The Desk Ep: 143: Overworked & Under The Weather
Vincent Valmont replied to Mr.Sensation's topic in OCW The Magazine
Haha.. I was thinking exact same thing as I was listening to it. He sounded more like he was from Rocky 3. -
If I may chime in I understand the discussion thats been given about my match. I personally didn't have a problem with how it ended. Mainly because I suck at kicking out so if Irving wanted to give me another chance at staying alive to go for sub it my fault i didnt reverse it. On other hand I get why a pin must happen first just to keep others from bending the rules. Something I know Irving doesn't do nor did I feel like I was wronged in our match. I enjoyed the match honestly. It felt like old times with also a semi big fight feel to the match. Still love that theme of Irvings. So I'm not trying to step on toes, or disagree with anyone. I'm just sticking up for a guy who I know is a fair person. :) Now onto Turmoil I just got home from work, and will hopefully post more thoughts about rest of show, and all the hard work others put into the show very soon.
-
Cameras fade into frame as we see the inside of an empty Turmoil arena. It's already pre set, and ready for tonights Turmoil 197. Inside the ring is sitting two individuals. Both on their seats, and one of the individuals is Stacey Clark. The other is Vincent Valmont. Stacey:"Hello, and welcome Valmont. It's been a while since OCW has seen you inside the ring or accepting interviews for that matter." Valmont:"Thanks, Stacey. Yes it's been a while...it's been 4 long years since I showed my face, and competed in OCW. I must say honestly it feels damn good to be home." Stacey:"I'll try to keep this brief as you requested. Shall we get started?" Valmont:"I appreciate that, Stacey. I request this interview to be brief just because I spent my entire career building myself up off words then going out there to prove it right, but as history will show that is what got me into trouble with the backstage my last run here." Stacey:"Indeed so, Valmont. So do you have anything else to add onto the heat that was on you from management, and backstage that made you walk away 4 years ago?" Valmont:"Not really, Stacey. I don't want to go into a full confession, and end up puttng foot into my mouth. Instead I will be a man of my word, and this goes out to anyone, everyone, and those in between that I, Vincent Valmont apologize. This is sincere, real, and from the heart. I regret so much throwing away my career over words. It wasn't my actions inside a ring, but rather what I said, or did outside of it that got me into hot water. I basically walked into my family's home, and burnt it down. I rubbed so many people the wrong way, and made myself public enemy number one." Stacey:"As history shows that seems to be about everything wrapped up inside a nuthshell for you, Valmont. Just sitting here across from you, and talking with you again 4 years later I can honestly say I believe you, but I'm not the ones you made enemies of. However I do hope you find peace in this return, and the bridges you may have destroyed can once again be repaired. Now onto my next question, Valmont. Rumors have been in circulation over the internet for almost 4 years that you would eventually return to OCW anyway. Ever since the show card was posted for Turmoil 197 as it marked the return to you in OCW many have wondered why now?" Valmont stands up, and paces the ring. He walks along the ropes as he rubs his hand over them. He walks to the turnbuckle, and comfortably sits on the top rope. He stares at the empty arena, and empty seats as he briefly closes his eyes. He cracks a smile and reopens them. Valmont:"Honestly I thought for a while I would never return. I put myself in a self-imposed retirement, and with the birth of my 2nd child my beautiful daughter my life was complete. I was happy, and in peace. A changed man so to speak. Then days go by, weeks, months, years, and that itch returned. Noo Stacey... not that itch! I'm talking about the itch to compete. It's why hall of famers return again, and again to compete in OCW. They get the urge to fight. Because teachers educates students, doctors saves lives, a cable man installs crappy cable service it's what they do. Fighters fight... no matter what they say, no matter if they think they've burnt out, but deep down they all got the itch to compete. To be the best, to be recognized as the best, and to establish your own legacy among many other greats. So over time I felt incomplete inside like I had unsettled business to finish. My name..my career, and all I've worked so hard to achieve it boils down to my legacy I leave here in OCW. I be damned if I was going to let my career, and legacy be tarnished with how I went out the last time. So I chose to walk into the OCW HQ, and talk to the man himself, and worked out a contract. I didn't care I didn't receive a legends contract, nor that I get paid less than before. I'm not here for money, or for special privileges. I want to compete with all these young bloods, and great new talent, and even familiar faces." Stacey:"Interesting to hear the story unfold about your return, and I agree there's alot of new talent here in OCW, and alot has changed as well. Speaking of change you actually have a match tonight against someone else from the oldschool of OCW. A former champion who's been around as long as you, but neither of you haven't faced off in singles action in your careers, but only a couple of times. None other than Seth Irving. In what yall's match is being built up as a old school rumble. Now the real question is what is your thoughts on Irving? Also if any doubts on your return be cut short if you go into the match, and don't live up to the hype. Perhaps fall to your expectations, and lose. Maybe even lose badly in first match back. Granted it's been 4 years since your last match in a OCW ring, but in your opinion does any of that matter to you?" Valmont gets off the top rope, and goes to sit back down in his seat. He grins a bit, and closes his eyes once again taking a sigh of relief with reopening them, and smiles. Valmont:"Let me say I respect Irving. He's a fighter like me. I know I won't get nothing, but his very best in our match. If I don't step up he will beat me. However to say I lose the match in any fashion then get discouraged. That's only half true. I will care if I lose tonight, but will it effect me moving forward? Hell no in fact I gurantee two things. First I will bring everything I have against Irving, and he will get nothing less from me than he will against me. 4 years or not I will show the whole world who I am, and what I have left in the tank! Now for number two whether I win, or I lose. It doesn't matter right now because the only thing that matters in my first match back is sending a message to the lockeroom that I'm still one of the most dangerous guys inside this ring, and my return is just beginning." Stacey:"Well I appreciate all the time I have shared with you(Stacey looks toward the cameras), and this will be airing live now on OCWFED.COM, as well as a repeat showing prior to Turmoil 197. For me, Stacey Clark, and my special guest, Vincent Valmont I thank all the OCW fans for viewing this. This won't be our last time chatting with Mr. Valmont as part 2 of Don't call it a comeback will air next week following 197 heading into Riot 500, Turmoil 198, and more possible questions to be answered. Goodbye!" Both shake hands as Valmont leaves the ring to go prepare for the return matchup against Seth Irving for Turmoil 197. The cameras slowly fade out as the cameramen and Stacey start packing things up as the show is about to start soon.

Maybe this whole return thing was a mistake on my part. I seriously think no matter what I'm gonna do now or in the future or how good it might be it will never ever please certain people. Got left in a storyline at last minute. Did a match with someone I didn't want to, but didn't have much choice. I mean I'm having a blast... never had so much fun like this before.
-
There's a difference between laying down, and then doing a scripted ending after we did the original match. Damn I swear man... you act like I made you look bad. Also don't even attempt to go there, KD. You're a cool guy, but don't you ever imply I asked you to lay down. Got me twisted with someone else. I only asked to base the match off the real results. Hows that asking someone to lay down? I kept the original match. Would that make it feel better for you if people saw original match? I think you wouldn't but then again IDK anymore as there's no rules in matches anymore.
-
Originally I was going to go that route, and end it with that as I knew it woulda made more sense. I just wanted to end the thing with a decent match instead of the other one. I really wanted alot more out of all of it, but I got left with an angle/storyline that had no future because of certain circumstances.
-
This again? Really? I told you exactly what the hell I was gonna do before I did it and right then and there after the match was over. I also told you I wasn't going to let Matsumoto beat me down for minutes with a chair and cause me to win by DQ which is what you pitched. After I declined I told you what I was gonna do. Nor was I going to let KD or Matsumoto interfere in any of the matches.
-
It was very clear I had to lose by pinfall or submission since I didn't lose in that fashion the gauntlet would continue. Maybe I shoulda put that in the promo. I know I made it a bit confusing, but in the same context that if a champ loses a match by countout he still keeps his belt. Well mine ended in a draw so I didn't lose nor I won, but it would still continue the gauntlet. My ultimate plan for the whole gauntlet match was kinda killed off. Which sucks, but it was the cards I got dealt with. So what you see is what you get. :(

*Here at OCWFED.COM we're very excited to announce that OCW's Summercide PPV is just hours away from kicking off. With everything going into tonight's show it looks like it's going to be huge. Alot of different outcomes are expected tonight, and none is more controversial than Vincent Valmont over the last few weeks. It seems OCW management booked him into that 3vs1 gauntlet match as punishment for actions taken by Mr.Valmont. What wasn't reported about the match until today is that after the actions taken place at Riot 391 where Mr.Valmont was suspended, but fount a way into the building. After being caught he was then arrested, and charged with trespassing that same night. One OCW official that works with the head management of OCW talent relations had this to say on behalf of the stories unfolding around Valmont.* "We can't think for Mr.Valmont. He has to do that on his own. We will not keep giving him chances only to wash them away with his crazed ego, and lunatic behavior. He is a menace, and is a serious threat to the life of OCW. Mr.Valmont has made it clear since his return he's only after himself, and that's all he is caring about. We want to inform Mr.Valmont that what he's done against the refs has caused a major ripple inside OCW. No longer are referees wanting to ref their matches. In fact they begun to go on strike, and protest until either they got raises, or until Mr.Valmont was fired. Now we strongly agree that Valmont attacking refs, and other innocent individuals without any motive, or reason is unacceptable. WE WILL NOT TOLERATE THE BEHAVIOR FROM A ONE, VINCENT VALMONT. That is why we here at OCWFED.COM like to inform Mr.Valmont if hes reading that his match at Summercide isn't going to be pretty. He's really gotten himself into some trouble that I don't think he can get himself out of. Tonight ladies, and gentlemen Vincent Valmont will not only try to defy the odds in a gauntlet match, he will not only fight 3 other men, but also he will be fighting for his job! That's right ladies, and gentlemen if Mr. Valmont is to lose any match just one single match by pinfall or submission then he will be fired right there on the spot, but not only fired he will receive a lifetime ban of ever returning into OCW again. The paperwork is already printed by our lawyers. This action seemed to not only please our stockholders, but also pleased the refs into finally showing up to work, and do their jobs without no protest. The replacement refs that has been used in OCW for several weeks have been currently let go of their duties. This is all I wish to say further say at this time. Enjoy the show tonight!" With the news leaking out about Vincent Valmont's match at Summercide nobody has seen or heard from Valmont since Riot391, and many speculate if he's going to walk away, and quit once again. Nobody from OCW, or close friends have been able to get any comments from Valmont all week which is unusual even for himself. Many folks have started to believe that he's already quit, and walked away. There's been no proof to back up those statements, but also at the same time there's been no denial that things have been kept quiet from Valmont, and his agent since that night at Riot391. After days, and hours of calling, and leaving messages in hopes to catch some story from either Valmont or his agent we finally was able to receive this comment from Mr.Valmont's agent just shortly a while ago.* "It's with great pleasure I want to confirm that my client... the beast itself... the future OCW Heavyweight champion, and hall of famer... VIncent Valmont WILL be at Summercide to fight for his job. Not only to fight, but to dominate. My client is clearly upset at the way OCW has treated him since his return. Tonight my client, VINCENT VALMONT... will do the unthinkable. He will not only beat 3 men... he will hurt 3 men... not only hurt 3 men, but destroy 3 men. Tonight my client will keep his job, and continue to do what he does best...conquer everything in front of him!" Here at OCWFED.COM we're just hours away from Summercide. As the time draws closer, and closer we will have all your latest information regarding anything, and everything that is OCW related including Summercide. Please continue to check back here for all your OCW information.

I actually enjoyed listening to it. I share some opinions, others I didn't. Not a bad thing. I also respect the honesty shown, and also the advice thrown around. As for me I know most won't remember who Valmont is. I haven't done anything relevant in a while. My own fault. However if anything I will bring up from the past about me I can say this is when I was active back in the day I was active. From 2007 when I finally debuted in OCW on the xbox360 up until I fought my first Lution main event at Wrestlution5 and further on in 2010. Not missing hardly much time over the course of almost those 4 years straight working way up from hc champ to heavyweight champ. Wasn't easy by a long shot. Doing mainevents, feud after feud, and putting in all the hours, effort, and content. Something that shouldn't never be bragged about, but always expected out of for anyone. I know thats the past I fully am aware, but I'm only saying all this because I want to get back to that same level of content, and being reliable that I used to be. I agree that I'm more of a competitor than a writer, but the main thing I just want to say in my defense is that since I came back I know 99 percent of my shit has been late. Excuses or not I never intend to show disrespect to Park for submitting late stuff, or to anyone else for that matter. Except for the late submissions I have put in content each week since I returned except for this past riot392. Only missed one match out of being booked each week so far since returning and that was for storyline reasons only. I have stepped up in helping others with matches, or vids. I tried to attempt a feud. Also I shouldn't have any blame thrown at me for the handicap match at all. That's fine it's your opinion, Pugh, but dont throw me under the bus for the sake of doing so please. I'm not upset so don't take this as that. Like I said I do respect the honesty and will take the advice. I just want to show that i'm going to keep trying to get better, staying active, and finally getting shit done more often in on time. :)
-
Just saying I intended not to put any content into Riot392 for Val. After finding out some things that I won't go into discussion here, but ultimately led the decision not to post anything this week. I wasn't lazy, or forgot. I just didn't want to this week because plans have been changed or atleast my plans. Instead I got a shit load im working for Cide. However like I said some stuff has happened behind the scenes that I won't talk about. I do agree about Riot. However so far from the rps I read, I haven't been able to watch any vids yet, but so far the RPs are looking good. I haven't read all RPs. I'm halfway into the show. Although I'm actually going to be one of few that probably will be home all labor day weekend so ill get to do watching, reviewing, posting, and submitting.
-
I didn't think I wrote in a way that seemed confusing.... Oh well... this thread is full of win anyway.
-
Just explaining that my RPs for Riot was done to setup something. It'll all be explained at Riot 392, and Summercide. The point behind them was due to Val suspension from the promo backstage I made a few days ago. I know the rps probably seem like they wasn't leading to anything, but they're. I'll take the advice, and try to make myself become a better writer. :)

*OCWFED.COM has finally revealed the scoop on all stories so far that has gained alot of interest with no answers or details regarding them. Until now as OCWFED.COM has recently picked up on some recent big breaking news that has erupted from the aftermath of the past few weeks. Here's a list below of everything that has finally been made public to the fans, and everyone else. Starting with the violent attack at Riot 389 involving The Family, and Wonderful Wesley. After the match between A.C Cobra, and Wonderful Wesley there was an attack. The injuries, and whereabouts regarding Wesley's health was kept silent until today. The news broke out as Wonderful Wesley finally went to the hospital. There has been reports that despite the painful attack that caused broken ribs, mild concussions, and a dislocated shoulder to Wonderful Wesley at Riot 389 he had refused from friends, family, and even OCW to seek medical treatment. After several days he finally checked himself in, and learned of his injuries. On his social page just hours ago he informed his fans, and everyone of his problems. Not just the injuries, and causing him to miss OCW time, but also the drugs that was fount in his blood work at the hospital. It seems Wonderful Wesley was still on drugs, and that's the reasoning behind the silence since the attack, and the refusing of medical treatment. Now the question remains up in the air... even if Wonderful Wesley can heal back up to fight another day, can he kick his addiction behind him, and even if then will OCW even accept his return after all this? We'll continue to watch for anything new in this tragic story. Now moving onto another superstar that has made clear over the past week that despite his injuries suffered at the hands of Vincent Valmont he will return. Dorian Arnaud was viciously attacked after his match with Valmont back at Riot 389. Arnaud was the victim of a devastating finisher through a table off the top turnbuckle. The awkward landing made it a very scary moment to have witnessed live in audience. Mr. Arnaud suffered a broken neck, and a broken arm. He suffered alot of blood loss. Right now despite the high hopes from Mr. Arnaud of returning OCW officials have already leaked the severe danger of the injuries done to Mr. Arnaud. One OCW official commented very shortly that "right now his return to the ring is out of the question. Right now in his condition he might not ever be able to wrestle again. To come back early, or at all without being fully ready of the risks is not only very wrong, but dangerous. I highly recommend Mr. Arnaud to retire, but the choice is left to him." Now as for the man who did the attack to Mr. Arnaud, Vincent Valmont was recently hit with more trouble other than his actions against Arnaud. It has been released via statement from OCW management, and member.* "It's with great regret we wish to inform that because of the countless aggressive actions taken by Mr. Valmont on our referees over the past weeksis not tolerated, uncalled for, and will be stopped. It's taken us a little while, but we finally reached a fair punishment for Mr. Valmont. That's why as of today August 21st, 2014-August 28th, 2914. Mr. Valmont is suspended for one week without pay. He is also to pay a fine of a total of $20,000. Also banned from Riot 391 because of his actions of recent past weeks that means his match is canceled until a replacement is made. We also wish to inform Mr. Valmont that here at OCW we won't tolerate anyone breaking the rules, and thinking they will suffer no consequences anymore. If we have to we will make the example out of Mr. Valmont. The last thing OCW needs is to get into legal trouble, and lawsuits by our very own refs just because of one man changes all of that. So to please the refs, and to also avoid any lawsuits, and court. We reached a settlement with the individual refs that Mr. Valmont has attacked. Also the add to the $20k fine for Mr. Valmont he is to also pay an addition $10K fine or else suffer further suspension without pay, or worse. That is all I have to say regarding this incident. It ends NOW." *Here at OCWFED.COM we will have all the very latest news and information regarding this story, and any other story within OCW. Check back always here at OCWFED.COM. Your #1 source for all things OCW, and beyond.*

I wrote it while watching the PPV. So with me stopping during the ppv to write the review after every promo, and video it was probably close to between 2-3 hrs.
-
OCW's Damnation PPV Review Before I write this review I just want to say I will be doing these every week for Riot, and every ppv. Expect these to keep happening as I do my part to be productive, and help discussion get back on track. On all matches I review I will give out a grade for the overall of the match. It don't mean if I give you a low grade for the match that I don't like a certain person or I'm being an asshole. I just grade it based solely on the match overall no matter who. A is the highest, F is the lowest. F grade is the worst, and means the match was a trainwreck with problems, and ethics. The D grade means that the match was also filled with problems, but not as many, and had very few big spots. C would be average match that didn't disappoint or had any problems except maybe one or two, but also at same time didn't separate itself enough to have alot of stand out spots and moments. The B grade would mean the match was great, and enjoyable to watch. Nothing went wrong, had great spots, and moments, but maybe just missing that extra inch to make it go from B to A. Leaves A grade to be a "perfect" match. What makes a perfect match? For me it's the pace of the match, the storytelling inside the ring. The reversals, the spots, the flawless ethics, and fpr in the match. Going the extra mile to make sure the match looks awesome without needing to try too much. Match was so close that nobody lost the match until the very end where atleast a few finisher reversals occurred before someone hits it, and wins. It can be a title match or non title the grade remains no different. So once again before I write this big review I will say these are only my opinions, and thoughts. Don't mean I dislike anyone because of a certain grade. You can have a D grade match one week, and a A grade match the next week. It all depends on those involved. It just means I want to be honest, and also give out constructive criticism to help push people to become better. Page 1- We kick off the show with a strong promo delivered by Pugh. The promo itself was strong, and very informative. I was pretty much caught up on anything I've forgotten, or missed out on leading up to this Pugh vs Minio feud that's happening. It'll be interesting to see what happens between these two further into the ppv based off Pugh's words in the opening segment. Very entertaining promo by Drago Cesar. We got bears, forests like jungles in Long Island, corrupted park rangers, and one man sprinting like he's never sprinted before. I like the character, and his direction is that of only getting better. He already has the in-ring abilities to get the job done, and now slowly, but surely he's going to get there. Page 2- We turn our attentions backstage now as the cameras are with Jacob Trance, and The Family. I don't know too much as I'm slowly getting caught up, but I think it's cool that Trance has his own group. I figured they can be called the calorie killers, or the burn fat boyz? Reference to Fat Trance, but like I said it's cool to see the character direction of Trance, and the evolution he's taken to get where he is right now. There's probably not anyone else on this ppv card that has more momentum heading into a match than Trance does at the moment. I see the references thrown around at Trance's style of his promos, but I like it. It works for him because of everything he's been through, it's the next stage for Trance, and I'm curious to see where Trance takes the Family on his back. BombShells Threesome Match- Between Anna Mosity, Legion, and Molly was our first match of the ppv, but it wouldn't play for me. I couldn't view it. Something to do with the filter, but I was able to watch the rest of the videos which is strange. So I apologize for not sharing my opinion on this match. I would, but I can't watch. It looks like we got ourselves a new tag team in OCW. I like the looks of both Shanes... instead I should say Shane #1, Shane #2, but I'm just going to call yall by your last names. I hope this tag team hits the ground hard, and keep full momentum going. I want to see tag team action more in OCW, hell even a tag division. If you build it... they will come. It's very true. I'm still uncertain about the theme song for the team, but I think yall can make it work. It's catchy, but I think it's more suited for a solo wrestler than a tag team. Bad Company is here to entertain, and win championships. I think they can, but it's up to them. Good luck, and welcome to OCW. Page 3- It appears Minio is coming down to the ring to address the situation for tonight. Minio is another I don't know much about, but slowly educating myself on these newer guys. His promo was strong delivered, and gave a good point across that Minio has momentum into tonights big match. Confidence goes a long way into winning big matches, and it appears Minio's confidence is sky high. Will that be a good thing or be his downfall? My opinion is take matches like any other match. No pressure, no worries, just go do the damn thing, and worry about it afterwards. Just my 2 cents... this match taking place tonight between McGee, Minio, Frost, and Illumnati went from being big to bigger with Sensation shaking up the ppv with one small cameo in the promo. Match is now a #1 contender match for OCW title thanks to Sensation... like I said no pressure, no worries. :) Next up is a promo between two men who go into battle tonight...Cesar, and Fuentes. Another entertaining promo from two more of the newer guys. It appears Drago still has that beer whistle... that's cruel, Drago. Luke Fuentes vs Drago Cesar Match- Grade: C Before I comment on the match I just want to say I'm a fan of Luke Fuentes. He's got a look, he's got himself in good ties with some people. I see a bright future for Fuentes along with Cesar. This is a showcase of part of OCW's future. Should be good..let's get started. Neither person gets the upper hand early in the match as it goes back, and forth. Quick moves, and counters are the start of this match. A little bit of hovering, but overall it wasn't a problem. Things aren't looking too good for Feuntes as Drago is building strong momentum as he's keeping Feuntes grounded, and on the defensive. Alot of early pin attempts from Drago. Slowing Fuentes down.. good strategy. At the 6min mark we finally take the match outside as Drago remains in control. Fuentes starts to get some offense in a bit more on the outside. I saw a missed chance for Fuentes to continue to aggressive attack on the outside instead of entering the ring. Giving Drago time to rest. Fuentes tried to hang on throughout the match, but once put through that table it marked the end for Fuentes in this match. Drago was on point with his reversals, and it showed to prove victory for him because of it. Fuentes is tough, and wouldn't go away, but needed to be aggressive instead of slowing the pace which is why he lost. Next up is a promo backstage from Jookie Marley. The man that's too high to realize he was being on camera. It seems Jookie is more ready than ever before in his career. Tonight he has a big match, and task in front of him. Let's see if the time for talk is done, and if Jookie is really ready to take the next step so he can get that ex title shot. Page 4- Here we have a promo from A.C Cobra. My only problem with this RP is I don't know if it's backstage, outside, or inside. Not really a huge problem because the promo itself was written good. Put alot of hype into this match between A.C, and Jookie. A.C made some good points that we're gonna have to wait, and see if he can back them up to earn himself a shot at the ex title. Next up is a hype video for the return of Smythe Da.Wonder. It's good to have him back, and can't wait to finally get a chance to beat him. Only person I have faced more than once, and not beaten. It's going to happen just like those colorful attires you used to rock out in. Cameras are shown on Mugen, and Matsuda. It seems the two's bond grows stronger together, but Bobby Minio shows up. To stir up trouble, mindgames, or just being Minio? I'll let yall decide..I think Minio maybe right. Time will only tell it. A.C Cobra vs Jookie Marley Match- Grade: C We kick off the match with both men brawling. Going back, and forth, but it don't last long as Jookie starts to take control. Outch that botch dive through the ropes looked like it hurt, Jookie. Whatever weed you smoke is strong as you missed Cobra by a mile. So far the match is less highflying, and more of a brawl. Hopefully the pace quickens up a bit, and we see more flying. We're almost the half way mark in the match, and it's been all Jookie in control. Around the 5 min mark, and Jookie is first on deck to hit his signature. The highflying picked up a bit, not much, but some. It got more interesting with the highflying. Being an ex wrestler you'll have to live with the risks of highflying, and not paying off. Cobra begins to slowly stay in the match, and mount a comeback. 8:20 min mark, and Jookie pays the price for getting too confident. 8:30 min mark of the match, and another botch suicide dive by Jookie. The ropes are betraying you, Jook. Spot of the match came with that kick from Cobra on Jookie at the 9:40 min mark. That shit looked like it really did hurt, but Jookie fights through it, and kicks out of the pin. Both men are now grasping at chances to finish the match, but it's Jookie that gets fired up with the wake up taunt, and boom it's all over after he hits his fin. Jookie for the victory. This match was hard to grade, but I gave it a C because there wasn't as much highflying as I thought there might have been. Page 5- Next up is a promo backstage with Tobin Frost. Another strong promo hyping up this 4way match between Frost, McGee, Illumnati, and Minio. I like the strong questioning of his own self, and the fire that burnt inside when he punched the mirror. I'm sorry to inform that you just got 7years bad luck hopefully that doesn't stop you from winning tonight. S.S.D vs The Family Match- Apparently just like the bombshells match I can't view this match either. It sucks because I really wanted to watch this match. I assume it was a great match with those involved in the match, and it being the only tag match so far. It keeps telling me the format is not supported. I can't get it to load on any of my media players. Next is a promo from Sean McGee...or BUFFNESS. Everyone's hungry, but not everyone is going to eat. Let's see if plans remain the same for McGee in this match, or plans backfire. He could lose this match, but still walk out tonight a champion. Very interesting... We have a promo here by Arnaud. He's talking for Matsumoto, and his intentions. It seems Matsumoto doesn't like Mugen although Mugen seems to be moving on. Maybe Matsumoto can become the Asian Stalker? New gimmick... BOOM! On the serious side I rather see someone else talking for Matsumoto than Arnaud. Basically Arnaud should become a manager only character, and keep the focus on Matsumoto on his own. Let him do promos in his language... who cares if we know what he says, it looks intimidating though. Or better yet get a speaker for him. Good potential in both, but needs direction. Page 6- Another promo from Minio. His match is up next. Will he win, or will what just happened in this promo be a distraction? I have no clue... OCW Heavyweight Title #1 Contender Match- Tobin Frost vs Bobby Minio vs Illumnati vs Sean McGee- Grade: B The match kicks off fast, and a brawl. Tobin targets Nati, and McGee against Minio. I feel sorry for Minio, and Nati. They both are men among giants inside that ring. Both Minio, and Frost regrets trying to fly as they both missed. Nati takes advantage of Frost down while Minio, and McGee continue battle inside the ring. So far McGee, and Frost are in control of their own battles. McGee is tired, and wants to hit someone different so he slides out the ring, and goes in pursuit of Nati. While Frost heads into the ring, and goes on the offensive against Minio. Nati decides to get some help, and goes for a chair. Down goes McGee once Nati smacked him with the chair. So far Frost seems too strong for Minio until he get some help, and out goes Frost with a chair shot to the head. I would say both men should be out once hit with a chair, but I think the chair absorbed more damage than they did. The help for Minio doesn't last long as Nati tries to break the ankle with the chair, but messes up on the attempt. The matchup I was waiting to see.. Frost vs McGee. Both big men begin brawling with each other. Blow after blow with fists until McGee gets upperhand, and hits a devastating backbreaker on Frost. Minio regains control against Nati, and gets some payback as he lands a hard hitting ddt on the chair on Nati. So far this 4way is having a really good pace to it. Just when I speak too soon the match gets clustered as all 4 men are surrounding each other, and just trying to fight off 3 other men at once. Double team move by Nati, and Minio on McGee, but Frost breaks it up. Isn't that nice of him after receiving a chair shot by McGee. A jaw breaking uppercut lands by McGee on Minio while Frost jumps off the 2nd rope, and hits a spinning back elbow on Nati. Here comes another chair entering the match from Nati, but Frost is waiting for him with a strong slam. Spot of the night for me in this match so far is the botched attempt at Minio to fly at McGee knowing he has a chair in his hand, and ends up paying the price to fly with a chair shot. With Minio, and Nati both down then Mcgee, and Frost turns their attention to each other. Right now i'm calling it... it's between Mcgee or Frost to win this thing. McGee decides to up the violence, and brings in some steel steps. Gutwrench powerbomb on the steel steps by McGee delivered to Minio. Damn that looked painful... concussion? I think if Frost didn't pick him up he might have laid there whole rest of match. Frost gets creative, and goes for the kill with a submission on Minio, but got broken up by McGee. I think McGee should have went for the pin on Nati instead of continuing to fight Frost in the corner. I changed my spot of the match to McGee no selling the tossing of steel steps by Frost on the outside. Awesome... RKO outta nowhere by Minio on Nati on the outside. McGee, and Frost go back at it inside the ring. Back, and forth between the two. First to be eliminated is Minio by Frost. It seems McGee takes the pin while Frost does the damage to Nati as he's eliminated shortly after. Now only two men remain... who has the endurance, and strength to finish this match? Both men go at each other. Hitting strong move after strong move. McGee gains control for a brief moment, and goes for the steel steps. My opinion McGee should have stayed all over Frost, and went for the kill. The german suplex off top rope on the steel steps by Frost to McGee was the mark of the end. Frost signals for the wakeup taunt... BOOM. Finisher is landed by Frost to McGee on the steel steps. Ouch.. back to back on the steel steps. I bet McGee really regrets bringing in those steps now. That seals the deal as Frost walks away with the victory, and your new #1 contender for OCW Heavyweight title. This match was awesome, I enjoyed watching it. I gave it a B although it deserves an A, but didn't give it due to it being a 4way because it's more about chance, and just surviving until the end. We cut backstage to a promo from Justin Raze. Another one of the newer guys that I'm slowly learning, and catching up on. I dmed him a couple times, and he's pretty good. Another piece of the puzzle that is the future of OCW. We end the promo with someone laying the pipe... literally to Raze as he's knocked out by someone unknown. Who will it be? Was it a failed murder attempt? Raze better get revenge. Page 7- We see K.D in his locker room saying his prayers, and taking those vitamins. We see a determined K.D that's eager to fix the mistakes, right the wrongs, and take over OCW one victim at a time. Let's see if it holds true. Next up is a recap hype video for the OCW Heavyweight title match. Showcasing the history between Trance, and Storm. Very well done, and edited. This right here is what makes matches stick out even more. When there's history between the two we want to see that history in a manner done like this. We are shown McGee being carried out on a stretcher in bad shape as he points at Frost before being taken away. Lex Walker approaches Frost, highly upset, and confused. Frost explains that nothing wasn't done that McGee didn't cause on his own. It was going to be either Frost or McGee, and it just happened to be Frost pulling out the W. Like Frost said he didn't bring in those steel steps, although I bet he wants to thank McGee for that, but at the end I see Frost being a very tough opponent for whoever wins between Storm, and Trance. Is this the rise of Frost, or just a fairy tale with a sad ending? The Main Event- OCW Heavyweight Title Match- Jacob Trance vs Cody Storm©- Grade: B The match kicks off at a fast pace. Both men going back, and forth. Trance with a early suicide dive onto Storm. I can already see this gonna be a counterfest with whoever has the better strategy, and timing wins. The pace is fitting in really well with both styles of men. Although Storm is a little bit too big to run as much as he does. Just my 2 cents... Now the match has gone in favor of Trance with him getting aggressive, and getting much offense in. So far everything Storm throws at Trance he has an answer for. However I might be wrong as Storm gets some offense in, but does the one thing you don't need to do in a big time title match. Giving your opponent time to rest, think, and get back offensive when he could have been on the defensive instead. Trance regains control as he knocks Storm outside the ring, but Storm isn't giving up. He gets some good offense in on the outside, but runs back into the ring. Thats twice you should have stayed all over Trance outside the ring instead of giving him time to recoop. Only this time Storm doesn't make the mistake twice, and continues to be all over Trance. Getting good counters, and offense in. Something that was needed to make a comeback as Trance has been in control most of this match. Trance plays it cool, and baits Storm out the ring. He takes the bait only to chase Trance back in the ring, and shortly after is hit with Trance's finisher. That wraps it up, and ends the match. Now we have ourselves a new OCW champion, and only thing I have to say is... who will step up to take on who I believe will be a strong fighting champion in Jacob Trance. Is OCW ready? Is Trance ready? Is the Family ready to protect Trance now he's become the biggest target in OCW? Alot of questions that will be filled in the next upcoming weeks on Riot. I'm for one is excited to see what Trance takes his OCW title reign, and what he does with it. Congratulations to both men on putting on a competitive match, and congrats to our new OCW champion. Good luck in the near future... I will get hungry myself very soon. :) Overall I enjoyed this ppv. Enjoyed watching, reading, and writing this review. Not the best, but for how many pages it was it was indeed great.

Apparently I'm the only one that has done this? I wonder who all has "retired", and came back? With that being said I didn't grow a big head with what Smythe said. It's an opinion, but what I also didn't do is jump all over it just because of some vendetta against someone else. :) I didn't take offense with what Trance said, but apparently what Smythe said upset you? Now nothing to argue about, surely, but also what Smythe said, and what I think is different, but at the same time I will agree with Parker on the count that when I came back I didn't make a big deal of it, and I didnt want people to feel like they should. I came back to whoop ass in that ring I don't care who. I spared "certain" people back a couple years ago when the last time I was fully active when I left. I'm not leaving now. :) I want to be the same person I was in OCW over two years ago. The same productive member like any1 else. It's funny though how in just two years alot changes... Now if the smiley faces isn't enough clue to know I'm not starting an arguement, and I also appreciate Smythe's, and Trance's review. I take it as opinions instead of acting like it's breaking news, the untold truth. To be productive I also am writing a review, and will have two huge ass reviews posted for both ppv, and Riot. :) So keep up the good work OCW... I hope to see more than 3 pages. How about 4-8 pages every week of Riot discussion?

If I came off as ranting or angry in my comment I wasn't trying to be. It was just how it got typed. I was only trying to understand what exactly you meant. I agree about working hard, I will do so. As weeks go by the slow pace will be kicked up a notch. I'm fully dedicated into giving OCW an enjoyable feud, and get me my contract back! :)
-
Just clarifying that VV don't have a contract. We're not rushing the feud. We're taking it slow because of how the storyline is unfolding. I don't think having to be hall of famers really matter much in order to gain interest from people. Also if we was hall of famers we wouldn't have to re earn our places? Or for that matter how do we re earn it? Doing a feud, writing every week, or doing matches? To each their own I guess. It's only 2nd week of new season. I respect your opinion, and advice. I just think it's too early to call it a "meh" feud. Like I said before I welcome all the criticism more the better. I just wanted to help you understand better so no hard feelings. How about when, and if I get a contract you give me a non-title match? It'll be just for fun. I don't want the belt, but just a match with the top champ, and a chance to show how much I'm gonna "re earn" my place. ;)

Just clarifying that I put in general manager, and management in the RP due I didn't want to confuse anyone reading thinking that suddenly me, and leon hate each other again to possibly feud. I wanted it to be like a whole party vote on the banishment. Not just GM, but all of ocw's management decided. I known before hand what's been going on in OCW. Been watching. As for 6 guards maybe a few too many, but not all of them was going to tazer me. Plus I'm not just any ordinary paying fan. :) The RP was supposed to be directly before irving vs raze. Hopefully it helps to understand it better. I'm still slowly shaking off rust with the RP writing. Any criticism good or bad is welcomed. Makes me change for the better. As for Riot I myself will also write a lengthy review upcoming today. I enjoyed this episode of Riot. For the first Riot of the new season I got good feelings about OCW. I like to read so having alot of RPs to do so was awesome. I'll comment more about Riot later...

The 10-day aftershock of OCW 9Year Anniversary
Vincent Valmont replied to Vincent Valmont's topic in Promo Room!
I was told the song I used in the background at the :52 sec mark, and also the song played at 2:48 mark. Both for copyright. 3rd party issues with the songs. For right now the link for the youtube is working as they just sent me a email and asked if i acknowledge the claims against me for using 3rd party content, and for now it's working again. i assume it'll get taken down again in a matter of minutes or few hours -

Vincent Valmont replied to Vincent Valmont's topic in Promo Room!
Youtube took it down so I had to reupload it at a different site. For those who maybe haven't seen it. Just DL it using this link, watch it, and then delete afterwards if you don't want to keep the video. I don't know why it was taken down I only stole music that was already uploaded on youtube. The link will pop up a window asking you to play with your default media player or to save the file. just play it, and it'll dl. https://browning.sharefile.com/doremotedownload.aspx?type=direct&id=fi3158a2-270c-8db9-79f1-ad2b5b6da968 -
It's been ten long days since the OCW Nine Year Anniversary PPV taken place. The PPV itself was well received, and scored high ratings along with many PPV buys. The general feeling within OCW management is that the PPV was a success, and things are heating up when OCW returns for a new season. Unfortunately within everything that happened at the PPV, and the many rumors that hit the dirt sheets about the PPV. There was one story that was attempted to be kept under wraps. It was prevented from being spoken about, shown up as many videos was taken down within minutes of being posted. The only people that firsthand saw the events took place before the Seth Irving vs Chris Mania match was the people live in the audience in attendance at the show. For those that ordered the PPV on t.v or internet wasn't shown the incident that occurred prior to the match. It was cut quickly to commercial break before the incident happened. One statement was been released by the talent of relations for OCWFED, and here's the comment. "I, myself as speaker for the rest of OCW management, and as the head of talent relations I can't begin to describe the insult to this great business by the actions that took place by a certain individual. A certain person who was granted a one time appearance contract to show up at the PPV only to decline just hours before the PPV. Instead the individual as none other than Vincent Valmont insisted on sneaking into the arena, and through backstage to land an assault on a defenseless wrestler, Seth Irving. The reasons are yet unknown, but we here at OCW are going to pursue criminal charges among Mr. Valmont. For such charges as assault, assault with a deadly weapon, trespassing, and breach of contract among other charges are currently being processed. As for the incident that took place we are finally releasing the missing footage from the OCW Nine Year Anniversary PPV. Only because we feel it is necassary to understand what happened, and most importantly to let the fans who paid their money get everything that they should. It's been ten days, and we finally decided that we would release the footage. We here at OCW have been listening to the complaints about Seth Irving vs Chris Mania not taking place, and this moment will reveal the truth behind that. With this release of the video here at OCWFED.COM we hope justice will eventually be served to Mr. Valmont, and this is proof we will use against him. More details will not be released about this until the court trial. As for the match that didn't take place will hopefully be redone at a later time, and date. Thankyou" That's the only statement that has since been released from OCW officials. No comment has been given from Mr. Valmont's agent, or from Seth Irving. It is believed to be said Irving will make a full recovery, and plans on being at the first OCW Riot show of the new season. As for Vincent Valmont no details have surfaced yet as to why he showed up to attack Seth Irving, and his response toward the charges he faces from OCW. More details will be released. Stay tuned. Click below for the link to the missing footage.

PT.1 OCWFED.COM 1on1 with Vincent Valmont
Vincent Valmont replied to Vincent Valmont's topic in Promo Room!
That was my evil plan all along. Make you read long text promos until your eyes bleed. Either way as long as people read it I'm cool even if people like it or don't. I will always read other people's promos. Longer than mine, or shorter it don't matter. -
*Valmont stands there thinking hard for a moment before giving out a devilish smirk. He stands up off the stool. He paces around the interview room with a cold, and emotionless stare from his snake-like eyes. He finally answers the question as he stops pacing the room.* Valmont:"As you can see I had to stand up, and think for a moment about that last question. Do I, Vincent Valmont have any problems with how OCW is being ran? *begins laughing* As a matter of fact I have alot of problems with how OCW is being controlled, and ran right into the ground six feet under... I can stand here, and lie, but I believe honesty is a good thing. I believe that honesty hurts more, and creates more problems for folks than a simple little lie can ever accomplish. So here's the truth... I currently hate the OCW product. I mean seriously over the last several weeks OCW has seen alot of familiar faces return. We seen a new OCW champion crowned, and it makes me sick. Is this the OCW I left? Yes it is... because I was sick of it then just like I am today...I won't go into detail about every person on that roster, but I will get some things off my chest... I can't understand the business mind of OCW. First off you let a guy who shouldn't be in the main event get a chance at the biggest prize in OCW... the OCW Title. How long did it take this guy, and how many hall of famers had to leave before this inevitable disaster occurred? In fact I think I'm more disappointed that Parker Stevens lost the title. A man who was supposed to be the last of a dying breed. The man who beat my ass five times in a row before I got that first victory over him. "Scumbag" Parker is nothing more than a shell of his former self now, and it actually brings a fake tear to my eye... Which leads me to Nate Ortiz. What can I say that others haven't already? The man really is a true hall of famer, a legend, and one of the first to create a revolution for OCW. With that being said, and all due respect, but this man hasn't been Nate Ortiz since he ended Nick Kage's career all those years ago. I saw him in his last match with Aries, and much like Aries I was disappointed in both of them. So now the franchise himself, the poster boy for OCW, and daddy's favorite son in-law is deciding to return... That's not even the icing on the cake, folks. The biggest shocker is to see Guy Fuasto back around in OCW again. This man also hasn't been the same since forever. So my question to OCW is this...you must really desperate if you're reaching to hall of famers to return to help the ratings because the OCW champion doesn't cut it enough to draw in the big money.... Last, but certainly not the least. I just recently turned on my t.v, and saw none other than Seth Irvine or Irving. Whatever the hell he wants to call himself these days, but my point is this. Why is OCW that desperate? I understand the stretch to reach out to hall of famers that won't even step foot in a ring for some matches, but to reach out to an alcoholic? This man has gotten so many second, third, and fourth chances that it makes me sick knowing he's even in OCW. What eats away at me from the inside out is the fact he was given another ocw contract." *Valmont slowly takes a sip from a glass of water while Jim mutters something to Valmont off camera.* Valmont:"A while back I had asked for a new contract, and what to my surprise I was told? I was told I wasn't needed. There was nothing for me to return into, and that the current product is fine where it was at. If I had returned they told me I would be stealing spotlight from the younger crop of superstars which I wouldn't call them superstars more like a desperation call to me!" *Valmont begins seething red from his face. Anger is visible as he stands up again to pace back, and forth. He looks into the camera with intense anger pouring out from his eyes.* Valmont:"Do you...do any of you have any idea what that's like to be told you wasn't needed?? To be told I wasn't good enough to help the product, that I can just sit back in retirement, and grow old. At first I couldn't understand it...I tried for days to wrap my brain around the fact OCW didn't want Vincent Valmont back. No contract... no legends deal...no one last time match, but I finally figured out why. The same reason to explain everything else is that OCW is afraid...they're afraid of Vincent Valmont, and what I'm capable of doing. If I want to I can shake OCW upside down, and inside out if I wanted to. If I even felt like it, and was given the chance I would take that OCW title away quicker than Leonheart returning out of retirement... Up until now I came to terms with that, but seeing someone like Seth Irvine. A nobody who washed away his chances time after time after time again. He knows he's lucky enough to be here in OCW thats why he's being a little puppet. He's dancing around while OCW is pulling the strings. While all the time I sit here doing stupid interviews. I have come to terms with my fate. I'm no longer needed or welcomed in OCW, and I accept that. What I will not accept is the fact that I'm not good enough, but a liquor abusing, fake mma, and has been is back. Not only back, but being the little puppet that he is... It makes me sick to just be watching my t.v. or listening to the radio...hell even reading the newspapers. I have seen over, and over again of Seth Irvine promoting OCW. Talking about this, and that in which just is ass kissing. This man didn't deserve another chance...I did!" Jim Black:"With all due respect, Valmont, but he isn't an alcholic anymore. He's doing the best to change his life around, and OCW is providing that chance. What your problem is with OCW, and what Seth Irvine does is two different scenarios. Do you still think after all this time even after the last time you reached out, and begged them that they might have changed their mind about you?" *Valmont continues to get angry as he walks up to Jim as if he is about to attack him, but instead he just smirks while patting Jim on the shoulder.* Valmont:"Let's be honest here, Jim. I'm Vincent Valmont, and I don't reach out for hand outs. I don't say I'm retired, and then return. I don't say I'm the biggest heel, or that I have a big ego. What you see is what you get with me. I don't need any catch phrases or to brand myself to get me over. I did that by myself. I did it through whooping ass, and winning titles... At end of day Vincent Valmont is done with OCW, and they're done with me. They turned their back on me after they was done stabbing me in the back with a knife. I should have bled out, but instead I recovered. I will take that metaphor of a knife, and next time I'll just stab them in the back. Let them feel the pain that I felt... let them know my anger, and obsession. Unlike others that are done with OCW, but return anyway just for a paycheck. I have no pity on them. That's what makes me different from all the rest. I'm UN-replacable, and there will never be another like me!" *Out of anger Vincent Valmont rips off the mic from his shirt, and throws it at Jim. He kicks the stool, and walks off still in anger.* Jim Black:"Well that's all the time we have for this edition of "Where are they now?" I hope you enjoyed this interview, and we'll see you back here next time with someone who isn't as crazy as our last guest. Goodbye, folks!" *Jim black cues for the end as it begins fading in black.*
