    Buzzing from a dimmed hotel introduces us to a lobby. No, not that Lobby. The kind of emptiness you’d expect in the early morning hours. 3:56am. That buzzing is accompanied by a nervous foot tapping near the entrance to the hotel. That foot belongs to the determined frame of one Anthony Baker, the scars on his face doing nothing to mask his focus. That focus is interrupted by a familiar voice. ???: Any updates? Baker’s head turns on a swivel, equal parts expecting the question… Equal parts not having an answer. Baker: Nah b. Not yet. The man he faces is one of his teammates in tomorrow night’s Wargames matchup and a man he's relied on for the better part of the last 15 years… Harvey Hamilton Ocean, H2O. H2O: He’ll show. He has to. He won’t- Baker: Man I know that…. But this Rust Cohle shit, man I ain’t ever seen Quartz like this. H2O: I have. Baker’s head snaps to his tag partner, almost accusatorily. H2O: ...But what’s on the other side is anything but surrender. He’s going to blast through the doors tomorrow night with a purpose. Baker: That’s that purpose we all fighting for, tho! H2O: It is. Bolek and I had a chat and he’s as optimistic as we are. H2O and Anthony Baker stand in silence for a few moments, keeping a guarded eye on the front door to the hotel they expect Inness Quartz to populate any minute now. After a few tense, silent moments, H2O speaks again. H2O: ...Not a word, huh? Baker shakes his head slowly, a grimace washing over his face. Baker: No. He hasn’t said a word since Turmoil. Not a text. Not a phone call. Nothing on the socials. Nothing. H2O nods H2O: To be expected. I remember all those years ago… When he dropped me in the middle of the ring on Turmoil and only began to reveal our history… Reveal the fact that he and I are brothers. H2O: At that time, I didn’t know what to think. I didn’t know why my mother and father would lie to me. I didn’t know why he followed me my entire life but chose THAT moment to tell me the truth. Baker’s attention turns to his tag partner, keenly. Baker: Yeah. I was in the ring that night… And so was… A hush falls over the already silent lobby. H2O: ...Yeah. H2O: I’ve been where my brother is at. We’re cut from the same cloth, he and I. I know, update or not… Quartz will be here tomorrow for Wargames… He’s taking as much time as he needs to process the loss of what he viewed as family. H2O: But he knows he’s got family on the other end. He knows this mission is not over. Baker: No doubt… H2O takes a halfstep away from the front door before looking back at Baker. H2O: And you? Baker: I’m not going anywhere. I’ll sleep standing if I must. The first person that man sees when he gets here is gon’ be Anthony Baker .. Through everything we been through. I owe him that much. I owe you all that much. B2O share a knowing nod, as Harvey retires to his room for the night. Baker stands, cell phone in hand, focused to uphold his promise and welcome Quartz to Atlanta.

    SPOILERS BELOW Baker’s Turmoil 333 Match Ratings A-Mart vs Jynx (NA Title) **** The opening reversal sequence made me smile as I kind of figured it would be whoever did the most damage off the bat and A-Mart did as best as he could and he started to really make a comeback towards the middle of the match. The reversal of the sig was huge and started to turn the tide for A-Mart as he was battling back. Right when you thought it was over. BANG. A big kick out for A-Mart. And guess what….. A-MART F**KING DID IT! HOLY CRAP! END OF A RUN! A HELL OF A COMEBACK FOR A-MART. Beautiful fellas. Junko vs Megan ** For what it was it was entertaining. Megan looked good but had a small hiccup that I feel took away from the match for myself so notes are small here. Belakor vs RyVaughn *** I enjoy RyVaughn’s look. Belakor trying to fly made me laugh. This was a fun big beefy match. Ryvaughn looked great in this match and I hope he sticks around cause I think with time and a good character he could solidify himself well. (Reminder that I don’t read as much as I should so I’m not sure what has been written if any.) The ending was perfect. This was a fun ass match. I can’t be mad at all about that. Great match fellas. Iceman vs Mistico **.5 Iceman came to assert himself and I’m here for it! DIGIT! Match was fun and the interruption from DB was very very cool to see! Nothing crazy to note. B2O vs DNS Thank you. I’m very happy to be back and enjoying OCW like I did when I was 17/18 and using it as an escape. I love this family we have. You’ll hear that alot while I’m around. ❤️ (Sorry to Rayzah for the use of his beautiful theme.)

    You’re good. I just take Lil Peep’s death to heart. I literally made Baker look like him with my own twist because of how much I idolized him and listened to him. And that’s how he passed. I might’ve over reacted.
