I see Pugh as sitting somewhere between a high flyer and a traditional mat wrestler - almost in the AJ Styles role of being able to do both. The high flying is a throwback to a former Pugh (Who weighed less than 200lbs and was a cruiserweight), and I'm interested to see if people think i should change it up. High flyers (also losing streaks) don't get higher up the card, so maybe it's something to look at

Realised I missed the BIG MAIN EVENT by just navigating through the sidebar. What a tit

Just be pleased they're talking about you

I miss Jeff Hardy Haz :(
-
I'm being constructive Haz! You'd look better if you got rid of those shorts and replaced them with something cool looking
-
Somebody better get a review done, I'm eager to see what everyone thought of the show

Quick Thoughts: The Ex-Title seems to be possessed by the angry ghost of Jacob Trance Chinstrap Beards still aren't cool Hostile looks awesome - but I think Hazard needs to go for a refreshed look! The Battle Royal had some excellent spots though. Hostile selling his new finisher by targetting limbs was genuinely exciting to watch. KD's entrance has a hint of Undertaker's hat haunting it... Like other's have said, he needs a better attire - I'm thinking Black Nash.... also think Dane sould go with the shaved head look - could look awesome. Good show altogether - I'll watch all of the matches later, but RP wise it was solid. Good Job everyone Pugh can still draw a crowd ;)

Lets all just agree I'm not going to wear a silly mask, nor am I going to get addicted to roids.

November 27 - By Corey Taylor of InsideWrestling English pro Wrestler Paul "The Ego" Pugh has gone AWOL from OWL (Osaka Wrestling League). Former OCW performer Paul Pugh has apparently quit his job at the Japanese Promotion OWL (Osaka Wrestling League) following his Junior Heavyweight Championship match in last night's "Super Brawl Wrestling Show" event in Osaka, Japan. Pugh defeated Miro Yamashita for the gold via a Pinfall at 18:52, after hitting his "Fishermans Pughplex" finishing maneuver, but immediately began acting strangely. Sources inside the Osaka Dome say that during the customary round of applause (usually given after a particularly strong match) Pugh was seen to threaten an official, before continuing his celebration. Normally after an OWL match, the competitors are required to shake hands, something which Pugh failed to do in this instance. It's claimed that he threw the title onto the floor, a huge act of disrespect in Japan, before taking a microphone and telling the 17,000 strong audience that he was "Done with Japan". It's then claimed that he insulted the fans in English before walking out of the arena - failing to fulfill his contractual obligated post match interview. It's alleged that later that evening, Pugh was seen boarding a flight to New York's JFK Airport, although this cannot be confirmed at this time. Performing under the moniker "The Ego" for the better part of two years, it had been thought that Pugh had put his previous problems behind him before this latest incident. Earlier in his career he was fired from Gamers Championship Wrestling after an altercation with several of the promotions top stars, before arriving in CCW, later moving to OCW where he went on to make a handful of appearances before being released. It's thought that his contract was to expire at the end of December, and that he had no intention of renewing it - apparently he was hoping to return to the USA and try his luck back in OCW - who are coincidentally based in New York City. When contacted, OCW's owner Mr Sensation was unavailable for comment on the matter. Update: Anthony Walker has sent over the footage from the end of last night's OWL event

Still, I feel a stamina based technique system is preferable to a MASH MASH MASH system. Keep that shit in track and field
-
I can mash a button, I'm just saying, a controlled technique based system makes it fair for everyone, not just the guy who can mash like a motherfucker
-
Now Now Ladies. We can all agree Hazard is a faggot. The matter at hand, I basically trashed a lot of it, but one suggestion i threw into the ring was the EA MMA's style of submission, where you're controlling your own stamina at the same time as trying to make them tap. Fucked? then you have less time in the hold, giving your opponent an easier time of getting out. You have to play EA MMA to see how it works, but its a simple system that works pretty well. It also offers more "Fairness value" than Mashing a button

The scene opens in a small pub in a Manchester suburb. The landlord heads over to the bell mounted on the wall, ringing it as she wails incoherently, signalling last orders. The camera pans along the bar, catching several desperate has-beens finishing their drinks. Perched on the end of the bar a familiar face catches the camera man’s eye. He moves closer. Cameraman: Pugh? Where’ve you been mate? They told me you’d be in Hyde at Hatton’s Gym. Why are you back here? The familiar figure continues staring into his empty scotch glass, taking no notice of the cameraman. Cameraman: Dan. Dan! I know you can hear me. Get up, get in the car. We’re on a tight schedule here Pugh continues looking down at the bar. His appearance has altered dramatically since he last wrestled in OCW. His hair is bleached, he is noticeably heavier, and he is sporting a full beard. The cameraman is beginning to lose his patience, and heads over to the bell on the wall. He rings it, again, failing to shake Pugh to action Pugh: Where did it go wrong Tony? I mean, seriously? Cameraman: What are you talking about? They’ve renewed your contract; you’re a wrestler again... Pugh: I’m not a wrestler; I’m a joke... 4 years of this, and I’m still a joke... Why should I put myself through it again? The Cameraman sighs, and puts his arm round Pugh Cameraman: Dan, mate, you’re in the shape of your life. You’ve been working your arse off for this, and they’ve offered you the chance. Don’t blow it again because you haven’t got the bollocks to try. Pugh: Listen lad... *Pugh gets off the stool and looks at Tony the cameraman* you think this reverse psychology shite is going to work on me? Look at me; I’m 230lbs of solid muscle, I could snap you in two without breaking a sweat... It’s not a crisis of confidence you Neanderthal, it’s a crisis of respect. You know, I spoke to the big guy... Cameraman: Sensation? Pugh: The very same... You know what he called me? Rookie... He called me a Rookie... Pugh suddenly puts his “game face” on and begins to talk into the camera Pugh: Now I’ve been called some things in my life... Fat, Gay, Racist, Flake, Snowball, Mutt, Ginger, so on annnnnd so forth, but one thing I’ve never been is rookie... Pugh looks into the camera Pugh: So Sensation.... I’m going to storm into New York City, I’m going to grab Ambition by the bollocks, and make you eat your words! The Classic is coming to Madison Square Garden baby, and he’s going to steal that show! Pugh stares into the camera as a drunk Mancunian man walks into shot, chanting a merry song Pugh: You’ll cut it before he walks in rig.... The camera cuts off mid sentence...

It's in good company on that list of "Things Hazard doesn't get" then. You're not a GM, so you should STFU and get on with your own business. You should publish that list BTW, you'd make millions

I'd like to extend my best wishes The Steve's way. Happy Birthday.... Wherever you are!

That's all i was saying. Geo being a hardass was cool, because he ran his show with an iron fist, but we still had two other shows where people could wrestle. That meant 12 or so matches a week, instead of 4/5, so in my mind, bookings should follow a more rigid "Who is working with who" system, as opposed to the current system. Either that, or make Riot a bigger show.
-
But surely when Trance get's stomped into the ring, he'll return next week with no sign of injury, because that would affect his own agenda. I'm all for Leon's authority, but continuity dictates that, unless Trance walks outta the ring and loses by count out, he would take a beating, and be forced to sell his injury by missing shows. IN the olden days, when we had 5 shows, sure, no problem, but because there is only one show, it means that bookings are more important for feuds, and it feels like the handicap match is squashing other people's chances at continuing their's. Like I said, just an opinion. Free speech and what not.
-
If its a 1 on 3, he hasn't got a hope in hell. If its a tag, then maybe. @ Leon, I still think its a pointless booking, regardless of what Trance has or hasn't done. It's not helpful for Trance's feud / Leon Army feud, and just seems like a waste of a spot, when we've got people dying to get booked
-
I'd like to Weigh in here too on that Trance match. As much as Geomon did it back in the day, there are plenty of guys who want to be booked, and this just seems a bit petty. I always remember being told to keep board stuff away from my character, therefore just because Trance has upset you, Matt, the person, doesn't mean he's had any interaction with Leonheart, the Character. Seems a silly booking imo. My 2 cents
