You will need more than that. You'll need integrity... dedication. You'll need an iron will and balls to match... the ability to answer the call at a moments notice. But most of all, you'll need a job... because, like he mentioned, it cost about $50. There are other options beside the Dazzle: such as the Pinnacle Movie Studio Box (what I use) and Roxio has a very simple one out there as well, but I don't know if it comes with any software for editing. EDIT: Roxio, apparently has a device, specifically made for video game capturing, but that sucker is running for about $82 on Amazon.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K_CpoLmP2g4&feature=player_embedded Yes... at least that 2nd RP wasn't weird. And who the hell is NO.2... and who does NO.2 work for? Before I forget to mention it: Crowe now looks like Wez, from Mad Max. So, Wez... what do you think of Crowe's new due? I think that reaction is a bit harsh, but to each their own. Coincidentally, we see another promo from Mez. Huh. Mez... Wez... Miz... Wiz. There's gotta be a connection here somehow. Speaking of connections and people who look like other people, but not really: I still can't get over how much Sting reminds me of Jim Carrey now. http://img38.picoodle.com/i59h/stebag/rp8q_756_u9939.jpghttp://goldenidol.files.wordpress.com/2011/01/jim-carrey_snl-black-swan.jpg I"m gonna be honest about JJ (AKA: Jeremiah Johnson): right now, it's like nailing a fugly chic. It looks like it might take a while before you get to the pop, but you're already in there, so you might as well ride it out. But seriously, I've been anticipating what this "revelation" will be... Unfortunately, the October break couldn't have come at a worst time for some angles. No worries, I guess I can wait a little bit longer to see the end-game. It better be good, though. Like the commentators pointed out, the last match was a nice way to end the... season? What ever you want to call it. Just wish the last song played out all the way. Oh yeah, I have the internet... which means I can just Youtube it. You ready for some of that oldschool Triple H, Picard? http://archuletafanscene.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/05/Make-It-So-776665.jpg

Just wanted to take the time to thank Trevor and Aries for doing the Mad Roulette Match. Unfortunately, I was unaware that you guys submitted the match, thus I failed to write-up a descent RP to build it up or even explain the match. Considering you guys put on a fine match, I feel like I let you guys down and I apologize for that. None the less, thank you both for humoring me and completing the match. I hope you guys had fun with it. So, to clarify: The Mad Roulette Match was a "Chain the Pain" match. The match is geared towards those who enjoy the purity of wrestling. The commentators kinda went over the basic premise of the match but here are the rules, in case anyone else wanted to try it out. 1) 10 minute time limit (for the show at least) 2) No Strikes 3) No running attacks 4) No dive attacks 5) Irish Whips allowed from standing position (Whip cannot be initiated by running at your opponent) 7) Opponent can be pinned once they show limb damage 8) Signature/Finishing maneuvers are not required but can be utilized if desired I wanted to implement more matches like this, but considering the current discussions and the difficulty of finding those willing to participate, this may be the first and last Mad Roulette Match. I will likely post up rules for the other matches I had planned -- in case others wish to try them out for fun. My hat is off to the OCW bookers, as it can be rather frustrating just trying to book one match, let alone 3-5. As for the rest of the show, I like the 3 page shows lol. I know that probably makes me sound lazy, but it's like bing-bam-boom and Bob's your cross-dressing uncle. Jacob, if only you knew the angle I wanted to use for your retirement lol. None the less, the sentimental words and introduction of the Lution necklace gave it a nice warm n' fuzzy feeling... cue Aries. I wasn't sure if the Ortiz music was just someone josh'n around with Aries, or if he really intended to use the sacred sounds of the Franchize, but seeing as he used it again, one can assume it was done with purposeful intent. It's definitely a bold and attention grabbing decision... but it pushes a button when I hear him use it. Perhaps, that's what he was going for. I do, however, like the way his version sounds. I'm assuming it's a live recording, as it has a nice echo; making it sound as if it's actually playing in the RIOT arena. Condom commercial was pretty damn funny. I thought the dude was going to give the kid the bag and tell him, "Here's the cereal... and here's $3 bucks. Now... I'm going to leave you here... so you can either use the $ to buy the cereal and walk your crying ass home... or you can use the $ to take the bus. I really don't care what you choose, just remember you want to get home before it gets dark. Trust me on that one. Laterz." Crowe, I gotta say... I kinda prefer the poofy shirt look. Bring back the poof. Don't hide what you are. Live the poof... respect the poof... be the poof... you poofter. I think Jeremiah Johnson (best porn name since Val Venis), did a good job promoting his upcoming match. I never thought I'd be intrigued to see how someone will lose a match. Interesting hook, sir.

September 2 Remember (October Edition)
Michael Morrison replied to Mr.Sensation's topic in The Daily Suplex
I am also a fan of Tag Matches, but even when we had a larger and active roster; trying to get all four people online at the same time was like pulling teeth. Then you had to worry about their connection an blah blah blah. Even so, the conversations, alone, made it all worth while and the matches were all-around fun to be in. Maybe we should have a Tag Team based PPV, where everyone is forced to enter a group. The group with the most wins, must then face each other for some kind of prize or contendership. "Tag Team Turmoil" or "Divide and Conquer"? -
Yeah. Seems to happen every year, around this time... or maybe I'm making that up. My memory isn't exactly the stuff of legend. Either way, solid show and Trevor was supposed to be wearing what my tailor made for him... figures. Defiant to the end, ay? We'll see about that.

I get the feeling that Jay frequents the local Karaoke bars. And by the way; I'm not crazy... I've just... seen things, you people wouldn't believe. Attack ships on fire, off the shoulder of Orion. I watched C-beams glitter in the dark near the Tannhauser Gate. All those moments will be lost in time... like tears in the rain.

Mad Roulette: Answer the Call
Michael Morrison replied to Michael Morrison's topic in OCW The Magazine
I know you're used to having your way with mountain animals, but I was raised by civilized members of society... who taught me how to outsmart my opponent. To put it in terms you'd understand: Why chase the sheep... when you can convince the sheep to walk it's sweatery ass right to you? But seriously, it's good to see you being active on the boards, Chris and I hope to see you do well in the ring. I hear you're still keeping up with the old training regiment: http://cdn.buzznet.com/assets/users2/tao316/default/big-sheep--gallery-msg-1082542652-2.jpg Lesnar would be proud. http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c47/Spoonermania/the_steve_userbarcopy.jpg -
George Lopez as Lord Shark? DVR is set. Another odd promo with disturbing imagery. I'm not sure what the goal is for these random images, but I suddenly have the urge to buy a sniper rifle and make someone's head go back, and to the left... back, and to the left. What was I talking about? Who's apartment is this... and why am I sitting on 50 copies of 'Catcher In the Rye'? Dane discovers why no one ever buys chocolate that comes from Puerto Rico. Plus it would melt before it ever reached the fridge. That reminds me: Why the hell does no one in Puerto Rico have AC? Nothing but ceiling fans. You can tell someone is well-off if their ceiling fan has 5 speeds. Speaking of disturbing facts: Tiaras and Toddlers... who the hell watches that, outside of mentally-ill mothers and pedos? I'm scared to even look-up the ratings of that show, because if it's higher than I'm thinking, it might be enough to make me move to a tropical island where no one has AC. Trevor makes a statement when he *'Good Bye Horses' begins to play*... O.O Hey now, that's what I'm talking about. Anyways, Trevor makes a clear and game-changing *starts to swivel his shoulders* statement when he *there go the hips too*... when he secures a solid win over...*cue mangina* OMG. Matsuda totally destroyed Nick Kage! Daaaaaamn! *Standing ovation* <-- That's for the Epic Brawl that ends in the bosses office. Very nice. Darkness secures another dub, in a match that pits Coal vs. 24K. Get it? Because Smythe is dark... like coal.... and if you put enough pressure on coal, it can turn into a diamond. Learned that from the Superman movie... which may or may not be accurate. None the less, congrats.

Ha! Someone better start going oldschool...

Indeed.

As I announced during last week's episode of RIOT: I have been given the green-light to incorporate some new and unused match-types into the show. Originally, I intended to use Trevor McManus and Dane Xavier as the first test subjects; but seeing as McManus loves being the guy who takes giant, steaming, Scottish deuces on every party; I've had to make some adjustments. Having said that; I need two OCW members to step-up and become the first to answer the call. If you're not currently booked for RIOT, feel free to inform me (via PM). More than likely, the first two to contact me, will be the first to be selected, so don't hesitate. This could also be a good way for rookies to make a splash while getting some face time. Now, before you just jump into something, allow me to explain the concept a bit. Most - if not all - of the matches were conceived by my twisted brain and were designed to be both; entertaining to watch and fun to play. In other words: these will be "gimmick" matches and should not be taken seriously... for the most part. I wanted to try something to battle the repetitive 1-on-1 matches that we typically see on RIOT, while offering some fun alternatives, which won't take away from the stipulation matches we typically save for PPVs: such as Cage or Ladder Matches. If successful; perhaps members will even utilize the match-types during Dark Matches with friends and so on. So here's to new ideas, the betterment of OCW and to the future of this fine establishment that Jaysin, and all of you, helped to build. Thank you for your time. OCW 4 Life, Mr. Morrison

I'm the one who knocks! Some people might get that one. Anyways... very intriguing stuff.
-
I was going to ask why OCW staff is still setting up Jaysin's office, despite his obvious lack of physical presence at the shows... but considering his mental state, it seems more plausible. Dupree burns bright and we all know that vampires no likey the sun. Feel the burn, you pastey punk. I call shenanigans on Hostile: you know damn well the show was sold out - ain't no way you got tickets. None the less, I bet you wish you stayed your ass home, tonight. I'm sorry to hear about Phoenix Ind., Mania... maybe if you didn't smoke it to the ground, you wouldn't have to come back to this madhouse. Then again, you belong here... with the rest of us. So come on down and see if you can float... we all float, down here. Matsuda, I won't spoil what you said, but I applaud the reasoning behind your desire to hire a translator. The world must hear your message... clearly. Aries might as well start calling himself 24k... because just like a diamond, if you add it to a ring, it makes you look good. *bling*

Look at that... people reacting to a promo. Will wonders never cease. None the less, it's an interesting topic. When ever I hear people, giving speeches about materialism and the affects it has on society... I always wonder: are they trying to really help people to free themselves of this lifestyle... or are they using the society's subconscious guilt to obtain their own goal? I mean, really, if they feel so differently about said society, there are still places in the world where people live in jungles and have no idea what an iPhone is. Can't be that hard to buy a plane ticket. So what is it, Anonymous: you trying to change society, or simply change who they follow?
-
Ha! The He-Man theme... I should have called it. Damnit.
-
Awwww... you guys brought out the old Asylum graphics. The addition of Brian Mumford, to the Asylum commentary team, was genius -- Such a fitting persona to the atmosphere of the show. The fact that he was given an open mic with no filters; is doubly genius. Hide your towels and immediately wash them if he ever visits. LAWL. The tag-match video was so tiny. Hostile goes mosh-pit on ROX's ass. Sting had the bat; Foley had the barbed-wire bat; HHH had the sledge and Hostile has... a mic. Back up off me, fool *mic to head*. Recognize! I don't think Mania is afraid of mics, then again... it's gotta be difficult to CFC a mic. Maybe Hostile is onto something here. Ms. Sullivan from "BUST" magazine? Now that we know Dupree's secret sexual fantasies, Dupree is still doing a great job of being the hero of OCW. Really, due to his catch phrases and what not, people should hate this guy, but when ever he appears on a show, I think: baby-face. He doesn't bitch or wine... he just does his thing and entertains in the ring. CROWE vs DIMSMORE: Dimsmore, not only wore a flannel shirt and sneakers... but did he have holes in hit tights? Actually, one was so big, it might be considered, more as a "missing segment". I looked past it, though, as I enjoyed the Ghostbusters cover and that last diddy that played near the end of the match. It sounds vaguely familiar, but I can't pinpoint the tune. I was looking forward to the ME, considering the history and fun-facts that Smythe and Trevor brought to my attention. Dupree - I know I poked fun at your RP, but your wrestling attire is cleaner than my towels... which I've washed 5 times since watching Asylum.
-
You cut deep, sir... you cut deep :P I'm glad some members dug the musics. Some might remember that I used a similar version a few years back, but lost it during the HD crash, so I had to re-edit another version. It's short, but damnit if it wasn't a pain to edit on both occasions. I enjoyed the premier of RJ Navera -- I like his attire and intro. I'm not, so much a fan of the song, within itself, but it fits his intro. Also not a fan of the MIZ clips or the waterfall of sparklys; considering he's a relative unknown. If his debut would have been a ME match or if Jaysin would have made a big deal of his acquisition through marketing or promos... then maybe, but otherwise, it feels presumptuous. Crowe -- you have some nerve, talking about my choice of attire... but I got something for you on the next RIOT, punk. I warned you all to watch how you address me. Dupree's intro video is still at the top of the charts. Gets me revved up... but not in a weird sexual way. Alright... maybe a little. Looks like there is some trouble, already, in Rebelution. It's not unheard of, to see a civil war erupt during a revolution. I wonder if they have what it takes to make this partnership work. I agree with Parker, when it comes to Smythe's theme music. It isn't so aggressive that it overshadows the character, while instilling a sense that something important is about to go down. Reminds me of a hip-hop version of the theme they played at the end of 'Last of the Mohicans'... which I still hold as one of the greatest scenes in all of movie history lol. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ii3KhHCu6Os&feature=related Anyways, I'm glad that Smythe realizes his past mistakes, concerning his motives and attempts to win-over audience. You lost yourself in the excitement and adulation -- happens to the best of them. Let's hope that your returning focus can put you back on top. Dane has a secret and does a good job of building the suspense, by not revealing the goods, but the longer he delays, the bigger the build-up. The bigger the build-up, the higher the expectations. I was worried about Dimsmore's turn to the bottle, but the inclusion of the mysterious voice, adds some intrigue to an otherwise, dark angle. ROX quits his job as Xavier's... gopher? Not too familiar with their history together, now Xavier is looking for a replacement. I want it to be someone familiar, but believable. I really hope it's Carlos Cruz, as I'm sure he'd be the worst (albeit, comedic) assistant to Dane's elitist persona. The face-off between Matsuda and Dupree, was short and to the point, but both superstars are currently on the rise, so it gots me alls exciteds. With Matsuda's RP skills and Dupree's natural charisma, I hope something comes of it. Trevor McManus seems lost in the sea of crazy that is OCW at the moment. Perhaps, Mr. Morrison will try to help him find his way... or push him further out into sea? Hm... who knows? Good show, everybody. Mr. Morrison is pleased.
-
Glad to hear it. I'll be the first to admit, I was kinda bummed out when I noticed the darkness was missing from OCW. I hear you on that one. I know some people just come on here to have some fun and competition, but as I've said before, it's such a great creative outlet. As for the other posts: yeah... I MAD.
-
I won't pressure you to tell us how you hurt your arm... but does it involve the number 42?
-
Freakin' lying bastards. When I came back and you were gone, they said you got signed for a record deal, married an Asian midget named Lo Ming and overdosed on cocaine while trying to reenact the last scene of Scarface at your new house in Wyoming (where you moved to piss off all the white people). But yes, Matsuda can be quite funny, but weird tends to be main description that pops up in my head. I gotta admit, he did the Dragonball narrator-voice pretty damn well. Brought me back to when I was but a Teenage Mad One. None the less, Matsuda's RPs tend to stand out and they add a nice change of... pace? Speaking of weird and change: Justin Ethridge... or should I say, ROX. Nice. Also, congrats to you and Dupree. Enjoy your moments while you can... Welcome back to Smythe (seriously... thought you were dead) and Mania. Valmot - tough luck on the DQ. I think you can fight the decision though. I mean, technically the ref didn't see you hit him with the chair; it just happened to be lying on the ground where you DDT'd him. Are you expected to keep the stadium floors clean and free of dangerous objects? What if you did an armdrag and Smythe just happened to land, ass-first onto a tack that was in the ring? Would you be DQ'd then? I think not.
-
Hehe... Matt Black is a clever name.
-
Really - no one else assumed it was an Asian chick? Now I'm worried. Also, kudos to Trance for that word play. Well done. I went with "well done" because I'm sure it's a phrase you are all too familiar with. PAGE:3 - D-Jack reminisces over last week, when he got his hands on Hostile. Now he wishes to pin his shoulders to the mat. D-Jack is unsure if winning the 3-way will grant him another shot with Hostile, but either way; beating two other men at the same time is a good consolation prize. O_O - Only Hostile can go from, "I'm sick of a lot of stuff right now. I'm tired of people and tired of the world", right to, "How have the tours been?" - ending the convo with, "Peace". His new symbol should be ?24? (24 Straight Contradictions Crew). Do you hate everything, yet love the pleasantries of friendly banter? Well then you should join ?24? so you can fuck the world... and then call it the next day, as to not be rude. - Hazard's matches are either moving really fast, or I need to stop taking No-Doz. I haven't decided yet. Whoa... deja vu. And why the hell is there snare in my headphones? Doesn't matter. What does matter is how Jookie ends the match with a future-montage-clip candidate. - "HE'S GOT A SHARK"!!! Everything after that, just get's weird. When I say "weird" I mean one step above Twin Peaks on acid.
-
PAGE:1 - Donut Do’s and Don’ts. Much like double dipping is frowned upon... you don’t touch and go for moe doe. - Birdie’s implants must be filled with helium… and yes, in this case, touching the doe and going for moe is acceptable. Also, is it true that we’re almost out of helium? Fuck is up with that? - Crowe either talks really fast, or I read very slowly. I haven’t decided yet. - Not sure what a cledale is – even Google failed me – but seeing as it was used as an adjective before Dane’s name… I’m assuming it wasn’t meant as a pleasant reference. - I was going to point-out the irony of how KD referred to OCW talent as ‘talking monkeys’… only to revive the group known as D-Evolution, but I feared it might be taken as a racist remark; then I was going to explain why it’s not a racist remark; then I figured that by avoiding the statement due to possible inclinations, is racist in itself… the most dangerous kind of racism, in fact. So back to my original point… it’s ironic. PAGE:2 - Jookie tries to explain how his charisma and KD’s strength, are all they need to make OCW their bitch… but KD wants more of that LSD. - Speaking of LSD and the topic of racism from earlier on... I realize something: when watching the Summercide Promo video, there is a faceless chick in a bikini – for some reason I assumed she was Asian? Anyone else make that assumption, or is it just me? Maybe I just need to lay off the Asian porn. - Don’t worry, Valmont , I didn’t skip your RP - I just needed a decent segway from KD/LSD to the Summercide video. You wrote an RP… I read it. This is the part where you say: Much obliged. - Samuel is a limo driver now? I really gotta stop making references that only 3 people will get. Anyone remember Samuel? Anyone? How about you, Gaines… you gotta remember Samuel. - Two guys pull up to a bar… and I got nothing after that. And if you’re curious: yes, I did stare at the screen for a good minute, trying to think of a good bar joke, only to type “and I got nothing”. None the less, Dane and Double A interact and it didn’t go how I imagined it would… for the most part. For one, it didn’t end with the line: “I feel pregnant”. - Poor Justin Ethridge. Will he ever regain his rock-star resilience and lust for life… or is he doomed to wonder the OCW arenas… a lost and tortured soul? And why do I crave Pepperidge Farm cookies? Back the fuck-up, Trance - I didn’t say I had cookies, just that I suddenly craved them. - Woo. Thank god someone wrote an RP far more racist than anything I’ve typed so far. N-E-ways… as un-politically correct, as it might have been, I enjoyed it and I’m glad to see Matsuda back in the mix. Learning a new language can be difficult, no doubt… but like Matsuda said, “When you’re za fakkin’ badass samurai rockstah you gotta be able to kommunicato with za peoporu, you know”? Indeeeeeed.

I was a little discerning to see one reply to the show, but then I realized it was posted at 10:00PM. Don't have time to watch it all right now, but considering everything leading up to this episode, it was difficult, fighting the temptation to skim... alright, so I skimmed a little. I may not be able to watch it all tomorrow either, but I'll definitely get started.
