This was me:
" Bold skirts the rules, and hides his high damage moves by creating combos that cause significantly higher damage then someone who's playing straight up."
" Rampaging early on just to cut off someone elses perk is pretty shitty since it's pretty much a one way street."
Here's my example match: (just first 3/4 of the match, different things happen in different matches, but you deserve my reasoning.)
Bold/AMart - Riot - 5/15
First moves by you:
Fury punch 1, try for ground grapple (reversed) -only problem is you're first set of moves includes a ground grapple. He's fresh, he's gonna get up quick.
2 quick grapple combo: fury punch, back club (= 16 dmg) ground grapple attempt (reversed more possible dmg, +20 at that point)
kick out of a grapple (your grapple), then do the 3 strike move followed up by 2 ground stomps. What's the damage on that?
Moonwalking a bit.
You reverse a move, run/stop, ground grapple attempt (landed)- did you really need to get that damage? You already landed a reversal move.
I've seen like 4 ground grapples landed and at least 7 attempts, and it's not even halfway through the match, try taunting a bit more if you're getting bored.
Rampaged reasonably early, when AMart was yellow head only, kind of early in the match, not necessary and unrealistic.
In rampage moves: (dmg not too high, but there's more to my logic)
Taker arm wrench - 12
Ground grapple - head grab n throw probably a 10 or so.
So 22 unblockable dmg points because apparently you reversed his grapple, and for some reason, got enraged. Remember, we're trying to make these matches interesting and a bit realistic. Getting angry for accomplishing a reversal makes no sense, save it til you get up from a big move later on in the match.
You grapple when you're almost on the other side of the ring. Wouldn't be a problem if you weren't build like a Cadillac. So you grapple, and if they're even 1 ft. off the ropes, you're getting them. Once again, not breaking the rules, but more a 'awww, come on...seriously? You're gonna sit over there and do that?" thing and something your opponents should be aware of.
My basic thing is, I like to keep my matches realistic. I also, try to save some of my moves for later on during the match, instead of landing each of my 4 quick grapples 80 times over the course of a 10 min match. I'm saying, you're a big guy, you have damaging moves, not just your standing grapples. There's no need to combo up that much damage when you can reverse as well as you do.
