Jay when me and you feuded you told me you wanted to Main Event a Lution... And we did it... But I was also top 3 on the sticks in 2011... I've never had a title opportunity that I didn't win... But that's how I like it...

 

Also Parker you can't call the rooks low carders... They put in content every week and they show up and they're winning matches... That North American title is for them... That's how we find out who the next Main eventers are...

Are you delusional? Of course they are low carders , they are ROOKIES..which means for the first year, they are low carders, doesn't matter

if they win or not , the NA title isn't for ROOKIES , unless you get the odd exception that wins EVERY week and puts in content.

 

A ROOKIE should be nowhere near the NA title...that's essentially what the Hardcore title is for..you want to add a higher title than that, then bring back the Pride title.

 

At a push..a PUSH, Xander and Tre are on the cusp on midcard , and thats a big push, but Tre went radio silent after the shitfest with Arnaud.

 

You don't find out 'who the next Main Eventer are' by putting a title on someone who's been here like 4 month [see Turmoil and Kass]

So, I'm gonna speak for a couple of legends here that returned, and why we returned. Now, please understand that i'm not speaking for everyone, just for myself and Majin. Life is a cycle of bullshit, ups and downs, and insanity. Before I returned, I spoke with Majin, Nate and Steve, to see where their heads were at. I considered a return for 'Lution only like I was some fucking hall of famer or something to get a pop, but wouldn't you know it, my schedule, Majin's schedule, Steve's schedule (and shit, Nate's been doing this since some of y'all were collecting pokemons, so he don't count) but our schedule's opened up, and gave us a window to participate in OCW, and fully commit to doing so.

 

As far as titles go, I think sometimes you catch the breaks, sometimes you don't. I personally came back, because I wanted to put together a fun, entertaining feud, title or no title, and I feel like Majin and Steve (and Nate) are of a similar mindset.

 

This is very similar to a conversation that's been had in OCW since Danny Williams had sold all of his stuff IRL on a TV show because he was broke (shoutout to 2006), everyone wants their comeuppance, everyone wants to be the man. The way I've always seen this happen is to provide quality entertainment, get rewarded with quality opportunities.

 

Smythe, you been active for 100 years, shit, you wrestled in OCW when the people were getting syphilis on the Oregon Trail. And you're damn good to. Problem is, when people were getting syphilis on the O.T. you were too busy complaining about how "oh, look at Zeke. How come he didn't get syphilis like the rest of my fam did? This syphilis is bullshit, and there's a syphilis conspiracy!"

 

Take a step back man, just enjoy this shit for what it is, or keep writing RP's that match your attitude and what you write in the comment section, then ask again in 2 months why you're being held back, again.

 

As for my character, I plan on entertaining the balls off this fucking place. If I get a title along the way, hooray for me, if not, who the fuck cares? The greatest thing I can hear as an OCW'er, efed guy, is "That was one of the funniest RP's I've ever read" or "That shit had me dying" or something of the ilk.

Nathan, you know I apologized profusely for my feud with you, and it was like I told you in pms, you literally got me at the worst possible time. And unfortunately for you, when it comes to playing fake fake wrestling, real fake wrestling and my family comes first. That being said, I offered you a title shot at Lution, basically offering you the featured spot on the card you seem to be complaining about but you stopped messaging me back. Don't get me wrong, I really don't care, just thought it should known.

 

And tbqh, b, if you couldn't beat Spider using an unfamiliar move set after I told him to put you over, you probably shouldn't have been there in the first place boo boo.

 

But that's neither here nor there. When it comes to Majin bro didn't even want the title shot. The match up sold itself on name alone, but I insisted--mostly because I'm still hoping someone will freaking take it off me. And frankly, I'm glad Nathan never messaged me back because as many of you who have been here for more than three months know, this is the match I've wanted for years. Would I have liked a bit more build up? Sure. But ten years from now people won't remember how much build the match had, they'll be talking about the match itself on one of the best Lution cards in history.

At the end of the day, I blame Jay and his participation trophy era for the drama in this thread. BACK IN MUH DAY rookies didn't get Lution matches and it was only by sheer determination and excellent story telling that got me and Tibby from a show that no one watched to a featured match on the biggest show of the year.

 

Stop whining and git gud. It's fake fake wrestling, if you need validation here you must not be very over irl brother.

Agree a 100%! I'll even go ahead & say this, what were doing now is WAY completely different than what was originally planned. But schedules opened up & more time became available so we came up with an even better story/angle. Which everyone should just wait to see what unfolds.

 

I didn't return for a title. Didn't ask for one. I didn't ask for the match with matsuda & I didn't ask for the title to be on the line. In fact, I said I didn't want the title to be on the line, but was told the match would t happen any other way out of respect for the majin character. So was I supposed to say no? He respects me enough to put it on the line, I respect him enough to accept. So yeah. Bitch & complain about that for awhile.
