Let's not turn this thread into something it's not.... Perhaps some show discussion? Review coming today.

Jookie Marley has just been released from prison
Vincent Valmont replied to Jookie Marley's topic in Promo Room!
I marked just because I like when rooks come in and dont talk about this or that or someone else or titles or how good they are. I like the ones who come in wanting to develop their wrestler without being generic. Keep up the effort. -
Just had to correct that one sentence.

can we take this thread, show serious?

Once again you're wrong, but it's ok. Atleast you'll get to see me win another title. -

A Sensational Tribute 2009 Card
Vincent Valmont replied to Alex Robinson's topic in The Daily Suplex
Yeah it does. For example, it would be horrible to hurt an old man... or would it? -

I'll help and join the chat during the segments. -
First thing I'm going to say is that I'm pushing for a 'whole video' OCW show. It can be done, and should atleast be given a fair try. I know it'll limit some things, but I want to see creativity be put to the limits, but onto the PPV. Commentary was at it's best tonight, which is even more of a reason to get a show done completly video. So it's our first anything since our last Riot show back on October 2nd, and like I've said it did it's job for kicking off the 2010 season in the right direction. So I only have one question... when's our next show? Chapter 1: Starting off "Certified Greatness" is none other than the man whos hosting this event, Mr. Bentley. It was nothing too long, and made it's point. Can't kick off the ppv without Mr. Bently getting the first words in. Iceberg Le'Tuce vs The Miz... err I mean Hazard - 2/5 First thing I must say... smackdown arena? I like the look for Le'Tuce, although he sorta reminds me of myself when I used to rock the suspenders. Music fits, the entrance, and the attire fits as well. As for Hazard I would like to suggest changing the music. It just doesn't feel right. Onto the match, and the show opener for a ppv is a manager view? If you want to keep that hoss moveset then go to the gym, Le'Tuce. Moonwalking... tyler... moonwalking... tyler... tyler... moonwalking... well you get the picture by now. Also if you get hit with a strike first, don't try to grapple, and cause another tyler. We're at the 10:00 minute mark where the match so far is even. Both going back, and forth. I agree the Matt Hardy legdrop fits, Hazard. I didn't like how that sig was executed. Does anyone know that you can still toe kick to setup sigs, and fins? Instead of the constant quick grapple setups. Also I don't know about that punch as a finisher for Le'Tuce. Simple because he doesn't look like a hoss, but has a hoss moveset, and I can't see him knocking someone out bigger than him with a punch. 2 stars out of 5 due to the tylers, moonwalking, and those movesets. Chapter 2: Next up we have Chris Ryder coming to the ring. Wasn't you retired? However, I applaud you for going back to your theme from the CCW days. That reason along kept me interested enough to sit through Ryder's face change. Let's see how this plays out as he faces Chris Baxter later tonight. K.D vs Jacob Trance - 2.5/5 Before I get started, K.D has Kang's old theme. It doesn't really bother me, but the theme is still fresh in my head from when Kang used it, but gotta admit that K.D looks better this year. I know someone mentioned that Trance should have attire of the night, and I agree, but this ppv is far from over. Onto the match, and it's another manager view? I agree that german suplex by Trance on K.D was a bit too much. As I watch this match I will admit that atleast these two picked their movesets to fit their characters. For the most part, Trance controlled this entire match. I marked for that flying moonsault. After watching these first two matches, it looks like I'll be taking out my running STO. I'm assuming that neither of you was red in body limb dmg as I didn't see any limping, but I don't know the ruling on that this year as I assume it doesn't matter, but I'm still not going to end my matches unless I see my opponent limping first. 3 stars out of 5. Nothing specatcular, but props for the movesets not sucking, and limiting the tylers. Chapter 3: As much as it pains me to say this, but our OCW Champ is here... Leonheart is seen arriving in a rent-a-limo. I see why that 'bitch' is mean all the time. She looks like Kip Conrads twin brother. I liked the video. I liked it so much that I think only champions, staff, and maybe main event can use certain story designs. Next we cut backstage to the Bloodline lockeroom. Dorien decides to insult K.D after his loss. Baxter doesn't take it too kind to heart, but K.D plays it off calm, and tells Baxter to await for the arrival of their leader, Lil' Wonder. Soon after we see the frustration build from K.D as he begins attacking Dorien. It looks like Bloodline won't be needing the services of Dorien Arnaud anymore. Parker vs Carlos Cruz - 3/5 Just the other day when I was browsing through story designer I said to myself that coming from underneath the ring would fit Parker, and I guess I was right. Personally I think Parker should've played his theme during that brief promo after the attack, but no big deal. It seems that sneak attack fired up the mexican as he started off the match in control, which is hard to do against Parker. This was a hardcore match, but I didn't see any blood. Not too many tylers, and not much moonwalking so props to both men. It didn't take too long before Parker got some type of offensive onslaught, and he does. I also saw, and mark for that Macho Man taunt by Parker. Cruz tries to fight back, and is even the first one to grab a weapon, but that eventually would spell disaster for OCW's mexican as it's never a smart thing to have weapons inside a ring with Parker Stevens... trust me. IOverall the match is the best so far, and deserves to get 3 stars out of 5. Would be 3.5, but not much weapon usage as I would've expected a murdering inside the ring with the return of Parker Stevens. Chapter 4: We have the first altercation backstage of the night between two wrestlers. Very well-written RP. It seems Chris Baxter doesn't believe Ryder, and in which Ryder flips the table, and makes Baxter admit that after all this time he wasn't never a real pirate. Match should be interesting to see with the little buildup it has. Hands down the RP of the night so far goes to Bloom, and Bently. We've learned news that Mr. Bently has a special announcement to make. Is he going to retire again? Is it good news, bad news... who knows? Just gotta keep watching. It's nice to see The Air making an appearence, but it looks like he's not alone. Chapter 5: It looks like OCW's Thrill Seeker makes his return in an unhappy mood. Believing he should've been booked for the show opener of 2010, and even further goes onto telling the fans that he doesn't need them anymore. Does this mean we'll be seeing a new, and improved Judas Hallows? Only time will tell. Another backstage promo video from Leonheart. This time Leon, and Alex are getting interviewed briefly by Stacey Clark. Stacey tried to get a reasoning behind the two pairing up, but Stacy doesn't get the answer she was hoping for. Next we learn that someone attacked Sean Strider in the parking lot before he could even get inside. A piece of paper? Who's going to make 2, and who's behind this? Continue watching, and maybe you'll know. Here comes Ryder again, and this time it seems that he will be needing a new opponent for tonight. Who better to accept than the unpredictable, Wesley Adams Poe. I like the new look for Poe for 2010. Only thing that bugged me about this was it should've ended with Poe's music, not Ryders. Chapter 6: We learn that "The Monster" Mayhem is at ringside for the ppv event. Will he jump over that barricade, and unleash hell? Who is his next target? Why is he sitting at ringside? I assume these questions will be answered sooner or later. Feel sorry for the poor bastard that has to find out. More buildup comes from Trevor McManus for the no holds barred match tonight against me. Right back at ya, Trevor, all I gotta say. Chris Ryder vs Poe - 3/5By this time I'm already tired of hearing Saliva. It's nice to see Poe keep 'Hole in the earth' as his theme. Very nice attire. Definitely up there with Trance for attire of the night. I hear voices in my head... they come to me, they understand, and they're in the match. Was actually enjoyable to hear the reaction from the two. It seems Ryder brings back his old attire to go with the old theme, not too bad of an idea. Another match with a manager view. Poe starts limpin with head damage only after 9 minutes into the match. It's only a matter of time before Ryder finishes him, right? Wrong! Aside from the length being way too long for a singles match, the match itself was good. Both movesets also fit each wrestlers. Poe remained calm, and didn't panic. He kept himself in this by fighting back. The close pinfalls were nice, but this match should've never reached 25 plus minutes. 3 stars for the great match, movesets, Ryder going back to his CCW days, Poe with the interesting attire, and the limit of tylers, but I deducted a whole point just due to the fact that match went on for as long as it did. Chapter 7: It appears that after 25 plus minutes of Ryder vs Poe we're still be treated to more from the two, but this time things get interesting as Poe just snaps after losing, and unleashes a hard hitting arsenal of moves. We'll see how things play themselves out between these two because I think these two will be interesting. My only negative thing about this was the fact that once again Ryder's theme plays for how many times now? Poe's theme should've atleast ended the video since he was the one doing the attacking. More carnage erupts as we cut backstage. It appears whoever took out Strider also took out Chris Baxter, but why? It got me interested so far. Smythe D. Wonder vs Seth Irving - 3.5/5I'm glad Smythe kept the "epic" theme, in which same thing could be said for Irving's theme too. I didn't like the hud names above their heads. Kinda distracting, but nothing to complain about. Match was pretty much as close as you can get in a match. I also applaud as both movesets fit. Irving begins limpin first after that deadly ddt off on the ropes from off the apron, but shortly after the momentum changes a bit, and Irving gets the upperhand which eventually leads to a hard hitting signature move from Irving, and the finish. 3.5 stars out of 5 for the close match, movesets, themes, and for having probably the best fpr match of the night so far. Chapter 8: Just when I thought Bently sealed the deal for RP of the night, he goes and one ups his previous RP. The NA American title makes it's return, and I'm marking, but will the return be permanent? Trevor vs Valmont - No comment. Chapter 9: A strong RP delivered from Leonheart. He breaks down basically what has happened over the course of this year. Dating all the way back since End Games where I whooped that ass. Classic Leon RP. Better than his previous rps earlier in the night. Let's see if Leon can back up that mouth, and survive R.D Money, but I wouldn't be too happy even if you win because I want my title back! Leonheart vs R.D Money - I will not be spoiling this match. It's the main event, and it deserves to be watched. Not read. I will say I was surprised that ??? returned. OCW is heating up very quickly into 2010. Props for everyone that was involved in the main event, and made it what it was.

Stacey: I'm sorry for the inconvenience that my camera crew is giving you. We should be almost ready to go for this interview, Mr. Valmont. Valmont: I would hope so... I have alot to get off my chest. So let's get this rollin. The camera fades to show Stacey Clark, and Vincent Valmont both sitting across from each other on stools inside an empty ring. Vincent dressed in an all black suit, shades, and rolex. The camera crew finishes up their work as they give the signal that everything is ready as Stacey nods. Stacey: I appreciate you accepting my request for an interview that will air at OCWFED.NET, and after several failed attempts at reaching you for comment since the last time you appeared on Riot, but may I ask why are we inside an empty Riot arena, inside this empty ring, and here in the Neverlands of all places on a Friday morning? An intimidating stare is given by Vincent towards Stacey, making her feel uneasy as it shows in her facial expression before releasing his trademark devilish smirk of his. Valmont: This isn't just any empty arena, or empty ring.... this is also the same exact ring where I was screwed out of my OCW World Title by Leonheart, and that bitch, Alex Robinson. Your probably asking yourself, but why here, Vincent? Why keep dwelling on the past instead of moving toward the future... well you can't have a future without having a past, and let me tell you something... I could sit here right now, across from you, and be satisfied with my title on my shoulder, but instead I learned a valuable lesson. Stacey: A valuable lesson? Valmont: I learned that being a 'hero' gets you exactly nowhere in this business. Other than these confused fans, and yes I mean it when I say confused, and i'll explain why... besides getting cheered it doesn't take you places. The fans don't control the bookings for OCW, nor do they pay my bills, take care of my family, and certainly they don't give you OCW World title shots... instead these fans cheer you when your on the top, but they'll let you fade away when you fall to the bottom. Stacey: Could it be because of the controversial ways you've taken to reach the top this year? Valmont: Controversial? Name one hall of famer that hasn't done anything 'controversial'. These same hall of famers that have done more controversial moments in OCW history, but if any of those hall of famers returned today they'll just get cheered. Stacey: Maybe so, but they're hall of famers, these fans know this, and they pay respect by cheering for them. Valmont: Where's my respect, damnit!? I'm one of the most underrated, unappreciated, hated on, and underestimated wrestlers to step foot inside an OCW ring. Not my choice, but by default. Big part of that is because at Wrestlution 4 I did what was needed to be done. It was nothing personal against The Steve, but let's face it... no OCW hall of famer is going to let someone beneath them climb the ladder so instead I decided to start climbing whether OCW was ready or not. Stacey: That 'climbing' was screwing Leonheart out of his OCW title at End Games, but one could only find this ironic that just a few months later, Leonheart screws yourself, and takes back the title. Valmont: Difference between that is I cashed in my FI so my reason was valid, but I can't say that I was surprised by what happened. Me and Leon are two sides of the same coin. So I actually blame myself for not seeing it coming, but there's always a silver lining to things... after I was screwed out of my title I took time away on vacation to gather my thoughts, and find out who Vincent Valmont really is, and I'm here today to tell you that I finally have fount him because... 2010 will mark the dawn of a new era of things to come for OCW. If you thought I ended 2008 with a bang, and acted 'controversial' this year then you people haven't gotten a clue of what's to come. Stacey: I can't say I like the sound of that, but 2010 does mark an interesting year for OCW. What will your fans think of this 'new dawning'? Valmont: Some will still cheer I suppose, others will hate it. Doesn't really matter to me. All that matters now is me... me... me. I dont care anymore about trying to earn you people's respect, and the OCW roster's respect. You'll see... they will all see soon enough. People seemed to forget my past, but no worries because my new 'unremorseful' behavior is the direct result of the fans turning their back on me. Stacey: I don't know if thats entirely true about the fans, but If you don't mind, Vincent, I do have a few more questions to ask you before we can wrap this interview up. Valmont: {sighs} Go ahead. Stacey: OCW has a ppv coming up this sunday, "Certified Greatness". What are your thoughts about having to face Trevor McManus 1on1 in a no holds barred match? It's no secret that both of you have a deep hatred for the other that has been spawning back since you won that title off Leonheart at End Games. Valmont: I want to make this perfectly clear... if it wasn't for me, Trevor wouldn't know what main event tastes like. If I'm not mistaken back in January I was originally scheduled to face Leoneart for the OCW World Title, and I EARNED that title shot for the year I had in 2008, but the night before I was attacked by Leonheart... so who ends up taking my place because of that? None other than Trevor himself. Let's fast foward this several months down the road... End Games is here, I became world champion, but a certain someone doesn't like seeing me with the gold around my waist. Perhaps it's because he couldn't win it himself after given a chance? Or could it be because he thinks End Games should have been him, and not me because the fact he couldn't participate in the 2009 FI Ladder match at Wrestlution 4, but instead I sneaked in, and I won it. Stacey: Well I'm sure he has a different story to tell, but what can you predict that we'll see from this match? Valmont: I can't really believe staff booked this match, and will allow me to use weapons against Trevor? Either someone doesn't like Trevor as much as I, or they really like their ratings. Let's not forget who has more experience in hardcore matches... I'm not a two time hardcore champion for nothing... People tend to forget Black Sunday... i'll let that slide, but what I won't let slide anymore is these fools thinking they can continue bad mouthing me, and not get dealt with. I said 2010 will mark the dawn of a new era, and it starts at "Certified Greatness". Stacey: I see... well I'm sure that the match will be the most anticipated match at the ppv, and will not disappoint, but let's switch subjects. Since all of this talk about the dawn of a new era for 2010, and OCW. Does this mean that we could possibly see the record for longest reigning champ held by Chris Mania, get broken? Valmont: Anythings possible, but if anything Mania should be thanking me I took the title off Leon's hands at End Games, or Mania would have nothing left to 'milk'. Stacey: Very interesting, but you didn't answer my question. Valmont: Technically I did answer your question, but to elaborate some more I guess I can't see anyone other than myself breaking the record because 2010 will be about me... Vincent Valmont. 2008 was my year that I rised, 2009 I further rose, and 2010 I will continue rising until you either see me with a HOF plaque, or a third world title riegn to my credit. Whichever comes first, but both is inevitable. I damn sure don't see Chris Mania giving me a cfc to stop me anytime soon. Just think of Vincent Valmont like the spider... this ring is my web, and this 'lackluster' of a roster will be the prey. Once inside the web, there's no escaping. Stacey: I guess we'll see if your right about that, but for now I have more questions. What do you think about the current situation of the International Title being vacated? Valmont: It's tragic because I never got to prove you critics wrong against F---{stacey interrupts} Stacey: I'm sorry, but we're not allowed to speak of that name. Valmont: ....Why? Stacey: Orders handed down from the General manager. Valmont: Well bottom line... I see a perfect opportunity that needs to be seized. However, my eyes are set on one thing, and one thing only. I'll get my rematch for the world title eventually, but until then I wouldn't mind adding more gold to my legacy. Stacey: I do agree with the International Title being vacated it opens so many doors, and a big chance for people to step up. Time can only tell who will step up for that International Title, but I'm afraid this is all the time we have for our interview. I can safely say this interview was rather interesting, and goodluck at the ppv. Valmont: Only luck I'll be needing is whether or not I'll be suspended after the violent message I will be delivering this Sunday. Hell, after this ppv they might just have to make a whole new tv rating because of what I'll do to prove my point to start off the new 2010 season in Valmont fashion. Camera fades.

Interesting...

I never liked the chinlock. :( Nice idea, Jay. Interested to see more of these.
-
I haven't commented on the new rules yet, but I have a bad feeling about how 'loose' the rules have become. Just my 2 cents. I like the new rules and direction OCW is taking towards matches for 2010, but just a bad feeling that I can't picture this roster comprehending the common sense for some of these new rules. Hopefully I'm wrong.
-
I think OCW rankings for the active roster needs to be updated for the 2010 season.
-
Upper-mid? You was mid-card at Black Sunday. :)
-
Although, I agree with most of what Smythe viewed his opinions on, but... Unfortunately, I'll have to strongly disagree with this statement, and anyone who thinks this. ^^^

How does it feel to be Aries little bitch, Trance? Like I told you over aim, your stupidity is hilarious. Because this quote ^^^ is exactly what's fucking wrong with OCW, and why we don't have a Riot this week. The game isn't to blame. We survived 08 so please tell me why we can't with 09? OCF isn't to blame, besides taking some members, OCF itself isn't what's killing OCW. Now, I normally hate flaming, and bitching in OCW, especially when it's in the thread for Riot, but I'm tired of the same ol' bullshit being spilt from most of yall's mouths every day, every week, every month that passes. Now I'm partially ranting, but I'm also trying to send a message to all of you that is active, and hopefully doesn't fly over your heads. I mean seriously. We didn't have September 2 Remember ppv, and I wonder why? Now please correct me if I'm wrong, but I post a picture about laziness. Why? Because some of you aren't worth the time it takes to write this shit, and give out explanations to in text. Is there a single proof of evidence that picture was directed to Aries illness or the tag match? Who cares if that's what yall been blabbing about over these last several posts. One tag match isn't the whole damn Riot show. I'm sure there was more pms sent to other people. Now on the record, I know all about migraines, in fact everytime you kids whine, and cry it gives me a migraine, but in no way was I being rude towards Aries, but Mania is right with his comment. Answer me this, OCW. All of you can find time to waste threads with useless comments, bitching, and flaming or even waste energy in that damn shoutbox, but can hardly produce any discussion for a single show each week? Fucking million dollar question I just laid on you fools. Please don't mistaken this for me saying that none of you do any work, but why complain about OCW dying and OCW is in trouble when mostly some of you need to point the finger at yourselves. Blah Blah Blah...OCF this, OCF that. Why do OCW people continue blaming OCF when some of you are in OCF? I'm a prick? Well let me be a prick because someone needs to slap some sense into you ungrateful bitches. Now I'm not talking about everyone because OCW actually has some people who care, and don't waste OCW's time, and they know who they're. For most you know me within OCW knows I'm not a real prick. Bottom line is OCW is what you make it. So if you want to continue making it a shell of it's former self then go ahead, but if you people really want OCW back to it's feet then do something about it. RL comes first as always, but I know damn well RL didn't hit everyone this week, and thus unless given a reasonable excuse, laziness is to blame for no Riot.

[ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VyyK3XiWtPk&feature=related]YouTube - SOiL - Redefine[/ame] The scene fades outside of a beautiful Los Angeles, California home. It's a sunny Tuesday Morning. People mowing their lawns, dogs barking, and bird's chirping can be heard in the background. http://i27.photobucket.com/albums/c156/Code-X2/2009130211-1.jpg Three cameramen are outside in the driveway. One of the cameramen appears to already have his camera recording. Cameraman #1: What are we supposed to be doing again? Cameraman #2: Just relax, kid. This isn't rocket science. Cameraman #3: We're just doing a simple pre-recorded segment with OCW's champion to be sent to ocwfed.net, twenty-four hours from now. Cameraman #1: So what are we waiting on? The second cameraman receives a call on his cell phone, briefly talking as he eventually hangs up. Cameraman #2: Looks like we just got the order to come inside the home, and set everything up. Cameraman #3: Let's go, kid. All three cameraman begin walking with their cameras set, and ready to record. All three enter the house, and is quickly greeted by Vincent Valmont, who comes downstairs, and is dressed in a black wifebeater, gym shorts, black shades, Rolex, socks, house slippers, and his OCW World Title. Vincent sits down on his leather couch, and motions to the cameramen to set up everything. All three cameramen begin setting up the cameras inside the living room. Cameraman #2: Everything is set whenever you're ready, Vincent. The cameramen finish setting everything up as they leave the house. Valmont: Before we get started... Vincent lays his title across the table, and takes off his shades as he reveals a 5 o'clock shadow starting to grow. All three cameras are set, and recording in three different angles. Vincent takes a drink from his water bottle. Valmont: That's much better... First of all, if Guy Fausto wanted my attention, he's going to get it at Riot this friday. Delivering a cutter to me was the worst mistake that Guy Fausto has made so far. He think he's two steps ahead of the curve on everyone, including me, but that's going to be his achilles heel. When he decided to interrupt in my match I knew it was nothing more, but desperation. Why else would he feel the need to give me a cutter in a pointless match? Am I going to get my revenge? Ohh yes, but sweet taste of revenge will come with a victory. Guy is probably thinking right now he's got momentum heading into our title match because of recent weeks, and has me frustrated, but the only thing Guy has is false hope. It's this same false hope that led him to his first loss against Aries, and it'll also be his downfall against me this Friday on Riot. Some say that even though we both have been OCW World Champion twice, but they say that I'm still not in his league. However, a two time world champion or not, Guy Fausto hasn't been in a title match like this before. He's never fought anyone that made their career off overcoming the odds, the obstacles, doubts, and criticism. He's never fought anyone who has the whole world against him on their back because once again I'll be an underdog in my own title match. Vincent holds his OCW title in front of the cameras. Valmont: I know what a lot of you're saying, 'talk is cheap', but I guarantee that at Riot I'll be cashing in. Because it's been 56 days since I made good on my promise to win back my OCW World title, and it's been 156 days since this chip on my shoulder was created back at End Games when I cashed my FI, and won my title for the first time. So if Guy Fausto wants this title... he's going have to fight through hell to get it because I'm willing to do the exact same. Some will argue that Guy has everything to gain, and nothing to lose, but they couldn't be more wrong. Guy Fausto does have everything to lose. Although, with a loss he'll still walk out the International Champion, but Fausto's pride will be on the line. He's already lost to someone who I beat at Summercide, and when I successfully defend this title on Riot... everyone, and including Guy himself will truly know that I deserve this, I'm better, and I'm the champion that OCW needs right now. Vincent continues holding the OCW title in front of the cameras as they begin to fade.

Only you would actually think this. Of course I didn't mean the actual comment made, but it's the fact that I just don't take you seriously, not just the joke. So how about instead of acting like a bitch on these threads, be more productive because your lucky your still here. How come everyone can have pages and pages of talking about useless ranting basically every week, but can't have pages and pages of productive show discussion?
-
I would take this serious, but it's coming from you.
-
Well to speak on my behalf. I'm face. There's history between me and Poe so any whining you think was going on really wasn't. Plus the history is violent so I'm not going to be a 'nice guy in my rps towards Poe' or anyone for that matter due to I'm the face with a chip on his shoulder. Nobody thought I would beat Aries and nobody is thinking I will beat Fausto. I'll have a review coming soon for Riot.
