Notes from the Main Events at Road To Glory

 

- First and foremost, RD and Majin are both class acts.

 

- My match with RD may look like a squash to some of you, I think RD will confirm I did better than expected. I made some mistakes, being a little nervous. Also had a recorder distraction (thus leaving the ring at one point) Nonetheless, RD is Greatness, and I will see him again in the ring in the near future. The strikes...I couldn't combat the strikes this time. RD is the Fairest Player to step in the ring...dare I say more fair than even Nate?

 

- My match with Majin looked like it would be a squash, but ended up going better than expected. I was very nervous in the match. (should be noted that I did this match before facing RD) Majin has this Run and strike method that is hard to adapt to. You can't really counter because you don't know if you're going to see a running grapple. Majin attempts to put me away twice with Heaton's lionsault...but I'm no jobber. Get that shit outta here. Majin perhaps realized that he's not in the ring with just anybody. That's not going to happen. After I block it twice, and fight my way back to score some damage, Majin starts to get ansy and manages to pull the trigger on the DDT.

 

- I had a hard time with the camera angle...and having Casey at ringside changed my entire mindset during that match. Will she interfere if I get too close to the ropes? What will she do if I can put Majin in a finisher. Wait...I use the RKO...that makes for blood...That means Majin gets full momentum. Alot of things to consider when facing Majin. I hadn't scouted him well enough, I under estimated him quite a bit based on rumors of him being "not so good at the game"...and the fact that he really did have the flu being on my side. He says he was nervous during the match as well.

 

- I never got a flasher...this is where I lose both matches. Having a stored technical means I get a pass on one of the finishers...I blow it there in both matches. Changing to showman from Dirty just recently perhaps was another mistake on my part. I'm not versed well enough in as Smythe would say "Whoring finishers". I will craft that for future matches. CHAMP STATS ARE BEAST. That 7.5 Strength is Godlike.

 

- To kill the rumor on the staging of the lethal lottery...Majin/Bauer was set up well over a month ago. The lethal lottery was a freak occurence that has turned out a different dynamic at this ppv...which is sure to never be duplicated again.

 

- Can I beat Majin? I believe so. Majin is an under-rated champion. He put Kaang away the other night on Riot. I believe Majin can beat Fausto at Wrestlution. Majin with champ stats = one tough monster to contend with. I believe he will confirm, that Brad Bauer on any given night, can in fact defeat Majin. (Minus Casey Paine)

 

- Will I see Majin in the ring again? You bet your ass I will. Probably not in an OCW Championship match, but I will see him sooner or later.

 

- Can I beat Greatness. I shall beat Greatness. RD is one of the greatest champions in all of OCWFED history. Arguably the greatest CCW Champion of all time. Take nothing away from any of the former champs. RD is a classic clutch superstar. RD's strategy is an excellent one. He knows that I have caught on, and I do believe the next time we meet, the outcome will be different.

 

- Is Brad Bauer a permanent fixture in the Main Event? Majin and RD seem to think so based after match feedback. I suppose we'll see how it goes.

 

- I have received my share of jobber jokes, failboat!!! (Bold you funny bastard) and such, I knew this was a possiblity going into Road To Glory, and well, it is what it is. Have fun with it.

 

- Lastly, on the shoot thing with Majin. Majin is a top RPer in OCW, possibly the best in the fed. I get his style. It makes sense in character, and he did put me over earlier in the broadcast. My thoughts, shoot or no shoot, I enjoyed it. Majin has Fausto to contend with, but he isn't getting rid of BRADBauer permanently.

 

Props to Trips/Leon for putting together that Skybox thing. Fantastic stuff-

Way to rip on the rookies Smythe for their first match and first PPV match...I'm sure you had nerves going into your first, so did they. Eddie Mace and A-Jax are both true rookies theyve just started playing/getting used to FPR rules. My plan for creating Death Row was not be the best, and a dominant faction, but to provided some entertainment along with bringing in two new guys to OCW and helping them to grow. They shouldnt be given any top competitors because of w/e reasons, they are rookies and I want them treated like them also. Obviously they fought Bold for storyline purposes, and are no where near being in his league...yet.

 

Anyways just thought Id point that out after you gave them a hard time. You crapped on the Cross Examination for not being critical enough. Hell, I like looking at the good in things and giving it the well deserved credit (Something I saw lacked in OCW). You can keep doing your Wonder Report and try being controversial, Ill give credit where credit is due rather than putting people down. Yeah its constructive critisism I agree on that, but you stick me in there doing that also, then thats just being harsh. Ill stick to my style you do yours. Not everything needs to be negative.

Only on page 3 and this is the best ppv i have seen since i been here in ocw...and for the record, i HATE fighting Chino..i Hate it.

AA's intro is fucking awesome...can't believe he's on OCW now, this will be interesting,i marked..hard.

Hell of a PPV, damn. Kudos to Bauer for both title matches. They were very enjoyable matches to watch, for both of them, I was on the edge of my seat.

 

And Smythe, tbh, my CAW is only 6'0 lol.

Aries, Stax, O'Gea, Martin are rooks that have played in an SVR system before so they have a but of hindsight... those two don`t... they`re kinda like me when I started out... worse but kinda like me... Bold just kills them both... I`ll hold how I feel about it to spare your feelings I guess...

 

and I wish the Cross examination is really how you feel about the show... not "everything`s great, you all did a good job" your doing like a recap as opposed to a review... I wanna know what you like and what you dislike...

I see what you're saying about the TV Title match Smythe and I did expect that reaction but it was at 1-1 and I felt we both deserved a tie-breaker and I personally needed closure on the whole situation.

 

Also Smythe turning on Nate who seen that coming? Nice to know the Sensational Alliance (Inner Cirlce + Smythe) is coming along nicely. I did mark for the unmasaking part though.

 

In all I liked the show but soon the Sensational Alliance will be ever heel in the company, I don't see the point especially since some members are just padding it out and some are only really used for the promo side of things.

 

Also Brad did good in his title matches, despite being a choke artist he made them fun to watch.
