Stacy Clark catches up to Djesus Djones who is preparing to leave the arena. He's changed into his street clothes, a pair of blue jeans and White Timberland Boots as well as his Jordan Jersey and all his bling, the EX Belt slung over his shoulder. STACY: Djesus do you have a minute? Djesus turns lifting his Crossed Sunglasses up off his eyes and resting them atop his head. He smiles revealing his golden grill and responds. DJESUS: Of course Sistah Clark, Djesus always has time for his flock, do you mind speaking on the move Sistah Clark, Djesus is running late. Djesus begins walking out of his locker room as Stacy follows close behind. STACY: Djesus earlier tonight after your match you sto... Before she can finish Djesus cuts in DJESUS: Now, Djesus thinks he knows what you're about to say Sistah Clark, and before you commit to that Blasphemy Djesus would like to clear the air. DJESUS: You see when Djesus signed his latest contract he signed an exclusive deal with a Brotha Richard Blood General Manager of Ambition. That contract signed Djesus on as an EXCLUSIVE Ambition Talent, the only exception would be for Title matches naturally. STACY: I don't follow DJESUS: Well Sistah Stacy, that means when Jookie challenged Djesus to a match here on Riot it was implied to be a title match. STACY: ... but you didn't win... Djesus stops abruptly just as they enter the parking area, looking almost offended DJESUS: Sistah you better learn yo place before Djesus goes Detroit upside your face. Stacy pauses shocked by Djesus' response, not knowing how to respond. Suddenly Djesus spots a Pontiac points to it and smiles and continues walking. DJESUS: Hey, thats Jookie's car, you know what they say about Pontiacs? Stacy allows Djesus to take a few steps forward before recovering and catching up. DJESUS: Poor Ol' Busta Thinks Its a Caddie. Djesus laughs as he stops at a White Cadillac unlocking the door and opening it, he tosses the EX Belt into the passenger seat and continues. DJESUS: If you see Jookie, tell him he can a shot at Djesus' title back on Djesus Djone's show. The A Show itself. AMBITION! Djesus Djones gets in his car and drives off, leaving Stacy alone to try and figure out Djesus nonsense.

Respect the man with the low card title who only defends against lightweights and rookies. I can't believe suda would ever venture to throw a backhanded insult at you. PERISH THE THOUGHT!

Hey now, just because Jookie is Jamaican doesn't mean you don't count him Spoiler You don't count him because he jobs to furniture :P
-
I could go on and on about the Ex "disadvantage" but I'd only be parroting what Suda has been saying here. The fact of the matter is that even if Spider or Suda get a majority of the offense in during a match we end up doing significantly less damage to a heavy opponent. Not to mention the fact that if I go for aerial offense and I miss/get countered the penalty, damage-wise, is much more significant than me reversing a grapple or strike.

FUN FACT (WE SHOOTAN NOW): Illuminati and my tenure in Lotus was only meant to be a 2 or 3 week "debut" thing so I could reveal myself as Spider, betray Matsuda and join the Anti-Lotus faction, but people loved Illuminati and his role in Lotus so much it ended up sticking for several months and becoming one of my favorite/best gimmicks for Spider.

http://www.ocwfed.com/forum/images/bTech/misc/bluepearl-design-logo.png The War Begins: I3 Climax At the annual I3 Climax Grand Prix, a tournament held over ten days to decide who the best in Osaka Pro was, Matsuda and Matsumoto would meet in the Finals. Both men, seeing the tournament as an opportunity to impress Mishima would push their bodies to the limit for a victory over the other. Scene cuts to highlights from the match, Matsuda landing a series of stiff kicks to Matsumoto's body, Matsumoto diving out of the ring and onto Matsuda who was attempting to catch his breath, Matsuda busting Matsumoto open with a kendo stick, and finally the controversial finish of the match. Matsumoto had locked Matsuda in the Tarantual Clutch, however Matsuda was able to roll Matsumoto onto his back with his free leg getting the pinfall as he tapped out. Not knowing what to do, the referee would call the match as a draw making this the first and only I3 Climax Grand Prix to not have a champion. The next night Tarantula Mishima would come out to the ring to address the fallout. Mishima stands in the ring, one hand in his pocket as he looks out onto the crowd, a mischievous smile on his face MISHIMA: Very good my Spiders. Last night the two of you showed me that you were willing to push your bodies to their limits to claim the title of TARANTULA. Mishima pauses for a moment for emphasis MISHIMA: But that is not enough. I know the two of you are equals, so the only way one of you can overcome the other is by pushing past your limits. The winner of this war shall be the one willing to go through the fires of hell and grasp the title of TARANTULA with his own two hands. The First Death Match In exchange for receiving the number one contender status for the UWGP World Heavyweight Championship and a second opportunity to win the title of I3 Climax Grand Champion Matsumoto would relinquish his UWGP Intercontinental Championship. During the weeks leading up to the rematch tensions would run high. Matsumoto struts out to the ring as he normally does. He panders to the crowd for a moment before going up the steps and stepping into the ring. SPIDER: OI! (the crowd echoes him) OI! (the crowd echoes him again) Matsumoto looks around at the crowd smiling SPIDER: Oi Oi Oi Oi Oi Oi! OI! SPIDER: There has been a man running his mouth about me, saying that I'm a coward, a weakling, and have only gotten were I am today because of luck. Do you know who that man is? The crowd begins booing loudly as Matsumoto moves erratically around the ring, he stops in the middle of the ring and puts the mic close to his mouth, pausing between each syllable SPIDER: MAAAAAAAA! SPIDER: TSUUUUUUU! SPIDER: DAAAAAAAA! SPIDER: I know we have a match this month, and I know we had a "draw" at the I3 so lets not leave it to chance this time. Let's go to hell! The crowd goes silent as they seem to realize implications of what Matsumoto is saying SPIDER: We should have ourselves a DEATH MATCH, no chance for a fluke, no chance for a DQ, no chance for questions TWO men walk in, ONE walks out. Matsuda would accept the challenge, and in the weeks leading up to the match the tension between the two would escalate quickly. Then it came, one of the most brutal matches in Osaka Pro history. The scene cuts to the two men exchanging kendo stick shots to the skull, it fades to Matsuda throwing Matsumoto into the barbed wire ropes, pyrotechnics going off when he made contact, it then fades to Matsumoto dropping Matsuda onto a pile of tacks with a Tiger Bomb, the final scene fades in of the two men brawling at the top of a ladder, a burning table just below them, the two fall off the ladder and through the burning table, the referee begins to count the knockout on both men. The match ends in a double knockout as neither man could answer the ten count. For a second time the two men would fight each other to a draw. A match that was meant to answer the question of who was the best in Osaka Pro Wrestling would raise a new question that would be fought over in the months that followed, "Who was willing to go further?"

You were good in our match Scofield, Pugh had thought I wasn't damaged when you hit your Fin on me but I'm pretty sure I was. If anything I was at fault because I went for my Sig right when it turned into a Finisher.

http://www.ocwfed.com/forum/images/bTech/misc/bluepearl-design-logo.png In light of recent events on RIOT, OCW has decided to do an exclusive look at the history of two OCW Superstars. In the entirety of the history of Osaka Pro Wrestling there has been no feud as infamous as the Spider Wars. However in order to fully understand what this feud meant for both of the men involved and ultimately for Osaka Pro Wrestling as a whole we must go back to the very beginning. Early Careers In the early 90s two high school graduates from Sendai Japan, Hideto Matsuda and Ryu Matsumoto, joined the Osaka Pro Dojo where the two of them formed the tag-team The Sendai Drinking Boys. They would establish themselves as crowd favorites and staples of many Osaka Pro Wrestling Event undercards. The two would eventually go undefeated for two years as the UWGP Junior Tag Team Champions. The scene cuts to various scene of the two performing various scene's of them ducking under and over opponents, tandem moves, and pandering to the crowd With their impressive acrobatic feats, flawless team work, and undeniable charisma it wasn't surprising that current UWGP Heavyweight Champion and superstar Tarantula Mishima took interest in their careers; he would extend an invitation to both of the Sendai Drinking Boys to train at his personal Dojo. Birth of the Spiders After accepting Tarantula Mishima's offer to train at his Dojo the two would vacate the UWGP Junior Tag Team Championships and take a year off in order to hone their craft. After that year had finished the two would return to Osaka Pro. Matsuda had fully embraced the teachings of Mishima, becoming a mirror image of his mentor, leaving behind his roots as an aerial ace for a more vicious mat based technique. On the other hand, Matsumoto took the Tarantula style and adapted it to his own aerial style as well as stepping up his showboating to the umpteenth degree. The scene fades to images of Matsuda viciously striking someone in the corner with the ref ultimately having to pull him off. It then cuts Spider doing a showboating to the crowd before hitting a Spider Special, a standing moonsault followed by a standing shooting star press. Year of the Spider After returning from their year off training with Tarantula Mishima, on the day of the Tarantula's retirement, the two Spiders would take Osaka Pro Wrestling by storm, dominating the heavyweight division despite their size. Within a year of their return Matsuda would manage to capture the UWGP World Heavyweight Championship and Matsumoto would manage to capture the UWGP Intercontinental Title. It would be at this point that Tarantula Mishima would utter the words that would bring about the Spider Wars. Matsuda stands in the ring with the UWGP World Heavyweight Championship draped over his shoulder, Matsumoto stood next to him with the belt hanging out of the back of his pants. The crowd goes silent as Tarantula Mishima's music hits. He slowly saunters out and into the ring. MISHIMA: I have brought you out here tonight because I am old, and as an old man I can no longer carry this name... TARANTULA Matsuda and Matsumoto both looked up in awe since they realized the implications of this statement. MISHIMA: However, only one of you can carry the mantle of TARANTULA. I won't decide now, but the decision will come. Prove yourselves to me which one of you is able to cast off their weakness and become the TARANTULA. Mishima steps out of the ring as both Matsuda and Matsumoto staredown, an image that would be forever remembered as the moment the Spider Wars began. To Be Continued...

Debate with the Devil: SPIDER's Rebuttal As I sit here in my dorm room, smoking a cigar and browsing cougarlife.com, I will take a moment out of my extremely classy time to contribute to discussion. Cerberus is an awesome faction, unlike many other failed factions they manage to maintain a presence even when they aren't booked with content. Just looking at the group though its not hard to believe, both Code Storm and Sean Mcgoo are work horses, and adding a "credible" (note the quotes) "legend" (again note the quotes) like Leonhart really draws attention to their work rate. Leon is pretty good at that, I remember three rookies who started a faction on Ambition that really got their careers going with the credibility that Leon added. As much as I'd love to say yes, I'm going to have to say no. Unfortunately I'm going to be the bearer of bad news and say Ambition is struggling and will continue to struggle unless we see more of what I go to Ambition to see, ACTIVE rooks NOT active main roster alts. However, there is hope, if this influx of rooks that have shown up over the weekend are as active as the mainstays we have now things will get better. However if it doesn't I say promote all the rooks and bring back Unleashed and/or Asylum for those un-booked on Riot, I honestly have no idea, Dimsmore is the total package, reliable for content week in and week out, gets all of his matches in on a timely manner and all of them are of amazing quality, he's a monster on the sticks, I honestly think there are very few people who could consistently beat Dimsmore if anyone. What I'm effectively saying is PUSH THIS MAN TO THE MOON. Tobin Frost has quickly popped up on my radar as a reliable and consistent worker. He puts on good matches, and puts up content. In my opinion all he really needs is a few small tweaks to his attire and a good feud for him to really make an impact. Yes Eh As I said with Tobing Frost, Trance just needs a good feud to push him over the edge. No one really cares to be honest, people just wait for my reply : P

I'd just like to say that Achilles is based off of someone from ancient Greece, and I'd like to point out that men from ancient Greece touched little boys... is Code trying to tell us something. Art does imitate real life.

Yup, and that's exactly why the Ex-Division isn't doing well this season, because there is very little room to compete outside of the division unless you are really good on the sticks or you find a way to neutralize the heavy advantage. I had to shift to an almost exclusively strike based offense because cruisers will lose out in the grapple game in terms of damage, and even the ability to actually use most grapples 9 times out of 10. -

I'm not a huge fan of this plan, or even the 85 Cap since I think 82 provides just enough to flesh a guy out with reasonable Defense, Charisma, a Pumped up skill, and speed OR durability. However, I may be biased because I'm a cruiser and the 82 fits my playstyle/how I see my CAW's proficiencies perfectly. What I think would be better is going back to the Class Based Stat System, where you get an overall stat Cap for your weight class, higher for cruisers/lower for big guys since cruisers give up their ability to consistently win the tap mini-game and have a much lower base durability. In addition we could have individual stat caps for different types of wrestlers i.e technicians, showmans, athletes etc. I'd be willing to work on fleshing this out with someone if we opted to go this route because the one drawback of this method is that it requires a lot of balancing to make sure you don't give cruisers too much of an advantage over the heavies. -
