I haven't posted on OCW in a while, but I watched this show along with Summercide, and I figured I'd leave my thoughts on what I've seen with this weeks "broadcast" Etc.
So following what was a stand-out pay pew view this year for OCW (Sumemrcide), Riot show cased some interesting after-math discussions throughout the evening. With TGS (The Genetic Superiors), Revolution Inc.'s reformation and Chris Baxter joining Bloodline 2.0 (Which to me, is confusing, and not just normal confusing, Dave Mustaine re-joining Metallica confusing) to name a few off the top of my head.
Now from the get go, this show had a lot of potential, to explain a a few things.
What do Revolution Inc. have planned for OCW?
How did Josiah Cross and Smythe DaWonder get together?
Why the hell did Chris Baxter join Bloodline 2.0? Seriously??? (Just picking on ya' Baxter, relax)
All questions seemed to be answered, many will still be left wondering about what is going to occur however, in the coming weeks. Now I won't touch on what happened on the show, more so what may happen, in the future.
Now we have something very interesting in Guy Fausto Vs. Vincent Valmont, V.V. feels the need to prove to the OCW "fans" (More so, to the members on this Forum) that he is worthy of the title "OCW Champion", this match will work well, because it will give Vincent a chance to see if he really DOES have that "X Factor", when it comes to the main event, now I don't blame him for wanting to fight Guy Fausto, if there's anyone to beat to get your name in the HoF, it's him.
This is also an interesting situation for Fausto, having been at the top already, and accomplished what many of us dream of doing, you begin to wonder "What else is there?". Well, not much to be frank, but there's still a lot Fausto has to offer OCW in terms of gimmick improvement, Guy is top notch at Gimmick progression, and if this result goes his way, I can see him attempting to build on what he already has, a man filled with depression and despair for the company that made him what he is.
So looking at this, it's a plus for both sides if they can pull off the win, which is what makes this feued so interesting for me personally. I'd also like to see what either man does, if they lose their match at S2R, this can go a lot of ways for both Valmont and Fausto, I'd recommend keeping an eye on this, if you're not already.
Now one other thing that caught my eye, was Aries' major push. Clearly he's main event caliber and deserves nothing more than another title shot at some point in the near future, but until that time, it's best (IMO) that he tries to build on his character more, and show a fresh side to his Gimmick. Being Scottish with the stereotypical accent is fine, but I wouldn't mind seeing something more to Aries than his speech problems. Maybe I've missed a little RP here or there, showing more to this Scottish Sensation, but besides that, this is the only way I can see Aries progress as a Main Event wrestler, and shine above most who have been there already.
Well there wasn't too much I wanted to talk about, I'll leave that to the expert reviewers around here. I just wanted to express what I felt when I saw this show, take from it what you will, it's my opinion, and that's all it is.
