"NUT UP OR SHUT UP, OCW VETERAN!" basic review. I feel like I'm too generic and positivist with my comments in these, so I'm giving you unfiltered this time. Fuck you. - I am ecstatic to see Doc and Antonio putting their bare-feet forward in front of this rookie class. I feel like more constructive call outs would make the rookies notice their mishaps, but if nothing else, just watch the Uncrowned every week. RP EVERY WEEK ROOKIES. I have a basic understanding of their characters. They already have the catchy entrance and the lovable face appeal, which we're lacking on Riot. Keep up the good work.. If I have to be negative.. I'd say reach out to some of your OCW brothers for some co-op RPs or feuds. It's a slow build, so nothing bad but I'd love to see what Antonio would say reacting in a conflicting situation. You guys do the English thing so well and it's why you're kicking ass early in the season. - Telos! Another rookie big balling. As someone with inside information (being his manager and all), i'd like to see more intrigue and more interest in OCW and everything it entails. The short RPs DO work for the character, so keep up that consistency. Hoping for more communication and ass-kicking in the future. Rookies doing great work early. Bourne vs Steel I give shit to Bourne all the time (and will never stop doing so) but for a kid as young as he is, he has been able to maintain a level of composure since coming into OCW as Bourne (and not Frankie G.). I wish you would fucking write more. You're one of the better young talents on the roster stick skill wise (which is demonstrated in the match) and you ruin it by being a lazy fuck. As of this moment, I know stuff is coming on Turmoil so I'm looking forward to it! The match itself was about as interesting as a DM could be, especially with Tyler Steel, who had potential as a rookie but is clearly not interested in OCW and has his foot in other feds, so a nice cameo here, but more of a job for Damian. Good win and good FPR! - Code, your RPs are short and don't tell me much. I will take writing over not writing though. Code is super active in the ring and anytime I get a look into the character, I'll take what I can get. Antonio Everett vs Braddock Braddock caught me right in the lip last time with his crazy person Clark Effect interview, then he let me down again. Disappointing because I actually WANT to know who he is. Oh well. What's more disappointing is the misunderstanding of FPR and ethics. It's your 3rd match, there should be no more hovering/reverse hovering/lack of bump understanding. You bump, you back away, you re-engage. It happened all match, but Antonio being a soldier, fought on and made it work. We already know what happened with your new move. Weird end, something must have happened that you needed to edit, but it works for me. Antonio continues to show his in-ring prowess! - Bobby Minio will never cease to amaze in the RP department. As someone that's increasingly interested in OCW lore and background over the last 14 years, I love shit like this. References to other OCW storylines that don't necessarily involve him + inclusion of other characters connect him to the universe in a way that few others do. Reminds the reader that you're in OCW RIOT, not just pulled into the wonderful Bobby Minio purgatory. I get rock hard for Minio RPs every review, but get used to it. He's that damn good. - Heeeeeeyoooooo! The masked man is Telos! Surprise! Like I said, would like to see Telos take more initiative but he's been great so far regardless. I fucking love the new look (that was all him) but I hate that you don't care enough to fix your skin color condition you got going on there for your new face texture. The redesign works to me, because his character has never really had that cult leader appeal. He's been more of a straight forward ANGRY heel so this casual look works better than a faux Kane Telos vs Doc Green Unlike Antonio Everett matches, I just hate watching Doc Green's matches. I've mentioned his constant rushing in previous reviews, and TO BE FAIR, he seemed to not do it as much this game, but I just don't like watching matches where one or both sides do running moves a strong majority of their knockdowns. Just a preference. That being said, Doc is DAMN good on the sticks and I wish nothing but the best for him because he's putting in a lot of effort. As for Telos, he needs a better understanding of the game. He doesn't seem to grasp damage optimization and backpays, which hurts him BAD in the long game. I hope everyone is enjoying the Dillinger addition to his character, I know I am. - Drago flies under the radar for how much work he does, but he really goes after it. I don't know if I was in the dark last season but I just recall him being a relatively silent ass-kicker. Now he is a person. He's a wacky Eastern European with Mugen, but he's way more impactful this season to me personally now. I recognize that this COULD be due to my direct conflict with him. - We haven't had a power ranking in a while, but I would THINK that Cort Marshall would be at the top of it (even above Kassidy or Trance). Cort's character LAST season to me anyways, was boring and overplayed and I honestly couldn't tell if he was a heel or a face. This season he has been able to turn that Patriot Act into an incredible push. That booking vs KD at the Riot after Anny was one of the best booker moves I've seen in OCW. It helped the fed as a whole. - Speaking of which, this unlikely face pairing of Harvey and KD should definitely go somewhere. I really hope it does. Harvey has kinda fallen off the face of the planet for me. Last season he was at the top of the company and now he's low-mid card in terms of draw. Doc is one of my role models in OCW so I hope to see H2O back at the top once Doc's schedule evens out. - Valk transitions so easily as a serious face to comedic points. This was just a small RP, but knowing that Valk made this happen as a way to explain the awkward end the comp match should give you more respect for her. - Oh great, Quartz is crazy again. "GET BACK TO THE WACKY TTT STUFF" AC Cobra vs H2O Now this is what I'm talking about! H2O showing out! A pretty thorough ass-kicking from start to finish, AC Cobra continues to display week after week that his lack of understanding about FPR and WWE 2K are crippling him in terms of success. He is doing a super fun job of being engaged and developing AC into a human being this season with RPs, but his consistently wasting damage opportunities and generally looking lost between the ropes... Happens every week. H2O took advantage and wrecked havoc. AC still won't talk to me after 2 straight months. If you're reading this... http://media.giphy.com/media/IO3NC6rAktKrC/200.gif - Not the best P3 I've ever watched, but since Anny 14, none of the P3 segments have failed to make me laugh. I always considered both of these characters to be serious/dangerous characters, but their commitment to the change is very convincing and most of all - hilarious. - NEW COUNTRY WILL REIGN SUPREME. WHERE MY NEW COUNTRY GUYS AT? http://media1.tenor.com/images/7beb1ba265172a2db4830ab5f024884c/tenor.gif?itemid=10849163 - Minio's character is quickly becoming tops in terms of a draw. He's piling up wins as well, which makes me even more excited to watch this main event. Bobby usually doesn't take himself too seriously, but recently this P O W E R F U L Boob is fun to watch. No stranger to long RPs, I'm sure he is aware that could be draining for people... Not me - but I'm positive others are seeing it. Either way, two of my favorite characters collaborating and building each other in the process. Awesome stuff. Mugen vs Quartz I was shook from the ground up when he kicked out of the Black Phoenix. I never recovered. Embarrassing loss to Mugen who has ADMITTEDLY stated he didn't have much experience in 2K19, whereas I've played the shit out of the game. Still an honor to share a ring with Mugen. Will be a bigger honor when I beat him at the PPV. - Valk vs Heather is probably my #1 match I'm looking forward to at Devil's Night. A classic example of how to build a feud, these two have done a great job working in original angles (together and alone), incorporating other OCW wrestlers, unique RPs. I hope Valk wins. - Francis going AT Nomad. I don't know him well enough to speak on his situation, but I'll say this... as a fan, #1 contender doing 2 bland RPs since Anny and doing hardly anything to build the hype for DN has disappointed me. Cort vs Bobby Minio Awesome match. The bookers deserve real credit for making this the ME. Equally talented on the sticks, it was a match that you NEVER knew who was going to win, which isn't often the case in OCW. This match told a great story as well, two characters I love and having their RP in the back of my mind the whole time was the icing on the cake. I sure hope nothing terrible happens to Cort on Turmoil! *wink* There you go, you cretins.

So here's this - I spend almost 100% of my time here joking around and not taking myself seriously... But I noticed something interesting today. I spent a good long while going through the forums archives today. Mostly to lul at our lord and savior Paul Pugh put dipshits in their place... but I noticed while going through old show threads... There is a hell of a lot more conversation in those threads. I'll say this: Yeah, the hoots cleaned up the waste that lingered pre-discord and it's a better place these days without the constant arguing in the threads, but those guys had show discussion. I just think we have far too many damn good writers and content creators on a newer platform for their work to go un-noticed. I don't know if it's Discord's fault, but if it is, it's pretty shitty because even conversation in there is lackluster to say the least. It's mostly banter. (I'm guilty of that too.) For those of you love the OCW experience and enjoy it, it's great to see comments in the thread. I refresh all the time and I pop for reviews as much as I do shoes. ! Even if it's a few comments. It doesn't have to be a full show review. I'm fascinated (personally) by how others perceive not only MY angles, but the shows overall angles and atmosphere of the fed in general. With what I read from people like Drago Cesar, Bobby Minio, Valk and others every week, it's criminal they don't get more recognition. For those of you that only show up each week to look at yourself in the mirror - don't even bother commenting, because it would be forced. Hopefully those that do that are few and far between. Just something I noticed today. Take it how you will. OCW > Review below.

Riot 514
Hey, hey, hey. It's RIOT 514. - Valk cutting another face promo after her win over Dawson last week. Gets me excited for the ME and because I already know how the show ends, it makes this promo even more worthwhile. - Glad there are still some rookies RPing here. This big brooding fucker uses a cell phone? Who does he text? I have many questions. Someone offering him some kind of proposition? Good cliffhanger. Looking forward to seeing what Telos is putting together. Match: Telos vs Braddock Okay, first and foremost, I am VERY disappointed that we're going yet another show without a Braddock RP. Just participating in matches does nothing to help me get to know the character more. So far I just know he's a Foley-esque big guy with Spider's moves. I like the entrance though. The match itself had a lot of eh moments too. Braddock doesn't know how to bump and seems uncomfortable with it, so the match drug on way too long. A hover or 2 from Telos as well, but these are two things that can be fixed with time. FPR is mostly good outside of the running away from Telos. It's not moonwalking - he's literally turning and running away. Only happened 1 or 2 times but it's his 2nd match so it is what it is. Hopefully he (and other rookies) are watching shoes/reading reviews so they can get better at stuff like that. Big win for Telos in a comp sense, even against a rookie, Telos needed a big win to get him some tough-guy heat. Dropping this one would have been a disaster. - Uncrowned also getting in there with rookie writing. Wasn't expecting it to be this barren in terms of rookie content, so it's awesome to see people participating. I don't know if the italics were meant to cover the whole RP, but it just seemed a bit out of place. Other than that, the content was good and I enjoy face RPs with a little banter because of all the heels we have. - TTT4Lyfe - Even though it's short, the KD RP still adds life to the match so it doesn't feel like Doc Green is facing a personality-less CAW. Match: Doc Green vs Coolidge First of all, I love Uncrowned's theme. It's so damn catchy... Now the match... Holy running moves, batman. On first watch, I swore like 75% of every reset, a running move was attempted. I went back and counted and TWENTY running moves were attempted by both superstars combined. If you take out corner and ground spots, it's still 17, most of which were done by Doc Green. It was a little exhausting to watch, even though it was short, just a lot of rushing. On a positive note, it WAS a nice succinct match that neither guy let drag on too long. Good FPR and not a BAD match to watch, just something I noticed. Coolidge's moveset it cool too. I like all the wear down submissions. Wish I got to see some of his signature/finishers, but I pop at a Doc fin, so I dig it. - Like I said last week, I'm all here for this potential AWOL angle. Shep as a singular voice and not just a part of AWOL is the most intriguing part to me. - TTT4Lyfe Match: Hijo de Mistico vs Ricky Ragnarath Some pretty good spots in the match, very solid. I don't remember any moments that I said "ew" at. Competitive, even though Mistico had the lead the whole time. My favorite spot was the back-to-back Liontamer from each guy. Told a good story. Fuck Mistico, though. I wanted Ricky to pull that one out. - This was by far the funniest P3 segment so far and this is the point in the show where the RPs really start to pick up. The one on Anny was okay, the one last week was pretty funny, but I actually laughed out loud several times during this one. Maybe the building imagery of the last 3 helped, but I'm going to be looking forward to them each week now... and only the RPs. You guys should stick to writing and fighting people that aren't me. Leave me alone. - Was waiting to see who'd make the first TV show move between Moon Man and Kass and it looks like Kass is throwing down the gauntlet. Interested to see how Nomad responds and he has so much opportunity before or after his match with TTT member Rust Cohle next week. Is he going to be the one to finally drop Kassidy as champ? - #NoLazy2K19, Cobra RPing back to back weeks, but this one was way higher quality than his one last week to me. Building the 'gamer' character while being very funny at the same time. Also, Poling's "Cobra should be a 54" killed me. - TTT4Lyfe Match: Kassidy Hayes vs Shep I guess Nate is fired up at the start of the season and is ready to... Wait, does that say 26 fucking minutes?! Even at 2x speed this one felt like a main event Ironman match! No gimmicky let ups or weird stuff either. It was competitive the entire time, and after Shep kicks out of like 4 big time moves + the jumping Turn, I knew it was anyones game. I actually thought Kass was about to lose in this one. That 3 minute stretch of both guys kicking the ever living shit out of each other on the outside of the ring was moment of the match for me. Match of the night, hands down. It came down to a final reset showdown in the ring and either guy could have won it. Worth the watch (but maybe put it on 2x speed anyways.) Win or lose, this positions Shep as a real competitor and will go a long way in the AWOL storyline. - I can't really do justice to a Bobby Minio segment. This is the 2nd week in a row I'm just in awe. The way Minio combines pure entertaining writing with visualization and putting you in the RP with him is unmatched. This is also the first time (that I can remember) that someone has done such a great job giving Stacy Clark a personality instead of portraying her as a zombie NPC reporter. Read the damn show, my review sucks. - TTT4LYFE. Big win for Rust Cohle here against Poogen. Should help him build momentum going into his match with Moon Man. - Working with Cort is always a pleasure and painless as can be, but I didn't really get the full effect of how well we did with this until I watched it in full motion. I did all the camera/video work, but Cort's mic skills were the inspiration behind it. My hats off to him. Cort has transitioned (in my head) from this midling shit talking to one of my favorite characters. He is my 2nd favorite face on the roster currently. (nobody fuckin' with Valk.) I think this will go a long way in both hating Dillinger (if you don't already) as well as being on Cort's side. - Brilliant RP from H2O. That comparison segment on the tron was perfectly rendered in my mind, had no trouble at all being in the crowd as he cut TTT down (or tried... let's not get out of hand here.). It's a great move after being squashed by Quartz last week to get back on the map! No, but seriously, super fun RP in a long line of them to end the show. Match: Valk vs Bertha vs Heather In terms of telling a story with your in-ring action, these 3 did a phenomenal job. Valk as a calculating strategist, Bertha as a scary fucking brute, and Heather as a no-fucks-given possessed Kastian. All done well. Heather especially, going right after Bertha and showing she will not back down to even the scariest of opponents. There was about a 2 minute stretch where Heather turned all her attention to Bertha in order to cut her down, no hesitation, which fits the Kass-poisoned character. Best spot hands down was already clipped by Jay, Valk moonsaulting OVER a ducking Bertha onto Heather, then popping up and taking down Bertha. Close 2nd was that crazy pin breakup by frantic Heather. I popped out of my chair when Angel's Serenity hit and I thought that was is. Bummer that Valk lost, but great match! - Cort and Shep making up is nice, but I still have my eyes on this angle. Whether they remain together as a team or not, Shep's newfound individuality and Cort's new less fan-friendly persona change the dynamic overall. Still could go in a lot of directions! - THIS is how you end a show! I hope I was not alone when I found myself chanting along with the crowd at the end. You can just picture it in your mind how that whole final sequence goes down. The crowd brawl, maybe a little tougher, but the OCW universe in the ring with Valk and all of them throwing their hands up "Valk! Valk! Valk!" Just a great moment to end a great show, especially the 2nd half.

Wrestler Bio: Tayy Breizee
All Information Below as of Season 14, April 25th, 2019. Please read RPs, promos for more detailed information and stay tuned for further information as it is released. WRESTLER NAME: Taylor Bryce KNOWN AS: Tayy Breizee HOMETOWN: Providence, Rhode Island HEIGHT: 5'10 WEIGHT: 185 AGE: 25 (As of April 25th, 2019) THEME SONG: Back 2 Life - Sean Kingston SIGNATURE MOVES(S): Album Drop, Ride the Wave FINISHERS(S): RnB, Goin' Platinum NOTABLE FUEDS: Dennis Dillinger, Telos ACCOLADES: XYXL Freshman Cover 2015, #3 Album on Hootify (September 2016) Biography: Taylor Bryce (Born February 11th, 1994), known professionally as Tayy Breizee, began in OCW in June of 2018 after being convinced by talent agent Dennis Dillinger to compete. Breizee is an RnB artist out of Rhode Island, who enjoyed moderate success within the music business before attempting to transition into a kickboxing career. After briefly competing as an amateur, Breizee went back to his music career and eventually met Manhattan based talent agent Dennis Dillinger. Dillinger and Breizee enjoyed a 2-0 start in OCW at the end of Season 13, but the combo never managed to draw enough attention or major feuds. Dillinger, blaming this lack of immediate success on his client, back stabbed Breizee, stealing the rights to his intellectual property and ceased all partnership with him in OCW. As of Season 14, Breizee stands as an independent singles competitor on the RIOT brand. He has wins over veteran AC Cobra and fellow wrestler Ricky Ragnarath. After emerging victorious in a career threatening tables match, Tayy suffered several losses in a row, eventually debuting an in-ring interview segment "SpeakBreizee". Currently, Tayy Breizee was last seen driving home to Providence to live with his mother.

Wrestler Bio: Quartz
WRESTLER NAME: Ijitu/Inness/Intell Quartz KNOWN AS: Quartz BIRTHDATE: November 20th, 1985 HOMETOWN: Philadelphia, Pennsylvania HEIGHT: 6'2'' WEIGHT: (currently) 280 lbs THEME SONG: (As Ijitu Quartz): Bury The Light - Casey Edwards (As Inness Quartz): Kill Mercy Within - Korn SIGNATURE MOVES(S): Quartz Elbow (Spinning Elbow Smash) Criplex (Corner Exploder Suplex) Three Minds Clotheslines GOAT's Horn (Spear) SiO2 (Grounded Punch) FINISHERS(S): The Black Phoenix (Death Valley Driver, performed from various positions) Pepperton's Farewell (Rear Naked Choke NOTABLE FUEDS: H2O, AWOL (Cort Marshall/Shephard), Uncrowned, The Inception, Rust Cohle, Kassidy Hayes, Nate Ortiz, Future Idiots, Spider Matsumoto ACCOLADES: 1x OCW World Heavyweight Champion, 3x CCW World Heavyweight Champion, 2x OCW Riot Tag Team Champion, 1x CCW Turmoil Tag Team Champion, 1x OCW Undisputed Tag Team Champion (With Rust Cohle - CQC) Biography: Isaiah Quartz is an American professional wrestler born November 20th, 1985 in Toronto, Canada. Though born in Canada, Quartz was adopted by an American family and was raised his entire life in Philadelphia, PA. He is an American citizen. Quartz grew up in suburban Phildelphia as a massive wrestling fan. His father, a professional wrestler himself, trained and inspired him until the age of 18. His father was a masked wrestler known as The Black Phoenix and performed to marginal crowds for various promotions in the Philadelphia area, as a fan favorite. He dawned a blue and black mask and finished his opponents with a variant Death Valley Driver. In 1998, Quartz' adoptive mother became ill and passed away when he was only 13 years old. Quartz' father would follow soon after, passing away just a few years after. These early losses would influence the young wrestlers decisionmaking throughout his life, well into adulthood. Quartz' began wrestling for the small promotion 'Philadelphia Grand Wrestling' at the age of 15 and continued with the promotion through high school until the age of 18. Little is known to date in OCW as to the events transpiring between Quartz final PGW match in early 2001 and his re-emergence in OCW in 2018, although it is known that he participated in part-time competitions with independent wrestling organizations under various names, though most notably under his surname as simply "Quartz". Though there is very little of his independent career still available on the internet, various written posts reference Quartz' appearance in different ways, from short hair to long, from flabby and out of shape, to toned and physically dominant. As was revealed in 2021, Quartz admitted he spent most of his 20s seeking answers about his youth and his family, eventually discovering he was the adopted son of a family from Toronto, who had since taken up residence in Denver, Colorado. Quartz has since discussed his regrettable decisions to hunt down his biological family and hold grudges against them. It was soon learned that Quartz' biological family were the parents to fellow OCW star Harvey Hamilton Ocean, making the two biological brothers. Quartz did not resurface as a full time mainstream competitor until Early 2018 in the monster wrestling federation OCWFed. Quartz debuted on RIOT 495 under the name 'Ijitu Quartz'. Since joining OCW, Quartz has amassed victories against OCW veterans Jookie Marley, H2O, and Cort Marshall. After a brief stint feuding with Rust Cohle, the two teamed up to become The Cohle Quartz Coalition (Known as C.Q.C.) and won the OCW Riot Tag Team championships at Summercide 2018. At Anniversary XIV, Ijitu Quartz took control and attacked P3, joining Kassidy Hayes and Spider Matsumodo in TTT. The group would reign terror on RIOT until The Clash, when cracks began to form. Eventually, Kassidy Hayes would retire due to a neck injury and CQC's feud with inception would end with a title loss at Certified Greatness 2019. As of April 25th, 2019, following an attempted singles run, Quartz lost a tournament match against Benjamin Moore and disappeared from OCW. However, just weeks later, he reemerged as Inness Quartz to save his tag team partner against Inception at Road 2 Glory 2019. CQC would regain the OCW Tag Team Championships and unify the titles with the CCW Turmoil Tag Team Championships at Wrestlution 13 against Scumciety (Mistico & Jay Fury). After months of dominance as the first ever OCW Undisputed Tag Team Champions, defeating Kasstianity, Lucha Country, the Mega Bucks, and the Uncrowned (among others), C.Q.C. clashed in a #1 contenders match for the CCW World Championship. Quartz would go on to win that match and then his first ever world title at the Clash 2020 against Kassidy Hayes and Wrex. C.Q.C. would end their tag team championship reign around this time, forfeiting the titles after nobody could defeat them. After losing the title back to Kassidy Hayes, Quartz took place in the main event of Wrestlution 14 inside the Elimination Chamber, in a losing effort. After taking months off, he once again reemerged under his blue alter ego, Ijitu Quartz. Quartz immediately attacked 2018 rookie classmate Justin Jehst, finishing him at Summercide 2020. Quartz would soon find a partnership with long-time OCW pest Ryu "Spider" Matsumoto, reigniting the two men's relationship that was formed during their time in TTT. He was rebranded as "The New Storm" Ijitu Quartz. The duo of Quartz and Spider would go on to turn the momentum into a shocking upset against HOFer Nate Oritz on Turmoil, and soon Quartz would capture his first OCW World Championship from former tag team partner Rust Cohle. Quartz and Spider powered through 2020 and 2021, as he became the longest reigning OCW World Champion in the promotion's history at 371 days. During his reign, Quartz would capture championship wins against Rust Cohle, AC Cobra, Nate Ortiz, Kassidy Hayes, KD'Angelo, Bobby Minio, and his brother H2O. The reign ended at the 17th Anniversary show to H2O in a Last Man Standing Match. After taking several months off to recover, Quartz would not return until May 2022, following a series of cryptic vignettes that showcased his history. At Chaos Theory, Quartz returned to OCW as "Inness Quartz" in his hometown of Philadelphia, PA to break up a 3-way brawl consisting of DOC, Antonio Everrett, and Rust Cohle. The four men would parlay the conflict into a "Four Pillars" match at Wrestlution 16 in London England, where Inness Quartz would be the last man standing and capture his 2nd CCW World Championship. In the wake of Wrestlution, Quartz was immediately targeted by another former mentor, Kassidy Hayes. Hayes, now emboldened with a new, more powerful iteration of his faction "Kasstianity", attempted to lure Quartz and H2O both into his employ. After an initial resistance, Hayes assaulted Quartz and attempted to steal the CCW World Championship from his grasp. Kassidy Hayes was unsuccessful at securing the CCW World Championship at Summercide. Despite this, Kassidy would re-emerge after a defense against Nate Ortiz at OCW's return to the Tokyo Dome for Red Sun Rising. Hayes and Matsumoto would ambush Quartz after his match, prompting former ally Rust Cohle to make the save, effectively reforming CQC. CQC would go on a run for several months attempting to stave off Kassidy's influence, eventually leading to a "Team OCW vs Team Kasstianity" battle that saw fellow OCW faithful Colin Locke, Maxx Edwards, Terra Daturas, and Ashley Moore push back against Kasstianity's influence in a successful battle. Kass would have one last match with Quartz at The Clash 2022 where Kassidy would be unable to challenge for the CCW World Championship ever again should he lose. Kassidy Hayes would lose the match and Quartz would move onto a feud with Wrex. Despite only briefly crossing paths in the past, Wrex and Quartz battled over the CCW World Championship for 4 months, competing in three matches at OCW's 18th Anniversary, RIOT 600, and Road 2 Glory 2023. It was during this time that Quartz would form a partnership with Joe Deaver, an attempt to mentor the younger wrestler. The two would swap victories in a series that also saw newcomer John Carter unsuccessfully cash in his Future Investment briefcase at RIOT 600. Wrex would eventually emerge victorious in a "Scum City Deathmatch" at Road 2 Glory that would cause a significant injury to Quartz right-eye during a ladder spot in the match. Quartz would not miss much action due to the injury, instead opting to wear a large bandage on his head. He would face The Last Blacksmith at Wrestlution 17 in a losing effort after three consecutive Horse Stomps. After his match with The Last Blacksmith, Quartz and Joe Deaver came to the aid of DOC to push back against Kassidy Hayes and H2O once again. However, it was quickly revealed that Quartz had once again become "Ijitu Quartz", superkicking his protege in Joe Deaver and joining forces with his estranged brother in H2O, who also denounced his partnership with Kassidy Hayes. The two would become "The Perfect Storm". In 2023-2024, the Perfect Storm would become a dominant force in the tag scene, pursuing the OCW World Tag Team Championships. Despite their efforts, they would find themselves embroiled in conflicts with the likes of Paul Pugh and Rust Cohle, Joe Deaver and Chris Greene, The Uncrowned, and the Future Idiots. After a strong start to the tag team, they began a long losing streak that eventually caused them to question their motivations. After several stop-start attempts to capture the championships, Ryu Matsumoto would return to summon Bunny M and Ligermask (Biger Lunny) to end the team at Wrestlution 18. While the duo was unsuccessful in winning the match, it was revealed in the aftermath that both H2O and Quartz had been working through dangerous injuries through most of their run and the team disbanded shortly afterwards to focus on their individual health. After 7 months recovering from a torn ACL in his left knee, Quartz returned at OCW's 20th Anniversary event to interrupt Ryu Matsumoto's rant about the current generation. Despite Spider's best efforts, Quartz made short work of his former mentor at Ambition 100.

I am no Jehst/Morrison, but I am just jacked to be back on the weekly grind. Here you go! - Early show dominated by Uncrowned vs Tayy/Aisu storylines. I always appreciate when people go into shows and RP for their matches. It makes the match itself feel more important and even though I was a part of it/knew the result, watching it back made the match more enjoyable. The ole' Brits do a great job referencing back on Tayy and Doc's two previous matches, making the booking feel more organic as well. MATCH: Taigamasuku vs Brody Braddock 12 minutes, only 6 if you watch matches on x2 speed like I do. Not bad at all. Not sure about all the jump-cuts, probably a way to get rid of the dead space where they were overselling/taking too long to reset. I like seeing DM's posted on the card, because that means the rookie did a good enough job being booked. I think Braddock's mechanics looked good, potential for sure - Although... REEEEEEEEEEEEEEE on using my grandpappies moves. I understand he's been made aware of that though, so it's all good. - P.S. Stop trying to distract the ref so you can hit the rookie in the dick, Taiga!! Good debut. Wish it would have come with an RP so I could learn more about Braddock, though. - Without offering critique of my own work, I remember Cort's review of Anniversary bring up the dynamic between Tayy and Dillinger with Dillinger owning the rights... There is a reference to the deeper story here, but more to come. Stay tuned! No need to talk about my own MATCH vs Uncrowned, other than to say it dragged on a bit long. Even with cutscenes/entrances removed it was 15 minutes. This is why I watch in x2 speed! I recommend everyone do it! (outside of PPV/Main Events) They kicked our ass and I'm excited to see where things go for those two! - The return of Loki! A lot of Turmoil representation on this Riot, I've noticed. Not a bad thing. Can the Bubba armor be any use at all in helping one of the least successful OCW wrestlers conquer the most feared one in the company? - Stupid AC Cobra. Funny promo, Again, even when done in a purely comedic fashion, these pre-match deals make the matches themselves better, to me. You always remember sequences in the back of your mind when watching it back. Also, I hope Telos kicks his ass. smh. - As always, Valkyrie cuts a promo like few others in OCW. I am an unabashed Valk mark and will pop at anything she does. The way she can turn around any scenario and still be a likable underdog is inspiring. More old school vs new school here as well. I enjoyed this one. Karissa's line "a punch, a kick will never change..." was awesome. - http://media.discordapp.net/attachments/499580475778793472/507575493017468938/image0.png?width=50&height=30 MATCH: Telos vs AC Cobra Only 8 minutes. Nice and succinct. The dropkick spot ending with the spear is fucking great. The type of storytelling you can get in a competitive environment still blows my mind sometimes. Really sells Telos as a giant force of nature early in the match. Unfortunately, most of that is undressed when AC starts slamming him and especially after the Mr. Kennedy Victory Roll spot... AC had the lead throughout, but not by a whole lot. Fun to see somewhat close matches after a mostly blowout filled Anny 14. - Sgt. Cort Marshall! A slightly different direction for Cort this time, which is a nice change of pace. He's a great writer so I'm not surprised that he was able to blend a skeptical worrisome Cort with the same old shit talker we love. This moves him closer to the traditional face than the comedic one in the past and I am here for it. Unfortunately, he's going to get killed by KD. MATCH: Valkyrie vs Karissa Dawson Clocks in a bit under 9 minutes. I don't have to tell you who I'm rooting for here. Admittedly, I haven't seen a whole lot of Karissa since I didn't watch a ton of Turmoil last year, so shame on me for that. Her theme is awesome, even if it's not a perfect fit. Well done CAW this year as well and I really like the moveset from what I saw. Makes me even more embarrassed I didn't watch more Turmoil! An unbelievable match to start. Karissa just kicks the holy shit out of Valk for like 3 minutes. I have no idea how Valk fought back to win this thing... All I know is the finish was frantic, it was fast, and it looked really well done. That god damn Angel's Serenity comes out of no where and this one is almost on par with the triple threat match against FloJo and Alexa in terms of pop. Go Valk! - There are so many great lines in this MJF promo, I can't list them all. My favorite by far is this number: "I have a few questions for you producer guy. One, why are you stalking Maxwale Jaykub Freeman at the airport? Two, did a 10 year old who dreams of one day stalking MJF in an airport just like yourself write that question for you??". Haven't seen him wrastle yet, but if you're going to mimic/parody a real life wrestler, at least be like Warren and be a dope ass writer! At this rate, I think our MJF is the real charismatic one and that other white guy is a knock off. - Oohhhh, scary stuff happening on Turmoil. Valkyrie throwing down the handicap gauntlet already! I imagine that this ??? promo implies that there could be another, unknown force that Kasstianity has brought into the fray. Also - "Take a look at Kassidy Hayes and his friends: they are Main Eventers, they are Champions…" http://media.discordapp.net/attachments/499580475778793472/507575493017468938/image0.png?width=50&height=30 - RP of the night goes to Bobby fucking Minio. He doesn't say much and I don't know him very well in discord/DMs/personally at all... but if Paul Pugh is my in-ring idol, this man is my on the mic idol. This whole thing is excellent from start to finish and I am a sucker for RP's that have consistent flow from one show to another rather than randomly breaking into pieces. Masterpiece, plain and simple. I won't even talk about the content of the RP, just go read it! MATCH: Bobby Minio vs MJF Super long match, which is not a bad thing on it's face, but I have mixed feelings about this one. 15 minutes and 21 seconds. Just a lot of weird things going on and not a whole lot of memorable spots. Bobby wiffs a lot, and as the guy I'm cheering for, I reee at that. MJF never really loses control, continuing to pound those legs over and over. The match really just dragged on too long. I would say it's because Bobby said fuck your finish, but even then it would have been 14 minutes. It was just never really a match and one sided contests are not super fun to watch. MJF does a great job being a heel and it's good for him to get over. Let's chock this one up to Bobby Minio being super fucked up and hungover. Can't wait to see each stars next match! - P3 show... I... don't really know what's going on here. I was not expecting this route from Mugen and Drago when I heard they were teaming up, but if it means a new confused between-two-ferns type of guest each week, then bring it on. Also - "CQC make ATTACK on us and spray shet logo. We angry. Vary angry. Right Mugen?" http://media.discordapp.net/attachments/499580475778793472/507575493017468938/image0.png?width=50&height=30 - http://media.discordapp.net/attachments/499580475778793472/507575493017468938/image0.png?width=50&height=30 - Who's crazier; Quartz or Heather Angelo? I don't know. Kasstianity has infected the mind. At this rate, TTT and Kasstianity are well on their way to owning half the OCW roster. MATCH: Drago Cesar vs Loki What. The. Fuck. One of the worst OCW stars going up against Drago Cesar... This match was fun to watch. That Bubba armor must have given Loki some kind of super-power. Not only does Loki fight hard and compete with the Light Heavyweight Champion, but he gets him to 2 colors first and legitimately looks like he might knock off Drago. Unfortunately for Loki, a mistimed kick to the midsection leaves him defenseless looking like an ACME cartoon as he stares a Tiger Uppercut in the face before being pinned. A very valiant effort. PS. Those that are bad at the game, please just watch Drago Cesar matches, he is the epitome of efficiency within FPR. There is never missed damage or opportunity and he still makes all of his matches thoroughly enjoyable. - I'll just leave this here: http://media.discordapp.net/attachments/234383494921322496/509031066569408522/unknown.png - http://media.discordapp.net/attachments/499580475778793472/507575493017468938/image0.png?width=50&height=30 - Great to see TLB get into it and develop the character more. It's very early but at least he did his interview with Stacy. Was very disappointed that Tyler's didn't happen... idk if he forgot or it wasn't posted or what happened, but it was a bummer for sure. MAIN EVENT: Cort Marshall vs KD* Wow! The face was put over in ways I cannot even comprehend! The usual dominant KD looked totally different than his usual self this week, I'm not sure what happened. Cort dominated the match from start to finish, Hogan-esque scoop slams and flexing all night long. I was thinking the whole time (okay, here is where KD comes back and starts beating this sissy) but it just never happened. Mistiming revs, bad choice on mid moves, just an overall off night for KD for the title. Fully expect KD to bring the pain to whomever has the unfortunate honor to deal with him next. Congrats to Cort Marshall for his first singles title! This is the 2nd consecutive time that Cort Marshall has won a championship right after being beaten by CQC. So... I guess, you're welcome, Cort! - The post-match RP was amazing too. I am feeling all the triumph and face heat that Cort deserves. You kinda get to feel good for the scumbag. I am also incredibly interested in Shepherd's voice as a singular entity, seeing as how I don't have a lot of memorable Shepherd moments as an individual. This AWOL thing has a chance to go in many different interesting directions and I love it. I loved the first shoe. More please.
