From The Eyes of The Revolution Evolution #2
Michael Morrison replied to Blade's topic in Player News
Freakin' aye. Ask and you shall receive, we're getting a new Reactor. I guess this is what a blonde with big tits feels like on a daily basis... nice. -
I've been waiting to hear something like this. I remember when you had the long hair and facepaint... when you went Metallica on us and cut the locks, so you could be more aerodynamic when you went sky diving and then started up with Halycon Way lookin' like Triple H :P But seriously, it's just cool to see one of the musicians I know, actually getting signed. Nice label logo, BTW.

I've come to the conclusion that Smythe's neck is made of pure titanium. No man can withstand firepower of that magnitude... your head should have popped clean off after the 4th clothesline or so.

The opening of the show with Steve’s RP, reminded me of how TNA starts their shows: with a short bit that is immediately followed by the TNA intro music and video. I always liked that about TNA as it kind of puts you in the right mindset before actually starting the show. I have to admit that I was a big Nate Ortiz fan when I came to OCW, so it was cool to see him all “Mad” and stuff, not stepping aside and actually going right after the title. It was refreshing… then VerSuse had to be Mr. Buzzkill. Actually, I’m really interested to see what he has planned, concerning his remarks once Nate was “escorted” from his presence. The main thing I liked about the Judas Hallows/ Omega Dragon RP is how it setup the match. Some people might not think about it, while others may look for it every time they watch wrestling, but it’s a tricky thing to explain why two guys want to wrestle each other and make it more interesting than just, “Grrrrr, me no likey him”. The stunt gone wrong, leading the initial meeting… the way each superstar showed a little bit about themselves and the differences between them… and just how it all flowed in a short, but intriguing RP – it was very well done. As for the match between Judas and OD, it seemed to run a bit long. I know allot of people are reluctant to end a match without a finisher, but if it isn’t a PPV match, I’d suggest trying to end it as soon as you can. I’m not saying to try and rush to victory, but if someone is Red/Orange, try to hit your finisher if the opportunity presents itself. Once your opponent is Double Red, forget about trying to regain that blinking finisher and just hit your signature move or a reasonable ending move. I, for one, wouldn’t hold it against anyone if they hit me with a finisher at Red/Orange or used ended the match appropriately when I’m DR. I’d much rather have a good quick match, than go on for another 10 minutes with the “I’m injured” animation throughout. After a while of that animation, I honestly want to get pinned lol. That’s just an opinion though… feel free to tell me to fuck off. Oh, Smythe and his cuz, Wesley (Appropriately named after Wesley Snipes, who’s been referred to as the man who brought Dark Sexy Back). It’s an interesting dynamic they have going there, but I’m still “da’wondering” where it will lead to in the future. See what I did there? Wesley then happens to run into Reed and either makes a big mistake or a bold move. You can’t really tell the difference until all is settled, but I’m gonna guess it’s the first one. Wesley stands up for his cuz; thus leading to a match against the EX-Champeen. I may have been gone for a while, but I remember doing the LotR charts and Ed Reed was no pushover… but that’s obvious when he always seems to have gold on his person. We’re introduced to a possible future confrontation between Mace and Nate Ortiz, as both men exchange “less than friendly” words. I happen to agree with Nate’s remarks about how Mace relies on his “friends” to get by… cus during my match with Mace, Seth Irving was totally giving me the stink eye from the crowd and it threw me off my game. You tell him, Nate. The Reed/Wesley match was great. Look at lil’ Wonder take it to the EX-Champ. Unfortunately, when Westley Snipes (yeah, I’m going back to that reference) said, “Always bet on black” in Passenger 57, he should have said, “Always bet on the lighter shade of black”. None the less, the back and forth exchanges near the end were fun to watch and it looked like Reed almost had it won earlier in the match, if not for that damn “Headache” animation after the lucha combo move. He still managed to pull the rabbit out of the hat and gave us a good show with Wesley. Carlos seems to have stepped into some deep BEEP. Taco Bell references, a mysterious letter followed by screaming in Spanish – oh yeah, it looks like the voice is the least of his problems. Leon “Achey Breaky” Heart tries to enjoy his recent title win with the crowd, but VerSuse has his hand steady and ready over that buzzkill buzzer once again. What would have been a definite crowd pleasing moment, when Leon announced he was willing to give Nate his rematch on Turmoil, quickly turned into an exhibition of power by V.F.M. Checks and balances my friends, checks and balances. But who knows, maybe the surprise mystery opponent for Leon will turn out to be twice as mark worthy. Sorry, Death, you lose! It was Professor Watermelon/Plum? Yeah, Kip’s right… that isn’t a good combo after all. Poe is a no show so on we go to keep the flow, because Even Knox is ready to throw them bows… ya know? Smythe gives props to his protégé, while still keeping him in check… man I felt like Mark Wahlberg when I typed that. Anyways, Malu also speaks, but much like Smythe, it left me confused. He either wants to rape some birds, or shoot them… or maybe both. I don’t know, but it didn’t sound nice. Even with high gas prices, Evan Knox and Kip Conrad made sure to fill up on premium fuel and had no problems hitting the gas full blast once the bell rang. I mean, they went out there like warriors and just kept coming at each other like their lives were at stake. The aggressive offence from both made for one hell of a match with little to no time to catch your breath. It was a kind of match that made people happy they saved up to come watch the show. Kip takes the loss like a… well, a douchebag, but it’s his own fault for drinking a Watermelon/Plum smoothie before the match. I mean, seriously… Plum? I’m surprised Kip didn’t unleash a raging pile of purple BEEP while wrestling… although, it would have made for an interesting ice breaking conversation for all those in the audience. Despite the douchbaggery, Mania has some important news for Kip, regarding RIOT. Stay tuned. Hehe… that Morrison, what a cooky guy. I just wanted to say I appreciate all the comments made about the RP. I was worried it would bring on a stampede of crickets, but I’m relieved people enjoyed the Nutcase scene and the RP in general. As for the match, Mace had some kind words about my performance, but I did slip up a few times. I won’t get into details, but I was good to finally have an official match after so long. I really missed “being in the ring” and I can’t wait for my next match. Alright, so an illegal Mexican and a Natzy walk into a bar… wait, you heard this one? Nah, I’m just messin. Cruz bumps into Ryder and we are hit with the big reveal, when it comes to Carlos’ big problem letter from earlier. Apparently, someone tipped off immigration and Carlos might be practicing his border jumping skills in the near future. Don’t worry, Cruz… jumping over a fence is like riding a bike: You never forget, but always make sure to protect your juevos. Well, it’s late and I’m going to bed, but don’t feel left out if I didn’t mention you, I still have 1 ½ pages left to go through.

Does this mean I have to win the match or just show eagerness to win the match?
-
Umm... I'll play along... Bestess card ever?
-
Maybe if he was able to come down to the ring with his 72 virgins, Godfather style.
-
...I'm a little confused about the ginger bread man comment. You talking old-school ginger bread man, or the Shrek version, cus I haven't a clue on how a ginger bread man is suppose to act or if it's a good or bad thing to act like a ginger bread man. Please clarify so I can fully appreciate the comment/joke.

Wooooo, as soon as I return, I get to be in a PPV. This is what Rhino must have felt like when he left WWE and went to TNA, except without the whole alcoholism thing and I don't scream everything I say.... although maybe I should start. Mike: PASS THE GODDAMN KETCHUP PLEAAAAASE! Dude: OK... there's no need to yell at... Mike: GOOOOOORE, GOOOOOORE GOOOOOOOOOOOOOR!!!!! Dude: -_-
-
Thanks, Valmont. It's been a while since I wrote my own RP/Interview, so I was a little nervous. It started off as a short, simple explanation, then turned into this... my mind wanders.

Missing RIOT Video [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7h584XQX00w]YouTube - Mad Men[/ame] Stevens did a good job on putting it together, so I was bummed out to see that it somehow didn't make the show. Parker posted on one of the forums, but in case you missed out or were wondering. Anyone else really pumped about the PPV? I've gots that funny feeling in my tummy, not like when I first saw a female nipple, but more like when you're about to go watch a movie that you've been waiting to see on the silver screen for years.

......... who else chuckled just a little? Be honest.

Finished watching the show and I gotta say it was pretty damn solid. There are some good feuds heating up with good RP's to keep em' burning. The only RP that kind of left me wanting was the last one, concerning Valmont and Knox... I was ready to see some fisticuffs flying out n' about or at least a thumb to the eye, but allas, everyone's eye escaped unthumbed. Perhaps it's one of them anticipation hooks or something. Glad to read how people are still excited about seeing Mad Mike in the ring. I couldn't wait to get back into action and Mad Mike working with Parker Stevens was inevitable. And don't worry, Versus, I probably would have done the same thing... except on Photoshop... and probably better quality... and without having to use the "enlarge image" option to make my shlong visible. Either way, seeing as you unloaded most of your baby batter on my particular image, I'll take it as a compliment in some weird, non-homoerotic way O_o I'll probably start working on some banners here soon, not to take away from Parker's valiant efforts :P And hopefully they will go without the "rolls of da cinamon" remakes (Smokin' Aces reference). Still gotta do my cliffnotes. Back to the show... Favorite Quote: Deano - Are you reading Cosmopolitan again, Leon? Leon - It's teaching me ten ways to satisfy a woman! Deano - Ten ways? You don't need ten. You only need one, and the Excellence of Sexcellence has it. Favorite Match: Smythe vs. Aries - See, Smythe, I didn't overlook this gem of a match. I just liked how the match flowed and kept me entertained. It was a close one too, which always helps peak my interest in a match. I also appreciate how long you guys kept the fight outside the ring. I tend to immediately just run back into the ring, of fear that I'll ruin the match with an accidental count out, but you guys kept it going out there. One last thing: Kip, you may have suffered defeat from Nate (I can block punches even while throwing a punch) Ortiz, but always remember one thing... ThreeDavesGrace wants to be your friend. Also, someone who edited a video on this show, watches "So You Think You Can Dance?"... but who?

Wait.... you're not Asian?

I dig the "What If" matches. I actually do that allot when it comes to sports or tournaments. What if so n' so had faced whatsy who? I can't help it... like, what if Cherry wore a different outfit... would she look less chubby in the ring? http://i30.tinypic.com/122hgdt.jpg I also enjoyed the Marvel "What If?" series. http://images2.wikia.nocookie.net/marveldatabase/images/thumb/8/87/What_If_44.jpg/300px-What_If_44.jpg He'd take a look around and say one word: it starts with an F, ends with a UCK... and maybe bang Megan Fox, because you don't sleep for that long without getting a bad case of the blues and our chicks are way hotter than those 50's wimin. http://images.google.com/url?q=http://www.lib.odu.edu/exhibits/womenshistorymonth/2006/athletics/basketball1950s.jpg&usg=AFQjCNG_27MwZ2Y49T7fJUofvR1tUFzN4A Yeah... that's harsh.

That's it, I want a rematch and this time, nothing that involves directional skill with the joystick. If for some reason, you refuse or are unable to compete, I will automatically assume that you fear me and realized I am the better man.
-
Not even close to be being done with the show, but I did want to mention how well the layout and designs came out this year for Lution 3. Well done.
-
That is correct, sir.

Wasn't sure if people would catch on to my attempts of leaving Trips to fend for himself. I actually tried numerous times to escape the cage, thinking that Death Row would let me leave so they could double team Trips, but damnit if they didn't pull me down each time. I actually liked how the ending turned out, with MMM robbing Death Row of sure victory at the last second, leaving it up to a one-on-one situation to decide the match. Wasn't what I was gunning for, but a nice surprise. All in all, I had a blast doing the match, watching the match. On another note, can anyone guess where I got the Jaysin speech that played at the end? Only a number of vets will probably have a clue.

Wrestlution Press Conference, MUST READ
Michael Morrison replied to Brad Bauer's topic in Promo Room!
Still confirming some angles before Lution, so I wanna make sure it all falls through before we send in the Press Conf. RP to make sure it all makes sense. But yeah, sounds like a fun idea. -
http://www.ocwfed.net/recapppv/Wrestlution%202008/Banners/tripsmmm%20copy.jpg Technically, it's called 4 Corners of Wood... or 4CoW for short, but Mad Wood was my porn star name, so it all works out :P

I have you down as facing Seth Irving on TURMOIL - 2/27/08 - Week 8 (Loss) And then facing Lucas Crowe on TURMOIL - 3/4/08 - Week 9 (win)
-
Other than some of the fades matching the characters (IE: Cross had a fade effect in the shape of a keyhole... get it? Prison... locked up.) I really didn't notice anything. The new Lution symbol kind of reminded me of the first OCW site and the music was the same in that Scorpion vs. Ryu fight clip? I'm not getting any of the easter eggs, am I? EDIT: Was so busy trying to think of possible Easter Eggs, that I forgot comment on the video itself. To some it up in one word... NIIIIIIIICE. So nice, I overlooked how you went Heaton on me and spelled my name wrong.
-
That is one good lookin' card, Revan. I'm hoping it will take Deano's eyes off my "attire" for a while...... STOP LOOKING AT ME!
