's face and his eyes open slightly. Woman's voice: Do you like it? --- A snap flash from the face of the baby zooms back to see the bloodshot eyes of Ijitu Quartz. He shakes off the cobwebs. Voice: Hey! I said do you like it? Quartz turns to see Ryu Matsumoto, standing in a blazer and sun-visor, with a whistle around his neck. He's standing near a white board with ridiculous lines and arrows pointing at random diagrams. It seems to be a gameplan of some sort. The bottom of the board shows "PAUL POO" with several bulletin points listing his strengths and weaknesses. Quartz: It's fool-proof. RYU: I KNEW IT. The Quartz and Spider Legend Beatdown Tour claims it's oldest victim yet, next week! Quartz: We really need to work on that name. RYU: Well you said the "Legendary Guy Beating Tour" wasn't going to work. Quartz: That's because you kept shouting it as an acronym! RYU: Well then what was wrong with "The Legendary Beat Off Tour"??? Quartz: Spider... RYU: We're beating them off... the OCW roster! The scene fades as Spider returns to studying his "strategy".

The sounds of crashing and banging are heard as a camera runs to the scene. Rampaging down the hall after Turmoil has gone off the air is Ijitu Quartz. He kicks over a trash can and is knocking over anything that isn't nailed down. Quartz: That gah' damn vagrant pile of filth! Who the hell does he think he is?! Quartz: Disappear for 9 months and think you can show up and interrupt ME?! ME! Quartz is beside himself after catching a Jack In The Box from the returning Code Jackman earlier in the evening. He turns and sees the camera peeking down at him. He makes a beeline. The camera attempts to turn and run but Quartz snatches the crew and looks directly into the lens. Quartz: No, no, no. You wanna see this meltdown? You think you know what I'm going through? I'll tell you something, you fecal fanboys, you don't have any idea what beast you've unleashed. I am the one that calls the shots. Quartz releases the camera man and takes one last kick at an equipment box, which causes him to stumble, embarrassing him further. As he leaps back up, he continues. Quartz: Dupree! I know this was you! I know you were behind this! Someone must have tipped you off. You know what I was out there to do tonight. Quartz: You want to throw bodies in Quartz' path? You think Code Jackman will contain me? Is that what you think? Quartz: Well you'll be happy to hear, I'm accepting Jackman's challenge at End Game. Er, END GAMES. END GAMES! I'll be there. Quartz: Jackman, I'm a different man than the person you fought 2 years ago on Turmoil. You better hope you didn't rack up any ring rust during your time under that bridge in Jersey, you sad sack of shit. I was flustered, that's it! You understand me? You won't get that chance again! Quartz: ...and when I'm done with Jackman, I'm going to run through everyone in my path until I get what I want in Season 16. Now get out of my face! Quartz shoves the camera man back before throwing his arms up in frustration and shouting down the halls. Quartz: SPIDER!!! SPIDER!!! GAH' DAMMIT SPIDER, WHERE ARE YOU!? The scene fades as Quartz shuffles around a corner, still angrily yelling.

can't get to everything in detail, fuck you. riffing quickly Very good debut from both rookies. I don't think we've had someone come in that smoothly in a long time. Let's get both of them in a program EARLY in season 16. Kass' apology tour is FAKE NEWS Jackmo, like KD, will never fail to get a pop out of me during their RP work, for very different reasons. Glad to see Jackmo back even if it was for a rookie orientation. I love when tag matches go smoothly on the shows. One was fun to play, the other was fun to watch. FloJo actually blew me away getting some momentum back on Holly Glad to see the INT title scene getting some RP love this week, felt a bit absent last week. That one will be a roaring good time. LOVED the Tucker Caine RP. Probably my fave of the night, only because Jackmo's was more of a comedy thing. Tucker finally standing up to that shitbag makes my heart heppi. LETS GO Austin Lee is fat and he spilled my Jose when he beat up Jordan Trance What in the bajesus, that Mac Attack on Archer came out of nowhere, I didn't expect that at all. We'll see where this goes for the new kid in town... Ashley Moore is the best, idc what anyone says NATE VS WREX... Fuck yes, this is one I've been trying to book every week since Nate came back full time but they made me wait. I'm glad they did! We've become very injury prone in OCW, racking up the injuries every week we're forced to stay on 2K19. Doesn't help that Dominion is a collective of fuckboys and their pet ferret tried to take out Jehst. Friendly reminder that while OCW's marquee matches have been coming hot and heavy since Consequence, don't forget about these RPs. I had to sit down after the show and read them since we zoomed through matches in the VP and OCW has also been putting out some very good stuff with the written promos week after week. Wrestling is all about the stories and don't ever forget about the WERDS BRUH. That's what makes the big shows big. Good job everyone.

Quickish thoughts based on my initial viewing So glad to be back. The break after cide was well needed but also "absence makes the heart grow fonder". Dominion's entrance was awesome. If a rookie came in with that cheesy ass theme I'd criticize it but these guys can do whatever the fuck they want. Also shout out to whomever edited that because AWESOME idea to use Rollins entrance to incorporate Danny Watts into the fray since there's no 4 man entrances. That's how you use what the game gives you folks. It's a small thing but it popped me HUGGGGGE as someone who creates content with this game and always has to find creative ways to use what it gives you. Was extremely disappointed in the women's #1 contenders match. Aside from the fact we didn't give enough pomp and circumstance to Holly Hunters return to action, the mouse cursor on the match combined with Adam's complete lack of effort to translate the Blaine we know and love from PS4 to Xbox took me out of it. It was super mailed in and I was not here for it. Next. ASHLEY MOORE, THIS ASHLEY MOORE... is my favorite Ashley Moore. The cowardly, "oh be my bodyguard, oh I need help" nah that's in the past. she whooped Valk's ass. She whooped Debbie D's ass and now she's here with a brand new look to match her attitude. I could watch her come out and bury the competition on a weekly basis. YES YES YES. Way to save this match, Ashley. Although I think Lee's comments echo himself, I think that was the joke. Glad to see Lee back in a mostly full time capacity but he's been disappointing in the ring, same with Trance. This is a great mirror match coming up between the two. Also don't beat up children. That's super dark (what a heel) Paul Pugh is back, I popped huge for the video package. You all know I'm the #1 Paul Pugh fan. I have to say a "face" Pugh after how he's acted is a ballsy proposition but coming in against the gatekeeper and promising to earn his keep, that's one way to win back over the OCW crowd. Can't talk shit about the promo, it was great. Blending in and being one of the batch instead of acting like you're better than everyone. We'll see if he shows up again next week after KD whooped his ass. Welcome back Pugh. P.S. learn how to reset. I've told you this before and I'll tell you again, you don't get to ignore FPR just because you're a legend. Lucha Country doing a great job keeping their bond connected despite being in separate singles matches DEREK SMITH is here! So happy to see the rookies show real excitement for being in OCW and doing shit from day 1. I'll give Derek a break for all the WWE imagery, branding and rough-around-the-edges editing because it's his first day and also it legit warmed my heart to see a rookie come in like this. We all came in rough around the edges and just the fact he's showing initiative gets me pumped. I'll combine colins promo here too. No video but both his RPs have been well written and immersive. They both "Get it" looking forward to their turmoil debuts. Clark effect to set up a tag match I'm very much excited for. Face Kass, like Pugh, is going to be hard to get used to, but great job on Kass for flipping his entire image on its head with change of character and also giving us a reason for his actions. Asher continues to improve. I love this guy's attires. He kills it in that regard every time. His moveset is a little cheesy with the overriding strikes in most resets, but this match was mostly clean save for a hiccup here or there. Good to keep Asher's momentum going as he threatens the INT title. was VERY bummed to not get the tag match that was originally booked. Cort needs a break, making uncharacteristic mistakes in the ring at this point. His RPs stay crispy though and he knows how to make things make sense one way or another. Very intrigued by the Millionare Brigade's involvement. We'll see where that goes. A candle. The answer to Jamie's riddle was a candle. "System Shutdown" video was VERY well done. I have no idea where it's headed. Again makes me wanna keep tuning in. Who could it be? I don't review P3 segments because you need to go and watch them yourself to believe them. Good El Parca video package. Straight to the point, keeps ya boy in the forefront. Ahead of what turned out to be a fantastic main event. Leon, much like Pugh, returns to TV with a vengance RP wise, a beast of a written promo including a video package nicely recapping what took him out after his Drago match 2 years ago. Glad to see him back and Elliott Parker has a real huge opportunity in front of him with Leon's clout (and his car) in his face. Love fighting Jamie. TY's promo excites me. It brings me down and makes me sad because TY is going the wrong way thinking he needs in-ring success to be over in OCW, but then I realize i'm being worked as he brings my spirit back up with a crafty and unexpected call to a friend. More reason to watch later shows. Mark Reeses' music plays at the start of the Parca/Doc promo despite the fact that I whooped Reeses' ass from here back to Nebraska. It was what it was. More set up for the awesome main event. Another Aries one-off or return might have been "meh" or like "okay sure" but this is intriguing. a new character means a new slate and newmatchups. As a booker, I'm excited to not be handcuffed by aries reputation and be able to book this new McCallum in exciting new matches going forward. KD v Antonio needs to happen, I could feel this promo happening to me as I read it. Probably my favorite of the night and I don't know why. KD pops me so much. Main event was just - *chefs kiss*. Back and forth, competitive, no real FPR issues, no real ethics bullshit. Just a match I got to boot up with one of my favorite commentary partners and enjoy. I'm a dumb asshole so I always have shit to say but I enjoyed this from start to finish. Wins and losses don't matter when your match is this good, folks. Fin

I lost the document I had with all my live reactions, but here's some quick ones I'm very happy AC Cobra put Danny's cheese in it's place. Enough has been said on the matter. Listen to your vet mentor and do better. I'm very happy AC Cobra finally got rid of the 260 lb title chasing, backstabbing, woman slamming weight off of his shoulders. Summer of AC 2.0? Contract signing was dope. Very visual scene in words, not easy to do with a long one like this. Aries career on the line in a comp format is much more serious me thinks. the Next Gen Nate tour continues. i had a blast in the tag team match. Many spots popped me live in the match and it is always nice to play with 3 people who aren't try hard fucks. That being said, Debbie D is going to be your new women's champion, so lets get that visual started. This new helpful Archer is suspicious. I don't like it, but a good mixture of two proven technicians helping Elijah, and we learn more about Eli's backstory and his character, which inherently makes me care more each time I see him. I've watched the mystery video 100 times, still don't know what's going on there. Baker v Eli was an okay match, with all of the bangers we had it's hard to compete, but it was a nice clean match and finally Elijah breaks through and will get that upper card opportunity. KDs RPs always pop me "Yeah, I beat him." Tucker's betrayal drawn out for maximum heat. It seems long at first but that's the entire point. I didn't hate. Glad him and Asher didn't drop this when Caine came into the picture. Continuity! Lucha Country mucking it up with UC, I assumed we'd get these two for a tag title but that'll change later in the show as we'll see. More continuity in the match and in this RP as the former International Powers connection causes Parca to lose control and costs them the match. The match itself was more tag team goodness, especially in the early going. rabble rousers will tell you that Parca was dumb by not tagging out at the end, but I actually liked the narrative spun by Parca keeping himself in trying to prove he can take on Antonio and his emotions getting the best of him. I'm back gah' dammit. Great job in the time leading up to this from Jehst. The notes were a fun and simple build up and I know 1 or 2 people saw through the consequence "storm" where it turned from Red to Blue, but I figured it'd be more transparent. I'm glad it was as subtle as I'd hoped. Now Jehst has to die, unfortunately. SPIDER IS BACK and he's using TOLMC magic to torture the roadhouse! I wonder what his drink of choice would be? Not for nothing, a Spider vs Blaine match would be hilarious. It's not unprecedented. She beat Code Jackman last year. What an amazing opportunity for Elliott, just don't slap Nate in the back of the- welp he's dead. Elliot continues to show that continued winning/dominance is not necessary for getting over and putting together entertaining stories. Happy with how he's improved aside from that, too. The RP introducing Lee into the INTERNATIONAL TITLE SCENE is so funny. The initial moments of self-doubt and regret turning into an absolutely hilarious image of a crying Parca with Mark Reese's stupid headband over his mask. Very Booker/Goldust levels of friendship and goofiness. Nick showed us that memorial service card earlier this week, it's one of the funniest things I've seen on a TV show in a while. You know the matches got a lot of hype this week but the written material was great too. B17 and H2O was just *chefs kiss* exactly what you'd want from a Champion vs Champion match. They didn't skimp on the interaction either with the confrontation pre-match. Good references and callbacks during the match from Brian, even though his mic was peaked out like a motherfucker to keep both men's stories from being forgotten and the callback to Wrex vs H2O when that was champ vs champ was great. Try dialing that recording volume down just a hair. Good job everyone. I still hate you all.
