Someone on FPR needs to play the game more aggressively than I do. I get spikes of interest and I've had an FPR issue here and there in the past. I shouldn't be the final word for anything. I'ma just keep making random observations as I normally do. The most annoying thing is the game would be completely serviceable to me if it wasn't for the huge pile of crap of the ease of reversing. Tanking Tech won't help. If it wasn't for that, this game would be on par with 2k7 - functionally amusing, with a lacking move selection. Online is less laggy, game seems to move quicker(until people start dying later in the match). Alas, it's THQ. They fix a problem and create another. I think their on the breadth of something good with some of these ideas, they just execute embarassingly poorly.

Grand Slam is 4- hence the baseball reference, and under the 4 required, Guy Fausto is a Grand Slam Champion. Primary=OCW Title x2, Secondary=International, Teritary=Pride, Tag=OCW Tag. Just because HBK never held the Light Heavyweight/Cruiserweight(which he was eligible for as a Lightweight) or Hardcore titles does not mean he is not considered a grandslam champion in WWE. History is important as a lesson of the past and understanding it makes us wiser in determining the future. Revering history & culture is in the same as revering art. History also has practical value in drawing from concepts lost in the past(some guy figuring out how they built Stone Henge can be applied to modern construction in some ways) and history can tell us that say, Communism, just doesn't work. Yes. Long running feuds are keys to building a good character. The Rock and HHH always hated eachother, and would take potshots eachother even if they weren't eachother's active feuds. Ditto for Austin/Rock, even when both faces, they're cooperation seemed stringent at best. Note Me and Smythe. In character, I FUCKING HATE SMYTHE, and Smythe feels it's mutual. The one time where Smythe seemed to 'befriend' me, I was really suspicious and didn't buy it for a second and it turned out I was right. A few months ago, Valmont and Trevor were players in the TDT/Guy and Versus's team of assholes. I tried to get Valmont and Trevor to work together. It didn't work one bit. They cooperated only to explode and try to kill eacother before the job was done. Unless, of course...THIS IS ALL A PLOY AS TREVOR AND VALMONT RETURN WITH THE REINSTATED TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIPS as bestest friends int he whole world. ...I'm on to you two.

Actually the way I saw the booking: Over the last month it was meant to indicate that Mayhem has always had a cult following from the fans. Screwing up my timing on the last Riot before the PPV kinda fucked with it. Even when Mayhem is a heel, he has his followers. Despite me being the face, I acted like a total douchebag to Mayhem the entire feud. I was the one who started shit. I was the one who abused power to even get a contenders match. I was the squirmy little weasel. People were suppose to want to see Mayhem finally get his hands on Guy after Guy played the total wuss. It wasn't really me ever getting vengeance on Mayhem - it was Mayhem trying to get vengeance on me. Essentially, it was to make Mayhem a tweener of sorts. On top of that, Smythe, the eternally hateable, kept trying to but in. Mayhem constantly made it clear he doesn't want Smythe's help and accepts it begrudgingly at best. Smythe, is of course, all for Smythe and has been seething since Mayhem fucked him out of his title match. For an analogy: It's like if The Miz attacked Kane. Kane, despite currently being a heel, and a more dominant one, would be met as the face due to his cult following and that the Miz is fucking hateable and everyone wants him to die in a fire. ...Weak analogy since Kane's alignment depends on his mood in the morning, but the same could be applied to Mayhem and it would make a bit of sense.

So... to win against Mayhem, I should go play in traffic?

Since he mentioned it in the idiot thread and I agree it worths noting - We won't need a 3 on 1 to beat Mayhem, cause Trevor gave both him and Smythe hell with only me being a massive prick occasionally. He took it to the both of them on his own and it is a performance worth noting. Trevor seems like he could pull off the win against Mayhem, but the stars didn't align for him when it mattered. Not like Smythe is a pushover either, despite his voice getting higher in every match he has against me.

Since Trance nagged me to stop slagging Danny and calling him worthless and look at the damn show. The OCW Underground seems to be a set up for competiton driven wrestling. This sounds good and all, but while the concept is fine, I think the problem lies if people find the game fun enough to push it as such. It could be the stop gap between OCW and OCF though, in that it wouldn't have OCF's weakness of lack of storylines. It's clearly a wait and see aspect to see where it goes. Will there be a strictly OCW Underground title? A rigid ladder that decides matches? Make it a separate weekend show outside Riot? Will it coexist with OCW, or act as a separate entity? IE, will things that occur on Underground affect Riot? I do not mark for Justin Rockstar for obvious reasons. I do mark for Katinzo on the grounds that some effort will appear on his front and it can be a strong positive for the EX. Why does everyone want to murder Gaines? Does his lack of race just trigger everyone's racism towards him? If you're racist against any race at all, you just hate Gaines. On that matter, it seems people being hit with cars is getting overdone. Mayhem was hit with a car, Gaines was hit with a car, and it's always the same car. So clearly, we can deduct Trance was responsible for hitting Mayhem as well. On matches: Can we make it a rule to turn numbers on for counts? Looks silly to have counts with no indication. Smythe is a main event level competitor holding our Midcard title. Like myself and the International Title, he has the problem that no one on the level of that title will beat him for it. It's kind of an annoying thing and I'm not exactly very hopeful of Hostile's chances of beating Smythe clean. But upsets do happen. Except Jacob Trance apparently beat him to it. Whoops. I suck. I fucked up and broke the pin twice during the tag match. I thought the rule was still three, and didn't know the one break rule was law now. My apologies.
