We open in a living room, not the nicest looking place in the world but that doesn't matter, what mattered is who was lying on the couch, a remote in one hand and a bottle of Glenfiddich 18, the former Mr. Turmoil. He looks like hasn't moved from that spot for hours, just staring at the TV and taking occasional drinks straight from the bottle, the main event from the last episode of turmoil being paused, rewound and restarted over and over. Just as he hits rewind again his old phone goes off, an unknown number. Part of him just wants to throw it at the wall but a smaller part tells him it's probably a good idea to answer. He hits pause and brings the phone to his ear. Wrex: Who is it? ??: Take a guess. Of course Wrex recognized who it was immediately, after all the phone he was currently speaking on belonged to him. Wrex: Sigh.. What Jim? Jim Black: What do you mean, what? Why do you think Im calling you? Wrex: To tell me my last paycheck has doubled? Jim Black: No, to ask about- wait.. what do you mean last? Wrex: You want to know how it went? That's your answer Jimmy, I'm done. I'm done dealing with this crap. Jim Black: So you're taking your ball home because you lost a match? Wrex: No Jim, I took my ball home cause I'm tired of this s**t, I've tried so damn hard to make that show must see, to give the fans something they can go home and think "damn, I want to go back." And what did that get me huh? I f***ed knee, enough concussions to know I've got CTE coming my way and a some old ranch in f***ing Michigan! Wrex: I get called a what.. false prophet? When all I've ever done is try to lead brain dead thirsty horses to water and tell them to drink. And what does that get me? F**ked by management, thrown into a horses**t match and robbed of my belt, when the guy who rightfully beat me just hands it over to a con artist. Wrex: And I'm supposed to believe that this was done behind managements back huh? I know what I saw, someone upstairs wasn't happy with the ratings and handed the reigns to a cult. Wrex: And I'm expected there next week to put on a happy face, tell the fans it's gonna be all right and how some hero will come along and save the day while I have to watch from the goddamn sidelines? F**K that. Jim Black: So you just walk away, you lost the belt so what? Not the first time is it, you always bounced back. Wrex: Jim, it isn't about the belt, I don't care about the belt.. It's nothing more than some title for people to dream about. Remember what I said last week? About my goals? Wrex: Every year I set a goal to make sure I should even still be doing this. And every year I hit it. Last night ended my goal, last night ended my dream. Without the belt I don't stand a chance of even getting near the top of the card at Lution, never mind the main event. Wrex: I failed, I lost. Game over Kass wins, I lose. I wanted nothing more than to main event the big one, and now.. It'll never happen. I failed my goal, so clearly I shouldn't be doing this. Jim: For gods sake man are you listening to yourself, there's still time. Just readjust your goal. The lines goes quiet for about a minute. Jim: Wrex? Wrex: Sigh... don't call this number again. Jim: Wrex wait a mi- The line goes dead.

I would put some of it down to the time limit that we set on ourselves that we looked over promos very very briefly, and that knocking it back up would probably deal with that, and I definetly see what is being said here. What I said during the podcast probably could of been worded better, but under pressure at the time I said what I did. Listening back what I should of said is that sometimes a promo will be pretty large and the first time of reading my brain will try, fail and chalk it up to "words bruh". I do generally come back in a couple days to give it a read over with a fresh mind, but that wasnt an option with this podcast so I said what I said. I do enjoy these larger promos, especially from H20 and Boob and wouldnt want them changed. Though I hold my ground on Tyson, Its nothing to do with anyone but me. Character just isnt my cup of guinness. And yeah the point that H20 made about only pointing out negatives is completly right, its just what I always do. If I see something that doesnt seem right or seems off in a promo or match I gravitate to pointing it out, if I dont then it usually means everything went right. Something to work on if I ever need to cover the cast again. No disrepect was meant throughout any of the podcast, but shove a live mic in my face and one of two things will happen.. I'll either keep my mouth shut or say something dumb. Its how I am.How dare you disrespect my show like this!
