  1. Lies, lies and slander! I played that shit when I was 7, and I hated it, but it wasn't a hard game.
  2. Not of me beating you necessarily, just beating you up. I got some good shots on you in our one on one sir. And no, the description you put where he won but didn't realize it. Kind of dimwitted there xD.
  3. We really didn't have too many contributors this week, so I'll do the name style review because I think it makes the most sense since several people showed up more than once. Ryu/Spider: I dig the new jacket, I like the choice to make it white, obviously a good decision for a face. I'm sure Stacey very much appreciates your face-turn, you were kind of a dick to her. Your match was fun to watch, but it seemed like kind of a spider-squashing. You definitely benefited from the Valmont save. Good to have you back contributing to the content though, your RP with Hollywood is my favorite I've read thus far of his career. Dimsmore: I find myself amazed that this man who was so cunning and maniacal when fighting Dupree and others in the past can appear so dimwitted (excuse the pun) sometimes, I mean Suda bitched you out in chinese checkers. But you get some kind of pass on that because no one likes that game anyway. You kind of went destroyer mode on Spider in that match, only to be screwed by a has-been. It was a very impressive outing for you though, back to being intimidating in that ring. Matsuda: Another banner week for this asshole. I didn't see the whole replacing the ring crew going down, that was pretty hilarious xD. You all can hate me for it if you want, but it's part of my goal to see as many rookies smacked back down as possible right now, so I had a smile on my face watching you wreck Lazarus. Because that's what you did, he looked out of his league, or at least having an off day or something. And your video later on in the night certainly made you look great, but give me some time to make one and I can have myself a video smacking around the current champions as well, or you could just watch the main event ;). Tiberius Dupree: You just....... God that was disgusting. I know this is all fake, obviously I know that, but your story was still depressing as hell. You are the lowest of the low and I officially hate you more than Matsuda because at least he's like a comic book villain, you're just a piece of shit (in a good heel kind of way, I'm not actually trying to insult you just in case you read it that way first). Your match was, not a match actually xD. Parker beat the shit out of you, hahaha, you deserved it. Good showing though. Tyro Kraven: We got a good match out of you, no written work, but you always do written work so obviously that's no big deal. Sean McGee: You had a much better match than you let on. Said you got your ass kicked, but I think you did pretty well. Looked pretty damn strong catching Kraven in mid air like that. Trance: I don't know where the rest of that work went, but I hope it goes up, I thought the idea sounded cool and I certainly don't want my time to have just been a waste xD. Parker Stevens: You looked great kicking Tibby's ass, and thank you very much for doing that, he's a menace to society, or at least to one particular family. As far as our match goes.... I really like you Parker, I really do so don't take this the wrong way please because I know you're a great guy and you've been a big help to me, but fuck you I was kicking ass. I think I got somewhere near 70% of the offense in that match, and I understand champ stats and shit, but that was ridiculous! It was a good match, and I had fun doing it, but I'm even more disappointed in the result re-watching it because I feel even more now like that match should have been mine. But it wasn't and I'll have to deal with that. Pugh: Pugh's RP was on fire! You can feel that he means what he says and I think it's one of, if not his best, and I only wish I had more to do with it so I could claim some of the glory but it was all him. All I can say is next time you get in my face like that right after I've just been humiliated, I won't avert my gaze, I won't leave the ring, and I will make you regret it... I'd watch yourself Paul Pugh. Everyone's assessment seems right if you ask me, it was a bit of a Riot-lite. But the content that made it onto the show I thought was fantastic. As long as the core group keeps going Riot should be fine. Like Parker said, quality over quantity. Also, thanks to the guest booker for the shot, I apologize for squandering it.
  4. I'm on page three, but I do want to say, even though it was fake, Tiberius' segment makes me extremely sad. You're the lowest of the low you dickbag! I'll write something today/tonight for sure though.
  5. I'll play, it sounds like fun.
  6. Without trying to put the magnifying glass back on myself, I do want to risk saying one thing about this: The tag division doesn't count for shit. I was trying to help you all make it work. You can't really count shots given based out of necessity. We were one of three teams, another being you all, and the third being the team I beat each time I got a shot at those belts. That being said, when I finally did get a shot, I carried that feud Kent. You didn't. Gibbs didn't. I did, even without Jake. You were busy with all of your other stuff, so I put ideas out there and kept running them by you and Gibbs. Not that that's a problem, but I have a problem with you saying that I haven't done anything since Cross. I worked with Hostile as his partner. I won the FI and tried to make an angle out of that despite the fact that, that FI fell to shit and everyone knew it. I then tried to keep myself open for a title shot I thought was going to come and never did because I didn't want to be too busy when Jay finally told me I could cash in, but I put work in still every week until the last month or so of my being here. Since coming back I did the feud against Trance which fell apart because Trance couldn't get the partner that he thought he could. I carried the feud against The A-Team with the Storms. I tried to make something of Sean, K.D. and I. I've put work in every week, which I'm sure you think is nothing because you do as well. You're team reliable, and that's great, but fuck you, I do try around here.
  7. Riot Review I like Dupree's new look. reminds me a little bit of Petey Williams look after becoming little Petey Pump, which is a look I kind of think looks cool. I like the shirt, admittedly better than mine, but so is just about everything everyone wears (On a side note, I apologize that we had similar ideas, I was unaware). This whole RP is very quipy. Great mic skills but I'll be damned if it didn't sound just like a rock RP all the way through, which many people love, but personally I think it's just using comedy to get over. I much prefer the more serious tone of RP's, that's why I really liked the Chill Faktor work of these three over this. This new branch of the security force sounds intriguing. Our Hero wants to shove this man down people's throats that's fine, at least he's wise enough to turn John Cena heel. Lucas Crowe vs Damian Kain was an ass whipping, Kain didn't stand much of a chance, which kind of sucks for him coming off that PPV win. He did manage to mount some offense towards the end, but it was too little too late as Crowe planted him twice with the impaler to secure the W. I think Crowe was only booked because the fans demand to see that eerie entrance. Suda has a hell of an ego on him huh? That suit is crazy, and everyone is going to like it because it's no where near a traditional suit. The one thing I will say about this that I was a little put off by is that you changed the belt. Now, I think that belt suits you much better, that's not the issue I have, it's a general issue. All of the belts seem to be being changed. The World title recently changed, you changed the Ex, Pugh changed the Hardcore, and I believe Tyro changed the Int. Granted some of these were minor changes, such as strap color, but still, that's quite a few changes in a relatively small amount of time. Hollywood's character still bugs me, and that's all I can think of the entire time I read anything from him. Granted, that means he's doing a good job as a heel, but I just don't like how Jericho-ey it feels to me. Also, I'm not sure you want to publicize the Dark Knight thing. You say you upstaged Christian Bale, but in fact you were the one that Noland was willing to do without when it came to promoting big stars to sell the tickets and get the hype, so all you did was make yourself seem like shit. Jookie's in the building for one of his four annual appearances. I didn't realize the man had a legends contract. Trance got out of jail fairly quickly for the kind of assault he was convicted for, and the terrible thing is he doesn't seem rehabilitated at all. He is a prime example of the problems we have with out justice system in the US, all they did was round him up for a few nights and put him back out pissed off like a bear you poked a stick with. It's not a good look for the rest of us that have to deal with this guy. I'll be surprised if he's able to lock K.D. into the Fat Rack though, seems like a tall order. Wow, Spider is back from the dead too, is there a party no one told me about? Everyone's coming out from the woodwork. Sadly for Spider, he doesn't get quite the warm welcome that Jookie got. But I guess Suda feels like he's bigger than home now, that's what makes him a villain. You're trying to tell me an entire security force and a former world champion can't stand their ground against a rookie and his "posse"? BS. Wait to look like shit Dupree. That sueing thing was a bluff, if Trance can get off with a slap on the wrist and some extra security for what he did to Mania, I'm sure you'd have been fine, but you're a pussy. Smythe's back too. Maybe he'll stay this time, specially if he's as good as he says he his. He wants the challenge, maybe he should seek one out instead of waiting for it to come to him. The whole next segment kind of made me laugh seeing Ace and Justice get dumped like that, but I didn't read it because I'm an asshole who isn't up to date on that storyline so when I tried to read it none of it made sense to me. It sounded like gibberish. The fourth time we've seen Suda in two pages, now that's exposure. I don't think that Aiden actually gained anything here. He told Cash his demands, Cash said no, he knocked him unconscious. Did he get the girl back? No, did he use the weapon? No. I think this may have been one of the worst negotiation outcomes for a man holding a weapon against a defenseless man ever. I mean genuinely, I will never ask Aiden to broker a deal for me EVER. More Mayhem vs Pato. Seeing two bohemeths go at it is always something fun, but Mayhem's gimmick is just too demonic for me to get behind. It's like, everyone loves Undertaker, he has a similar gimmick to Mayhem, but he's vague about it all and that works for him. I think it'd work for Mayhem too, I think all of the details he puts into this stuff only work for about 10% of people who read it, and I personally think it sounded like some Middle English work written in like 1300 that no one can really understand anymore. Man, Romero is D...E...D...DEAD! I didn't even realize that was him at first. The segment after the bed video intrigues me, I can't wait to see how that develops, but I have no guess as to who the man is. And I was wrong, Trance did in fact 'Fat Rack' K.D. And I know K.D. was pretty pissed off about it. On a tactics note, I don't hate the pick up finishers. They just aren't something that really bug me, I don't know why they bug everyone else. Do I prefer the wake up taunts, yeah, but I feel like people dislike pick up finishers because they are harder to reverse, and I think that's a bit of a cop-out. I think everyone's work on this segment between McGee, Tyro, Pugh, and I was very good. I don't like reviewing my own stuff though so I won't touch it much, but I do want to say that it's not what I thought we were going to be doing for Riot. What I thought we were going to be doing originally was more along the lines of what I did in this thread earlier, that's why all of that was so bottled up. Anyway, nice work guys, I look forward to the match. Suda vs Jookie was pretty awesome. And I think I know why. It was fast paced. I mean yes they are Ex guys so it's going to be faster paced than will a heavyweight fight or something like that, but I think it's the gameplay mechanics. I don't mean to throw Suda under the bus here, but he plays more aggressive than most do and he stays on top of you. Some, most apparently, think that's cheap. I think it makes the most sense. You stay on top of your opponent and take it to them. In a fight you wouldn't ditch the advantage, you'd keep on them. I think it's also more entertaining to watch, I realized this when comparing this to the Crowe vs Kain match. Crowe was constantly backing up and it kind of killed the match for me. I understand doing it in the beginning when it looks like two wrestlers are testing each other out, but after the match gets going some it just looks too coerced, too restrictive to me. But that's just my thoughts. I thought the ending was pretty sick, and it almost looked like Suda was trying to four corners Jookie dragging him around everywhere, but then he pinned him after two so that kind of confused me. No offense to Trance, but if this match does indeed take place I hope K.D. wins. I'd hate to see him leave. The Hardcore Title defense was fantastic. Much better than expected. No offense to Mania, but I expected it to be a bit of a squash, but he hung right in there. Hopefully this means that Mania's rust is starting to get shaken off. The match was a good one and gave Pugh another reputable defense. The only thing that kind of made me laugh was how long that table was on fire for, it was never even broken, it just kept burning, we have durable as fuck tables. Trance just took Mania out again. the poor guy, and how is Trance not back in cuffs already? Better yet, with the security detail that was assigned to him earlier, how did he get out of that dressing room? See, I told you Aiden got nothing out of that negotiation! Tyro vs Dims was a competitive match, like I think everyone expected it to be. I wish they had done something to hype it up a little before hand, but Tyro was busy with Pugh, and Dims is busy being Suda's lackey. I feel like we just saw this segment a couple of weeks ago here. I enjoyed this Parker RP more than I did the other one, it was less insults flying everywhere and more serious and intense and I think that makes for better work 95% of the time. The main event was a good performance, but for some reason I just wasn't in to it, and I kept forgetting the Tiberius changed his look and wondering who the blonde man in the ring was xD. Anyway, it was a very work filled Riot guys, a good show on all accounts, but it seemed to me like a couple of guys got a little overexposed. But you can't blame them if they're the ones that are going to put the content in, specially if the content is good, which it all was.
  8. Thank you. That's a lot of information, and information I think I'm going to need to digest, but thank you for the consideration and replies not just from Suda but everyone. We should probably get back to Riot discussion now.
  9. I flaked out on my FI shot. But I'll be damned if I hadn't flaked because I tried to use it and was repeatedly denied.
  10. I have Parker, I have asked a couple of times, but not in a while because I'm the kind of guy who's patient until the point where I melt over about it, kind of like going postal. I can understand what you all are saying and where you're coming from, and this is a personal problem I guess. I've yet to figure out what people like, I like my character, you all don't, and I can't seem to figure that out, and it's super frustrating to win and win and win, and put in effort all the time, but be held back by something you don't know how to fix. Back to the drawing board, I'll stop throwing myself this melodramatic pity party.
  11. That's my point Pugh. You're right, you shouldn't be run down verbally by me for maximizing your moment. You shouldn't be given shit, and I can understand if you don't want to take what I'm saying. But you just described my situation exactly and also gave me a chance to answer Parker's question: Yes, I'm talking about Indy Live. A match I was told to jump in to, and I ended up winning. A match that we were told would have a title shot for the world title attached to the W. I was thrust in that match Pugh, I was thrust into the moment. I wasn't so sure the title shot was for real either Parker, I asked Jay a few days after winning it, he told me he was serious. It's been six months! I've heard of being patient but it's getting ridiculous. I have people laughing at me because of this shit. Guys I still talk to from RoC who laughing because I've yet to win the world title, and I can't say anything back to them. I can say that I'm still kicking ass, I still have a singles record well over 50% wins. I can still compete in this game with every single one of you even if I do end up losing, but you don't see me going anywhere. I'd be ok even not getting the World title shot. While I want what I won, I'd be ok with not getting it as I understand this is mainly a story league and Cody Storm jumping into the world title division may seem off to most of you all, and as the wrestlers we are also the fans. So that's fine, but don't I get something? Some consolation prize? Is my character not good enough? Do I not talk well enough? Not look good enough? Have I not won or done enough? I've put more effort into this place and this run than I think I've put into any other efedding I've ever done and I have less to show for it than any other efedding I've done. This group we've just made, it all stems from real frustration. I love you all as people (excuse me if that sounds gay). I'm in OCW over RoC, a place with guys I've known for almost 7 years much like some of you all here, because I love this roster. Talking to you all is enjoyable. Cracking jokes on each other is fun, playing with you all is fun, this is the best roster of people I've ever been a part of or seen, but fuck you all if I don't want the shots that I think, that I have been told that I have earned.
  12. We're not heels at all. I'm sure we come off like that, but that's because you all are insane. You think it's heelish to get what you deserve? And I don't mean some Tiberius Dupree, I lost the belt in a sanctioned match and now I want it back and it's mine, shit. I mean straight up wanting what you have earned. I can't speak for everyone, because that's not my style, so I'll speak for myself, and I'll start by quoting myself. "I will say that as a fan who wanted to be entertained this was a fantastic show, one of the best I think I've seen or been a part of since first coming to OCW in 2010. As a wrestler, and I don't mean a character, but as a competitor behind the sticks I will tell you that I HATED this PPV. But I won't vent here, I'll just save it for Riot!" Well, we didn't do the big vent RP I had believed we were going to, so instead "I'll just save it for [the] Riot" thread. What I meant when I said this was that the show from an entertainment stand point was on point. It was a fantastic show, and I loved watching it. But I couldn't sleep that night (I was on a terrible sleep schedule) and I started to think about it all more. Look at those title matches that we saw on the show (excluding the tag). Suda vs Romero: New champion crowned in a controversial ending with Terry being the one to do the move but with the ref saying he went through the table first. Pugh vs Tyro: Pugh wins one fall, Tyro wins the other two and switches the belts back. Tibby vs Parker: Tibby turns heel and beats the shit out of Parker but gets DQ'ed. What do all of these have in common? BS endings that only lead one to believe that these matches will be repeated. As a fan it was fun to see, you didn't necessarily expect it all. As a wrestler, fuck you all! We get the same matches again, the same guys vs the same guys for the same prizes. Pugh lost twice to Tyro in one match, why is he getting a shot? Parker was absolutely dominating his match, but Tiberius is going to get another shot? I understand that this is a story driven league, a place where a long feud is usually exciting and something that the people love to see, and maybe this is where my personal taste always gets the better of me in OCW, but why aren't new guys getting the shots? Why is it that a dominated Tibby is getting another world title shot when I have a shot in my pocket (or so I have been told) that I haven't seen despite WINNING it about 7 months ago. It's the same thing that happened to me with the FI when I had it. I have a shot, it's there I'm told, it exists, but I never see it because the belt is always tied up in something else. I'm not trying to sound like a whinny bitch (I'm sure I do though), but it's really demoralizing to think you've won something, be really high on that, and then never see it. Last time that happened I left OCW. That's not going to happen this time, I can promise you that I really do like it here, but I am very much getting frustrated and I'm going to start showing it. If that makes me a heel to you all in character, out of character, so be it, but something here is going to give and I'm positive that it won't be me.
  13. Who needs to run mental circles around K.D. when you can beat him? And why stop with him, we're going to beat you all.
  14. Question 1 (Dupree): I'm terrible at booking things like this,I do think that it became a little obvious, but that doesn't necessarily always make it bad. About a month ago I was more excited for a heel Dupree than I am now though, so I do agree it should have been a little more explosive, a little more rash and sudden, like the armbar was. Question 2 (Trance/Steen): I don't watch ROH a whole lot, so I know who Steen is, I know that the Package Piledriver is his move, and I know that he had a breakdown like this in the past few years. Outside of that, I know almost nothing about Steen and so anything Trance does is fresh to me pretty much xD. He obviously goes to jail from here, but when he returns I don't see why he shouldn't be allowed to step up to the plate more often, unless his schtick is stale for people who know Steen. Question 3 (Spoonman): I feel bad for Spoon, I wasn't around for his hayday, but the man has to be a legend for a reason. Frankly you just can't take a ton of time off of the game and come back on fire like you used to be, it doesn't work that way (unless you're me). I think he just needs to keep wrestling and he'll eventually find his way again. He started a comeback in that Trance match, and should have beaten Hazard, so I think he's already made bounds of progress since facing me. Question 4 (Smythe): I kind of forgot he was booked to begin with. But I like the Smythe character, once I remembered I was a little sad that he no showed it. I hope he's not planning on making this a normal thing.
  15. Scrap what I said, it's the product of watching part of the PPV while watching the Niners/Seahawks game with my parents at the same time. You had a lot more offense than I apparently saw the first time (I just went back and watched the match again). Somehow I totally missed the barricade spot and just about all of the springboards.
  16. This PPV was very very good, so lets give it a full review. I played the opening track all the way through because I let videos load and went to piss while that was happening, and it was a very eerie track, I really liked it. Tiberius Dupree: It was not until the cut scene where Jay came to the ring right before the main event that I actually believed Tiberius was going to go heel. The arm bar moment was top notch, one of those times where even though it's all words you feel like you can see it. Dupree Tv was good as well, but as we found out a total crock of shit. Can't trust a guy that's always telling you to burn things... Dupree looked pretty good in the ring, specially towards the end, in the beginning it looked pretty solidly in Parker's corner. It will be interesting to see what happens when one of the longest tenured faces turns heel. Our Hero: Ok, so the entire thing was a work then right? You never took Dupree's shot away. Or was this some armbar epiphany where you went "Holy shit! There's an evil side to this man afterall, I can help him get in touch with that." It really doesn't matter, Sensation was in form tonight being just as much an asshole as always. I honestly thought for a good portion of the show that the main event was going to be changed and we were going to find someone new in it. It was a good turn, you're a corrosive man sir. Rookie Rush: The one thing I really remember about this match is that Eric Scofield is a moron. Kain won because Eric is stupid. Jacob Trance: Trance is a bit madder than I thought, and I don't mean angry, I mean fucked in the head. Spoon has gotten nothing since he returned except some beatings, so he must be far from a "Sensation darling". But man, that didn't stop this lunatic, he just kept driving his head into the ground, surprised he didn't open up a hole to China. This is far from the Trance that we are all used to, and it's probably a good thing he has gone to jail. Matsuda: That video made me want the throw up (the song video), but that's precisely why you put it there I imagine, so nice job. I really don't see why Dimsmore puts up with your shit, maybe it's cause he had nothing else to do last night. I'd probably give Romero vs Suda match of the night, it was fantastic to watch all the way until the ending (aside from the horrific buffering issues that accompanied them). Dimsmore: I'm really sad that we didn't see more Dims on this show, but that's alright, we got a whole hell of a lot of Dims' action on Riot a couple of weeks ago. Hopefully you actually killed the man, that way he can't possibly come back or keep going on about how great he used to be. Michael Hollywood: He sounds so much like other wrestlers. He has his own twist on the nouns he uses, but the verbage is so close to others I kind of don't like it. OThers love you though, so don't let my one negative opinion stop you. You looked good in your match, Aiden really didn't look that great, it waas pretty much a Hollywood match. Djack: You took the call to add written content WAY TOO FAR. Kindred: Even if it wasn't very much, it's good to see that there is a tag team DIVISION and not just two tag teams randomly tossed together to do battle/be fodder for the A-Team. A-Team: You too looked a bit slowed down in there, I honestly thought you were going to lose it for a second. I think that perhaps last night was the most that we have ever seen Mez or Gibbs talk, it's usually D. doing all of the talking, but he was no where to be found. Mez pulled the W out of his ass with a Boot from no where, it was kind of crazy. Rising Sons: I really thought you two were going to take the belts last night, which would have been insane to me because I've beaten you two as many times as I've lost to the A-Team. It was a good showing though, you may not have won, but you went toe to toe and against the A-Team that says quite a bit. Parker: I liked the scar tangent, and you certainly have a lot of them. Every speech needs a theme and that was one well suited for the occasion. You were kicking ass in that ring big time. And while you got screwed, I think the major silver lining here is that it didn't cost you your title, maybe it just added a new scar, maybe you're just more of a man now. Patolomai: Pato crushed Mayhem, I thought for a little while it was going to be an actual fight, but no, Pato killed a man last night, and then literally walked right over his body before anyone even got there to check up on him, what a dick. Paul Pugh/Tyro: First off, Pugh came out with his facial hair shaved off, you literally look ten years younger, almost too young to be holding a belt or a wrestling contract, it was nuts. Now, That match was a ton of fun to watch, I liked the falls concept a lot. I thought Pugh had it handidly but as the match progressed Tyro entered a beast mode of sorts and just started handing Pugh his ass. The ending was screwed up, and now Pugh's going to have to go after Tyro again for pulling the switch like that. I will say that as a fan who wanted to be entertained this was a fantastic show, one of the best I think I've seen or been a part of since first coming to OCW in 2010. As a wrestler, and I don't mean a character, but as a competitor behind the sticks I will tell you that I HATED this PPV. But I won't vent here, I'll just save it for Riot!
  17. Seriously, your match does not want to load for anything. And you really don't need another post saying that, but we may as well move on to page 2. I'm really enjoying the show so far, at the bottom of page 6 right now.
  18. Much appreciated sir. I've yet to watch Riot, I know I'm behind, but I'd be a terrible son/grandson if I held myself up in my room for hours at a time my first couple days home xD.
  19. I love the format Suda, I didn't read any of it since I've yet to watch the show, but it's a very interesting concept.
  20. I would agree if this weren't WWE '13, but with the addition of the stat (I forget what it is, either adrenaline or agility, probably agility) you can jump now without going twenty miles away from your starting point. Now, obviously I'm not suggesting that I think Cody Storm can do tightrope walking moves or moves with lots of acrobatics, but I think it's completely reasonable for Cody Storm to be able to a dive in which he runs at the ropes, grabs on to them, and lets his momentum swing him over. That's all that move is, and he goes like two feet away from the ring, so that's literally all that it is, there's no jump to it, it's all momentum.
  21. I just got done with Riot just now, I want to write a review, and I will, but that main event for whatever reason took, no lie, an hour to buffer, so I have been procrastinating my homework much longer than expected.
  22. Ok, I am WAAAAY late here, but I figure better late then never, I'll save the excuses for another date. I have two cents on the topics going on in this thread, and while I thought that on one hand maybe I should let them go since the topics appear to be somewhat controversial, I decided that Jay wants 9 pages, and I'm going to do my best to give him 9 pages so I need as much shit to talk about as possible. The "Inner Circle": It exists. You can call it what you want, you can deny its existence, you can do whatever you want really, but you can't change facts (unless your my roomate apparently because he seems pretty good at that). First off, this is the most friendly inner circle I can imagine. I like every person that I believe to be a part of the inner circle, so they have that going for them. Second, an inner circle is going to happen. I think that's obvious, I think that's natural. Jay isn't going to talk to everyone, do you (any of you) talk to everyone? I know I don't. So how do you pick who you talk to and who you like best? Well for every person I would think there is a different, personal, set of criteria. For the owner of an Efed, I think it only makes perfect sense that it's the guys with the moniker "Team Reliable". These are the guys consistently putting content on the shows and coming up with the most creative ideas, of course they are the ones that Jay is going to go to, they should be the opinions that he cares about the most. Again, that's only logical. I don't think anyone not in this circle should really worry about it, they're all still very nice guys, and if anything the fact that something like this exists should only push people further. You can sit there and say you don't want influence all you want, but again it's only a natural thing to be flattered by the fact that you have it whether you want it or not. Mayhem's Stat past: Jay, you're crazy sir. I obviously haven't looked at the entire archive because I simply don't have that kind of time right now, but I've seen a couple of Superheavyweight Mayhem in action, and I remember one in particular that K.D. showed me where Smythe was whipping his ass and somehow Mayhem came out with the win (it was in 2011 by the way, so you already confirmed that he had the stat and size change). This isn't me trying to say anything about you Mayhem. Frankly my opinion of you is still pretty up in the air, I haven't ineracted with you all that much so I don't feel as strongly against you as a lot of people seem to, but I know this situation well because your character strongly resembles one that I delt with in my efedding past who was also a superheavyweight jackass. He was a great guy, but he had the stat boosts that are afforded to the weight class, and he was borderline unstoppable, I only managed it a few times so I understand where people would be coming from with this situation. Finishers on uninjured people: Eh.... I really don't like it, I used to play, much like old OCW did with the double red rule, and that included not hitting a finisher until your opponent was double red, so I'm still stuck in my ways a bit with evidence of damage taking the place of double red in these newer editions of the game. If it is decided that it's not a big deal as long as it looks good, I'm not against that, I just don't know that I'll be one to do it. The finishers definitely deal more damage than any other move in a moveset and just because you happened to get a cool looking reversal doesn't seem like any reason you should use it over me who may have had a finisher saved for 5 minutes now but hasn't had any cool reversal moments. That being said, I play this game much more for competition than I do for a good looking match, or at least I used to. OCW has changed me a bit in that way, and it's one of the top reasons I pick this place over others, you all put together great matches that are terrific fun to watch, and I strive much more than I used to to get that same effect, but I'm still here for the shiny belts and the "W's", so take that for what you will. On the the show: I seem to be much less familiar with Jay's new theme than others, but I like it none the less. I think that everyone could tell that a show down of this type was coming, and I think it came off very well. I didn't expect what happened later, but I'll talk about that when we get to it. I agree with your own opinions about your character Jay (doesn't that just sound like I'm kissing ass xD), he's got a couple of screws loose and that makes things very unpredictable since he holds power and it makes everything more entertaining. And, actually I think the easiest way to do this is to talk about the characters of the show instead of the events in a timeline, I'll talk about the characters as they pop up in the show, but I'll talk about everything they did throughout the show as many appear more than once. Mr. Sensation: I already started yours above, but I want to add that I love the Geomon skit and the A-Team stuff. I don't know all that much about Geomon (hopefully this angle changes that, if not I'll use some of my christmas break in a few weeks to catch up on my OCW history), but the reaction that Sensation had to him on the skype call leaves me feeling like his inclusion in this angle is a very big deal. Obviously the main event for next week has a big question mark on it as Kent is the handler of two of the participants, but that just leaves room for something big to happen, so I like the match Sensation has made and the alliance formed. Parker Stevens: I think Parker's words were spot on, they are exactly how everyone expected him to feel, like he was overlooked and like this is finally his time and he wants to savor it, and that makes it resonate all the more. I can understand exactly what this character would be feeling and it made this a bigger moment in my head. I'm excited to see what the "Scumbag" edition of the OCW Championship looks like as I wasn't a huge fan of the Ambition Title. I think this era nonsense needs to be kaboshed though, "The Scumbag Era" really? Sounds like Orton when he decided it was going to be an Orton Dynasty or whatever he went on about in 08. You got your ass kicked later on in the night huh? You have your first big test as champion as the champ, no matter what situation he's in, always has the most to lose. I'm excited to see how it pans out next week. K.Dangelo: I'm waiting for you to finally keep the hate man. I feel like it's every other week you're a revamped K.D or one that's "lost it" again. You're a beast in the ring most of the time, and there's no reason you shouldn't always be "punishing the sinners" I liked K.D. vs Mez. I feel like K.D. was having a hard time dealing with the size of Mez (a strange keyfabe way of saying it was obvious you were having a hard time dealing with the combination of a champ stats opponent and the difficulty of landing chain grapples, you looked like you constantly needed to switch out of one for a more sure fire way to mount a comeback, so I can understand why all the irish whips and things of that nature). Win or lose K.D. is always someone who comes out of a match looking powerful, so he's definitely got that going for him. Jacob Trance: It's been a while since we've seen you around these here parts Jacob. I understand the anger, but buck up, get in the ring, and give me a reason to care that you're upset. Smythe D. Wonder: I thought that you were funny in the ring when you were heckling the fans and us backstage, but I'd watch your mouth with words like that (by the way, in case people are scratching their heads, I decided mid way through this that I'm going to talk about the characters themselves and not the handlers as much as possible), people backstage may not take kindly. People on stage, such as the returning Hazard, obviously aren't taking kindly. Hazard: Hazard looked great in the ring at the live show with his ability to avoid the dreaded Black Rack, and he came back and got the verbal best of a known talker in Smythe, so this match is intruiging for sure. Hazard's interruption of Smythe was very nicely timed with the lighting and the music. The match was a bit of a mugging though, Hazard got some good moves in there, but they were really a flash in the pan, Smythe came back to OCW tough and cleaned his clock. Hostile: Brandon talked a pretty big game to Pugh tonight, and he typically shows up in his matches whether he wins or loses. This was no different as the two put on a great match, but just as Vegas predicted in the betting odds, the champion retained his newly made gold championship. Pugh: Pugh had a huge night with name drops alone. It seemed like he was mentioned every couple of minutes, which has to mean he's doing something right, right? Right! Pugh looked like he was in danger of losing his championship for a while in his match tonight, but he came out with the "W" and the Gold and that's what matters. The pedigrees did looks nice coming off counters (for what that's worth), but the submission was what sealed the deal. I can understand Pugh being angry with the ref missing his foot on the ropes, but he's kind of a jerk to demand a match from on the same night that the new champion enters a cage against one of the most vicious men on the roster. I am looking forward to the rematch next week however. Omar Gibbs: Omar looked fantastic tonight ripping into Cody Storm (I don't know what everyone is saying, I think he kicked my ass pretty handily, though I give myself some reprieve as I could barely keep my eyes on the match with the flu I had going on). Storm took three jacknifes to go down, but Omar had the energy to throw three powerbombs at him, so who does that really say more about? Gibbs. A-Team: Since Gibbs is here I'll mention the A-Team now. As I said Mez had a big night taking out K.Dangelo in a great match, but the big thing for this duo, trio with D. I suppose, was becoming the new butt-buddies of Sensation after receiving what we can only imagine is a HUGE stack of cash. They aren't even just going to go into the cell against Tibby and Parker, these assholes took it a step further and jumped Parker to close the show, I guess Jay is getting what he paid for. Matsuda: Matsuda was hilarious tonight. Talking for Dimsmore was funny and showed that he has a great relationship with Dims, as Dims would hardly let anyone else get away with that. He didn't really need to break the camera though, I mean OCW has to pay for that damn it! Matsuda was someone else who was all throughout the show though. He had a very dominant win over former Ex Champion Marely, got inside current Ex Champion, Terry Romero's head, and got destroyed by the current International Champion, Mr. Tyro Kraven. Dimsmore: Dimsmore and Matsuda are going to be a very fun team from an entertainment aspect, a very dangerous team from a competition aspect, and a TERRIBLE team from a heel aspect. The tandem brings with them a lot of new possibilities. Dims' match against Tyro was a great one, I feel like Tyro had the upper hand throughout most of the match, but Dim was never out of it. At one point I thought he almost had it won, but Tyro slipped out of The Dimolsher and picked up the win. I like the new hairdo and for whatever reason I was quite fond of Dim's new cut shirt, but it looked like it was sticking to his wrestling attire, so that was kind of off. Tyro Kraven: Tyro has finally done it, much like Parker, and had a huge moment celebrating with the crowd. The emotion was almost too much for him as he was about to leave the ring as the crowd willed him back into the middle. The win was a huge one for him as it was over a still very legitimate threat and International Contender in Dimsmore, and it was in The Cage. It was probably the best season opening imaginable for Tyro (short of getting a world title match and upsetting the new champion). Sean McGee: Sean showed that he's still an asshole disrespecting the fans. He came up short in the ring, but looked great doing it as always and was in the fight most of the time (I'm holding back a bit on this one so that I don't use all of my material for future RP's). Tiberius Dupree: The poor former champion. He had to watch as someone else got all of the attention, that must have been hard..... Though I will concede he has something with his conspiracy theory against how Parker won the championship. The former champ bounced back pretty big against McGee, forcing a tap out after escaping a submission himself. I thought, much like others, that we were close to seeing him turn on the fans and strike Parker at the end of the show, but sadly we have to wait another day as he ran back to chase off the A-Team and Sensation to close the show. It was a great show guys, I enjoyed every minute of it, and I hope next weeks (last weeks?) Riot is as good, hopefully I can watch it tomorrow night.
  23. How are you going to sit here, replying to something that Parker said, and blame this Era. Not that Parker isn't a part of this era, but given how long he's been here, I'd say that any opinion the man has is distinct from this "Bitch-made-era."
  24. This is a nice shot to try and get my win back Overall this is a pretty stacked card, I'm really looking forward to the main event and to Tibby vs McGee. This is going to be a great show to watch.
  25. I'm around to record if anyone needs it, provided I'm not in class at the time. My GT is OCW Cody Storm if anyone needs help
