  1. Valmont's Vision Another edition of Turmoil, with more empty show discussion. How hard is it to write a nice little paragraph of what you enjoyed, or didn't like. Let your voice be heard, for the sake of OCW! With that being said, for the hundreth time. Turmoil was enjoyable this week, some very nice matches, and some nice twists. It's amazing how I can give two full depth reviews in one day....although it doesn't hurt to already had one of them written. :) I better see more people commenting on shows, or I will go heel once more! Page 1- To start off Turmoil, is the returning, and injured Regan. Since we care so much for our beloved GM, I-Gen pays him a little visit. Kavito vs Ryder 3/5- I'm predicting that someone didn't get Kavito's intro music? I marked for the small cameo at ringside from Tyron Biggs, the friendly neighborhood crackhead! I hate manager views! :( This match reminded us that Kavito does have some in-ring skills. It seemed during the whole match that Ryder felt he was going to win before the match even ended. A nice small comeback made by Kavito near the end of the match. Good performances for both wrestlers, and definitely the winner. O.D lays the truth down flat in a brief interview. Page 2- Revenge? What could a old GM, and scary emo have in store for I-Gen? I cut myself a fine, small RP, if I do say so myself! Hardcore Tour #1 - Vincent vs KD - I never comment on my matches, but I give props to KD. He played strong, I had to get aggressive in this match, especially near the end. Small advice, find a better intro song. Too much cussing, and really doesn't fit the character. Try rick ross, if you want "current" rap. A-Mart is on his redemption hunt for Irviing. Will he get what he's searching for? Page 3- I-Gen keeps keeping it real backstage with a nice promo. Vega vs Knox 3.5/5- Vega...please lay off the creatine, or pills. It's nice to see Knox back in action. I havn't heard that beginning song of this match in a long time. Eh, the match was enjoyable, and entertaining. I liked all the close pinfalls from Vega, kept it realistic. Match was pretty cut dry even, I thought Vega had the upperhand a few times, and was going to seal it in the end, but I was surprised. Congrats to both ex-wrestlers. A-Mart's hunt continues... Page 4- I digged the Bloodline RP. Glad to see more of these flowing around. I think Wesley is right, someone should've managed him in his match. I wonder how many pucca pies did Samoa tease Malu with to return, and leave OCW? I wonder who Smythe will replace Malu with for his tag titles? Wesley vs O.D 4/5- Ex Title Match - I can't stress enough on how much I enjoyed this match. Near the end I thought Wesley was going to finally become a champ, but he didn't jump at the chances he had in his face to land a fin. Omega played strong, even though he was red first, he still kept calm and showed why he's the ex-champ. Personally I want a rematch between these two in the near future. Every match these two put on are golden, and congrats to the winner. The ending didn't bother me because i'm sure omega didn't want to get another 4 fins reversed. Congrats to Wesley, that was your match, and it's nice to see you devloping. A-Mart contines his hunt, but this time he gets a bit more aggressive. It seems Irving pissed off the wrong returning superstar this time. Keep up the build up. Page 5- ME - Steve vs Kang - INT Title - Another Kang/Steve match. I was surprised to see Kang get red first, as Kang has been on a hot streak lately. Steve is far from a pushover, so I can understand why red first. I would've liked to see a bit more emotion in the match, perhaps stayed outside the ring a little longer, or more spot? What seemed to be a match going in Steve's favor, Kang started to pull the match back in his favor near the end, as he played typical Kang style with his combos and quick offensive. I was surprised at the ending, but not shocked. Props to both for their strong performances. Is this the revenge they was talking about? Damn Regan, and damn Leon. I-Gen will surely not fall to Leon's booking! Although it was a nice twist to end the show. Page 6- .....there is no page 6! :(
  2. Valmont's Vision Show discussion is all I ask folks...With that being said, this was a great edition of Riot. Everyone put in a good effort, and I can appreciate that. Page 1- We are kicking off Riot with Leon...the wrestler version of Peter Parker. He drops a nice interesting heel promo for the first time since his turn to the dark side. Trance vs Zombie Porter 3.5/5- Nice efforts from Porter with the intro, and attire. Although he looked like the human version of Knuckles from sonic. The beginning song of this match made me cringe, and wish to be deaf. I lol'ed at Trance running at first sight of Porter in the beginning. This match had plenty of offensive attacks, it was aggressive, fast paced, and I saw plenty of reversals. In the end the match did it's job in keeping me entertained. Didn't predict the winner to grab the victory, but this will help him in getting prepared for his ppv match. What does Tyro think he's doing? Page 2- I-Gen lays the smackdown on the mic towards our haters! Aries vs Kip 4/5- Let me be frank for a second. That intro really doesn't fit your character, Aries, or your look. What's with the Manson song. One person using it is enough. How about you and Trance just fight for usage of the Manson? Anyway, this match got potential with Aries being a reversing machine, and always comes at you with a nice arsenal of combos, similiar to others around here. Kip has been silent with that Pride title, and I wish for him to do something with it. Start doing open challenges for the title, get into a feud, or anything. Kip, your character is golden, use it! As for the match, I had to saw WOW at Aries for his performance in this match. But also don't forget about Kip for starting off his match on fire. Congrats to both wrestlers for their match, and the winner. It's nice to see someone new RP....keep it up. It's also nice to see Bloodline keep themselves alive with their own RP, and seperate from anybody else. I wish to see more of these RPs. Judas vs EX-division...who will win? Small, and nice promo from those crazy Dragon fellas. Page 3- Is Aries using Leon, or is Leon using Aries? Either way, their plan will fail, as I-Gen will not be defeated. BD vs OD 3.5/5- Looks like someone made a one night stand apperance, or shall I say attire change? Looks like the dragon's are fighting each other for the sure hell of it, and why not? They're dragons! What I don't understand is that why would Omega go through all that fighting, and pain in this match when he has the "Wonderful" Wesley in a title match on the next Turmoil. Just saying that the match made things a bit unrealistic, but not taking anything away, the match was impressive. It just seemed that where was a bit much of overdoing it in this match with the weapons, since it was a tables match. I didn't expect to see who got put through the table at the ending, but this is another match that kept me entertained. Congrats to the winner, and the loser. Go to sleep? I sure did while watching that music video. A-mart and Irving gets into a brief altercation, that ends in a way that A-mart probally wasnt expecting. It's nice to see Death Row working as a team again. Causing chaos, and giving people hell. Only thing that bugged me is that blimp view of the action for the ramp in the beginning. Give props for A-mart trying to hold his own, but Death Row is too strong of a team to fight alone. I wonder if Martin will find himself a partner? I give Tyro huge props for his RP. Although the vids was too long, and I didn't watch them fully, it still was a treat. Very smoothing for a halloween edition of Riot. The RP made me feel like I was either reading a good suspense book, or watching a good suspense movie. I liked the ending, and wonder what it's leading to. Page 4- Looks like Aries kept his promise, as once was offered from the angry emo earlier. Kang should've seen it coming, or at least fight back....tinkerbell! Trips vs Smythe 3.5/5- Looks like we get to see another Trips vs Smythe match. Pretty straight even, although Smythe kicked up the momentum a little and started to pull away, but Trips was too defensive and kept himself in the match. The match was nothing to go crazy about, but it was nothing to complain about. Both playing well, and that's all that matters. Congrats to the winner.. Interesting, and long, very heelish promo from the frustrated german. Also nice new intro music for Ryder. I dugg the RP, but I would have to agree that you're overdoing it, just a tad bit with the long RPs. You're doing a good job with them, but perhaps try to cut the length of them down. Page 5- Gaines comes down to the ring, and lays down a message, a warning...Leon, get prepared. I Marked for Tyro with his video RP, considering the timing the of this video RP, I expect Gaines was standing in the ring saying to himself, what the hell? I-Gen vs Leon&VFM - I won't comment too much on my own match, but I had fun. It was a bitch to get everyone on track to do the match, but it was done so I won't complain. Props for Gaines stepping up, and being a good partner. I hope everyone enjoys this match as much as I did wrestling in it. Page 6- The infamous page 6 re-appears! OCW Champ, Mr.Sensation along with VFM, and Leon strolls down to the ring to cut a promo to end the show. But what they didn't know was that Nate can't stay gone. With a unexpecting twist, I won't spoil, but it looks like Nate won't be going anywhere. Good job on the writing for the RP, I really liked the emotion pouring from Nate's RP.

  4. Valmont's Vision Wow @ Turmoil. With this show I would expect more discussion. I know my fellow I-Gen members are not in a good mood, and I can't wait for Riot. Page 1- Kicking off the show is Jaysin Sensation. Basic promo from the boss, as he makes some very interesting matches for next week's Turmoil. Kip vs Mace 3.5/5- Blue and Black doesn't fit Kip, wrong colors. :) What's with the manager view? Two different style of fighting we got here. Mace being the aggressor like always, and Kip has more of a balanced attack and defend style. I was surprised both was red for as long as they was. Neither was wanting to lose, and it showed. I lol'ed at the no sell to the boot Mace's. If he didn't taunt he would've gotten the 3 count. Nice ending to the match, I got to see some blood. Overall I enjoyed this match, would've been better if not manager view, but congrats to the winner, and nice performances from both men. Nice small promo from the dragon's, showing good chemistry between the two. I-Gen promo...enuff' said! Page 2- Nice detailed promo from The Steve. I wonder what him and Smythe have planned to mess up their match? Vega vs Omega 3.5/5- This already been said, but Vega either go heavy or slim down. :) This was a very entertaining match, as I-Gen knew it was going to be. I think Vega deserves a title shot, soon. Only problem I saw with this match, where's the ladder? Other than that I only saw a few things that I would nit pick about. Nice performances from both, and congrats to the winner. Trance confronts Omega after the match, and declares himself the un-crowned Ex-Champ. I got my money on Omega. Interesting RP from Kang, and others. What's Aries got up his sleeve? Page 3- Very nice RP from Ryder. Best one i've read from him in a while. It really felt like a 90s era promo that you saw from WWF. Looking forward to more from Ryder, keep it up. Parker vs Valmont 5 - I won't comment much on this match. Aside from I had fun fighting Parker for the 5th time, and I'm sure this won't be the last match between me and him. 18-1 is what I predict. :) Very emotional, and well written promo between Bloodline and I-Gen. I liked the ending, although we only let you do that because it wasn't our office. :) Page 4- Another nice promo from Ryder, backstage. I-Gen vs Bloodline 4/5- Eh, should've been Kang and Aries vs Bloodline, but oh well. How many people use the mvp intro? Doesn't really fit Aries too well, imho. No Intro from the Steve? What the hell Kang, what's with the pink attire? Did you try to bleach your clothes? The match started off in the favor of Aries and Kang. It seemed Smythe was a step behind Aries, perhaps it was the aggressive play of Aries that caught Smythe off guard. Both men tag, and we get to see a preview from the ppv, and from the rematch that's going to take place next week on turmoil. Sadly I couldn't stop scratching my head at the pink, rather than enjoy the fight of Kang and Steve. Nice Double team move from BL, that's what Kang gets for wearing pink. The match got really hot, and interesting near the end. That should've been a save at the end, but damn SVR. I marked for the end, didn't see it coming. Congrats to the winning team. Page 5- Now I think Ryder was over killing the promos for the show. I like them, but I think it was good at 2. Either way this promo was nice, and thought out like the others was. ME - Jay vs Mr.Montpellier - I don't much else to say, but wtf...wtf....wtf.
  5. I meant by it's nice to see you RP. And yes history can repeat itself, Steve. :)
  6. I was only questioning the pin attempt. I wasn't saying he would actually try to land the 3 count.
  7. I know my eyes are not playing tricks on me because I saw him pin attempt after an STO. I wasn't referring to him actually getting a 1, 2, 3 count. It doesn't really bother me much. I was only questioning it.
  8. A Vision: By Vinnie V It's sad to see no show discussion again. I understand it's near the end of the year. New games, holidays, and 2k9, but seriously. It's ok to comment on the shows, it's what the cool kids are doing now! Anyway, Turmoil was solid this week. I loved the ME, and there was some nice promos. Once again my apology about the tag match. Page 1- Starting off the show is the GM himself, Regan. He confronts the arriving I-Gen members, and informs Leon that he's got his hands full tonight against Malu and Regan in a 2on1. Will Leon survive? KD vs ??? 3/5- I marked for KD's oppenant. Nice to see him back in the ring. Looks like ring rust doesn't have any effect on the returning wrestler. I swear KD looks like a tatted version of Bob Sapp. This match looked over when the bell rung. Congrats to the W in a squash match, apparently. Nice short, and simple promo from the man who really does hear voices inside his head, Carlos Cruz. Page 2- I don't know if this was meant to be, or if there was scheduling problems, but I really would've liked to have seen A-Mart vs Parker in a HC match. Parker vs ??? 3/5- HC title -Looks like Braddock replaces A-Mart. I was actually expecting someone more major to step up 1on1 against Parker. I think a Parker/Valmont 5 needs to be made. Anyway the match went as expected, solid performances. Braddock did his best to fight off Parker, but it was just inevitable for him. This match was over for a while, I was surprised it lasted longer than it needed to. Never let Parker have a chair in a HC match, NEVER! That's Hardcore 1o1. A pin after a STO? Congrats to the winner. Some small altercation backstage between Trips and Ryder. It seems Ryder got something planned, but what is it? Page 3- I-Gen is in full power, and Leon stop being such a emo, you just need to trust us. :) Ryder w/Trips vs Trance 3/5- Should've kept the Manson song, Trance. The camera angle, and no music during the match killed it for me, luckily my mp3 player was charged. Match looked a bit laggy. I was expecting this to be put away earlier by Ryder. For Trips being at ringside, I was hoping he would've done something big during the match. Props for the small attempt at a ending. Should've done a bit more, as a wheel kick isn't quite believable to knock someone out. Just my opinion. Page 4- I liked the little altercation among Tyro and Mace. It's nice to see Mace rping. What does Mace mean when he says that he holds all the cards? Hopefully we'll see further between these two. Regan will regret banning I-Gen from the arena. Page 5- Brilliant RP from Nate. Does a good job on the buildup from his point of view. Hopefully this won't be Nate's last match, and what will Smythe have to respond with at Riot this week? I'm expecting this match to steal the show at Devil's Night. Leon vs Malu/Regan 3.5/5- Props for Leon trying to fight a 2on1 with Malu being involved. Very good back and forth action between Malu and Leon, although Malu was looking a step ahead again. I laughed at the subtitles. Of course you had to see the ending coming. :) Those security guards doesn't want nothing to do with I-Gen, not to mention Regan who felt the wrath of I-Gen. That's a way you end a show, with I-Gen in full effect.
  9. Indeed I'm not known for no showing. In fact I think I've never no showed a match. My apologies to everyone in the tag match, especially Kang, and I-Gen. :( Making a long story short, and not giving excuses. To say this in the most simple way I know...RL > OCW. Not to mention, DSL Modem problems causing me to be without any internet access between earlier today, and from monday which is why I didn't submit the match. I had no way of contacting Kang, telling him to submit the match instead or to inform him of any problems. Once again I would like to say sorry.
  10. A Vision: By Vinnie V Turmoil was solid. There was a few matches that I liked. I have a feeling that Turmoil didn't go the way that the gms, and staff was hoping for? Page 1- We start off the show with Regan and Aries. I laughed at the note. Regan should've made Aries still compete, but I wonder who's replacing him? Trance vs Donny T vs Kavito 3.5/5- Before I get to the match. Trance has been growing on me lately, which makes me a sad panda. I don't know why Kavito's theme was funny? I fount it as a excuse to go take a quick piss, but I see why it took place. Although he's annoying, but you gotta mark for Donny T. As for the match, someone is a smart guy to choose Orton's theme to start off a match. :) The match started off with Kavito and Trance going at it, as Trance got Kavito yellow real quickly. When Kavito first tylered I didn't see neither of them back off, watch out for that. I love that little girly slap that Donny does, not so much for Trance. One of the main rules for 3-ways is just have fun, and not try so hard to impress in the match. How the hell can yall go from Orton's theme to that garbage that was after it? I feel sorry for Kavito being a lHVY, he was getting tossed around. A few targetting problems, and more tylering problems. Nobody really decided to back off and restart when targetting a new person. For a rookie 3-way, the match wasn't disappointing. Just saw a few minor things that bothered me that I made points about. Congrats to the winner. More of Kavito and KD? Page 2- Nice small RP from Ryder. I wonder who the hooded man was? /sarcasm. Cruz vs ??? 3.5/5- I wonder who's that masked wrestler is? /roll eyes....Either way this match was solid 1on1 action. Alot of good moves, I saw that both wrestlers used too many strikes to setup a grapple. Usually 2 or 3 are good enough. This match was split even until that masked wrestler turned up a extra gear near the end and pulled away, although Cruz didn't disappoint me. The ending to this match was awesome, and can't wait to see what comes from it. Nice interview from the returning A-Mart. Page 3- Trance just laid down some knowledge on Trips. Will he use it? I-Gen vs Death Row 3.5/5- I love Death Row's intro, very creative. This match confused the hell out of me. Wasn't Death Row supposed to look like I-Gen? Solid tag team action. I was impressed at Death Row because they've been silent, almost. I saw this match had lag. Sorry my fellow I-Gener's, but yall need muscle to fight Death Row, and I was nowhere in sight. I love the little finish at the end, I thought for a second that his fin was going to stop blinking, but he got it off the reversal and it looked painful. Congrats to the winning team, well deserved. Tension among I-Gen? Will this have any effect on Riot? Page 4- I loved Smythe's RP. Who's the mystery man? Parker vs The Steve 4/5- I kept laughing the whole time at Parker in that attire of his, and with the hair. Looked like a cross dressing mime from hell. I expected this match to be down to the wire, both getting alot of offense in, and the match didn't disappoint. Both was red for a while, I was wondering when this match was going to end. It was a tug of war, going back and forth until someone got that clean second it needed to hit their fin. Both men was impressive, and gave great performances, but congrats to the winner. Luckily for him this wasn't a HC match, imho.
  11. Nice stuff so far. Currently writing a review as we speak, but the matches are loading really slow for me as well.
  12. *Scene begins to fade inside a empty Riot arena. Lightly dimmed throughout the whole building. We see Jim Black sitting down on a stool inside the empty ring, along with a few camera men. He keeps looking at his watch, and then looking around the arena. Shortly after, "Redefine" by Soil hits the PA speakers, and out walks Vincent Valmont. Jim looks at Vincent with confusion as Vincent makes his way down the ramp, and slides into the ring. Dressed in his usual street clothes, and a water bottle and shades in tact* Jim: Well, it's about time. Valmont: Patience my good fella, patience. You got questions, and I got those answers. You already know the whole routine. Jim: Yes I do, Vincent. I know today is Monday, and this is a pre-taped interview prior to Turmoil, but may I ask why we're here in Cincinnati, Ohio and in the empty Riot arena, and ring? *Vincent starts to smirk. Jim stares at him, as he can't tell his facial expression due to the shades on his face. Vincent takes a sip from his water bottle, and clears his throat* Valmont: You should know me alot better than this, Jimmie. This is a ring, correct? *Vincent gives Jim a arrogant look, as he nods in frustration* Valmont: This is my sanctuary. Vincent Valmont and a ring goes together like Parker Stevens and his face paint, or Kip Konrad and his dresses, and also his slurpies. They're inseparateable. This week's Riot promises to be another kick ass edition. Probally better than the 4th year anniversary show from last week, and do you want to know why? *Jim shrugs, and nods* Valmont: Because I-Gen will be in full effect, and I-- Jim: Let's talk about I-Gen shall we? How about-- *Vincent takes off his shades, and stares down Jim* Valmont: Lay off the red bull, Jimmie and please don't ever interrupt my sentences again! Wings won't save you from a ass whoopin. *Vincent takes another sip of his water, as he continues to stare at Jim, before finally putting back on his shades* Valmont: If you want to take about I-Gen, be my guest. Jim: As proceeding, when I mentioned I-Gen. What do you guys think of this 3-way match that was made by VFM, and The Steve to set you, Deano, and Kang James in a match to determine the #1 contender for The Steve's title? Valmont: Well you're only getting what I think, because I can't answer for the other two, but what I will say is that I will stop at nothing and hurt anyone, and I do mean anyone to get back into the spotlight. I can't stress this enough on how much I want to end Steve's reign as INT Champion, and put him in his place. Jim: So you're not at all worried about whether this will effect I-Gen backstage or not? There has to be some sort of jealousy or rivalary going on that might cause drama in the faction? *Vincent looks a bit annoyed, as he sighs, and shakes his head* Valmont: How about we stray away from all these negative questions about I-Gen, and get serious for a moment. I-Gen will forever be around, no matter what druggie, or rapper, or even a suit wearing stoner says. Jim: Well we havn't even cracked a dent into Turmoil, but considering what will be going down on Riot, I think Turmoil discussion will still be ok. As for now, what if you don't win the 3way match for #1 contendership? Valmont: I won't lose, I can't lose. OCW needs Vincent Valmont. They need a champion, these fans need a champion. The new block of kids on this roster of OCW's just doesn't understand yet. I don't have not one drop of blood that I won't sacrifice in order to get another 1on1 with the Steve, but since I'm answering your questions I guess there's always a face painting champ, or a cross dressing champ that is just begging to be defeated. OCW, Jay, VFM... I know you'll see this interview, so open them ears. No matter what happens on Riot this week, Vincent Valmont will be in your face. I'm a contender, I'm a champion...it's only a matter of time! Jim: Well I thankyou for this interesting interview, but this is all the time we have. We'll get another one with you shortly following Riot, and good luck. *As Jim Black leaves the ring, the camera men fade the shot on Vincent Valmont just standing in the ring, looking around the empty seats* [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1OtHs83hU2M]YouTube - Soil - Redefine[/ame]
  13. Jay obviously didn't like art class back in hichschool...
  14. Whatever you say, Jean-Claude.
  15. At least my underwear is clean! :D
  16. Jay shits his pants...priceless.
  17. A Vision: By Vincent Valmont The return of the Vision Review...some very nice stuff on this week's Riot. Page 1- We kick off Riot with I-Gen. They address a few things for the night, and it looks like they're ready to play....and i'm not 50! Nice work on the intro. Trance and Carlos are backstage. Hopefully Trance can protect our worried little mexican from the angry german. Page 2- A upset Evan Knox comes to the ring, and cuts a promo. He does a "Valmont" and plays against the crowd. Knox makes it clear he hate seeing a white rapper hold on to the ex-title, and that if only he was in that ladder match, things might've went different. Sadly for Knox, VFM....I mean LFM? What the hell is the emo on tonight? Anyway, LFM comes to interrupt him. It was nice to hear KottonMouth Kings again, but it isn't the same with a emo coming out to it. :) Looks like Knox will be put into a match made by LFM. I wonder what VFM has to say about this? Irving comes to the ring, next. He tries to explain his actions from S2R, and what went down between himself and what was thought of a return of the monster himself, Mayhem. What else does Irving have up his sleeve, especially after burying Mayhem alive? It seems everyone loves coming to the ring in front of the crowd....Smythe Da Wonder makes his way to the ring. He also tries to explain his actions from Turmoil, when he did the most unthinkable and attacked the daughter of Mr.Sensation aka the wife of Nate Ortiz. I'm sure Jaysin might not mind this, but Nate Ortiz might have something to say about this? Surprisingly, Nate doesn't come out to get a piece of SDW. Instead it's.....Spoonman. Nice impromtu match being setup here, as CFC vs SDW tonight. Page 3- Carlos and Trance are chilling backstage, some more. Cruz still being the paranoid mexican that he is. Aries comes knocking at the lockeroom door, and makes himself at home. What does these 3 have planned? Evan Knox vs "Wonderful" Wesley 4/5 - This match started off pretty even. Both only getting offensive off reversals, which there was alot of. Nice style points for the annoying lil' Smythe. Some nice markouts in this match, and close pinfalls. Why does everyone use britney spears in their matches these days? Props to the fin reversals by both Knox and Wesley. This match was down to the bone. Even though Wesley had this match tooken early, Knox made a small comeback and gotten Wesley red first. I won't spoil the winner, but congrats on the hard fought W. Both of these wrestlers deserve a future shot at the ex-title, imho. We cut backstage to the I-Gen lockeroom between Leon...LFM, and Gaines. It seems Gaines is finally getting this whole being a manager thing down, and has books to guide him. Sadly LFM doesn't have a book to guide himself from depression. Nice RP guys, interested to see who LFM goes up against tonight. Chris Mania vs Smythe Da Wonder 3.5/5 - Props to Smythe in his intro. The little slow motions was markworthy. A pretty offensive match from both wrestlers. Both was relentless on attacking. Not many reversals in this match which I was surprised with. Then something I predicted earlier in the show finally happens, as a "certain" someone comes to interrupt and costing the match. I won't spoil it, but I marked. Good work on the ending, I want to see more between these two as the plot thickens more. Page 4- Another promo cut backstage between Aries, Trance, and Carlos. After having a small business talk, Aries leaves. Trance, and Carlos are about to leave for the night as Trance tells one of the only officers around to secure Carlos while he goes to the car to put the luggage away. Sadly what Carlos predicted, and Trance didn't see coming. Ryder turns out to the the officer in disguise as he gets his revenge on Carlos, a little too late for Trance on the save. Parker vs Omega - Hardcore Championship 3.5/5 - I never said this yet in my reviews, but I like the new attire of Parker's and his intro. Both of these wrestlers have been on a hot streak lately, and both coming off hard fought maches from the PPV. We'll see if Omega being LHVY will have any effect on a hardcore heavyweight in a hardcore title match? Parker started off strong, landing combos and being aggressive...and why wouldn't he? He loses, he's fired! Just like a Parker match, a guitar has to be busted in pieces. For a hardcore match it only gets interesting when weapons comes into play, and so once this match went outside it went into another level. Nice addition with the ladder, kinda disappointed it didn't get used more and that table didn't get broken into. But nice peformance from both men and congrats to the winner on his hard fought W. Just like a nice promo from the attitude era, Nate Ortiz doesn't take no garbage from fat average joe securtiy guards as he beats them down, and continue to try and track down Smythe who is on the run. Kang vs Aries 3.5/5- What was seemed to be booked between Kang and MMM doesn't happen. Instead Aries comes to the ring in replace of MMM, it would've been better with a intro from Aries. Another nice impromtu match between 2 guys with similiar style of fighting. Alot of striking and reversals in this match. Some nice fin reversals in this match too. I would've expected more storyline being put into this match, and the ending was nice. Is this the beginning of something worse for Aries? Page 5- Main Event - ??? vs ??? - Impressive match between two champions who are also coming off impressive victorys from the PPV. Both of these men are also on hot streaks. Match was down to the wire with a great bunch of reversals. I can honestly say I wasn't surprised at who won this match. I think what hurt the loser of this match was that he targeted the body too much early in this match, and it led to him getting red first, but props to him for playing strong and fighting off a relentless offensive attack. I lol'ed at the botched running grapple which lead to a arm drag, and a powerbomb outside the ring. Wished I would've seen a chair shot, but then I marked for the ending. I havn't seen that kick in a while. Page 6- The infamous Page 6 if you want to call it, or the finale. If you have seen the ending to the main event then the ending to Riot is no surprise. Mr. Jaysin Sensation himself cuts a promo. Sensation lets I-Gen know that him and VFM are smarter than them. Jaysin takes his stabs at the members of I-Gen, and announces a few matches for the Anniversary special on Riot next week. Earlier in the show I-Gen said they're ready to play, but Jaysin says that play time is over. Nice ending to a very nice storyline driven Riot.
  18. Very nice on some of these changes, and seeing OCW continue to grow. If donations is needed, count me in this time. I'll be looking forward to seeing who's ranked where from the last rankings, and the new server.
  19. Vincent Valmont thinks people just need to shut the hell up about the cards, and show support that the shows no matter who's booked or how many matches we have, that it will come out good enough. Shows aren't getting the exposure they deserve because lack of comments, not lack of quality in the shows.
  20. *Obi-Wan Voice* This is not the card you're looking for.
  21. Here's a great RP for you. Short, and simple. ;) *Vincent starts clapping his hands for such an amazing achievement such as quoted up above this post* Valmont: ......... *Vincent stops clapping, and starts to think with a confused look upon his face* Valmont: Why the hell am I clapping my hands for? *Vincent shakes his head, and mutters something before going back to his normal day activities* Valmont: Damn kids these days....Makin' me want to go back to heel!!
  22.
  23. A Vision: By Vinnie V This week's Riot edition was solid. Good RPs, and matches. The very emotional 9-11-08 happens to fall on Riot. My review probally won't be up to par or have anything on the Madness Report, but it's a effort. Wish I would've done a review sooner, but RL sucks... Page 1- 7 years ago 9-11 occured. Very tragic event. I remember I was in math class in 6th grade, and my whole class was in a middle of a test. We stopped what we was doing and every TV in that school had it turned on the news. It really doesn't feel like it's been 7 years. The video was very well done, and like Morrison said it was kinda hard to fully watch. Jay says go dirka dirka fuck yourself to the rest of the world that hates us. Looks like Bloodline is breaking Wesley into the group. The RP started to get better as it moved along. VFM makes a cameo in the RP with Bloodline, and from there it got interesting. VFM lays down the law on Bloodline, announcing some very solid matches for the PPV. Finale vs Judas 3.5/5- Like Morrison said, Britney Spears? Should've just got the instrumental of it, at least. Judas looked real strong in the beginning. He was one step ahead on pretty much anything Val was trying to do. Although give props on a small comeback from Val, he hung in there despite being red first. I think the turning point for Judas taking over the match was after the botch cross body to the outside of the ring. From that point Judas was all over Val on the outside, delivering damage. I was real surprised that these 2 didn't get into the ex-title picture, but with certain reasons these two will get their chance I'm sure. Good job on the fin reversal by Judas. Congrats to the winner, well deserved W. The RP between Kip and Bauer was nice. Kip actually did a pretty nice favor, Black Dragon isn't the worst masked wrestler. So when I saw that Bauer picked Thanatos for Kip, I had gotten a big smile. After the Black Dragon pick, I wasn't expecting the Big Red Retard. If anything this tag match is going to be.....interesting. Another problem arises in I-Gen. This time with the OCW Champ, Leon. Kang and Aries make a point about Leon not putting in a 100 percent team effort compared to Aries and Kang. Aries really gets in a few good lines, followed by Kang. I wonder what Leon has gotta do to prove to I-Gen that he's loyal? I don't know if the new music really fits you or your intro, Carlos. Who knows, maybe it will grow on me? I doubt it, but we'll see. It looks like mind games are being playing againa round here and on Carlos. Obviously someone doesn't like Mexicans around here, and hopefully at September 2 Remember we'll find out who that mystery person is. Seth vs Smythe 3.5/5- I agree on the fact that Seth intro music kicks ass. Works well for him being a face, heel, or tweener. That's why his intro is one of my top 5 favorites among OCW right now, it's got alot of emotion in it to fit the character. Smythe's intro is another favorite, his intro music is starting to become infamous in OCW but in a good way. When that OutKast song begun to play it seemed Smythe kicked it into another gear and was going all out on Seth. I marked at Seth kicking out before 1 on Smythe's pin attempt. Seth couldn't get much momentum going and I think that's what lead to the results of this match. Congrats to the winner, he really played impressive. Nice RP between Guy and Tiff. Really dug out the ending to this RP. I'm expecting to see more of these 3, and I wonder what VFM has in store for them? Page 3- Looks like Trips and Aries are coming to the aid of VFM or really had no choice in the saying. Bad news for Ryder. Ryder vs Trips/Aries 3.5/5- Looks like we're going back to the time where we saw Ryder in handicap matches, oh the memories. With 2on1s it's not usually the question of whos going to win, the question is only when will it end? At least there was some good music to kick off this 2on1. It looked laggy, and/or choppy. Never count out Ryder in handicap matches, btw. The yellow on Trips, all I had to saw was shocking. Stick to dark colors, imho. I laughed when Trips just stood and looked at Ryder trying to attempt a missle dropkick it seemed like, then attack and made him botch it. Not much tagging from Trips and Aries. Ryder played impressive, but it was the numbers game for him that hurt. Ryder seems to get the last laugh....or does he? Interesting outcome for after the match....whoever attacked Ryder is scrawny and needs to gain muscle. :) Looks like the attack on Ryder was all to get at Carlos for him not leaving. Damn...I wouldn't want to be friends with a mexican, if i'm going to get my ass kicked for it. WTF Aries? Attacking fans these days? It's cool as I got a nice laugh out of it. I wonder what it leads to? Also Morrison was right, it felt out of place. Smythe and Wesley get some more family time together. Looks like Smythe is trying to make Wesley his protege. Stevie....Stevie...Stevie. What more can I say? I mark for your intro, but damnit. A low blow? C'mon man, that really hurt! Leon tries to show VFM that he means business, but Mr. Montpellier seems not to be intimidated easily. Page 4- Looks like Cooper has may finally come out of the closet.. Kang tries to set Aries straight about attacking the people that pay money to watch us wrestle. For some gut feeling I don't think Aries fully understood. Kang vs KD 3/5- KD...not being rude but please...please pick 1 damn theme and stick with it! I never fully noticed this, but damn KD has a beer gut. You never let Kang get momentum and pound you with strikes after strikes. It's half his offense, and the better half. Believe me, I know by experience. Kang uses alot of setups and combos when he goes on the offensive attack. Another like Morrison said, you gotta be good at all aspect of the game not just reversing simple minded grapples that any dumbass can reverse basically. Damn 2k8....but this was basically Kang sending a message with a squash. I enjoyed the video after the match. Mania and Kang brawl for a bit, before Mania finally ends it. What will Kang have to say about this? Knox vs ??? 4/5- I'm pretty sure by now, most of you know who the contender is and the end results, but I don't care. I'll still make this bitch seem mysterious without spoiling. When I first heard ????'s music I marked because I been wondering when will he get his chance at the title again. This was a very good match between 2 great performers in the ring. Don't know who to root for...Knox the champ or Parker the guy who was the whole hardcore division at one point in the past. I liked the little commercial break during the match, nice idea, but god damnit....it had to be that type of commercial. Thank god I heard some Cry Little Sister after that terrifying commercial break. I marked for the missle dropkick off the lader that sent Parker flying off the turnbuckle. I was expecting more mayhem from Parker, but he still gave a fair share of it. Knox played real impressive for being lHVY in a hardcore match against a HC stylisty HVY. Not that there was any doubt on Knox beating Parker, but there wasn't any surprise if he was to have lost. Congrats to the W, may this title run be as good as last one. A short lived interview for the OCW champ as Mace interrupts. OCW title match tonight. Mace vs Leon, very interesting indeed. Mace is on a hot streak and has already beaten Leon once before, but Leon is the OCW champ for a reason. Deano marks his territory, as he's returning. Nice hype vid. Page 5- Looks like VFM is giving Parker another chance. It comes at a price though. If Parker loses, he's FIRED! Bauer/Dragon vs Kip/Thanatos 3/5- The 4 different style of wrestlers in this match, especially Thanatos made this match fun and interesting to watch. Pretty solid tag match, nothing really standing out fully. I liked the end results, Bauer and Kip brawling and having to be seperated even though they was still in a tag match. I wonder if Kip was thinking before he decided to put his title on the line next week against Bauer? That's a bold move. Very good hype leading to the PPV for the #1 contenders to the OCW title. Nice verbal war between Trips and Smythe that only got more interesting when VFM came out to spoil what looked like to be a triple threat. It seems VFM has a plan up his sleeve for the OCW title, but what will it be? Page 6- Mace vs Leon 4/5 - This was a solid 1on1 main event. I was surprised at the way this match played out. With Mace being on a hot streak lately, I thought he would definitely have put up a better fight or even dominate a little bit. I was wrong, as Leon was the aggressor and proved why he's the OCW champ. Mace's reversing kept him in the game and allowed him to get Leon red, but in the end it didn't matter. I knew I was going to hear a emo song in this match, near the end. Nice setup from reversing the outside spot into the flying cross body. I thought that once the pain animation kicked in after the arm drag that Mace was going to stay in this match longer, but for some reason Mace looked like he was out of energy as he didnt fight harder to keep Leon from finally hitting a fin. Congrats to the winner, nicely played main event by both men. Don't count Mace out yet, this is his only lost in quite a while. How beautiful? Air getting married....his life is now completly over. I marked for the interrupt by Cooper. You kinda had a feeling he was going to come out, from earlier. See what happens already? Air gets married and is already hurt. Nice ending vid for Riot...Edward Norton is the fucking man! Great movie.
  24. Here's some facts of life for not just you...lil kip, but majority of the people around here. I don't usually rant, and I'm not trying to throw my 2 cents in this to look cool, as I'm already cool and don't need to pretend. Further more, I blame AA for this rant. He woke my damn ass up, that bastard! :( 1. People either watch the shows, and are lazy to comment or pretend to watch the shows and comment or do neither and just read damn reviews, then comment. Can't make people comment or even watch the shows, and you wouldn't or shouldn't have to. It's up to all of you bastards and you know who I'm talking about, to actually step up and add something aside from pointless replys, and talking in that damn shoutbox. 2. People actually have a life outside of OCW with actual RL problems, and it's hard for them to comment on shows or even watch them. 3. Rooks are on the bottom of the motherfuckin foodchain for a reason, especially the cocky sob's. 4. Vets have a little more say in shit that goes down for OCW, especially vets that paved the way for some of you assholes to come here. As for them not commenting, go see above comment #2. 5. The Steve is The Steve...can't really further explain this. 6. This is really the important one....Vincent Valmont says that he could care less for you emo fags, with your whining about this or that or him or her. Alot of people complain about shit, but I only see a group that actually do something. Most of the vets are helping out in other ways so don't think by them not commenting on shows and just replying on threads that they're lazy fucks. I'm not sticking up for nobody, and I'm not usually the one to rant, but everybody needs to just take the cock's out of their asses and grow up. OCW is a community to some, a job to others, a family to many, and all of the above to several. So stop fuckin ruining the damn fun for others! Damn kids these days with your MTV.....
  25. Not sticking up for nobody because quite frankly, The Steve can defend himself. But there's no point in trying to get a zing off something so small as a simple sentence.
